WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. This place is in need of se...

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. This place is in need of serious help. At least half of the rides are shut down. Most of the "restaurants" were shut down. Every restroom we went into was disgusting. Lots of toilets didn't even have toilet seats!! Most stalls were out of toilet paper and the floors were covered in a mixture of water and toilet paper. The entire park smelled like a porta potty. So gross!! Employees were not only rude but were too busy talking to one another to do their jobs. Waited 2 1/2 hours for food in a building without AC...completely unacceptable. Most Coke stations were even out of ice. HOW DOES THIS EVEN HAPPEN??? We didn't experience any AC throughout the park, which is pretty dangerous with the extreme temperatures here. Maybe they were broken like everything else in this "theme park". We also purchased the play book for $20 each that claims to be worth $50. It is not. Do not fall for the scam. Most of the games are not even available to play. We purchased the book at 6:45, unaware the place closed at 7 and no one felt it was appropriate to explain to us the park closes at 7 and you wont be able to use them. Went to guest relations to get a refund for the 2 books, but they weren't willing to help in any way at all and simply did not care. This was the worst day of our vacation. With the cost of this place and everything inside, it should be much better than this. I have never been so disappointed. I don't know how this place is still open. Six Flags of Georgia should be shut down. It's that bad. Don't waist your hard earned money at this dump. WORST DAY EVER

It has been many years since I have been to this location. It was by far the worst it has ever been. There were 2hr wait times on rides, teenagers and adults fighting screaming and cussing, customer service horrible, food was extremely expensive and getting refills for $30 cups had at least a 30min wait. There should be a limit on how many poeple are let into the park. There was only one bus working to get people back to their vehicles and we waited close to an hr to get on and right as we were next in line a family of 8 came to the front behind the gate line with a handicapped child, I have no problem with letting a handicapped child and another go with her in front of the line but 8 other people, that's just straight up taking advantage of the system and the security guard let them all go. Good thing we bought one ticket, we won't return. I have 2 stars because my 6yr old loved the mine train and the sky buckets.

Longest lines for EVERYTHING and the staff was completely horrible! I went to order french fries and a funnel cake that literally took a 30 minute wait and to top it off they ended up forgetting my order of fries and at that point I requested a refund because I was not waiting another half hour for something as simple as fries!!!Everyone in line was mad and bothered with the staff(they forgot multiple orders) it was ridiculous. Me and my husband did not get to ride anything due to long lines. The only thing fun was Hurricane Harbor which was fun. Flash pass was a rip off, pay $45 to get a Regular flash pass that does not change your wait time whatsoever.....SO WHATS THE DAMN POINT!?!?!? Everything was overpriced and due to a little rain they closed the park at 630 instead of 10pm and it stopped raining as we were walking out the park! Oh and the map was worthless we were lost for the most part. Will not be returning to six flags only to its water parks and ONLY ON MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAYS.

Horrible! Did not get my monies work at all. There were too many rides that were closed, extremely too tight on wearing a mask and constantly reminded of social distancing. However, lines were crammed and long. Greed and profits were the only goal.

Crowds are minimal right now due to the Covid stuff so ride line time is very short. Masks must be worn, but not super strict. Season passes are at EXTREMELY LOW PRICES! Other than the heat..? Good times!!

Visited Six Flags for the first time in about 4-ye...

Visited Six Flags for the first time in about 4-years recently, and it was a great experience! We went on a Saturday and surprisingly, the lines for many of the rides we went on were quite short. We had very little wait times which helped us pack more excitement into our day.

The reason that I am giving only 4-stars, is every experience I had with a snack cart was extremely slow. It took me almost 15 minutes of waiting line to refill my drink (I was behind ~5 people). I also thought about getting a funnel cake before leaving, but after waiting in line (behind 2 families) for nearly 25 minutes, I decided I didn't need the treat.

The park is nice, and has plenty of things to do, but the lines for food need a little attention. Overall, it was a great time, and with my season pass I will totally go back!

I had the unfortunate incident of my cell phone falling out of my pocket on the Superman ride. I was told by Lost and Found that I have to wait for closing when the employees make a sweep of lost items on property. Later on I was told that I'd get a call on another phone # tomorrow on the status of the lost phone. Of course no sympathy or callback after making two phone calls today.
The employees real don't care. God forbid if they lost something.

