Personally Im not a big fan of amusement parks, but I do bend and bring the kids once a year. For me, if most of the food just tasted more like the way it looks on the food pictures, I could have a blast. But that's not the case so I let them fill up on cotton candy, and half bake bread rolled in powdered sugar. While I grub on my last night dinner leftovers sack food.

I am 5'7 and I am a size US 16, and I wear an XL shirt size. I've been calorie counting for months and I'm currently down 4 pant sizes. So when I was told I was too big to ride one of the rides I was disappointed. So we tried Goliath and the bar locked but I guess not enough for me to ride, it's fine, whatever, JUST TELL ME, but when the ride workers started calling other workers over and they started trying to slam the bar into me with their bodies, I was NOT okay. Not only did that actually hurt me but it humiliated me in front of hundreds of people. It caused a HUGE scene and delayed the ride for at least 5 minutes. So by the time I was finally told to get off the ride i was ready to leave. We had been in the park for maybe an hour before we left. Didn't ride anything, didn't do anything. And I felt too humiliated to even think to ask for my money back. I doubt they would even consider it any ways.

Great place as long as your kids are big enough to get on the rides. Short lines when we were there but it was still early in the season. Wave pool was fun but they need more rafts for single riders on the slides.

Great park, we have a blast here when the weather is cooler. BUT, in this Georgia heat, I saw many people pass out #1 because there is nowhere near enough shade, #2 there is nowhere near enough water available. Sure there are the refill stations , well, those end up with lines sometimes 2 hours long, straight in the sun, and then by the time you get to your turn the water is gone. They need to take a cue from the Atlanta Zoo and have the water breeze fans, or just anything to keep guests cool, and healthy, passing out from heat isn t fun.

I went here with some family members. Everyone enjoyed themselves. If you like roller coasters, they had some big ones. There were souvenir cups that you could purchase for different dollar amounts. You can get unlimited drink refills at "refill stations". This is such a good idea. There is a handle on the cup which makes it easier to carry. You can also purchase a sleeve type thing with a strap to carry on your shoulder or around your neck. There were times when they ran out of ice or drinks.

A second home for everyone addicted to roller coasters.
More than ten thrilling rides, plus several minor attractions for young and old.
If you plan to visit the park in summer, bring with you the swimsuit and take a look of the Hurricane Harbour water rides.

The only recommendation, as always in a Six Flags park, is to consider to buy also a food/beverage extra package in order to save money for the meals. The regular price of the food in the restaurant and kiosks inside the park, isn't very cheap.

Went for our niece's birthday celebration. We went on a Tuesday, so the park wasn't too crowded. Many of the restaurants were not open, which limited the food choices we had. The shows we watched were very entertaining Overall all the kids and adults enjoyed the experience.

We visited Six Flags Over Georgia on October 28, 2018 and me and my family already got our new season passes that let you visit till the end of 2018 and all of 2019; free parking was also included! How AMAZING is that? This is the 3rd time in our lives that we got season passes and we still have AMAZING experiences! I totally recommend Six Flags Over Georgia as being a fun and family friendly place to visit in Georgia!

Never had an issue! Employees were lovely! Lines a little longer wait due to spacing everyone out. But all in all a great way to spend the day. Our only complaint was being many times before we have always packed a lunch. Took a break halfway thru the day to go to the car, rest and eat. Not sure if covid related or its new policy.... You are not allowed to leave to go to your car and come back. Upsetting to say the least and I feel six flags should be allowing families to save money where they can (hence bringing your own lunch) the fact that they are collecting more money (cause who's gonna be staying all day without eating?) Is a shame. They dropped the daily tickets to half price... But came back for you in the long run. Just distasteful in my opinion

We love Six Flags. There are a lot of reviews about staff being rude, but honestly most of the employees I have interacted with were very polite. My season pass was less than $100, and I get tons of coupons to take a friend for free, or for $20 or $15. The water park is included in the price of admission, and while it is small, it has something for all ages. Younger children especially enjoy the wave pool bc it is very shallow. And the Tsunami Surge water slide is no joke. I recommend downloading the app to get an accurate list of hours, bc they are different all the time. Note that they allow you to bring bottled water into the park, so load up and rent a locker when you get there. You won't be able to bring your purses and backpacks onto a lot of rides. Also, Panda Express usually doesn't have a long line, and the food is better than other places in the park. They don't accept dining passes. Maybe why they aren't ever crowded. If you plan accordingly, and have a positive attitude, you will always have an excellent time.

