Super accommodation, exceptionally convenient for Terminal 5 at Heathrow.
Nice
Welcome cookies and clean room with starched linens
We did dine in the. Real fast buffet and we're charged for two buffets
oNLY one of us ate
I wasn't feeling well and declined breakfast but, I was still charged
Could you check about the situation?
Otherwise, the stay was quality
We stayed at the Sofitel Hotel London Heathrow for a day layover (not overnight). The room was modest and not overly large however it was clean, the bathroom was modern and felt new and the bed was extremely comfortable. The check in process was easy with no issues and a friendly enough staff. The only thing preventing a 5 star review is our experience staying in hotels in other parts of the world providing larger spaces with exceptional interior design.
Delighted to be told we were 'Guests of the Day' and that our accommodation had been upgraded. Escorted to the Kingsize room which was clean, comfortable and spacious. Enjoyed our complimentary glass of wine and our meal in 'La Belle Epoque' although service was very slow. Also provided with a complimentary breakfast before our departure.
Brilliant venue, drinks prices were extortionate though! Forgot I was in London
The best hotel for teminal 5. A walkway goes from the terminal to the hotel. The rooms are large and very clean. The bed is comfortable and there is a mini fridge to keep drinks etc cold, kettle and iron board. The tv has a number of mutimedia connections although the hotel wifi was very slow less than 1mb so ok for socialmedia but not for streaming video. The main restaurant was also nice and had a wide range of choices pizza, curry and burgers. All together this was a nice relaxing hotel for an overnight stay. Staff were nice and hotel building is something a bit different from the normal airport hotels.
Beautiful and well decorated. Staff were very helpful
Great accommodations within the perimeter of Heathrow, with places for meditation, inclusive! I liked it!
Pleasant surprise to be upgraded and restaurant fitted us in even though it was almost 10.30, ie closing time.
With upgrade came a complementary continental breakfast offered in the Milleville room. Hopefully following will be taken as constructive criticism. Room was about half full, obviously had been busy, plates glasses etc on all tables. Most food items were run down/none, no forks, few glasses. Asked staff for assistance..Slowly helpful. Appeared to be well under staffed. Scrambled eggs were stone cold and inedible. Appear to have been there way too long. Disappointing finish to an otherwise pleasant stay with rest of staff being efficient and most helpful.
After having a few issues last time I stayed I am pleased that everything was fine and back to the usual standard
A long layover was the deciding factor in taking a room at the sofitel heathrow. The day rate was reasonable, the room was exceptional and the staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all a very positive experience that was made what would have otherwise been a very painful wait in a crowded, noisy airport. Thanks to the staff on the day we were there, great job.
The room was immaculate, and most important, the bed was extremely comfortable. This is a high class hotel with everything I needed to be very happy.
I love this hotel mainly because of close distance to Terminal 5 Heathrow - walking distance. The rooms are very comfortable and hotel has few nice restaurants and very nice business lounge with very good food and drinks. There is a spa also but I never have time to go there. Maybe next stay.
I definitely recommend this hotel for short stay with connections through terminal 5, very convenient. If you like to go to London, Hotel has a fabulous limousine service that will take you in style anywhere you wish to go.
We had an overnight overlay at Heathrow, and decided to stay at the Sofitel, because it has convenient location to Terminal 5.
The room was clean and big. The express checkout was handy.
The only down side was there was no hair dryer.
Ours was a short overnight stay and we found the hotel to be in an ideal location, only a short distance from our checkin for the early morning flight. The room was superb. No complaints whatsoever.
An oasis inside the airport and flights! Magnifique!
I was really blown away at the high standards to which this hotel is run. The staff are so friendly and professional. The place was immaculately clean. The hotel just has a peace about it, everything thing seems happy and calm especially amid a global pandemic. Hats off to the management and whole team.
Price for food and drinks are expensive, you have to pay 25 pounds for the spa/hottub, no channels on the TV to watch. Bed is ok, bathroom is the best part of the room in my opinion. After spending all week in London, this has to be the most expensive room I have paid for.
Met expectations and much better experience than last stay at Sofitel T5! Booked 15 day car park package - bag drop, parking, arrival and check in all fine. Rooms take some finding until you figure numbering system. Room okay (not keen on light switches). Avoided Vivre Restaurant after bad experience on last stay - had bar drinks and food which are expensive - but good! Personally I prefer the older Sofitel at Gatwick North which has more character.
I stayed overnight for a business meeting being held at the Sofitel and the room was very nice although lack of a hair dryer was a surprise
The hotel was as good as usual; good service, clean, great location etc. But this visit was let down by the internet service not recognizing my login credentials (room number and name); this really should have been sorted after I first reported it but it hadn't been resolved by the time I checked-out 2 days later.