I didn't like the immature people running the ride...

I didn't like the immature people running the rides. Didn't like the pushy people. The Scream machine almost broken my neck. I needed a chiropractor after riding that worn out rattle trap. The Ga Inferno Was really fun. And so was the Twisted cyclone. The log ride was out of order. Why are there no water fountians? You have to pay $18 a cup. Then you have a cup to keep up with all day. We stood in line for water more than for the rides. The staff is very unprofessional.

I know six flags is tempting! BUT NO. ITS NOT WORTH IT!!!! The fast pass is an extra fee which is expected. HOWEVER, the company who does the pass is different than six flags. So the two do not communicate. We went in to buy a membership and the employees could not answer simple questions about what the membership includes. They also could not answer questions about the fast pass even tho you can buy it there but it s a separate than six flags company . So we decided on a day pass with gold fast pass. We went to the fast pass building which is not near the entry and they do not tell you where it s located. We get to the fast pass and they would only give us one watch (the watch is the fast pass). We got THREE fast passes. So my mom who didn t want to do the rollercoasters but wanted to do the other rides couldn t get her own fast pass. Which happened because the membership people could not answer our questions. We said fine. We got in a line for a coaster. We got to the employee who scans the watch and asked if they showed us how to use it. We said no, so he kinda showed us how. The fast pass makes no sense how it works, which is a different story. We were then talking with the employee for 15 mins while we were in line. Comes to find out the seat was broken for one out of the two Rotating coasters so we were waiting there for double the time because they didn t put a sign up that it would be longer for that seat. We finally sat down. And I put my purse in the cubby that they have. They told me I couldn t put my purse there. And made us get off the ride. While other women had a fanny pack around there waist which wasn t allowed . BUT they have holders for the reusable plastic drinks that people can put to the side in the same location as the cubby s. And I couldn t put the purse to the side. And said we have to purchase a locker. Through all the people we talked to while buying tickets at two locations, at the fast pass, and the employee at the coaster, no one said ANYTHING. At this point we had been there for ONE hour. I got managers and got the fast pass refunded. And tickets for another time because they don t do refunds. From the very start to the very end it was a horrible experience. We don t even have paperwork saying we will get tickets for another time, so who knows if we will. It was my birthday and it was totally ruined. Horrible customer service. While we were talking to a manger there were also two other groups of people who were having problems with there service and memberships. They upgraded there membership pass but were being charged for two memberships instead of just one. With how many people were having problems is horrible. I know this is the only amusement park in Atlanta. But it s a horrible experience. Not just for us but for multiple people which should not be happening.

Hated it. The extra busy day and the flash passes hogging the rides made riding anything without one impossible. Wait times were double the quoted times. Rides would be great if you could actually get on them.

I enjoy this park. Lots of good coasters. Has the only RMC and stand-up coasters I have actually liked. All the other coasters are good, too. Park is clean and staff is (95%) friendly.
Others have said this, but getting your cup refilled can be a bit of a burden.

The park is nice and large so it packs out and it doesn't seem to be to be over populated the wait times for the rides weren't long and there were plenty of seating for those who dont want to do the rides I also like that they have the options on the cups to be able to get free refills the staff was also. Sooooooooooo, I went to Six Flags for the first time in over 5 years due to moving back after being away. I bought the Diamond Elite Membership (a new program that's supposed to be the best of everything), Deluxe Dining, and this includes preferred parking..
So when I arrive (5:30 pm) I go to park in the preferred parking that has numerous parking spaces and the guy says sorry you can't park.. I ask why and he says that I should've reserved it 24 hours ago.. I say ghy there are over 20 open spaces.. He replies, "not my problem". SMDH, I park over in the Twix 1 area. Get to the park and go to the "special" Diamond Elite Membership entrance They have one person taking pictures and one security screener. Ridiculously hot, no AC, or fan when I make it around the corner three people behind the counter supposed to be passing out cups, lanyards, etc.. are sitting down shooting the breeze about snapchat, and other employees. I handed the young lady my member card asking politely for my lanyard, and member cup... Geez you would've thought I asked for their paycheck.. Rolled their eyes and threw the cup on the counter almost rolling off the counter to the floor. She dropped my card on the counter (wouldn't hand it to me) no lanyard. After standing there for a second kind of awkwardly. She said said, WHAT??! I replied ummmmmmm my lanyard please, no response she just threw it on the counter. Defintely not the service I received in the past here of course they didn't have this diamond elite program in place either. I enter the park and start to ride. I finally get to Goliath and the single rider line is a joke, I wait there for ever with no movement. I go back to the regular spot and actually got on. Goliath is a great ride with big thrills. Upon exiting the ride there's about 12 kids going back and fourth in and out of exit gate that are just lingering. Making bullying comments to the young staff about letting them on the ride.. Huge safety hazard, the walking down the ramp there is vomit on the concrete in numerous areas. I tell the young ladies at the photo booth and Goliath store. I rode Goliath later before I left to see the same thing sadly.. Rode Batman, Joker, Goliath again, Mind Bender. Park wasn't clean lots of rubbish and unorganized for such a large amusement corporation. Sadly some kids pick a fight with some other kid in a pink hooded sweatshirt yelling fu$&ing fa@@ot.. Not cool, and the whole left side of the park goes wild from Gotham to the Georgia Scorcher / front gate. Security does absolutely nothing with myself and countless others pointing out the young man who started it all.. Honestly I'd cancel my membership if given the opportunity /option. Not based on the kids, but the staff, park, and customer no service.