Always so much to go to six flags, my only complaint about six flags is... Actually I don't have one. There seasonal themes are always a joy to participate in. And there year round shows are also an enjoyable thing that six flags does year around. Even though their roller coasters are seasonal, they don't break down as often and allows customers to have more riding time. Also, there food are overpriced and should be lowered for the quality food that it is. Overall it is a great experience that everyone should participate

Been a pass holder for 7 years. Yesterday security came up to my 13 year old and forcibly took off her red bandana she was using to keep her hair up with, accusing her of sporting gang colors! Would not let me put it in a bag, was to be thrown away. Never knew they had a gang problem and addressing it with YOUNG girls. No more 4 or more season passes here!

Came all the way from Michigan to visit the park. On my way in I noticed a young man with 2 children trying to come back in because he lost his keys. The staff were very rude, disrespectful, and had no compassion! Wouldn t even let him buy the babies water! This is NOT the kind of customer service that s acceptable, appreciated, or paid for!!! Extremely disappointing and upsetting!! I m mad I gave you 1 star just to comment!

The rides are amazing. I went there not too long ago and there was a fire. The fire was near the battle for metropolis ride. The snack hut had caught fire. The whole roof was burning. Smoke covered almost half the park. They evacuated us quickly though. They know what they're doing. The evacuated us from that side of the park and we were not allowed back in there until the knew for a fact that it was safe. Six flags has wonderful rides. If you go I suggest riding the ride goliath in the front seat. Their bathrooms are pretty bad though. Some of the employees are really rude too! Don't bring selfie sticks by the way.

This is the Walmart of theme parks. I visited on ...

This is the Walmart of theme parks. I visited on July 3rd - it was a Wednesday. We got to the park at lunch time, so we ate lunch as soon as we got in. The food was mediocre at the burger place where we ate. Half of the napkin holders were empty. It was hard to find ketchup packets. When we went to the water park area at around 3pm, they had the wave pool emptied out for what looked like an emergency rescue. However, once they had the girl out of the pool, she stood up and walked out with the lifeguards. My sister pointed out that she was wearing the same red shorts the lifeguards were and a red shirt, and that it was probably a drill. They let everyone back in the pool about 15 minutes later and announced that the water park would be closing at 5pm. Then at 4pm they announced that the wave pool would be closed for the next hour. The only other thing they had in that area was slides (no lazy river or regular pool), so if you were just looking to be in the water, you were out of luck. After the pool, I wanted a cinnamon pretzel with frosting. I went to the snack bar next to the wave pool and stood in line. When I got to the counter, I placed my order and was told, "I'm only doing beer refills at this register," but there was no sign to that effect. I went to the next line, stood in line AGAIN, and placed my order at the counter only to be told, "sorry, we don't have any cinnamon pretzels." I went to the little snack bar on the way out of the water park and placed the same order. She told me that, "I don't have any frosting and our pretzels are burnt so you probably won't want it." UGH Later in the park I went to another stand and the first person I approached told me they were only doing drinks at that register (again no sign, you had to stand in line and find out when it was your turn). The next window finally sold me a pretzel, and I have to say it was a really good pretzel, but MAN! For the same price as Dollywood, I would say do the drive and go there, unless you enjoy the Walmart experience.

First six flags I ve been to and I am not going to...

First six flags I ve been to and I am not going to one any time soon. First of all the parking, you have to pay $25 to park on the premises - look for a close by parking lot and if it is too far to walk you re still cheaper with an Uber. The tickets were $75 per person. We were told we can go in with this ticket until the end of the season, we said we don t need it and they just said because it is the same price as a one day ticket. So instead of offering it to a lower price they sell you a one day ticket for $75 regardless if you need it or not. That food and drinks are more expensive at any type of fun stuff is known but once you have to pay $5 for a bottle of water it gets ridiculous. Also, if you go outside, you cannot bring any food or drinks back inside so be aware that if you go outside with the water you just bought inside, you have to either drink it or through it away. On top of that, half of the rides were closed and on one ride people got stuck in one and they had to call technical support to get them out. It also seems like when you know somebody that works at the rides they let you jump in the back so you don t have to wait like everybody else in line. You can clearly tell the southern laziness that is going on there. It took them about 15 minutes for 5 people to get on a ride and get them ready, you want to get out before it even started so bad.