Great stay - wonderful food - disappointing coffee and tea provisions in the room. Coffee was extremely bitter
The service was great, only visited the bar for drinks. The staff was friendly, the prices weren't that expensive. Location is great if you're traveling from Terminal 5 as it's right across the road from the doors. You've got other places within the airport that serve the same purpose of you're after a drink but then again you get away from all the suitcases. If you're there to see someone off, it's much better than finding a place in the crowded airport entrance. The place seemed clean and the service great and professional for the hotel category.
Good hotel great for T5 at Heathrow. Staff courteous and helpful.
The staff are fabulous the hotel is gorgeous and very modern. Prefect if travelling from terminal 5 as its attached via a tunnel
I stayed at the Sofitel Hyatt last week, and had stayed there before. The main reason was that I had a flight the next day and didn't want to be rushed in the morning.
But what made this time so great is that I spent a lot of time in the Club Millesime. I was at the hotel alone, and getting lonely hanging out in my room. But in the Club, there were people chatting, and I could work on my laptop, read the newspapers, and chat with the other people. This made it a completely different experience! I also used it for dinner and breakfast. (Note: they don't actually serve dinner, but they do provide hors d'oeuvres, which are sufficient unless you are really hungry, and are quite good; they also provide wine and spirits.) The Club Millesime made my otherwise solitary day (arriving at the airport at noon the day before my flight) quite enjoyable. The next morning I got there a bit before they opened at 6:15 AM, and discovered Eva (the staff person in charge that morning). Eva is a delight - friendly, intelligent, available for an interesting chat or will leave you alone if you have something to do. We talked for quite a long time while I had several cups of coffee! After my morning exercise, I came back for breakfast, and said goodbye to Eva. I hope the next time I'm at the hotel, Eva will still be there.
In general, the hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and it's as convenient as can be. I was catching a flight out of Terminal 2, but even so it was convenient (not a long time to get to the other terminal via Heathrow Express). But on top of that, definitely - if you can arrange it - use Club Millesime. It makes a big difference in staying in an airport hotel to have a nice place to hang out, people to talk with, and good food and wine.
Stayed here before an early morning flight. The rooms were clean and well kept with blackout curtains. We did set an early morning alarm through the TV but it didn't seem to work. However we had our own alarms too so it was OK.
Dinner at Vivre was great (we had pizza) and the cocktails (sofitel gin fizz) was great!
Excellent place to stay if you have early flight or weekend away
Food expensive - breakfast nowhere near as good as it should have been for the price. Nice room, bed, and bathroom, though. Plenty of space for cot.
Very nice hotel, comfortable beds and nice amenities. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Convenient location in the airport.
Took all stress out of early morning journey to airport..
Excellent staff, could not fault the room, even had a magnifying mirror with lighting in bathroom for my wife
Excellent service top to bottom. Room service food was better than we expected. Will definitely stay again.
Always a pleasure to stay at Sofitel Heathrow. Great service and nothing is more convenient for T5.
Service was friendly and efficient, room nice, room service food excellent. A brief explanation of the electrical setup would have been helpful for weary travelers new to the hotel. Hair dryer situation made no sense, i.e. having the desk drawer jammed into your leg when trying to operate it. Iron did not work properly.
Exceptional, professional service from NILANGA and his team. We had a number of requests, and Nilanga accommodated them all. First rate!!
Nice room. Friendly staff. Great concierge. Extremely easy access to terminal #5 at Heathrow
Front desk check in was flawless, personable and efficient- the young man was a trainee and was superb.
Food service in the Vine dining room excellent. Room was comfortable, nicely appointed and clean. .
Great for overnight transit stops to US or if departing from Terminal 5
It is ridiculous to stay at a airport hotel and not be able to get a reservation at the restaurant.
Excellent choice for overnight stay before an early flight
We have stayed at the Sofitel at Terminal 5 on more on almost a dozen times and we always enjoy our experience there. Of course, you cannot beat the location of this hotel as you can easily walk to it once you are out of your plane, but in addition to that, the staff is extremely courteous and professional, the rooms and facilities are very clean and comfortable, and the restaurants serve great food. We have eaten at all restaurants there and have never been disappointed but we particularly enjoy having tea in the afternoon and we were very impressed by Nilanga Perera who paid excellent attention to us and made us feel very special. We always recommend this Sofitel to our friends who lay-over in London.
Comfortable bed and nice spacious bathroom, nothing to complain about
Went to a briefing in an auditorium. Comfortable seating, good view of the front. Shame that the news being delivered was awful for my future, but the comfort really did take the sting out.