It was disappointing. I have been to other six flags and it was always awesome! But this one was something else. Very very dirty. As if the park hadn't been cleaned in years. The carnival games have prizes that are mostly trash. The rides were not the best either. I have never been so disappointed with a theme park and I will not be returning. Do not recommend.

Let me Just say don't go on the weekend. I went on a Saturday on a band trip and I only got too ride 2 rides and was there the whole day. Warning Don't bring metal filming equipment such as Selfie Sticks. They confiscate them for good because they could be used as a potential weapon. They also confiscate the snacks you bring in the park. And with any theme park the food or gift shop prices are outrages. I'm pretty sure the metal thing goes for all 6 Flags Parks.

In line for ride 1, 40 minutes, then told to exit due to technical difficulties. Ride 2 good. In line for ride 3, 10 minutes, told to exit - technical difficulties. Ride 4, you guessed it. My daughter got on the swings, bar across her lap, then told to exit due to technical difficulties. Gondola closed too. If I hadn't purchased a season pass, I'd have asked for my money back.

Growing up at six flags i never had a bad experience. Ive came atleast 4 times a year for past 20 years. Today they had only a few refil stations open and i stood in line a hour and a half for something to drink. Half the drink stations that i did get to had no drinks at all. Nothing but water.

Drove 6 hours for Frightfest. Made reservations the earliest reservations at 6 as they closed at 11pm and we only got to ride 3 rides as the wait times were HOURS ! Not worth the drive or money . I was also disappoined with the food prices it was 19.54 for a chicken finger basket and a coke .I will not be coming back . My family left very disappointed.

Went here on the 4th of july with my family. Very bad experience. Spent almost 6 hours in the parking lot. Apparently someone tried to remove our belt off the car in their parking lot. We were assisted by two different bystanders who offered to help and i hope they get blessed. But was never approached by a 6 flags worker. All they did was look and ride by us. When security finally came to see what happen. It was 330am in the morning and we already had been sitting there waiting for roadside assistance. We asked the guard about if they can have someone look at the cameras they stated there were none. When you can clearly see 4 cameras sitting on the stairs two which were facing the actual parking lot. Not blaming them but just wanted to put that out there. That it shouldnt take 5 hours or more to patrol your parking lot to see a family sitting outside waiting for help. Really makes me not wanna go to 6 flags anymore.

Awesome place. The membership is plan ( I purchase the Platinum with the deluxe meal plan) makes it so affordable for me to take my family of six. We go every weekend. The meal plan gives us lunch, dinner and a snack, and I love watching the register ring down to zero. The membership paid for itself the first time we got lunch. The unlimited drink cups are amazing too.

The quality of the park compared to other parks was just okay, but overall very surprised with the park. As a coaster enthusiast, the coaster collection was actually really strong and I really did have a good time here. You don't need to spend the entire day here, as my family and I saw a show, rode all of the coasters (some multiple times), and took an ice cream break all in less than a day.

I haven't attend what once was and still is my favorite park. Y'all security was on point, the ride coordinators was awesome. I enjoyed my time. Haven't been there in 20+years. The kids sent me down memory lane.

