Nice little burger joint downtown. Can be crowded right around noon, so order ahead- their online ordering is pretty slick - or go at 11 when there is no line.

Service was great, place was clean, was just super underwhelmed by the burger.

So this is the second time I come to Smashburger. The first time I came, amazing customer service. The second time I came, the customer service was horrible. The employee that took my order was very rude. Her name is Dana. When she brought us our food she was extremely rude. I was having a coversation with my friend and she interrupted us. She really needs to get her attitude on check.

Burgers, yeah, delicious. service is always timely even when they have a full house. prices that are reasonable.

My friend and I decided to stop in for a burger and a classic crispy chicken sandwich. First issue was that young lady taking our order didn't put his order in correctly and he got a classic turkey burger instead. I ordered the BBQ brisket burger and I'm pretty sure I got a turkey burger too even though my order was put in the computer correctly. The staff was nice except for the girl that got my ranch for me. All in all I will not be eating at another Smashburger anytime soon.I didn't decide just to eat the food because I'm hungry but was not at all satisfied by it.

Great burgers and delicious fries. The stairs going down as soon as you enter make it feel like you are eating in a basement, so I would recommend eating outside at thier patio tables that are right on the 16th street mall. Quick service was a plus and it has sort of a diner feel to it as you can see the cooks preparing your food behind third tall counter.

The empty restaurant should have been our first clue, but it was still a little early for dinner, so we ordered. Two us had black bean burgers, and one had a burger. The black bean burgers were black bean mush. The burger was very greasy. The lettuce was old and black at the edges. Yuck.
The fries were hot and crisp, though. I really can't recommend this place unless you are starving and there is no other option. Even then, just order the fries.

The girl with the curly hair made it a great first time experience it was my first time coming in and definetly won't be my last

The younger lady was nice and helpful but the older lady was a total Karen.

Lady behind the counter had a serious attitude messed up the whole order.. and then acted like she didn't speak English

Gave it 2 stars because the employees and atmosphere was good but when I got my food my burger was burnt it was gross

The male manager I believe with short black hair and blue button up on was amazing! had a confusion and he took care of it.

Restaurant smelled like cleaning products, staff were mean, and lines were long. Out of the 7 times I've visited, 4 times they got my order completely wrong and 2 times my order was switched with someone else's. Had to go to the hospital twice because they put cheese on my burger. Manager flat out refused to do replace the burger or do anything about it claiming it was my fault that I ate the burger without looking through it to make sure there was no cheese. Taking legal action. DO NOT EAT HERE.

They have good fries and good burger, but the burgers aren't as big as you'd expect. They a little meal size burger, but they're really good if you just want to buy one for lunch.

For the money I think that Smashburger is one of the better fast casual chains around. This Smashburger used to have terrible wait times but they've really turned that around. It's as good if not better than any other Smashburger I've visited.

Love getting a milkshake here and a burger, with my husband and daughters. We go every Sunday after church. What a treat!

Freshly cooked tots are splendid. Burgers are definitely high quality for fast food. They re open late, so great for a snack after a few weekend drinks!

It was a quick and cool little business luncheon in Denver. Food was hot and service was friendly.

Burger was made with the wrong cheese, and when I asked them to remake it instead of remaking a new burger they try to scrape the cheese off, and handed back the burger with mayo and ketchup all over the paper....

Friendly staff and great food, orders come out in a reasonable amount of time during lunch rush. Not much seating space but you can usually find a table as most folks get their orders to go.

1st time there. Had breakfast burger n tots. The burger was salty as if the grill wasnt cleaned or something. Loved the tots nice and crispy.

Staff was friendly, wait was a little longer, but it was peak hours. Fries were ok, burger was pretty good. I had it to go and had to walk back to a hotel, so it likely lost some quality over time. Even though it wasn't hot it was still a good tasting burger.

Pretty good burgers. They serve the skinny straw fries as well. Self serve fountain drinks. They did not have free WiFi.

Burgers are not the best but for the price they are excellent

Wanted an Arizona Burger, don't have them in Colorado. Bummed.

Shake was about half as big as you get in Arizona.

Colorado doesn't do the phone number at the register for rewards.

The Colorado burger I ordered was fine, but obviously I much prefer Smashburger in Arizona. Sorry!

It was very good would come more often but I live in another state 10/10

Love the healthy options like chicken burgers Whit multiple grain buns and a side of Brussels sprouts. Don't worry they still have all the traditional burgers and shakes as well.

Slow service. Burgers have definitely reduced in size over the last few years. Disappointed.

Not the best burger. We stopped at Smashburger hoping to have a burger. Restaurant is causal and clean, the staff is kind, but the food was disappointing at least the burger was. It was not good and it wasn't juicy. The Fries were incredible and I had to get another bowl. When we got to our hotel, all of our stomachs were hurting and we got Diarrhea Sorry, To much information but had to be Honest. Won't be coming to Smashburger soon. If you want the best burger and have the chance go to Fat Ronnie's, Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. The Island is incredible and it's amazing, and food and the activities are indescribable.

It s always crowded and not very clean. I was however disappointed that for the price the burgers seem to be made for the kids menu... they remind me of the elementary school lunches when they had burgers... not good. You re better off choosing a different burger place.

I was joyfully ready to make my order when the employee asked who was next. I then repeated my order and then he asked again who was next. I felt disrespected and annoyed. The employee then looked at me dirty. I felt uncomfortable and I really never want to come back again. The employee's name is Javier.

