Like this park. Just know on the weekend it gets very busy.

Nice landscape for a casual walk/low key hike. There are no real challenges and so long as the path is clear and dry, it is an easy walk around the trails. Walking along the creek is pretty nice, and the trails also go through the woods some too. We could not go too far on the trail in the woods due to snow and ice. Looking forward to returning when the weather is a bit warmer.

Great for kids, but super busy destination. Parking is a mess if you don't arrive before 8am.

An excellent hike, although a bit busy. Either code to hike along the creek and visit the Dunafon castle, or take a more intermedate up the hill, it's a nice and accessible hike in all.

One of my favorite easy day hikes, best to go on weekdays especially in summer due to a lot of people nowadays!

It's a great place to either take a quick hike or turn it into a longer day hike with plenty of creeks that are beautiful to look at. Visitors do a good job of keeping it trash free.

Beautiful hiking trails within a short distance from the city

Great area & paths for kids. Lots of picnic areas too if you bring a lunch. My 18 month old loved it.

Great multiple use trail near Denver. Get here early on the weekend as this is a super popular trail for hikers, joggers and bikers. Not too technical, not too easy.

Well maintained. Kid friendly loop was great even for my 4 year old who usually ends up being carried. Beautiful area with lots cool vegetation for the cub scouts to learn about and a lovely creek. Also has a parking lot and vault toilets.

Just drive the extra 10-15 minutes to Beaver Brook Watershed trail system. It's prettier and doesn't have 1000 people on any given weekend.

Beautiful. No other words. Real clean and maintained. Trail me and my kids walked was awesome.

Great hike for young and old...bring a picnic to enjoy along the stream. Several places kids ( or adults) can dip their toes in the water. A surprise castle near the end of the trail.

A really great hike for just hanging by the river. Maybe should be called a "nature trail" because its pretty leisurely. Which makes it awesome for old dogs with joint problems. Plus, there are plenty of points to get into the river to wade around in. Great hike close to Denver.

Get in early (before 9) to avoid competing for a parking spot; parking is limited on weekends.

One of my all time favorite areas. The only bummer is, lots of people agree with me and it gets really busy! But people are nice, there are a lot of options from here. There's an easier short loop that is great, creekside trails, picnic areas, and a trail that climbs up the mountain and joins other trails. Love it here!

A great go-to hiking spot that is easy enough for the grandkids but still affords beautiful views and an opportunity to interact with nature. We can hike here over and over, and it never gets boring for us OR the kids.

Too many people for my liking, and I went on a weds around noon. But it's a nice walking trail along a creek and I enjoyed it.

Enjoyable hike. I d been to the park, but hadn t ever gotten beyond the short walk near the parking until this time. There was more, but we turned around at about 2.5 miles, got back before the rain. Very nice rocky trail in the woods.

Great location foe a pleasant creekside walk, hike, or bike. Beautiful scenery and very accessible path.

Gorgeous park. Trails are pretty. Perfect for a fall walk. First time here we saw deer, second time we saw snakes. Be loud and they slither away

Great trail for MTB riding. Other visitors, including hikers were friendly. The parking etc facility is clean and well designed.

Easy hike/stroll along a winding creek. About a mile long. Just lovely and peaceful. A real castle is just across the creek! When you can have open flames, it's a great cook out area. Lots of families.

Porto potties avail. (The restrooms were destroyed by the big flood in 2013.)

Morrison is close by and I love to stop at The Cow (formerly The Blue Cow) for an ice cream or burger after my hike.

The cyclists have ruined the upper trails with serious aggressive biking. So, 1 star off! And I hate porto potties!!

Beautiful trails. Mostly for easy hikes, there is one trail that is moderate difficulty. Amazing views

Parking was very crowded.. it took at least half an hour to get a spot. Beautiful shaded trail along the highway

Showing signs of decay in grounds. Too much traffic.

Decent hike, definitely suitable for children and the elderly. Views are not really that great overall. Plenty of other hikes with better views.

Nice park for an easy nature walk. There were 3 different groups doing professional wedding pictures, so if that is your thing, this appears to be a popular backdrop! You can hear street noise on all the trails I was on, but it was not terrible. I liked that dogs need to be leashed, but I disliked that people were not following the rule - obviously cannot be blamed on the park itself, of course.

Great trail for biking as long as you can avoid the weekends.

Great trail system. For an extended ride, you can connect to Mount Falcon. Be aware that this trail system is very busy on the weekends; going early or on week days is suggested.

Beautiful Park that is great for hiking and mountain biking. Not an extremely strenuous trail, but plenty of challenging features for advanced riders.

Even covered in ice, this is a beautiful place to hike around and spend some time.

This park was amazing! Lot's of great places to stop and splash around in the creek. The water was warm. There were baby trout and crawdads that were very easy to catch! Definitely deserves all five stars!

This park is pretty busy but everyone seemed to do well with keeping their distance.

Great for a walk in the hills away from the city. Check out the loop trail.

Reluctant to give a good review for a park, trail, place to swim, camp, ski, because it will be overrun, but.... this is an accessible park close to the big city, good place to get kids out on the trail, play in the creek, and the uphill trail gets you away from the crowds.

This park is very nice and even has a little Creek that your kids can play on. It is very beautiful with all of the nature there. If you go their and have kids, bring them along.

This place has great little homes for families. Great picking spots with built in charcoal grills.

Great spot to hike with young kids close to Denver. Parking is always terrible and the trail is also used by mountain bikers, so be aware you may have to throw your toddler in the creek to get out of the way of a mountain biker taking an easy trail way too seriously.

This place is beautiful in the summer and now in the fall with all the pretty trees and colorful leaves. It is also stroller and kid friendly.

Busy park but for good reason. Stream runs along side of 2 of many trails of varying difficulty. Nice picnic area.

Great, shaded walk / hike. Very populated. Kidd's and adults enjoyed taking a refreshing bath in the creek

A new definite go-to for us new transplants to Colorado! We LOVED the trails and river stomping! Great for us and our 2 young boys!

Trees, beautiful hiking trails along the water, wild flowers, this has it all. It's a great place to take the kids off the leash to let them play. The only thing that would make this place better is fewer people! But that what you get when something is this good.

This park is a wonderful example of Colorado's commitment to the outdoors. Great trails, picnic areas, many scenic spots make this a popular place for photo shoots, hiking, mountain biking, and trail running. Many miles of trails connect this park to others and it has bathrooms and plenty of parking.

Great hike, but if you value sanity and want to park get there early.

Nature that is easily accessible from town and leads upward towards even more beautiful areas! Recommend highly to all families and people that just want to relax and cool out in nature.

My favorite mountain biking trail in the front range. There's a bit of everything on this trail - long uphills, technical rock wall, and smooth single track. Best if ridden in the morning on a weekday - this place gets packed on weekends!
