Friday we went to look for a pre owned car...and was quoted a price ...we asked for couple of datys to decide before we made the final decision, to which we were advised to make $1000.00 payment to hold the car, which we made....meanwhile we got a great price from the other dealer ...when we went back to let them know about our decision...the whole attitude of the sales person drifted 360 degrees negative ..his tone changes ...n then the finance person informed us that our deposit will be refunded to us within a week...while nothing of this sort was told to us before. So know they have held our $1000 for next 3-5 days...just because we decided not to go to them....this is disgusting

At the end of June my husband and I went to South Pointe to look at the Toyota 4 Runner. From the second we pulled up in to the parking lot we were greeted and treated very well. We met with Patryk (who was our salesman) and he was very polite, helpful and knowledgeable. After spending several hours there we decided to go ahead with purchasing a 2018 4 Runner. We wanted a specific color, which was not in stock, so we ordered it from factory. Throughout the period of waiting for it to come in Patryk was very helpful in providing updates when he could. It came in a lot quicker then expected and when we picked it up on Saturday, we were so impressed with not only the vehicle itself, but the service received. Cory, the Financial Services Manager, was great to deal with - He was very helpful and answered all of our questions. This was a great car buying experience. I highly recommend Patryk and South Pointe Toyota.

I would like to thank Patryk Arkuszynksi. Initially when I booked the appointment I didn't expect anything other than just sitting for hours and getting nothing done, but Patryk went above and beyond to accommodate me and treat me with kindness and respect. From the get-go he was very professional, honest and at the same time have a relaxed attitude that made me feel at ease rather than stressed about buying a car. he asked me a few basic questions, one notably whether I have test driven the car I wanted to buy (I had not) and in less than 10 minutes. I was out and about driving this car and falling in love with it!
all the question I had he took it upon himself to answer it honestly and truthfully. Patryk was very knowledgeable and confident about the product he was selling me, got me the price I was happy with and sent me off to the financial Department in LESS than an hour, from test driving to price negotiation took no more than an hour. Don't expect follow up service if there's an issue once the deal is signed. After weeks of grief and non-response to calls and emails, even from the owner, Toyota Canada stepped in to solve the problem in mere minutes. South Pointe could have very easily worked to assist solving the issue but simply said they couldn't and wouldn't and that was that. Thanks Toyota Canada for helping out.

ONE OF A KIND!! MINAZ RATANSHI Due to unforeseen circumstances I both my first Toyota from Northwest Edmonton Toyota. Worst experience ever. Firstly this winter I had a problem where my lights wouldn t turn off. I phoned South Pointe Toyota. It was after hours and a kind gentleman called me back. Minaz Ratanshi salesman was able to solve my problem with my lights. He advised me to bring it in to the service department. Great service and efficient. A few months later Minaz called me to see how my car was running and if I was happy. He later called to ask how my service on my vehicle was. I wasn t due for my 1st oil change. He offered to help in any way possible if I needed assistance. WHO DOES THAT THESE DAYS!! My oil change is due now and to get my free oil change package I would have to drive to Edmonton. Minaz spoke with the manager and they offered to honor my free oil change package at South Pointe. I am still in shock at this service!! I have not heard a word from the dealer I bought the car from but yet the honesty and caring from a salesman who has nothing to gain is ONE OF A KIND!! I wished I had of caught the bus back from Edmonton and bought my care from Minaz. Anyone out there looking for an honest, kind, caring reliable salesman ask for MINAZ RATANSHI . 0 stars was not an option. My partner and I came in to look at a vehicle we saw advertised and were interested in, everything looked great and we ended up going with that vehicle. Unfortunately when the numbers and "extra options" came in we felt very pushed around and pressured by Justin. After some communication it seemed like Justin lost interest and stopped replying.

