My top place for tasty Burgers. I love it here. I'll return with my relatives.

Came in to grab lunch because I generally like their food from other chains but as soon as I walked in I noticed a male worker with an earring causing a scene and giving everyone attitude. The guy made everyone including myself uncomfortable. Not to mention it took them like 25 minutes just to get out a kids chicken strips meal. I said thanks and the lady that handed it to me didn t even acknowledge me. The worst experience ever I deeply regret spending my money here.

The burgers are SOOO GOOOD. It reminds me a bit of Shake Shack.

Great location, I always get the Colorado burger and I love it. Will recommend!

Indian kid was pretty mean and the burger was not good

I came in to this specific location at about 1:00pm on a Sunday. First and last time EVER. Total disappointment. "Vanessa" name on my receipt was very helpful but the other girl standing beside the counter told me "I can get that for you" (ranch) snotty! Totally unaware that I wasn't able to do so myself! 6.99 for a grilled chicken sandwich that is drenched in cooking oil and beyond thin?! Not to mention they charge separately for each side/drink in addition! Wow. They need to do better. I recommend this place to none.

One of my top spots for delicious Burgers. came in on a weds. certainly worth going back to. prices were reasonable. if it wasn't far from my work i would come by more.

So much for showing "gluten-free" options on their website. This location was out of everything that could be made gluten-free when I went on a Wednesday afternoon and when I asked questions about what they could do gluten-free, I was told they couldn't do anything at all.

If you're looking for gluten-free options on the 16th Street Mall, I say skip this place and go elsewhere.

Avoid this Smashburger. All of the other locations have good burgers, but everytime I order here the burger has char from never cleaning the grill and the bun is soaked in grease. This happens with every burger from this location.

Burger was amazing, and the beer battered onion rings were delicious. Great food!

Burgers are very good. The wheelchair lift was working and not filled with trash or cleaning supplies. But my gosh the lift floor was disgustingly dirty. Indeed, the entire restaurant needed a power washing. I am sure it is cleaned at night but this is not nearly adequate enough. Eat outside as inside is dirty. For the price, it is a great cheap place to eat.

Was an ok place to eat . It's most definitely less greasy than Steak n' Shake

Meat was burned on a couple of our burgers. 4 were wrong. Grilled cheese was not cooked well. Completely unimpressed.

Better food than McDonalds. But the electronic menu was broken, and I had to order based on an ad. Short staffed location.

This would be a great location for a restaurant. Went in today before noon thinking that there wouldn't be a long wait. Wrong. I was the only person waiting to order. Two girls who were bagging up orders stood and talked for a good five minutes. Then one comes over and points at a guy leaning against the wall and tells him she can take his order. He proceeds to order several burgers and drinks. Takes her a long time to ring up the order and process his card. I'm standing behind him in line. Instead of taking my order she walks away and goes back to talking to the other girl. Several more people come in and stand behind me so the cashier decides to come back and take my order. I've now been standing there for over 15 minutes. She informs me that they are short-handed and it will be 25-30 minutes before I can get my food. Seriously? There are only a few people in the restaurant eating and one guy ahead of me and I can see the order board from the cash register and there are probably six orders on it. And short handed? I've eaten in this place for the last year at least once a month because it is close to my office. The typical number of staff were working. Three in the kitchen and two on the floor. I told her it might have been helpful if she had let me know 15 minutes ago instead of standing around visiting that it was going to be a while before I got to order or even got an order. This place needs new management.

I have eaten at this restaurant a few times in the past, and have generally received good food. My burgers have included all of their ingredients, and none of my orders have been mistaken in any way. The staff were friendly and, due to the restaurant's location on prime downtown Denver real estate, had to deal with a significant number of clients. However, this did not stop them from greeting me and my companions with a smile and quickly and effectively taking our orders and bringing us our food at haste. The reason this review has only four stars is due to the condition of our table when we arrived. It was covered with an alarmingly built up film of whole wheat bun crumbs and flecks of other indistinguishable substances. We likely exposed ourselves to biohazards from previous customers who might have been infected with sicknesses. This did not hinder the overall experience and I was still able to enjoy a healthy a filling meal with my friends. I would not be surprised if their service has improved since my visit, and would recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in a nice meal while on the 16th St. Mall.

