I liked it a lot this time I went after 4 p.m. and I could ride on the slides without so much waiting.
I liked it a lot this time I went after 4 p.m. and I could ride on the slides without so much waiting.
We have been here several times over this summer and every time multiple rides were shut done :-(
Largest water park in the Agra. Get there early or expect lines at the popular slides.
I love this place this place was tight off the chain B .......
The membership and dining plan are definately worth it. We bought diamond elite memberships for 3, and deluxe dining plan. Saved a TON even on the first visit. Looking forward to a summer of fun both here and at the main Six Flags site across the highway.
I went here for summer and it has great entertainment for kids
They discriminated against my family and would not let us in without a mask even though my son and I are medically exempt (he freaks out really badly and fights and gets severe anxiety and hyperventilates) and he also reads lips so this is an extra hard time for him right now. They wouldn't even give me my money back unless we put masks on basically extorting us to capitulate to her discrimination. It's against the ADA to discriminate based off a medical disability
Was super crowded and the place had a stench of either hot trash or sewage. We did had a fun time regardless and the wait for rides was not terrible. Was super easy to burn your feet on the concrete. They had a few areas where they were spraying water on the concrete. You have to wear water shoes or you will burn your feet.
To crowded!!!! Wish they could build one east of Dallas. Food way to expensive and rides are boring wish hurricane harbor was much more like six flags. Six flags has something new every year
Long time season pass holders, but we still love it
We had a blast. Arrived at 10:30am left 30 minutes before closing time. We rented a Pagoda (private one) which was so worth the price. It was your own personal shade, relaxing benches (hubby and sister fell asleep on), a safe to lock things away, food & drink service (even with meal cards), right on the side of the wave pool (where my kids wanted to stay the most) but it was also a great place for everyone to meet back up at (easy to see).
Kids keep asking when are we going back, been twice this summer.
I like it a lot but they need more child friendly slides. Also the rest rooms need to be cleaned more often! The food is ok. Over all its a fun experience, again, season passes are the way to go here.
Its great the only thing i dont like about it is that you have to rent floaties
We really have been enjoying ourselves at Hurricane Harbor this season. There are plenty of fun things for the little ones. We get the same membership treatment as Six Flags. There is always a pool area waiting for you, your family and friends. I definitely recommend a visit if you have children of any age. It's a wonderful family environment, safe, clean and fun.
Our family always has a great time here. Two improvements I'd love to see is more than one parking lot exit available and for the food lines to not take such a long time.
The rides were fun. The facilities were clean. However, the food & drink prices were obscene. The $14.00 big kaluna burger didn't even taste like real hamburger;
The water is always so clean and fresh in most of the larger pools. However, the water in the lazy river is something to avoid. Just too many people in too small a space for my liking. The park s rides, though thrilling, have a queue time that s a little too long. Get there early or get a speed pass to fully enjoy the experience! The park is fairly clean and the restrooms and showers are as well. Good and snacks are priced at what you would expect for a theme park of Six Flag s family prestige. Overall, a great park to spend a few hours at for sure.
Same issues as always. Employees at the food areas are always unhappy and inconvenienced if we want anything. Other than that it was great.
Everything was great. Except for the kids at the front gate. They we're too busy talking to assist us, even after having security to call them several times.
While I love the water park, the employees at both six flags and hurricane harbor need better training, both with having a sense of urgency and having a happier attitude. The dining lines are atrocious, especially at hurricane harbor. It's commonplace to spend 30-40 minutes in line, and while I know it's busy, there is literally no sense that the employees are striving to get food out quickly for the guests. They walk lazily from one side of the food service area to another, not in a hurry whatsoever, with drab looks on their faces the whole time. I worked here myself in 1997 and as an employee, this wasn't the attitude we were taught to have. As someone who pays for passes, it's upsetting to spend a third of the time every day in a one waiting.
This water park is the best place to go with your family and take a break from work and other stuff and it is also a great place if you want to go somewhere with your friends chill have fun it is a blast!.
Too many unattended kid's . That was disrespectful to adults & staff.
So much fun with the kids and wife we will be returning!
Very hot there the ground will burn your feet bring aqua shoes
Lots of fun. Really loved the slides, wave pool and the lazy river. Will definatly be back!!! And the Rapids are spot on for a sweet ride.
Food is too expensive... Make sure you bring your own
Great place to spend your summer days.Good food and plenty of fun thungs to do.This place never gets old.
The restsrooms are disgusting! They should have more people to clean them and put more signs for the people who does not use them right.
Staff is very rude... They ignore you because they are too busy flirting with the girls. We spend 20 minutes in line to order food and the cashier boy was flirting with 3 girls that ordered nothing but water. Terrible service
Love it. The rides are awesome. The food is great, they have so many choices. Need to try their funnel cake.
WAY TOO PACKED. Seems they need MAJOR help getting people into the park. The lines were ridiculous.
