Over crowded and poor maintenance, small like sewers
Nice but go when its not a bring a friend free its too crowded
My bag and belongings were stolen as well as the belonging of a.women setting close to my family. The reaction of the park staff was like: yep! It happens all the time and we can t do anything about it! . They told me lots of stories about all the theft that happens. That is unacceptable.
the slides and activities were pretty fun but their prices were to high .
amazing pools and rides but the lines are ridiculous.
Park is way over crowded even on a Tuesday in June, the food stands are horrible ...more people standing around talking than working. Plus you have to monitor them closely they used our free meal pass for free snack pass so when we scanned later for our meals they declined one and said it was already used. Everywhere was running out if ice and drinks and there is only 1 diet drink option (coke) besides water of course. Kids had fun but it definitely needs an upgrade and more than 1 entrance and exit.
We always have a blast going for a day or even half a day w our membership. Its totally worth getting for unlimited family fun days+ benefits
Expensive, but definitely worth it. Kid played himself out, rest if the family had a great time.
Relaxing & membership is definitely worth the money.
Only fun if you are kid. Too many people in small space.
Not my favorite water park. It's dirty, the employees are so rude and that does not make for an enjoyable experience. We have a membership that includes food that we regret getting. It takes us at least thirty mins to even get food and we go to the places that don't have the line wrapped around the building. The water attractions are okay, for young children there is not much to do and not enough shaded areas. The slides are often closed and I have seen children get stuck on closed slides because there are no signs saying it's closed. I do like the splash area, the lazy river, and the hooks areas even though they are always dirty.
Blast! Lots of seating around the park! Only complaint is it's either $14 or $19 dollars for a locker rental!! Way to expensive! You kinda stuck renting a locker too because what else can you do with your a car key that has a chip in it
This is a really nice waterpark where you can get adventure rides or just chill if that's what you want. The lazy river is great if the park is not to crowded. The food selection is great and is very tasty.
Amazing place to take the family just super expensive. Recommended
Fun place for summer fun. But if you don't like lots of people it's not for you.
I loved it bc it has a lot of places to enjoy but they need more stuff to do for little kids slides practical and they need to fix some things so people dont get hurt on them.
Every thing was outrageously priced a 6 fl oz bottle of sunscreen was 20$
Parking lot full of potholes and staff seemed out pf it but lifeguards were great, very professional.
Yesterday 8/3/2018 my bag got stolen and I reported the theft and didn t get any help. All I was told I will get contacted if they had anything , there was a camera pointing right at my table. There was also multiple people that have gotten their stuff taken too, they were told the same thing as me. You would have thought with a public place like this THAT HAS CAMERAS and everyone watching they would be able to pull up the cameras to see what happened.
Only complaint is that I had not known the limited fun rides for my aged. 5 and 3 grandsons were I suggest you allow your children to be 8 or 10 years old before bringing them for there enjoyment
Great fun. Unorganized lines. Long car line to get parked.
The park needs a major facelift! So many rides are rusted and the paint I peeling all over the place. It was fun but the park is so outdated.
It was fun and a wonderful cool down for my toddler and I.
The place is old and everything looks worn out an out dated.
Excellent place to enjoy the sun and pools without leaving the city
This is my second trip this season and I will say that the first visit and the second visit 7/14/15 were the same - Horrible! They have people working there that don't give a crap about customer service. Let's start with the Main Entrance, if you need to go to the Will Call/Customer Service booth at the front gate, be prepared to bring a lawn chair and plan on spending 2-3 hours just getting through the line (Freak'n so slow it's a JOKE). Both times, they only have 2 windows open even though the lines aren't long to get to the window, it take forever to get there.
Once inside the park the service isn't any better. Plan on waiting line for anything you want or need. It's not because their are a lot of customers, it's because the people working there don't care how slow they move. They have 2 speeds, slow and slower. I waited 40 minutes to get my son Dip'n Dots I waited almost 2 hours at a pizza place over in the pirates cove area ( I think it was called Pete's). I was about the 8th person in line and every single order was a 20 minute ordeal. How hard is it to take a piece of pizza and slap it on a paper plate, what a JOKE - seriously 2-hours to get 2 slices of pizza. Now let me move over to the cleanliness of this park. It's a disaster. The lazy river is FULL OF HAIR and is absolutely NASTY to be in. The water isn't clear nor clean. The grates that the water moves into were clogged with hair OMG it was so nasty. Dirty band-aids were floating in every pool of water we went to enjoy. This park is an absolute let down, and Six Flag Needs to look at this and fix the issues. I bought 4 season passes and will NEVER go back. OMG it was a filthy mess.
I went to hurricane harbor and wanted to ride the slide I was wearing aqua-socks so I wouldn't burn my feet on the pavement. I get to the top of the slide only to have the attendant tell me to take off my aqua-socks and I had to hold them while on the slide and it made it tough to swim with them on my hands.....when asked where does it state that you couldn't wear these on any of the slides the life guard couldn't even pretend to care about this as she rolled her eyes
I would gladly give a 5 because we had a great time but unfortunately I was overcharged twice. Being that I do not live in Arlington I have been trying to fix this via phone the young lady that I spoke to, told me she would call me back after checking everything, she still hasn't. So I tried to call her back but the extension I was given no longer works. I have left voice-mails with the company and still have not heard back from anyone.....watch your charges while in the park guy
The place is really dirty and crowded, They charged me for child under 2 , when I found out and asked for refund they simply refused. The manager was rude and careless. Overall bad experience.
It was fun, next time well bring our own floaties and tubes. It was nice that we could take our hydroflask in for water.
