Not fun the lazy river was closed and they kept shutting rides down . Over priced food that was horrible.

This park is fun, but the security is still poor. As there was a gang going through peoples stuff. After notifying security, they did not time to look in to it
We purchased season passes for Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor and decided to go one Sunday around 3:00 pm. The park was extremely crowded, but I was expecting that. We decided to purchases the platinum flash passes for the 3 of us. Since we had season passes, we got $5 off each of them, which made them $60 per person. The platinum flash pass cuts your wait time by 90% of something like that. For the few rides we were able to ride, it was nice, we didn't have to wait in line at all. But a lot of the rides said full at the kiosk when we tried to check in for them. I don't know what that means. My main complaints about the park are the upkeep. This place is so run down. The area we sat in to eat our over priced food was a grassy area and 5 minutes into eating, I started getting bit by fire ants. The bathrooms were DISGUSTING. The food was overpriced, but you expect that at amusement parks these days. The service was slow, we stood in line for 30 minutes to order drinks and fries. And the person taking our order, who was also taking money from customers, was handling our drink cups by the top (where you drink from) and since they don't give you lids we had to drink where he had his grimy money hands touching our cups. I ran into a few employees who were nice, but even one was complaining to us how she had to stand in the sun most of the day. One employee was looking at his watch and rolling his eyes at the crowd of people waiting to get on the Tornado. I think the highlight of the day was the mango on a stick. That was about it. I won't go back....not even for that mango.
Did not like the price. Schlitterbauhn is more affordable and has more events
Oh my goodness whatever you do do not drink the water from the water fountains I had to pour out my water bottle at the gate and I refilled it from the fountain and when I look into it there was pieces of fish and smelt just like fish inside of my water bottle! Can not get ahold of anyone who even cares this is a huge HEALTH CONCERN!
Great Place to have lots of Family Fun. If you get there when they open you can just about ride all the rides without long lines.
We had a blast! I took my little 15 month old granddaughter and she had so much fun.
Enjoy the park and the rides. We went on a day that was overcast and had no lines. We did not like all the cabanas they added around the wave pool. You have to pay extra for those.
Fun place only with friends. The park itself is immensely fun the first time through. Any other time it is boring and uninteresting, unlike it's rollercoaster counterpart. one person can ruin the best thing in the park, the lazy river, and the season passes are super overpriced. The food is very low quality, and overpriced and most staff don't seem to care about genuinely anything but their paycheck.
had a great time everything is very expensive the food the beer and the parking
Season pass with all the fun. A little pricey. It would be a much better experience if they didn't charge extra for the access to cut the lines. It is very capitalist policy for a place based on children's happiness.
I really like the place so much fun. Thank you for your wonderful staff.
Very expensive, good time, I'd recommend water shoes, seems like the place hasn't been updated recently
Super fun and exciting place! Great for families with older kids. The pricing is slightly high. They have multiple places to purchase food and drinks, which are slightly pricey as well, the lines are usually long, but overall a very fun experience!
Better to go when it first opens and the water is still clear, but the family and I had a good time.
This is the WORST water park I have ever been to and have no plans to return. DO NOT RENT a cabana! The service is horrendous, food is terrible, and all around experience was just bad. I've been to water parks all over the US and was really looking forward to Hurricane Harbor but was definitely disappointed. Worst of all most of the slides were closed for repairs. Also their rules for purchasing alcohol are bullsh*t.
Fun water park with lots of activities. It gets busy here often so plan accordingly.
To start it off, just a horrible experience. First, the restrooms are disgusting, there was no toilet paper, and some kids were even peeing on the ground. Second, the lines for the rides are just plain bad because we literally spend 1 hour just for the ride to be broken and the employees tell us that something happen and that sorry we were in line for an hour, like what the heck. Third, the line for the food is literally the worst. We spent almost 1 hour in line to get a refill for our purple cups. You all should have some seperate stations were people can refill their cups without having to stand in the line were people are there to get food. In addition, the personnel that is there to assist us, not to be rasist but most if not all the African Americans were constantly not doing anything, lazy, kept leaving the little stands, always distracted and talking with others, would give the wrong refills for cups like giving me coke instead of powerade, and even getting mad when a customer was deciding what to get and also when we complained on how long they took to attend us. Also there needs to be more parking spots because people didnt know where to park and all the exits were super saturated.
