We recently bought a new home without an alarm system and while shopping on the web we found numerous security companies offering "free" equipment, "free" installation and surprisingly all of them were rated #1 in the market, blah, blah, blah. I personally don't like to be chained to a company for multi year contracts where the future price is hidden in the small print to then be stuck on a multi hour "customer service call" where they tell me I was dumb for not reading the terms of the contract.

Anyways, I came across Smith Thompson due to a friend referral and was surprised oh how simple their business model is. You call, a highly professional technician shows up, reviews your home, tells you what you really need, installs it and then you get a contract free alarm system with a month-to-moth fee that is just unbeatable. --I mean, yes the upfront payment is higher than going to the blue, the orange or the green companies, but on the long run Smith Thompson is a cheaper option because they are truly a hassle free, no contract, no BS company and that is something hard to find these days.

I highly recommend Smith Thompson. They do what needs to be done without all the ridiculous add-ons (that just take away your money and don't really give you extra security) offered by other companies and the customer service I've received so far is one of the best I've seen.