We went as a family yesterday. The employees are very rude and unfriendly. We felt as if we were just an annoyance to them when we got on rides. My husband said there was one ride in particular where the operator was yelling at the people in line and very hateful. This is not acceptable!!! We will not be returning and I won t waste anymore money again. There are other places to visit besides Six Flags!

Fun Amusement park. The park has a great line up of coasters. If you are willing to visit just a few times a year, definitely buy a membership and dining plan because it will definitely save you money and can be used at other Six Flags parks. If I had one complaint it would be that the staff is occasionally not as knowledgeable or as speedy as they could be and are at some other big parks partly because they use younger employees a good bit and seem to be slow to eliminate the poor ones. But all things considered this is a thrill ride enthusiast's heaven.

ATTENTION!!! DO NOT EVER EVER Give them your card for reoccurring monthly charges. THEY WILL NOT STOP CHARGING YOU. I've been charged for a year and a half for a service that was supposed to end in 1 year. The park is now closed I am still being charged as of yesterday.

Rather shabby establishment. The lines I had to wait in to get on a ride where insane. I understand Austell/Atlanta is a huge area with a massive amount of people but that doesn't excuse the lack of communication I received from any of the management.I even bought a top-tier flash pass(The most expensive one) And still had to wait about 15 minutes to get on a specific ride. I don't believe I'll ever come back to this park on my dollar. By the way I didn't even mention how ridiculous the food prices are here!

This park have amazing rides, most part of them are very high intense.. so my advice is if you don't like rides this is not a good option for you. My husband and I went there on a Saturday in August and we could enjoy all day long all the attractions, but we had to wait some of them because they were having technical problems. The parking lot is a little bit expensive also.

The rides I rode was heart grinching. You're on a rollercoaster, Up in the air and you drop going fast. That's a rush. The weather is hot so you have to be prepared for that. Long lines without the passes. Meaning you can skip the line and get on quicker. The food is alright.

Where the path crosses over the railroad tracks, one of the arms that comes down whenever the train is coming was loose. As we were walking up it was obvious it wasn t working, and several people were holding it up trying to get it in place. My dad, my 7 year old brother and I walked through safely. A few seconds after we looked back to see that other people weren t so lucky. For some reason the staff couldn t fix the issue (or even hold it up to keep it from crashing down!!) and the giant pole, who knows how heavy, crashed down onto a traffic jam of people. We didn t go back to see what had happened, but we saw several people go down and heard screams. This was a few hours ago and Im not sure what happened to the people hit, but this seems like it could have easily been prevented. And of course the usual. Super hot. No shade. Way too many people. Other parks have plenty of fans and water spritzer things, but six flags had fans in SOME of the lines. Even the wait in indoor lines was miserable. No air conditioning or fans. Obviously it s a theme park during the summer and they re usually hot and gross anyway but this was just bad. At least the rides are fun.

It's a good family establishment if you lower your standards a bit. The park smells of trash near certain places which I believe is also drawing bees due to unkempt food areas. They are celebrating their 50th anniversary-they have a new show to celebrate but forgot to remove the peeling paint and refresh the rides. The staff are either really nice and helpful or the total opposite. I don't think we will be back after this trip.

The staff were friendly, but they didn't really know where things were.... The lines were not long, but I think that's because we went at 10 am. The longest wait time for a ride was 35 mins and that was our second time on the badman. The first time it took about 13 mins.... If you're riding and you bring a bag, you'll have to put it in the locker. $2/hr and 5/hr for the day. You can move the bag 5x to different lockers for the same $5. With the $2 ticket you are stuck with one locker...overall it was a good experience. We'll go back

Went at a great time and the weather was perfect. Despite some shut down rides (which I understand is unavoidable sometimes), it was a great experience. Most of the staff even seemed to be in good sorts. Talking to people, dancing around, etc. They even allowed us to get free cups of water at the quick service food booths without questioning or giving us bad looks or anything. Thankful for that as we were dying of thirst and not planning on buying food/drink until later that day.

