Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort Review

We were on our 1st wedding anniversary, on arrival we were choosen as guest of the day and given complimentary Breakfast for our stay, free access to executive lounge for afternoon tea and coffee and evening cocktails in addition to complimentary dinner for 2 at Cucina Rest.

Swimming Pools are so clean, plenty of sunloungers and clean water with lovely pool bar area

Beach is very clean and tidy

Our ocean view room was breathtaking & super clean, we have also received special arrangement and Cake for our anniversary.

Bed extremely huge and pillows are super comfortable

All hotel staff are completely professional, sensational & friendly just ask and you will find them there

Breakfast is best part of the stay, delicious & amazing food with more than 4 international huge stations and big variety of food selection

Shisha is also available at pool bar deck

Magnificent & amazing experience and will definitely come back again in future, recommended for families and couples

The service was exceptional. The rooms on the 3rd floor all have a partial view of the sea. Only complaint was the sliding glass doors are not entirely sound proof and noise from outside travels into the room and the curtains cannot fully shut out the outside lighting as the edges fall short to completely cover the sliding doors. Otherwise it is a great place to relax and unwind.

This hotel is very luxurious. It's a pleasure to get an upgrade during your stay. The equipment in the room is all luxurious, the service at the hotel is also very good

June 18. Stayed 3 nights with a lagoon access room. REALLY NICE. As with all of Bali, the staff are awesome. Hotel facilities all that you could ask for. Minor complaints would be that the breakfast seating was really uncomfortable. Possibly lacked enough staff to keep clearing tables of plates or to offer coffee etc. No conveniance store for buying light food or drinks. Minor stuff.

Wow, what a gorgeous, luxury hotel and expansive grounds - i'm fact the best I have ever visited in the world! Our friends had an immaculate suite, we just visited to have cocktails and snacks in the sun by the amazing pool bar. Well worth a stay here or even at least a visit if you can !!!

The hotel is superb, but it is suitable for people who like to soak in the hotel. The location is a bit biased, and nothing happens when you go out.

The place was nice, but not the staff. I asked them to organise a blue bird taxi, however they called for the private taxi who didn't have GPS and took us all the way to the destination.

This was supposed to be our honeymoon trip, which was canceled due to Covid-19. A worldwide pandemic should override existing policy and we should have been offered a refund. We were planning to stay at a total of 3 places around Bali. The airline and 2 other properties gave us a full refund despite their no-refund policies. This hotel is taking advantage of something that is completely out of our control. Our airline cancelled our flight there is no way of us physically getting there, they know they aren t receiving flights and still will not refund us. They are an added stress to replanning a whole wedding and honeymoon next year. Very disappointed.

What sweet and beautiful place for real I love Indonesia

Absolutely stunning hotel. Welcome & check-in was seamless. Staff were extremely helpful the whole time. The room was very spacious and luxurious. The food options on the resort were of a high standard. We sat outside every morning for breakfast which was a lovely way to start the morning. Our best dinner was at Toya Beach Bar & Grill, where we had the unlimited share platter. We saved going to Cucina until the last night, which was a beautiful idea. Portions were very generous. I was stuffed by the end of mine and we had to ask for my girlfriend's pasta to be put into a takeaway as there was too much. Still, a very pleasant evening.
The pool was the biggest hit. It was amazing. We enjoyed partaking in the aquaerobics of a morning.

The only suggestion we had was that there was no hair conditioner which is quite important in a tropical location when you are showering often.

On the whole, a stunning location and beautiful hotel with a high level of attention to detail.

Very nice huhu, elegant place and very modern. The work of many Caucasians and their place is very luxurious. Modern ornaments are just minus, there is no prayer room and the main entrance to the front gate is quite far.

For me, Sofitel is the best luxury hotel in Bali. I love it...

Beautiful resort to spend many days in. We experienced some check in issues and were delayed hours just waiting around without our supposedly ready room. Felt like we spent a lot of time waiting for them to correct slip ups after slip ups. We spoke to the manager who was apologetic and prioritised the quality of our experience above all and offered a complimentary massage by the beach for us - a good gesture that set us back in a better mood for sure. Slip ups happen, understandably so, and Sofitel does try to make up for it. It reflects how they place service excellence at the centre of what they do. I enjoyed my 5 day stay in this place - it s also easy to venture out to local street stalls when you want a local taste. Highly recommend a stay here!

Staying for 2 nights in Sofitel. I had a very relaxing holiday, the bed is very comfortable.

Just arrived, welcome drink was nice BUT room wasn't ready at 4:20PM, when we finally entered it wreaked of moldy air.
This was only topped by the broken tap in the bathroom.
No apologies from the receptionist, we were asked to stay in the room until the repair was finished... Repair guy came, didn't take off his boots. Problem solved within less than an hour.

Someone also brought a Plasmacluster air purifier to reduce the smell.

Sofitel provides good standards and is arranged according to SOP 5Star Hotel, friendly and fast enough service. comfortable atmosphere and adequate facilities. swimming pool and children's facilities are very good.
the quality and freshness of the cold towels at the welcoming reservation are less fresh and less comfortable (a bit smelly).
the cleanliness of the bathroom area in the room need to be considered in detail on the floor and glass.

went for dinner in shoulder season and found it empty, only the Italian place had people. wasted my time going there and missed out on eating at ayam ibu oki.

5 Star Resort ! Second time here .
Great location on the beach. Amazing breakfast daily , and the staff were great at breakfast with our young daughter .Food was a good standard , Tip2 - Try and do the Buffet with drinks if you are here over a weekend it was very good and the food was good quality.
We had the suite and the views were breath taking - you cant beat watching the sun come up each morning on the balcony.
The swimming pools are well maintained and clean, we did a couple of aqua aerobic classes which were fun and good laugh.
The Gym and spa facilities are very good and the gym was very well equipped - I had a few very good workouts here and the staff were welcoming and friendly - Gym review on the blog and tripadvisor .
Im on the train in London so will write a more in depth review asap and post more pics on instagram etc
I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.

Stayed for my Honeymoon in Sofitel with not such a good start as the room had AC issues and also cleanliness of the sheets. after talking with Jan he offered us to move to a new room even with a upgrade and really looked after us. overall the property is beautiful and the team is very friendly would recommend people to go.

Were allowed to use the pool, ate well and had a drink, very friendly staff

The almost good hotel, not worthy to be used as Sofitel . Not deserved to be 5-stars hotel. Quite disappointed for choosing as our 1st Anniversary.

Depending on the day of the week and the season, the beach club named Nikki Beach Bali has been renamed and released free of charge, and you can use the pool of the super luxury hotel and the private beach of the hotel comfortably. The drink is small bintan comes out in a glass 60000rp, 350ml of Perrier is 30000rp, the food is a set of kids' menu 95000rp (ayam goreng and rice, cheeseburger and potato, choice from meatball pasta)
Adults ate at Ikan Bakar on the way back, so it is the impression of the children, but it seems that the pasta and the burger are very delicious.

The hardware specifications are good and the room cleaning staff is not careful enough. The water stains on the washbasin are not clean. Water stains can be seen everywhere.

Great places with great views. Have access to the beach and huge pools.. Surely a place to stay if you are looking for a retreat and give yourself a great leisure experience
