We recently bought a new home without an alarm system and while shopping on the web we found numerous security companies offering "free" equipment, "free" installation and surprisingly all of them were rated #1 in the market, blah, blah, blah. I personally don't like to be chained to a company for multi year contracts where the future price is hidden in the small print to then be stuck on a multi hour "customer service call" where they tell me I was dumb for not reading the terms of the contract.

Anyways, I came across Smith Thompson due to a friend referral and was surprised oh how simple their business model is. You call, a highly professional technician shows up, reviews your home, tells you what you really need, installs it and then you get a contract free alarm system with a month-to-moth fee that is just unbeatable. --I mean, yes the upfront payment is higher than going to the blue, the orange or the green companies, but on the long run Smith Thompson is a cheaper option because they are truly a hassle free, no contract, no BS company and that is something hard to find these days.

I highly recommend Smith Thompson. They do what needs to be done without all the ridiculous add-ons (that just take away your money and don't really give you extra security) offered by other companies and the customer service I've received so far is one of the best I've seen.

From the get go this was an amazing experience. From setting up the installation to the technician. I was able to get the instillation within a couple days and he was in an out with an hour. Gary went over everything with me in detail and answered all my questions. Not to mention the price! I highly recommend this company!

We have used Smith Thompson for our home security since we bought our house in 2009. We have been very pleased with their service. When we decided to put in security cameras, we checked with them first but they did not offer that service at that time. We checked into several other companies but just didn't feel comfortable going that route especially considering the cost. As soon as Smith Thompson started offering it, we called them. I will admit we are senior citizens and are a tad "technologically challenged". The technician came out and went over what we wanted and gave us an estimate. We scheduled a time for the installation. He assured us he would be coming back to install and would spend as much time as needed to make sure we knew how to operate it and that is exactly what happened. We are very pleased with the system and the service. We recently had a problem after a power outage. The same technician came out and fixed everything with no charge. Again, he stayed until he answered all our questions. I recommend Smith Thompson highly.

I contacted them to update a 30+ year old system on a very large property. It was a complicated install. My provider said they couldn't help me because of the difficulty of the new install. After searching, I was referred to Smith-Thompson. They exceeded my exceptions in every regard. I have a new, easy to use, state of art system installed by an expert technician. And, when I got the bill, it was half what I thought it could be!

Smith Thompson came to my house to update my equipment and reactivate my service. The serviceman was professional, on time and did his work quickly and efficiently. When I heard about Smith Thompson Security's price with no contract, I honestly thought it sounded too good to be true. I'm here to tell you it's all true. I have an existing system that they have been monitoring for a few months and everything from the technician install to a couple of false alarms, which they called within a few seconds, has been move than expected. I would highly recommend them.

I recommend Smith Thompson Pest control based on the following 3 facts. 1. It is very easy to schedule, reschedule and cancel any appointment, no need to sign any contract with them. 2. Their charge is very reasonable. 3. Their Technision is very nice. When he came, first asked what pest problems we have, also what we expect him to do, then he did very detailed spraying. I will keep using them with any pest issues.

I had a really positive experience with Smith Thompson. After getting a quote from ADT I called Smith Thompson. They were much less expensive and I decided to go with them. Their representative came out and converted my system quickly and painlessly and walked me thru how to use it. This is a good company with great service and rates you can't beat elsewhere!!!

When installing my system last year, I already had a Q system...they made a recommendation, that I should replace it because it wasn't "secure". The rep also told me I couldn't have a glass break sensor because the system couldn't "handle it" along with 4 window sensors (which I ended up calling them the next day and they said their installer lied). BTW they sent the same "liar" back out for servicing and to add the additional equipment. So I call today because I just moved and they told me before to buy the equipment so if i move it can come with us. Well today a rep told me "no" we don't move equipment. And he said he could sell me a "Q" panel like the one the rep removed and stole from my home. I'm going Ring, I'm tired of the lies. Oh and FYI...the rep overcharged me and it takes up to a month to get your money back....this is what they said.

First off sir it is highly disingenuous of you and indicative of your customer service to try to "rebut my review" because you can't, it's my experience.
1) The IQ panel I had was from another alarm company not yours.
2) YOUR office were the one's that stated the tech lied.
3) The tech told me the system YOU SOLD me could only handle 4 sensors and that I couldn't add a glass break sensor. The next day I felt that had to be incorrect I called your office, a manager looked into the issue APOLOGIZED and stated he had no idea why the tech lied!
Lastly, why sir would you state "I said throw my equipment away", because that's another lie. I never knew your guy took my equipment! You guys told me that touchscreen units were for apartments, and that a keypad unit was more secure, and that if I moved, I owned the equipment.....you just left out that part where you won't offer the installation if the homeowner moves. This is correct, right?

Smith Thompson Home Security came to our home on a short notice and quickly installed our Home Security. It was highly recommended by a relative and we couldn't be happier. No need to pay $50+ for an alarm system, when you can pay a lot less for the same service. Highly recommend Smith Thompson!

Where to start. First off, the monthly monitoring price is the best in the industry. From the first time I made contact with Smith Thompson to the time the technician left my home following install, my experience was stellar. The salespeople are super friendly, the tech was great and very detailed when showing me how the entire system worked. And the few times I have inadvertently set the alarm off, the call center contacts me immediately with genuine concern. I can't say enough good things about this company and will be a customer for life!

We called Smith Thompson to set up an appointment for a technician to come by our house. The technician called because he could come early, which was great. He look around the house and made suggestions on a motion detector, and installed it in about 20 minutes. We got a review of how to use the system, and everything was done. I really liked how great the price was and how easy it was to install.

Less than half the price of my previous Security company. They were able to use the hardware I already purchased and just needed to add a chip and wireless transmitter. The whole thing took less than a half hour. My payment options were explained clearly and there was no high pressure sales pitch to choose one over another. Great pest control with huge savings too! Love this company!