I love the rides and I love the Flash pass. However, you only get 3 stars because the food service is horrendous. Why do you consistently hire people who don t care? I have never seen servers this slow before. I went to Macho Nacho and we spent 30 minutes in line and the line moved maybe 5 people. How do you have one employee working the food line?
Then we left and went to the BBQ place instead and that was another long wait. By the time we paid and sat down to eat the food was cold. The customer next to me was on her 3rd attempt to get a hot meal. I don t think it s too much to ask to make your employees show just a little sense of urgency. It s bad enough we have to pay $12 for a hotdog but on top of that you have to wait an unnecessary amount of time. Do a better job at hiring people or at least make the current employees work faster.

I am a season pass holder and was a mistake. Worst experience of my life was this weekend though. First off they are way over priced, most of the rides where broke down most of the time of the two day span I was there. And if that wasn't bad enough all my belongings where stuck in a locker for an hour because it was broke as well. And most of the places to get food here closed and was hard to get food because lines where so long because of it. Very short staffed especially being thr weekend vefore Halloween! Most places where out of fountain drinks. I waited
in two lines for almost 30 minutes only to get to the counter to tell me they didn't have drinks! Wow! Totally unprofessional and horrible customer service. I paid way too much to come there to be treated horrible. If you are thinking of visiting stop do t do it! Complete waste of money!!!! I will never return and will be sure no one I know does ad well!

Rides were great. But would close often. The downfall of this place is getting in and out. Dont ride the shuttle! It's a 30 min wait and people are slow as Christmas. The worst part is the security staff at the entry. Long waits in line and I am a member.... the staff was playing around and talking to each other in groups of five or more and ignoring the growing lines. I thought things would change when i saw a white shirted supervisor come by, but he just joined in with them. They didnt even acknowledge people waiting. This was not all but most. Just a severe case of un-caring security. Getting a $6 bottle of water took about 30 minutes in line due to under staffing of food places. Drinking fountains are not maintained and low pressure if you can find them. Pay attention to Kings Islands policy of free cups of water at any place serving fountain drinks would be a great idea to keep people hydrated, happy and allow more available cash to be spent on other things in the park. $24 for a family of 4 everytime they are thirsty on a 93 degree day will break a family! $100 a day on the necessity for water? Really?

My husband and I love to go to amusement and theme parks and were very excited to buy your membership and visit your park. However that quickly turned to disappointment soon after arriving on Sunday. We have recently visited Universal during covid who has a much better safety practice in place. At six flags we arrived at opening and found that most ALL sanitizer bottles were empty, ride workers did not sanitize hands as is done each time you ride anything at Universal, social distancing was not enforced and overall your safety measures are just not at all up to par considering the severity this virus brings when spread. As large as your park is I would think you could have at least had your sanitizer bottles full and working.

We have a seasons passes living in the Atlanta area. To be honest we have the gold season pass which includes White Water in Cobb Co. Six Flags has a water park on site but it is small. I live so close to White water we go there 3 x a week in the summer. The pass includes parking at both parks which is huge! I have lost my lust for thrill rides since I am getting older. My tween to teens enjoy it ,but do not thrive on roller coasters...so we found we love Christmas in the Park and Fright Fest. The wait for rides in the Spring through Summer is very, very long for a 2 min ride or so. I really do not have patience for that...but as a pass holder...we just go ride something else or enjoy a show, etc. Fright Fest is fun, because they decorate the park (very dark - hard to see) and have actors who walk about scaring people. We do not pay extra for the haunted houses offered, but enjoy and park and rides decorated along with the scary show at The Crystal Pistol. Fall...crisp air...eating popcorn or dipped apples...buying s'mores...sitting by their attended fire pits. Nice. Holiday in the Park is when the park is decorated for Christmas with so many lights, warm cocoa to be had, Santa Claus appearances, North Pole Train, soup bread bowls offered, fire pits and holiday music. It is festive and the best part is the snow machine dropping snow flurry's at the main gate when you walk in.

We waited in line for mind Bender and it broke when we were next to get on. Batman was fine. Wait wasn't too bad. We waited over an hour for Goliath which broker when we climbed in the car. It was over 40 minutes before it was running again. We are lunch and came back in the park. Hot mind Bender in about 45 minutes. Headed to Superman and after about 30 minutes in line, that coaster broke. Nearly $300 spent for 4 people on annual passes. Over 6 hours in the park and only 2 coasters ridden
