It rained and we didnt get our money back . We were there for 2 hours.
I've been three times now in the last few weeks and we've been impressed by the level of service from the park staff. The attractions are great and have a variety for all ages or adventure levels. I lost some items and they were quick to find them and even offered to mail them to me. If you're going to go multiple times the Gold Combo Meal pass is a great option as is the season drink cup.
Great place. They are on top of keeping the park clean. I seen employees all day long cleaning and wiping things off
Good but those who attend the small and organized food stores
Don t bother coming here on memorial weekend the line was atrocious both ways we literally drove off and went to anyoner water park (epic indoor waterpark) to be told they were at capacity and it would be a 2 hr wait.
Great place to visit with family and friends but few improvements can make your visit a whole lot better. Improve parking situation, there is just one enterance and only parking close by is either handicap or jacked up $35 "preferred parking". Provide a shaded pathway from parking to the entrance. Use rubber flooring throughout the park and white non-slippery paint instead of dark gray or other dark shades. Majority of visitors don't walk around in slippers while enjoying rides and pools and when they get out they have to burn their feet on hot concrete to go to the next attraction. STOP selling over priced food. $44 for a large pizza and 4 drinks? Are you kidding me? There are no rich families there, mostly middle-class families. Stop taking advantage of them.
They are doing what they can to make everyone safe. And it's nice that there isn't a million people there at the same time.
My first time to ever come here and honestly won t come back. Rides were good but the food service staff was HORRIBLE. They aren t in a rush to do anything, disrespectful, and lazy. There will be a line full of people and they will be inside gossiping & messing around instead of tending to their customers. Honestly makes me hate the place & not want to return.
Kids love the place, I found the water unhygienically safe.
Had a blast with the family for our back to school outing. Brought some extra friends along for a discounted rate offered with the season passes and memberships that Six Flags theme parks offer. Lines didn't have a long wait time so no flash pass was needed. The park provided life jackets for the inexperienced swimmers at no extra cost to it's guest. Inner tubes are available for rent unless it's required for a ride. Then it is provided. You are able to bring in empty water bottles. No outside food allowed. The theme park generally has photographers to take pictures. However it was difficult to locate one to redeem a free 6x8 coupon we had. Overall good experience. At a reasonable cost. In addition, the gift shop has the necessities at a reasonable price. Sun block, shades, water wallets for cell phones, water shoes, inner tubes, and souvenirs and more.
I give five stars, except many of the employees were rude ( probably due to Texas heat) . We only had one issue with an employee asking people to wear masks to walk into bathrooms, even though we take them off inside to use the shower. I'm perfectly fine with following rules and have followed all of the silly mask rules at six flags with no issues ( except when my kids mask flew off on the ride, but we always bring backups. ) My kids and I were not the only ones I saw whom got yelled at for no mask going into the bathroom, yet I used a napkin and my hat to cover up. If we have to use the restroom while swimming, there isn't time to run back to the table to grab a proper medical mask. What's funny, is when I tied a lace cloth around my face or wore a mask with holes punched in it, , it was fine to walk into the bathroom. They were more concerned with masks than actually cleaning the bathrooms. Hawiian falls doesn't ask for masks in the bathroom, but they do spray and wipe each toilet after each use, which to me, is safer than just wearing a mask. I guess hurricane harbor would rather have people pee in the pools or on themselves then go into the bathrooms without a mask that hooks around the ears or head.
With that aside, my swimming experience with my family has been excellent! The employees at the rides are polite and tubes were sprayed after each ride. They followed safety guidelines for weight and height on rides pretty well .
We also, love the cheese fries and nachos there. I did see many people having issues with ordering on the app.
Such a fun place for everyone!! The food was great and the staff were very polite.
There was water everywhere. The park was so large, we didn't get to make it to other areas of the park to experience those adventures, but we'll be back. The wave pool was absolutely amazing, which is where we spent most of out time and really enjoyed the lazy river. My family and I had a really great time at Hurricane Harbor.
My first time coming here.. it was crowded as expected. Everything seems fun, except the price for the food. I paid $21 dollars for beef nachos, 1 large drink. I even second guess ordering, because the kitchen did not seem clean to me. 2 bottle waters of 16.9 oz for $10 Dollars parking is $25 and you can't even find a spot. I'm bot sure I'm going back.. but the way the water was very cloudy.
Just got gold membership passes and went yesterday with a couple of friends. It was better than I remembered it. As you can imagine it was packed on a hot Sunday in the summer! But, we were still able to go on about 4 rides and spent some time at the pool, lazy river, and got some food. Some things I didn't like: 1) Every 45 mins everyone is supposed to get out of the pool for 15 mins. supposedly for safety reasons. This was a bit odd and annoying. 2) Having more visible security would be nice. 3) Food was really expensive, maybe they should lower the price and have more variety. 4) Lower price for Flash passes! These passes are basically more than what you pay for to get into the park! Some things I liked: 1) Although the food was expensive it did taste good. I expected low quality/flavorless food. 2) getting the seasonal drink bottle (yellow bottle) is a very good deal You pay $32 once and you can drink any sodas/soft drinks for the entire season! 3) The place looks clean! Despite the sheer amount of people that pack this place day in and day out, the place is mostly clean. The pools didn't have a bunch of trash, the grounds weren't packed with garbage, etc...
Fun water park, has a lot of fun different rides. Fun for all ages and More healthy food options would move my rating to 5 stars.Fun environment.
Nice waterpark. Lots of slides. Plenty for little children and toddlers to do. It can be quite congested during peak season. Some things are a bit pricey.