I love SMaSHBURGeR don't get me wrong, BUT--- this day was rather disappointing.

First- Iren the cashier greeted me as such; "What's Up." While looking tired and bothered lazily leaning on the register. I was confused because what kind of greeting is that to begin an order.

So I proceeded to make my order, I tried the triple double plain only cheese and lettuce, as well I've always ordered mixed fries the sweet potatoes and the regular smash fries. But this time I wasn't allowed to do so, so I had to order two orders of fries. Which is fine.

Second- Iren handed me my receipt in a lazed irritation as my receipt ripped and fell I had to catch it and I walked away because I was not pleased.

Third- on my way to the restroom there was another worker cleaning the floor with the mop and mop bucket, fine ok but when I come out she's touching the top of my fries to put them in my bag I was not happy and on top of that my burger had no lettuce and the smash fries were cold. I never complain but today I have to say something the CUstomer service was not at all pleasing and I rarely pay attention. Ps two other customers had issues so I decided to say something.

Dear Smash Burger owners please work on training better sanitation and customer service skills and appearance for your employees, things as small as that can make a loyal customer never come back.

Vote with your feet. Never give them your $ ever again. Put them out of business! Double burger is NOT double. It s two HALF SIZED patties & they charge extra. PENDING LAWSUIT: just google "class action lawsuit + Smashburger" and read about their LIES & deceit!

This place consistently disappoints. The food is greasy, over cooked and underseasoned. The only redeeming aspect is that the service is prompt and friendly.

I didn't eat here. I didn't visit. I've dismissed this several times. Please....go away

I ordered my burger online as I have a 30min lunch...get my order which about 2mins from my office. Get back and notice the order is wrong...missing bacon and it had been smashes in the bag. Walked back asked for the manager who was like it was no big deal. The cook behind the counter started talking trash underneath her breath and I told the manager didn't want her to make my food, said manager "I didn't see it". Burger was remade. Something said check the bag...the burger was still WRONG! It was missing cheese this time! I asked for a refund and the corporate number 3 times and was not provided by the manager but by the cashier after the "manager" walked away! Never again! Waiting for my return phone call!

My order was wrong & they gave me rotten lettuce on both burgers. I called & spoke to the manager and they offered to remake my orders or free. I was there for work, so I didn t have time to go back & get it; but I m happy they offered.

The burger was delicious but the wheat bread was a hell no for me.

I've tried them both, 5 guys and Smashburger and the results are in. They are both equally good.

Very good food and customer service. Misunderstanding of one of our orders was fixed asap. When I move there in 2 years I will be a regular, can't wait to go back to stay!

I Told. Love everything about this place. Love they are home grown and don't have a hundred locations (yet). Smashburger S Love how I can stroll in here after a jaunt around the lake or a Frisbee outing at the park across the street. Love their efficient set up. Love how even though the place is small, most patrons acknowledge the eating time frame and get in and out pretty quick, thus a table can be had, even in packed hours. Smashburger

The "large" fry was small. The fry container was half filled and they said it was correct when I asked.

The two ladies who attended me were very kind, thank you for your recommendations, it is a good place to eat everything well

First time eating there was pretty good, would definitely eat there again

First time eating at a Smashburger and it will definitely be my last. We just picked up my son from the airport and he wanted to visit downtown Denver. We decided to stop at this restaurant he never heard of before, being from Ohio. I had the crispy chicken in which when I ordered it the cashier told me it would be 5-10 minutes to cook since that had gotten new chicken that was thicker. I was supposed to get my sandwich and find that it came out with my families order a couple minutes later and the chicken was almost non-existent. It was probably 1/8 thick!
My two adult sons had burgers and said they too wouldn t return but my wife had the turkey burger and said it was good.