Love their chipotle Baja chicken sandwich. The shakes are my favorite especially since they use Haagen daaz ice cream to make them. Highly recommended

Decent burgers, good fries. Very good sweet potato fries. The burgers are not huge--1/3 pound--which is a reasonable size, but if you want supersize portions, go elsewhere. Staff is pretty friendly for a fast food joint. Outdoor seating is nice for most of the year. Pretty packed at noon, weekdays, but rarely a wait. Great option for take-away food.

Food and service was amazing. Got my food within 90 seconds. Literally.

Other than the being absolutely horrible and not what I expected , the customer service is pure trash. My friends and I greatfully came to spend our money here and when "Danna" took our order, she gave us the most nastiest attitude ever. If you don't like your job please quit. Also, as she dropped off our food at the table she mumbled something under her breath for no reason. I know this is not the first time. Please fire her asap

Meat was burnt to a black crisp. Walked all the way home, then all the way back to get a refund. When I called before coming back the manager hung up on me, funny because once I got there in his face he wasn't acting so hard anymore. Worst staff I've ever encountered in an establishment. Everyone is young and doesn't give AF. Many better choices along 16th.

Where's my burger? How does it take 40 minutes to cook a burger? Worst management experience I've seen in a long time. Is there a manager here??? Hire more people!!!

The burgers are really good. I ordered a black bean pattie this visit and was surprised at the flavor.

I Literally never do this because I'm in the service industry. Worst experience at any burger place I've had. McDonald's does a better job and I don't like them. 20 minutes to get the shake I ordered then they screwed up my burger didn't even melt the cheese and i heard the burger dude say "boo hoo just take it off" I've had bad service before but this takes the cake. If there was a zero star thats what this would be.

Burgers and the setting at this place is super good. Really nothing but good experiences here. Prices are decent for the quality.

Employees are very nice. I went there many different times in the last three years. Even though, staff changes, but so far, I always get good help from the employees.

Fast and friendly. Good food. Extras like caramelized onions and spinach no extra charge. Smashfries are SO good!

Staff was rude, inattentive, and obviously did not want to be working there at this time when i ordered a late lunch.

First off the feel is like being in a dungeon. Outside is nice but the seats and tables are dirty. Had to clean them myself. Several drinks were out. And it took them 20 minutes to replace them. By this time I m done and walking out. Very bad service with a smile. The burgers are not exceptional. The bacon wasn t cooked all the way. This is the first and last time I ll ever eat at a smash burger. I would be embarrassed to have my name associated with this company. When they finally did replenish the drinks, they didn t even come and tell me. This is among the top 10 worst places I have ever been.

Great food, smashfries and milkshakes are the bomb!

We have a running joke in our group anytime some mentions going to Smashburger. If there is more than one person in line, the wait is too long.
Today they upped the ante on bad service, four employees standing around looking at us standing at the counter. 5 minutes later, with no one stepping up to take our order we just had to walk out.

Each time the menu, and the size of the burgers get smaller and smaller. Small food, limited choices, high prices, and BAD service.

Hope the next restaurant that takes that spot is better.

Asked how much to get a triple smash with bacon the lady said we dont sell triple bacon.. I asked if I could get a triple add bacon she said yes got my burger it had no bacon on it asked cashier about it she started arguing with me that I didnt order bacon will not be returning to smashburger

Great meal! Very accommodating to specific dietary restrictions and polite service. Over all above average as we were greeted immediately and the counter server was very attentive to any questions. No extras as far as personal connection or "wow" factor, but it's a chain restaurant and it seemed like a high school/college job for the girl working so I can't blame them for that. Really great for what it is.

Was delighted to find brussel sprouts on the menu and they were cooked perfectly. We ordered the Spicy Jalapeno Baja burger and the Smoked Bacon Brisket Burger, a limited time offering. We also had sweet potatoe fries and the brussel sprouts mentioned earlier. Everything was delicious. I take my burger no bun no cheese so the party flavor really matters, and these guys nailed it.

Didn't find the physical environment to be sufficiently hospitable. [goes to lift toilet seat; the whole thing falls off the toilet smh]

Good location in downtown Denver. Atmosphere and decor are nothing special. Service is good and the employees are really nice and helpful. Menu is good, kind of pricey though. Taste is above average but nothing to boast about. Overall, an above average burger joint, recommended if you're in Denver and looking for a quick bite.

I never leave reviews, but the experience was so bad I had to share. Wasn't very busy but service was really slow. Then when I actually got my burger (ordered the truffle mushroom burger), patty was a little cold and mushrooms were uncooked. I mentioned it, and they took it away to cook the mushrooms. Mushrooms came back partially cooked, but the patty was even colder now... Pretty awful experience.

Worst time ever there.. wait 25mins for a shake!
people were getting their burgers and fries before i even got a shake and they came after me. needles to say i was extremely disappointed in the way the shake tasted... how do you mess that up?!

This location is everything you would expect from Smashburger. It seems thi be well staffed and well managed. I thought the burger patty was a bit dry on my last visit but it did taste good and the tots were excellent. I do like that the staff makes an effort to get customers what they want.

Store was dirty, service was terrible, food was burnt and gross. They were blasting music from the kitchen. It was expensive and awful. The staff was really unprofessional. Floors were so greasy it was slippery from the stairs to the restroom. Terrible experience.

Good burgers, new menu in Colorado is a step back. Location on 16th is too small and service too slow.

Not as good as it used to be. Poor service food took forever. We all ordered on a single ticket and came out at different times. Many of us were done eating when the last burger came out