Loved it had so much fun would recommend to go. The only downfall is the price for the food $10.99 for a slice of pizza wth and $45.00 for a box of pizza
Great experience. Great job with social distancing. No lines. Was able to ride everything
Bought the season pass, weather is great. They officially opened may 9th however they are always closed. This far not inpressed. Their website needs to be updated and post the actual days they are opened.
Really clean for a big water park. I do wish there were more family options tho.
Had a great time thanks to Jump Rope 4 Heart. Water was extremely cold but kids still enjoyed it. Lazy river is great in a tube, hanging on to a tube or walking it.
Awesome park overall. My family and I have been coming here for almost twenty years.
Pretty fun even though we have covid still around. Staff was fully prepared and took all safety precautions that were needed. Well worth your money and wasn't too crowded!!
They have to Improve the food kiosks, they are really slow, all of them are teenagers that work for a small paycheck so they wont work as hard.
Dirty, crowded and the employees and lifeguards all looked like they hated their job. Not good when you work at an amusement park.
Went on most of the rides also got a chicken strips and fries and nachos. Had great service and had lots of fun! But definitely going to leave electronics at home because lockers are not worth the buy! (14$ for a locker isn't worth it for me!)
WOW! So much fun, bring water shoes because the concrete grounds are very hot during the hot summer days! Also Fanny packs are very handy to have especially when you are with the family. Food is kind of expensive, so bring cash. The lockers are very small so minimize your items for the fun day. BONUS TIP: if you bring a coke can you will get a discount off of your ticket. Bring plenty of bottled water to save money! On the other hand you can buy your tickets on online to save time and to also skip the line. I hope y all have a great time at Hurricane Harbor!
Great water park
A lot of rides/ slides
You will get wet
Wish they did more upgrades and more intensive upkeep
Fun times for a ages, lines were not as bad as expected and the lazy river is nice to relax in. Parking is crazy price.
It's okay. It's over priced to get in and everything inside is over priced as well. You can't bring outside food so I recommend bringing a cooler with food and drinks and leave it in your car and when you get hungry you can exit the park and eat in your car and then go back in.
Always fun to come here got a season pass and go every chance i have
I always thought Hurricane Harbor was the ultimate water slide experience until I discovered Schitterbahn - a park where you can save a ton of money by bringing your own food and drink, so the trip doesn't break your bank. Parks like Hurricane Harbor rob you pretty good, although it's still a fun time. I really enjoy the fake beach at HH. I can spend hours there making sand animals, drinking $8 Cokes.
Food service here is a dumpster fire. At lunch I waited in line for a burrito just to be told they were out of tortillas AND rice, yet still charging $13. No ma'am. Settled for $8 nachos, recieved about 12 chips. Dinner was more of the same, this time it was 30 minutes without the line moving. Literally. Did. Not. Move. I get it, I expect prices like this from a water park and I don't mind paying it as long as they aren't running out of food and expecting people to wait for over an hour. At least let us bring in our own food. If this is how they run your concessions how is their ride maintenance and safety? Next time I'll save a few hundred bucks and go to the lake. Disney never would have done this to me.
We are season pass holders and have come several times (7-8) this summer. Most days, I would have given 4 or 3 stars because it's pretty clean and has an awesome variety of options for my 4 kids (ages 3-10) but the young staff just isn't very efficient. Today, I'm giving it a 3 star because it's an average for the summer, but TODAY WAS A 2 OR 1 STAR DAY. There were many pool areas closed for chlorine issues, and several slides were closed. No one bothered to announce why. My kids said the lazy river water tasted salty. And when I tried to use my dining plan, the worker said I didn't have a plan. (Another mom was there in line. None of her passes were gate checked.)
Should not say open at top of this page drove all way out there will makesure check web next time thanks for wasteing my time and 20 in gas...
This is my third time this year you should definitely invest and the season dining
It is an excellent place to spend a pleasant time with family and friends, excellent treatment
I babysit my three grandsons and this is what we do Hurricane Harbor we have our season passes and our drinks are free because we bought the cups and our popcorn is only $0.50 refill and the boys have a great time and it gets him out of the house off the games.
Fun place for the family, but they need to seriously improve the sanitation. We just went in August 2017 and I went in one bathroom where there was poop all over the floor, toilet and walls of a stall. I went in there hours later and it was still that way. I saw an employee go in and do a quick sweep but that was it. Then I went to the main bathroom with showers towards the end of the day and there was poop all over the ground just out in the open. No sign or anything to warn people. There was a teenage girl who worked there and she was more worried about fixing her makeup in the mirror. So I guess poop is just no big deal here. Bathrooms at Six Flags Over Texas are much better maintained, despite the fact that many people, including kids, are walking around the bathrooms at Hurricane Harbor barefooted. Absolutely DISGUSTING!!!
Overcrowded and smelled first and last time going there
Everything is clean neat and many games offers / I love me and my family
Granddaughter had the best time
Worth the money. Better to purchase a season ticket. Get there early to get a decent parking space. No one wants to walk across parking lots at the end of a hot day. No outside food or drinks
Get a locker for your belongings. Bring sunscreen as prices in the park are high. Staff are very nice and the park is clean.