Workers have the worst attitude. It s like they don t hire energetic fun people who are smiling, instead rude kids who look and act like they can t wait to go home. Terrible everytine. Why do I have a season pass again?
Overpriced food and drinks probably will not be going back.
I just love this place only thing I wish the prices weren't so much
Great park, long lines but it's the summer so we expected it. Awesome time!!!!
Had a blast. Make sure to wear shoes, that concrete is hot even with the water.
They're taking all the precautions possible to take care all the people safe!! Good job guys!!!
I got a bad hat and the customer service lady told me too bad.. dont but things here.. plan ahead.
Fun for the family. Always long lines for food and drinks.
The life guards are almost all worthless. But fun place when it's not super crowded.
Great attractions, decent staff and a well executed idea, Hurricane Harbor is one of Arlingtons best attractions. Look forward to great thrills and a even better atmosphere. Bring flip flops or sandals to avoid the hot concrete!
Although my grandkids enjoyed this place to the fullest, for the price of admission, and the cost of everything inside, I expected it to be more updated and nicer honestly. Alot of things weren't running or broken down completely.
The place is so crowd in the summer barely any place to sit grandkids love that
We had a blast, and the lines were not as bad as I was expecting. Was worth it.
Loved this place but tube rental is a joke! I have the season pass and this is the least fun you'll have at six flags in the state of Texas. Maybe it's my love of roller coasters and their lack of them.
Overcrowded, long lines, rude workers, 30 dollar parking, 26 dollars per ticket, 20 dollar drinks, 10 dollar water bottles and you have to pay 100-250 for shade. Save yourself the money and go run around in the rain
A great way to beat the Texas heat. We had a great time. Nice and clean! We had a great time!
The fact they make you rent tubes is ridiculous as expensive as it is to get in. 10 an 13 for a nasty burger that's frozen. Should be fresh grilled for that price. Its that way in California and its cheaper. 5 bucks for a soda the least you could do is supply straws and lids. This park does not put customer experience first. Its all about sell sell sell. If they made food reasonable it would be a great place otherwise. Last complaint. The last 15 min of every hour the kick everyone out of the wave pool and they call it some stupid safety thing lol no it's not. Its so people will go spend money on food and drinks. Its a bar trick. Only park I've ever seen that did this. Lmao
Cheers to Hurricane Harbor for their hosting the annual River Legacy Cardboard boat Regatta. Excellent example of community support and involvement. The did a great job.
Built in the late 60s and it shows. For the prices that are charged we expect some updates. The locker rooms are very open so expect to see naked people walking around
Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is a fun water park. They have many slides that are fun. None of the the lines were very long.
I had a lot of fun some rules change but thats ok .I suggest the black hole .
Super long lines and really rude staff. Plus, even if you're a diamond elite member you still have to reserve a VIP spot the day before.... And I found this out when I got there, I wish that had been more apparent when buying the memberships. The rides were pretty fun, but it was extremely crowded when I went and the price on lockers was insane. I'll stick with Six Flags
Way too crowded. Every attraction was packed. Too many adults and big kids in the little kid area and only one poor little lifeguard. Waited in line for almost half an hour just to order a burger (that they handed out immediately, so no idea what the wait was about). It was not a fun experience at all.
Great amusement park
Great food
Great slides
Overall FUN!
It was really fun place to go and have a good time. Prices are high though.
Fun place to go! Very crowed on Saturdays . would not pay full price to go.
It was mine and my husbands first time. We had a blast we will return.
The lazy river smells like raw sewage, the health department needs to address this.
we were there yesterday.
I was extremely disappointed with a recent visit to Hurricane Harbor. I was part of a family group of 7 that included five adults and two children (ages 9 and 2). In a six-hour day, we were able to ride one (1) ride after a two (2) hour wait, which was completely unacceptable when the line was only 50 deep or so. The 'fast pass' riders made it virtually impossible to estimate the wait time and discouraged us from waiting for another ride.
In addition, my mom has a severe chlorine burn and associated rash/swelling/blisters to her feet and ankles that resulted from the sanitation conditions at the waterpark. It is disheartening to have this type of reaction when she has never experienced it before. The added expense for medical treatment to the chlorine burn makes this situation that much more upsetting.
I can honestly say I have absolutely no plans to return to Hurricane Harbor and will not recommend it in the future.