I had heard mixed messages about this place prior to visiting. Obviously everyone has different opinions and i don't usually eat fast food but decided to give it a try.
Employees were friendly. Yet the food was not impressive. Burger was very thin and not fulfilling at all, more like a junior burger. My sweet potato fries, the couple i received, weren't fresh at all so I was only able to eat a couple of those.
Walking away from a restaurant still hungry is never a good thing and it doesn't take much to fill me up so that says something. Very disappointing meal.

This place has really gone down hill, empty restaurant but full of workers and fries were cold , burger made sloppy with too much salt. Quite disappointing. Regret leaving a tip. Unproffesional staff.

I just LOVE their Colorado burger. The pic is the double. Sad that the Colorado is only available for limited times. Would buy it every time!

This location has really gone downhill. Management seems to not know what is going on. The two lady employees are awesome and nice (forgive me for not knowing their names). NEW UPDATE: they no longer serve petal sauce.... Fail still one star for this even though they made some changes.

My order was simple. A cheeseburger with lettuce bacon an onion with french fries and a soda. What I got was a cheeseburger with lettuce bacon and sliced tomato. I don't think I'm going back because these people can't follow directions.

Got a chicken sandwich (I know my bad) ... it's horrible super thin and expands way outside the bun. Came in during peak hours and they appear to be short staffed. 10-15 min in line same amount of time after that to recieve food. Staff was super friendly and restraunt was clean. Will never come back though.

Bathroom was kind of clean but had a lot of water and was lacking a super clean scrub. The toilet paper was arranged awkwardly and that side was kind of cluttered. Overall not bad but could use some work

Good burgers. Love the smashburger fries. Think the burgers have gotten smaller in the last couple of years though.

They serve medium rare with blood dripping funny no sign for this.

Greatest burger I ever have. Juicy meat, lot of veggies, good taste... The grilled chicken tastes great. Staffs are nice and helpful.

Ordered a burger SPECIFICALLY with a gluten free bun (paid $2 extra for it) and no cheese. The burger I received had cheese and a standard bun. When I talked to the manager, they were quite rude and only agreed to replace the burger itself and I had to pay an additional $2 for the gluten-free bun I had originally paid for. So I ended up paying for TWO gluten-free buns but only received the one. The first burger I had to throw away because I m allergic to gluten and dairy (casein).

Smash Pass has been one of the most epic purchases of my life! A burger a day! Its seriously the best food pass I have ever bought. Smash burger never gets old.

I tell you there's only one, and that one is Smashburger.

Decent burger with terrible service. We went in and ordered food to go. The food got put into bags and sat on the counter for 30 minutes while we just stared at it. We asked about our order and received no help.

I like their hamburgers do they got good food good people quick and easy I'll be going back

The food was delicious, but the veggie fries were a little too greasy and I couldn't find a fork. Besides that it was great quality food!

I use to love Smashburger, but their burgers can become pretty one-note after a while and there are so many other premium burger places downtown. So come for the novelty every once in a while.

I work downtown so going out to get lunch can be a bit timely. Instead my whole office placed an order 3 hrs ahead of the time we were going to pickup the meals. Not only was the food cold, and had a hair in it, but it was the completely wrong order. My coworker came back to the office(after going to pickup) and realized it was indeed the wrong order and when we called this location to make them aware, the woman who answered the phone was extremely rude and not helpful at all with resolving this situation. She told us she would "try" to make us a priority as if we were too difficult to ask for our correct lunch order, and that it would be another 20 mins. It is now 4 hrs after we placed the order and we are STARVING still without our food and without them doing anything to remedy this terrible customer service experience. NEVER GO HERE! We as an office and individuals will NEVER be going, recommending or ordering from this location ever again.

The service was good, but too much profanity from the workers. I heard the f word from the grill more than 3 times and I had my 11 year old with me.

Awesome place to hang out and get some amazing delishious Burger and fries. Awesome awesome place I love eating there.

You would think if you ordered 10 burgers and requested they write the type of burger on the outside would be common curtesy from a restaurant. Now we re open everyone s food trying to figure out what each one is.

Burgers, mmm, super satisfying. A preferred evening place. The service here is better than most.