Had a great time, even though expensive and parking took a long time. $25 to park, $20 refillable drink cup, $10 for 2 - 16oz bottle of dasani water, and $8 chili cheese fries. It took 30 minute to pay and get a parking spot. Will I go again? Yes. The rides were great even though lines were long.
Not bad but bathrooms are disgusting. Really need some renovating.
Good clean family fun. PERFECT for entertaining the little ones! Get a pass or a membership. Totally worth it!!
Long waits on some rides, but over all super fun. The food was okay, after all it is a waterpark. Make sure to bring your flip-flops because the concrete gets super hot. Enjoy!
It was fun and everybody was polite and great! Thank you so much....
Fun place for the kids. Very crowded of course. The food and drink kiosks are a joke. It takes forever in line only to find out they do not have what they advertise. Once you do get to the window it will take you 10 minutes to get a dippin dot or soda. It's as if the children working the booths do not understand or care.
Season pass gets the bang for the buck in Hurricane Harbor
Last summer was our first time going. And we will be returning. We had so much fun!
Although the kids had a great time, a few things. First, the lockers stopped working and we had to get an employee to unlock them for us every time we needed something. Second, for being a Sunday which was a super busy day mind you, they had to inflate more tubes for riders on one of the rides since they didn't prepare extra. And this is while we were waiting to ride. It is a great Waterpark otherwise as well as fun and clean. We had a good time!
Its surprisingly not as crowded 1st thing in the mornings during the week. We enjoy going as a group and catch the rides when we first get there as the lines aren't so long. We also like to walk the lazy river, it's a great way to get some exercise while having fun and staying cool! The kiddos really enjoy the kids section with the pirate ship slides and sprays.
Not s great experience for the price. The park was dirty and was not well maintained. The lines were long and moved very slow. The food was very overpriced. (Which we did not purchase) It was hard to enjoy the lazy river because of pushy photographers who wouldn't take No for an answer then have to put an arm band on your arm as you're getting swept away. Not to mention the fact that you had to rent tubes......over all very disappointed
Always a good time! A few rides closed this time, and food overpriced as usual, but lines weren't too bad and the lifeguards were very friendly.
It's was crowded and was stupid long but other then that's my husband and kids loved it.
It is a place where the whole family has fun and is taught to swim
Great WATERPARK FILLED will alot of things to do for all ages....I saw several social distancing tags along the park. I noticed the precautions along the wave pool with park goers standing in line to allow the next group in. There were signs about wearing a mask to be served at all concessions also. Upon entry there was a temperature reader you had to walk through and if your temperature was above a certain point you were asked to step aside. All park entries were with reservations that I set up online the night before. Keep in mind that you must reserve your parking or your parking attendant will not see you on their list,so you will have to continue to general parking further out. I did enjoy our day out at a picnic table that was shaded near the kiddie area that really helped with the heat. I used our park dinning pass to enjoy dipping dots, bought the slurpee cups as souvenirs for us all.The weight for the slurpee was a bit long but it worked out. Jb's is the only Turkey leg stand there so no you have to walk towards the back of the park, which was a.bit of a change from our last visits. I found the concessions were very fast , and lines were not as long like normal...kudos staff...you guys was rocking today. Guest service assisted me with a lost pass as my daughter lost it in the kiddie pool out her lanyard...that process was fast. I did find my app stating I needed to be in the park each time I tried to expedite our food by ordering through the new app I downloaded sad It didnt work. The app is very informative and is easy to navigate.
We are season pass holders and I was sad to see how dirty everything was. The staff is so young so they dont care about upkeep. I wish they'd monitoring the cleanliness more.
Great waterpark fast slides and massive drops.nice food as well
I love six flags.... of all the six flags parks this is the bottom of the barrel.
The parking... and I am a diamond member. The parking, getting in and out, the lack of directions... its horrendous.
The park lay out is horrible. Its like they put the park in a snow globe and let it just fall wherever.
The rides (amusements) are actually pretty good and keep this from being 1 star.
The staff is unfriendly, rude and very inconsistent which makes things even worse.
I've been to many parks all over the US .
I WAS excited to experience this particular park....but I'm never going back.
Six flags San Antonio's rocks....
I would honestly rate Hurricane Harbour higher, but thinking more about it the place in general isn't very fun. The water starts to stink after awhile and even taste bad if you accidentally get some in your mouth. The rides are fun to be honest but getting around can be painful on a hot summer day, and must I say Texas. This is not a place to stay all day.
Since Six Flags has taken over operation of the park the cleanliness and quality of the overall park has declined rapidly. They have made no effort to resurface, repaint or fix anything in the park. Every year it gets grosser and grosser. The slides hurt your back from the joints in the slides shifting. They basically charge double for everything now, don't allow ice chests and serve over priced disgusting food. It was MUCH better as Wet N Wild. Been going to this place my whole life, season passes every year for the four of us, and now I will never go again. Way to ruin a good thing six flags.
Boys enjoyed themselves......until mother nature stepped in.
Disgusting. Overpriced. Pee. Old. Parking Terrible. Crowded.
It's clean, fun, and they've changed our fixed a lot of broken rides. The lifeguards are attentive and alert.
Fun place to spend the day. Certain rides were momentarily shut down throughout the day. And lines for some rides are excruciatingly long, even with the flash pass. Good place for the family to enjoy the day.
Trashy and gross! Not like when I was a kid. Also, the lines take forever! Even the short lines took an hour.