I only rate it 4 instead of 5 cause it's not plus size friendly. But they were nice.
Well hurricane harbor is awesome but I got sick over it because drity people and water was warm it was supposed to be cold when you get in so yeah it must have been a very warm water because germs but you never know and the locker room is the worst one ever people been peeing on the floor and when I was Changing my Clothes I avoid stepping on the floor so yeah hurricane harbor needs to be upgraded and clean.
It's been awhile since I been but it's the same fun as usual, glad it's still pretty great coming here ^-^
Ok park. Slides are old but still well maintained. Safety staff need to be trained better.
After waiting for 30 min in line, shutting down the black hole and surrounding pools for 40 minutes, then waiting 10 more minutes (as the fast pass line increased over the wait), my husband and I get our chance to ride the black hole, just to be told we exceed the weight limit by 2 pounds. Not sure about other women, but my weight fluctuates daily as yesterday I was 3 pounds less perhaps dripping wet with swim shoes this time set us over not sure... either way, we also took the walk of shame, seeming more dangerous to fight the rafts and opposing traffic on those steep spiraling stairs verses letting us ride down. Between our visiti yesterday and today (over $250 for 2 ppl), and paying for a premium membership, then being told we can t ride the one ride we wanted to reexperience (yes reexperience as yesterday this wasn t an issue for us both to ride), I m done with this dirty place. Charging premium price for a not so premium park or experience.
when you factor in everything, best water park I've ever been to, including schlitterbahn
Big fun in the summer time ! Best way to cool off from the heat .
I love the area & the people. just need to have more rides butt it's a great family event or date.
Great time! Would be a higher rating if everyone looked happy to be there working
Visiting Hurricane Harbor is always a fun outing. There is many unique rides to try and is great on a hot day. They do a pretty good job at keeping it clean for a park that large. I have never bought their season passes, but I was intrigued when I saw their membership deal. For $6.99 a month (if you buy it for 4+ people which I did) it is totally worth it. If you go even twice you are getting your money s worth. Also if you get the membership you don t feel the need to do everything in one day because you can always come back. We like to come to the park early and get closer parking so that we can leave the park and eat lunches we packed at their picnic area. Saves us a lot of money and gives us a break from the sun. Staff is always friendly and willing to answer questions. Thanks for always being awesome!
Crowded, but still fun. Little disappointed that the Wave Pool was closed for maintenance. One of the better water parks that the family has been to. Good food options. Tip - Lines clear out at the end of the day.
Our family had the best time! Can't wait to come back!
Disappointing! The Only Waterpark in town you have to rent a tube just to float down the lazy river. Oh, you will also need to hang on to your tube for the wave pool as well. Sad!
Great place to bring the family and kids but you cannot bring food in and that is why I only gave it 4 stars they are trying to make money off the food one pizza costs $50 and 1 burger fries and a drink costs $30
Between the slow bar service, unexcited employees, high prices, minimal ride availability and no music throughout the park, I'd say I was underwhelmed at best.
Had a blast with my Family. Also, Tyler and Antonio who work the bar are Great Host's.
Despite Covid-19, Six Flags did a great job with their employees doing all they could to maintain social distancing. And they were all very friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was how each restaurant handled mobile ordering for faster easier service. Also the map on the app is incorrect on naming each restaurant so ordering and picking up was a pain. Overall we had a GREAT time. Wish the operating hours were longer.
Great value to go to! Weekdays not as busy and Weekends!
Went here early in the morning to beat the lines... but they understaffed the park in the morning so were still long lines. Need to use the money being spent on demographic surveyors that are everywhere on actual lifeguards to staff the slides instead. Was also injured on a slide here and reported it to the park. They never responded. Hurricane Harbor seems to be waiting for a lawsuit to happen. Thankfully I recovered but someone else may not be so fortunate. Customer service here is a joke.
It's a blast! Bring your own float device if you want to use the lazy River or the wave pool. Rentals are $12 or you can way overpay to buy a $17 dollars for one you could get at five below. The souvenir shop otherwise is surprisingly affordable, especially if you have a membership card up to 25% off. The bar deserves a 2 star rating because the wait was insane and the most ridiculous part was that the one bartender serving patrons in the bar was mostly doing inventory! Inventory in the middle of the day when people were waiting to be served. When we asked him if he was doing inventory now and why, he just replied that "they" wanted them to get a head start on it. This was on Sunday June 2nd, so maybe no one wanted to stay after 8pm. Still a great day!
It really need updating. The pools need replastering. They are chipping on the bottom.
Don t go there on Weekends it s overcrowded and the water is so dirty in these days. (Brown water!!! )
Angela at the attendant booth is seriously the sweetest thing in the world. She seriously brightened up the entire car s morning!
Great place for everybody. They've renovated the park
I went to HH today, on a Tuesday and it was not over crowded. My biggest complaint is the staff is so rude. The food is nasty and my snowcone was too. I was planning a a trip in August however i dont think i will be back. Hire friendlier staff!!
Great place to spend the day on a hot Texas summer day.
The Food Service Stinks.... 45 mins to get a burger and fries. Cheese not even melted. Garbage all over..... Wasnt pleased today
Fun rides, great food, only the food and gift shop items are a little pricey.
Nice place had a great time kids loved it as well line wait times aren't too bad
Nice waterpark for the kids. During the summer is crazy not enough workers around to help. Over all not bad just recommend bring food so you don't wait an hour.
My grandson always has such a good time here. Loved it this year we actually got the dining pass deluxe because swimming makes you hungry and this boy can eat! Very well worth the money for the entire season!