Rick Howarth,
I purchased the tickets for my first visit to Hurricane harbor on 7/15/15. I brought 3 tickets for 7/18. My son was here for the summer so I wanted to show him a good time before he returned to school. My experience with hurricane harbor was a complete disaster. We purchased the flash pass to make sure we would be able to ride the rides which was another 75 dollars. My son wanted to go to the wave pool which we did but there were NO WAVES! I asked the lifeguard on duty why there were no waves and I was told the machine was "not working". The 2nd issue was my son wanted a tube for the lazy river and to my dismay I would have to rent one at a WATERPARK!!!! Tubes should be free as it is a necessity for the water park experience. We decided to use our flash passes for the black hole slide and the wait with the flash pass was 55 MINUTES!!!! My husband was very disappointed as well as my son so we returned the flash passes. Why have a flash pass if the wait is still an HOUR. You have 12 rides so with the wait 1 hour we would not get to all your rides. Whats the point of buying a flash pass AGAIN? We returned to the wave pool (still no waves) only to be told to evacuate the wave pool. At this time we decided as a family to leave after being there for 2 hours. I've been to many waterparks but this one was the WORST. When I requested a refund I was told I can only have a rain check. Why would I want to return?
I emailed this ONE week ago on July 18th. Website stated I will be contacted in 1 week. *crickets*
I then asked for a supervisor. I was told I would have to wait which I did for TEN MINUTES!
This is when I speak to Alexa. She claims to be the manager of park relations. I repeat myself for the 2nd time here. I am offered another rain check when I have stated I DO NOT WANT TO RETURN TO HURRICANE HARBOR!
I then ask Alexa for her supervisor. She first tells me she is the only manager there. Then she tells me she does not have a manager. When I explain to her i know she has a supervisor I am forwarded to a voice mail of Rob Casle.
Rob Casle actually calls me back @ 4pm. Rob Casle called unprepared for the call and escalated the situation. He opens the call asking me to explain why I called for the 3RD time. I question if he located my complaint and he says YES. He offered the same solution of a rain check. He also states it was my fault that the flash passes did not work since I came on a busy weekend. I was told I should have come during the week. I let him know that i have a job so i am unable to come during the week. I explain to him my son is leaving this saturday so a rain check is not a solution for me. Since hurricane harbor did not have waves as advertised and flash passes did not work as advertised I should be refunded.
Hurricane Harbor has the WORST customer service and waterpark EVER. GO TO AQUATICA OR Schlitterbahn
Thank You
Always good to get in a cooler place. Food is pricey here. We always pack a cooler for the car. You can bring your yeti type cups in, your own floats, and strollers.
Trip was wonderful and amazing ride was to good.....
We purchased memberships in December and have used them quite a bit. Parking could be managed better singer there early for a good spot. Be careful as you go over the bridge (right after you enter) that goes over the lazy river and leads to the wave pool. This is very slick and see people slip and fall every time we go as it's just painted and has NO GRIP.
Call ahead if possible to see what rides are closed these past 2 weeks several rides have been closed without any notice or explanation.
If you plan out your day go here first and take extra clothes to shower. Leave a little early go out to eat then head to Six Flags.
I bought memberships this past thursday and they have 4 tiers. I compared all the benefits and noticed that the diamond members get to skip 1 line each visit. I gladly paid extra so i could take advantage of this. Keep in mind that i did all this through hurricane harbors website, and had no intrest in six flags. I go to the park and they have a pre highlighted paper and tell me its only at their "theme parks" and that it doesn't apply to hurricane harbor. I asked for a manager and they refused to get one for me. The exact kiosk was the booth next to sea wolf. May 27, 2018 at about 2pm.
Umm on the bean & cheese nachos. They need to atleast smush the beans a little instead of just throwing some damn beans on top. & the cheese is kinda nasty
Parking is chaos. There isnt much structure and order considering its apart of six flags. Kinda disappointed going in after paying and arm and leg between parking and admission. Then have to pay for a floatee too. Easily spend 200 without even noticing just to get wet
Great place for family times. My kids are grown but we all met up here for some fun in the sun. Food is good...may be waits if they are slammed or your fave soda may be out.
Pretty much one word awesome it was absolutely great
Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is awesome! Family fun in the sun. They have group and single slides, bar, live music, and dive in movies. Unlimited fun if you live in the area.
If you visit Texas, this place can not be missed, you will spend a day full of fun and adrenaline.