I've been to six flags many times before purchasing the platinum membership and it was an ok experience but with the membership its AMAZING ! It comes with discounts , free members only cup ( and unlimited refills) I definitively recommend it if you plan on coming here a good amount of times VS buying a daily ticket because its wayyy cheaper. Only reason I took off a star is because it can be a bit annoying getting on some of the rides due to them forcing you to buy a locker for your items for ONE RIDE , even if its a fanny pack , get rid of that rule and its FIVES ACROSS THE BOARD !

Super fun amusement park! My kids loved it and it was a great place for the whole family. The only dissatisfaction was the lack of good informational signs. We waited in a long line to get our passes we got online only to find out that was the wrong line. We also couldn't figure out which lane to use at the entrance going with a stroller. We ended up going through the handicap lane which was longer but there were other families with strollers going through the regular lanes faster. If they have better signs, We could have saved lots of wasted time!

So overrated!!! Long lines, expensive food, people in Guest relations very rude and only open one line in 90 degree weather smh with no where to cool off for kids or elderly while standing in the hour long line. Supervisor is young and rude. Seems as if they only higher teenagers who are rude or just don t know what to do. Rides are always shutting down and concessions closed. I recommend saving your money and going elsewhere. I paid for season passes and meal plans and still end up paying due to card malfunction.

Kind of disorganized in the way they monitor the lines and direct people. Bunch of people kept jumping us. Getting food was choas at dee-Jay's dinner and not good at all. Rides were key and we enjoyed the flash pass gold for that. They were kind of expensive but definitely worth it if you want to stand in line for a couple of minutes compared to 60 minutes or more.

They NEED more drink refill stations for all of the marketing they are doing for purchasing the "best value" cup that has unlimited refills all season long. You spend- NO JOKE- about 20 minutes waiting in line for a refill because they do not have SEPARATE lines for JUST refills. PLEASE think this through...I heard the entire line complaining of this. PLEASE INSTALL MORE REFILL STATIONS.

This place has some brutal roller coasters!!! Unfortunately for us we went during Halloween weekend and the waiting in line was incredible. There was no way we could go on even half the rides because of the ridiculously long lines. Going on a non Holiday would make more sense. Be prepared to do some serious walking!

The park does not have an allergen menu. If you have a peanut/gluten allergy you may be okay but any other allergy and do not plan on eating anything. The staff were very slow and unwilling to help. I brought up the fact that an allergy menu is required by law and was effectively blown off. Aside from that, the park is dirty and very rundown. Everything is unreasonably over priced. A bottle of water costs nearly $6. Overall bad experience and the employees seemed to be underpaid and uncaring. Not worth the money.

Went for fright fest on Oct 26th it wasn't worth the trip hardly any actors and had to pay extra for the haunted house's, not to mention bought all day drink cup only to find just about every vendor wasn't open or "the drink machine was down" I told them they should put up a sign saying it was down so people wouldn't wait in line for so long and I was told we can't put up signs like that....... so it's just cool I waited 20 min in line just to hear they can't fill my 20 dollar all day drink cup.

If I could give less than one star right now I would. I d love to know why I enter the park to find that 70% of it is closed off until almost an hour after opening, and then the food vendors who have posted opening times of 11:30 are just barely opening and starting prep at that time... not sure where we learned to get away with such poor practices, but I m far from pleased considering the prices for everything have doubled since the last time I came in 2015.
Update: it s 1140 and the only place I ve found that is open has an absurd wait because their food isn t prepped yet and we had to ask them to turn their drink machines on.

Love the rides but customer service was horrible. I can understand that it s busy and there will always be lines for anything. I will always understand that but what I won t understand is when I wait in line 30 minutes for a refillable drink and have the cashier rude because it s her time to go to break. I had just gotten there and the booth in the front by customer relations had a girl with a name tag QI China who was very rude and liked to roll her eyes. This wasn t the only time the workers were rude, just by far the most annoying. Love the rides so much, just wish the customer service was better.

It's a good park. We just had crazy long lines, it took over an hour to get in. You don't expect that when you have a platinum membership. I felt bad for those who had to buy tickets to get in as well. Between ride lines, entrance lines, and food lines, we only got three rides in and we were there for eight hours.