We bought a 2015 Toyota Sequoia from Adam Milliken and his professionalism, product knowledge, and non - pushy demeanour made this a very pleasant experience. Adam was always available for questions (and I had A LOT) as well as very accommodating in addition to being fair. He came as a referral to me (now I see why!) and I would highly recommend him to others should you decide to purchase a vehicle!
I have also been very impressed with the dealership so far... It's clean, bright, people are friendly and professional and don't pounce on you the minute you walk in the door. I am very happy with my purchase, this Toyota dealership, and especially with the product advisor that we have! My only regret was that I didn't come to see Adam 2.5 years earlier!!
My wife and I have been bringing our Highlander here since 2011 and have received excellent service every time. This last visit the team took it to another level. I am usually the one that brings the Highlander in and I always speak with Le Tran, the service adviser and make sure the Brett Diller, the technician, is the one to work on our vehicle, I then spend a few minutes talking guy stuff with the boys and then go about my business. This time I was not able to drop off the car so my wife had to. When my wife arrived Le came out and personally met my wife, answered her questions, and got her on her way without any issue. When she returned, he again came out to greet her, took care to go over the invoice. When they were done, Brett came out from the shop, explained everything he had done and proceeded to walk her to our Highlander, true gentlemen.

Popped into South Pointe Toyota today on my way home. Been looking for a new SUV and hadn t considered a RAV4 but thought I d just check one out as I ve been unimpressed by the other options I ve seen.
Was met by a guy called Rishi, I came in with an aggressive budget (arguably to aggressive) but he handle it really well. We took a test drive, really knowledgeable about the vehicle. Came back and starting looking over some numbers. I ll be honest, the deal was really good, and I enjoyed negotiating with him. Sale pitch wasn t pushy at all, really felt like they were pushing to get me the best price. They we re happy to accommodate some deal sweeteners as well. Had an opportunity to meet the sales manager there as well, he was also great to deal with. Really understanding of my position and what I wanted. Would highly recommend this dealership and the two gents that I worked with. We didn t close the deal that evening as I ve got a couple vehicles to look at still, and I always like to do my research but based on such a positive experience I ll definitely be giving them the opportunity to get my business. Top guys! Top dealership!

I've been bringing my Toyota Sienna to South Pointe Toyota for many years. They provide great service and are very timely with their promised delivery. Waiting lounge is pretty nice, sometimes I need to work while while I wait for my vehicle and they have plug ins for my laptop and have Wifi. Shuttle service is pretty good, they go everywhere other than downtown which is typical of all dealership shuttles.
My husband and I went in to look at a Toyota Tacoma to purchase a truck and usually our experience with dealerships are frustrating but our experience was super positive with SouthPointe thanks to our salesman Richard Clark. He was patient with us and he listened to everything we wanted on the truck and went out of his way to get us what we wanted. We purchased a new Toyota Tacoma and what a truck, from the start Rick was transparent and responsive. Everything was exactly as described with no surprises and we got great customer service from South Pointe Toyota!
P.S we had already used Southpointe for Service for RAV4 and they where great.
My Wife and I just bought a 2013 Highlander from David Guthoerl at South Pointe. I specifically asked for David based on good google reviews and he did not disappoint! He was a great sales man that was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and approach, no pressure and it just genuinely felt like we were dealing with a real person trying to help us find what we wanted not just someone trying to get a commission. I couldn't give South Pointe 5 stars because of a few little things but I didn't attribute those things to David and would definitely give him 5 stars! Thanks again David.

I am forced to give them a 1 star but what they deserve is -10 stars. Took my vehicle there for an inspection and brake service. They did a part brake service I think, their quote was absolutely ridiculous, they overcharge. Whatever they did do, now I need a wheel alignment. I will never go back ever again. Worst experience ever. Don't waste your time and money here.

This was my first service appointment with South Point Toyota and I m very impressed with how smoothly it went. I dealt with Le Tran the Lead Advisor, who was very professional and efficient. Checkin was quick and easy with 3 large indoor bays to keep you out of the weather. I always worry that service can be a bit of a money grab, so was impressed that they said only one filter needed to be changed.
They offer complementary shuttle service and a very nice waiting area with hot beverages and work areas with plug ins and comfortable chairs with desks. The two drivers were very affable and it was nice, due to covid, that they were only taking 1-2 people at a time.
I will be using South Point going forward for my Toyota service needs. THANKS Le!