This was our Second stay at the Sofitel Heathrow. It s very convenient for Terminal 5 access with a direct walkway from the hotel to the airport. There is also parking under the hotel. The hotel is a top end airport hotel. Our room was upgraded without asking and the room was great very clean with a nice modern bathroom The breakfast was exceptional with everything you could imagine available for breakfast. Freshly cooked pancakes, bacon, eggs, omelettes. Plus a great selection of fruit, cereals and bakery.
The staff at reception were very good and cooperative helping guest get their test App on our phones. Seems that those of us who have Android phones were struggling a lot.
The test service was excellent apart from the App. I received the results at 03.00 AM!
I think the Test and Rest service is worth it.
The rooms very comfortable and clean. There was only room service for obvious reasons but the TV menu did not show their telephone number and the printed menu neither so I had to go down to reception. Otherwise, very good service and comfortable.
I will return and I recommend it.
Great hotel at the airport in London. Always great quality and service is 10 out of 10.
All I did was take a shower, which cost 25 pounds per person, that's expensive
Pure luxury ! If you want to unwind after your flight, while transferring to another flight, just have a couple of days here. IT IS WORTH THE PRICE ! If you want a fantastic SPA experience, and you are short on time, you cannot go wrong ! I arrived at Terminal 4, and took a free, short bus ride to Terminal 5. I'm leaving eventually, from Terminal 2 on my next visit, but I will NOT stay anywhere else in London ! You've got a shopping area only a few minutes walk, and you can stay indoors the whole walk . . . Great gym and SPA, especially for these 2 or 3 day stays, and food and drinks are really good.
Next to Terminal 5 at London Heathrow, this is a modern and excellent hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and customer engaging. Breakfast is brilliant and so many choices. Eggs, ommlets and others cooked to order. Nice bar area. Bedrooms large and ask for king sized bed.
Excellent staff, very friendly, accommodating and attentive. We are currently hosting guests there and the management team have been very supportive and helpful especially magic mike.
My stay was very relaxing in the midst of a very hectic business trip. A very nice hotel and the proximity to Heathrow helped to simplify my trip.
Excellent rooms, brilliant helpful staff and room service exceptional.
Lovely hotel, very clean and stylish lots of options for food and drinks, plenty of parking and very convenient for the airport
Efficient check in - comfortable room. Dinner was good , food fresh and delicious. Breakfast was extremely enjoyable and the service from your staff exceptional. A very convenient location close to Terminal 5 so after a long flight it worked well.
Superb service, beautiful hotel with good facilities..... Need to install toilets in the gym or at least on the same floor!
Very convenient location, just next Terminal 5 of Heathrow Airport
Excellent location for Terminal 5. The room was perfect and the staff friendly.
Spent a night there before an early morning flight. Very comfortable place and bed restaurant served some great prawns
Nice rooms and food, hotel was quite quiet when we stayed, upgraded to a superior room on arriving, mini bar only had water in it but 2 bars downstairs and nice seating areas. Was a stay one night and park car while away deal which worked nicely big car park lots of spaces free.
Very good option to stay inside Heathrow terminal 5. Move rooms, bars and restaurants options. Nice breakfast as well
Walking distance from terminal 5 at LHR. Nice hotel. Great room but I did get an upgrade. With good restuarant. Staff friendly at check in + express check out option.
Excellent 5 star hotel directly connected to Terminal 5. Rooms are soundproof (so very quiet) and have very nice amenities. Their breakfast is above and beyond everything I have ever seen (so please come very hungry and allow extra time to enjoy it)
Stop off at Heathrow beat the traffic. Yes it's expensive, but quality & security are worth it. Bit of a corridor walk from Terminal 5, but covered all the access from ground floor, well signposted. Fast & efficient check in, good dinner but London prices shock a Scott, no fried mars bars :).
Room spacious, clean & great bathroom with separate shower. Comfy bed. Just a pity have to be up at 5:50 am for check in for flight. That's the great advantage, no taxi , bus shuttle or traffic jam, just tunnel walkway. Great start to holiday.
Best hotel at Heathrow. Great rooms, service and executive lounge
Very nice, spacious and comfy room and 2 minutes away from terminal 5. Only problems were finding the hotel as the signage was very small, and a light in our bathroom had no bulb so there were bare wires hanging out, not what I'd expect from a premium hotel but it didn't detract from the experience.
as always in a Sofitel, very good Service and a beautiful hotel.
only that the room has come to age. there is dents and "worn off" signs on furniture. not Sofitel Style actually.
but other than that, just perfect.
Awful.
Management were nowhere to be seen leaving junior staff to handle a fault with no guidance and no reassurance to customers and no compensation to guests
An excellent place to stay. Convenient as terminal 5 is walking distance and is connected to the Hotel. The staff are very friendly and professional at the same time. Room sizes are also good and all amenities are available. I'm is also a perfect way to stay if you are in between transfers