I have been leasing and servicing my cars here since 2012. Even though I live at the other end of the city I keep coming back because they treat me and my car well. Jamil Manji is an excellent salesman. My dad sold cars for years, so I know how to spot a snake oil peddler! Jamil is very honest and offers great advice on the best way to maximize the value of your purchase or trade in.
I have never had any issues with servicing and all recalls have been dealt with promptly. I almost always stick around during service because of how far away I live and every single time they go out of their way to make sure my car is ready in as little time as possible.
I have purchased 2 vehicles personally from South Pointe and have referred several of my friends to them to buy vehicles. All of us have had extremely good experiences with our purchases. Alex Taylaran provides exceptional and personal service .
In addition to the wonderful sales experience the service department is the best I ha e ever been to. Trent Phalen and the rest of the guys and girls have treated me very fairly and not taken advantage of me. One time they had the chance to do a brake job because of a bad noise I was experiencing but instead they found the actual problem which was just a rock stuck in there and fixed it.
All departments seem to understand that it is better to treat people fairly and honestly and earn a life long client than to make a few extra bucks today.
If you buy a Toyota South Pointe Toyota is the only place to do it .

I visited this located last night, as a family member recently bought a car from here and had a good experience. However, as soon as I walked in the door I felt ambushed by a sales person. He then then proceeded to awkwardly trap me in a corner, while asking me what I was looking for. I felt pressured to tell Mel, what I was looking for- but had to repeat myself several times, as I think he might have a difficulty hearing- which is fine, but made explaining myself very difficult.
I wanted to test drive the Rav4, like I have test drove similar vehicles at other dealership locations- but the whole process moved at a snails pace, despite South Pointe appearing not very busy. While testing driving the vehicle, this dealership was supposedly appraising my current vehicle...
To get the quote back, took again- forever, but not as long as it took to get my current vehicle's keys back! (Which I had repeatedly asked for several times). The value at which they would trade my current vehicle in- was ridiculously low, and they didn't seem like they wanted to work out any deals. If anything Mel became confrontational when I explained I was not satisfied with what he proposed.
I will not being returning to this location again, when I have received much better customer service at other places.

Recently purchased a 2020 Toyota Tacoma (TRD Off Road) from South Pointe. This was my third time buying a new vehicle from a dealership and my first time buying a Toyota / truck. The purchasing / sales experience with Patryk and Howard was great all around, pricing negotiation was fair and met my expectations perfectly. Parts / Services side was smooth in arranging the installation of a few aftermarket accessories I added on the truck shortly after I picked it up and the shuttle service was fast.

When I arrived at South Pointe Toyota, my children and I were greeted by Kristina making us feel welcome and even giving the kids a little tour. I am not happy at all. I bought 2017 Siena limited. My verbal agreement was they have install remote starter, heater block and hitch . After week I noticed there was no heater block and they install low quality remote stare which is I can know if the van starred or it is off. I called them back and explain the issue . Their response was negative so I was so upset. I don t advise anyone to buy from this dealership

Do not go to South Pointe Toyota. They are very discriminatory against health care workers. I work for the mobile lab, and I had called them to get one of our fleet cars serviced, but then they promptly turned away my driver away. When I called to follow up, I was told that they are not taking any vehicle that is in healthcare. I told them that our collectors are essential workers and can't do their job without a car. They didn't even have the decency to call back. Don't go to South Pointe Toyota. Boycott.
We had a great experience in purchasing an awesome 2013 Highlander Sport from South Pointe Toyota. As we walked into the dealership, we met Trip, the best advisor we could have connected with. Highly recommend dealing with Rishi, he is quite patient & very approachable! I walked into South Pointe Toyota with very limited knowledge of new vehicles yet alone, purchasing one and Rishi welcomed my family & I and began assisting us. He was very informative when addressing each of the concerns my father & I had and also took the time to get to know us personally rather than just keeping things straightly business. Overall, I am more than satisfied with the service that was provided for me here, at South Pointe and with the new vehicle that I got to take home!
I called the dealership over the phone and gave a detailed description of my vehicle, what I owed and my current monthly payments. I know my ask was a lot to trade in my car (it has damage), and that is why I called ahead to see if what I wanted was possible (to reduce my payments). They said "of course it is possible. Come in!"
I go to the dealership and the sales guy would only show me a 2017 to trade in with payments that were exactly the same AND on a longer term. He refused to show me anything else even when I asked.
It would have been better if he had listened to me in the first place and told me what I was looking for wasn't possible over the phone instead of wasting both our time. Will not being going to a place that doesn't listen to the needs of customers ever again.
I would rate this 0 stars, but one star is the lowest. Bonus was the free coffee.
I had my worse experience ever with South point since I bought a new demo Corolla and continue till now which I went there to appraise my car. Their quote was 5000$ less than what they sell the car... Even while I have free oil change, the charged me over 100$ for regular service and oil change of a Corolla.
