My family & love this place, we get our gold passes every year & when you pack a cooler of good food it makes it very affordable.
great for kids but not nearly enough for teens and adults
Had a great time, prices were fair and definitely recommend
The best water park in DFW!
Get your pass for six flags with hurricane harbor worth the money!
Movies and food by the pool! Oooh yeah!
Love this place couldn't ask for a better water park. Six flags needs to step up and buy them new equipment and sign cause the sign out there is so worn out that it looks ten years old. And the employees badges are rusty looking and thin compared to six flags over Texas badges.
I have older and younger kids, and we all had a blast! Plan on spending the entire day here and enjoy the lazy river, the salt water wave pool and so much more!
Someone stole our shoes and the cement is really hot got one the food ordered wrong but it was still good the employee was really rude to my daughter on the black slide NOT APPRECIATED !
Then there is Hurricane Harbour, which is the water park at Six Flags. Lots of fun there too. Parking is usually good. Such a big trill for people. I suggest adding a wave surf thing. The lines for Tornado and such are long, and that's a big problem. The wave pool is always open to people and the waves are cool and relaxing. The little castles are also fun.
My family and I came here on Father's Day weekend 2018. We had a lot of fun and my kids got to experience the fun I had from this place when I was a kid.
The place looked a lot bigger back then when I was younger and it used to be called Wet-n-Wild. We rode a lot of the rides, I would definitely recommend the flash pass if you can afford it.
Some of the lines took some time to get through, other than that most of the waiting in line was fast and simple of you have the patience.
I do recommend being an early bird and getting here early as you can if you want close parking to the facility other mwise you will be parking across the street for $20.
They do offer a military discount to veterans and active duty military. That was a plus in my book.
They have standard and jumbo lockers. You can pay with cash or credit/debit card. Definitely get a jumbo if you have your family with you. And you can unlock and resuse as many times as you would like to until you are ready to leave the park.
Would rather give this 4.5 stars. Lines can get too long for the kids-but you knew that going in-or should have. Can't say it's the gold standard in DFW just yet as we've. yet to visit a Hawaiian Falls or NRH2O. But with the Six Flags season pass it's HARD to argue. Well worth the investment for at least a year. Kids DID enjoy both trips...and a 2nd Six Flags trip coming this fall.
It was amazing food price a little over the top 10.99 for a slice of pizza. OUTRAGEOUS. BUT OTHER THAN I WILL BE BACK .....MY KIDDOS HAD A BLAST ....I WASNT ABLE TO BUY EVERYBODY FOOD DUE TO HIGH PRICES.......(I HAVE 10 CHILDREN ALL BY MY WIFE AND YEA) HAD A WONDERFUL TIME STAFF SUPER HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY THANK YOU ALL
The rides were of course awesome. Aside from the very rude employees in the food stations. I was standing there trying to figure out what we wanted to eat and mind you no one was behind me and the last starts screaming next at my kids. I told her they were with me but seriously who screams next at someone just because they are trying to figure out what they want. It was just beyond rude to me.
I mostly go to lay out and the wave pool. This place is fun, but it about time for a remodel.
I hope they shut this place down, all you're doing is recycling COVID 19 water....disgusting
Well what can I say, visiting this place during the summer is always a challenge. Super crowded, busy at every ride and eatery and not really the cleanest environment. Waiting in long lines in hot Texas weather is never fun. The water needs better filtration and less chemicals. They should really limit how many people go thru the gate in a day.
Great place to take the family love the rides they are a blast they have rides for all ages
I give 4 stars because it's a great and cool place but most people dont get lockers if that's you please get a locker I told my today to get one she said no we went to leave and someone had stolen all of our stuff!!! Lesson learned!!!
Never again! Hurricane Harbor is way overpriced and the bathrooms / showers are filthy! These people try to nickel and dime you to death. Parking is horrible and expensive at 25$. It also costs 8$ to rent the tubes. There were only large lockers left which costs another 19$ to rent. All of this is on top of the price of admission! And my nachos were cold. The only time I had fun was when I was actually on one of the slides.
It has become terrible. Mobile ordering takes forever. We can no longer be lazy in the lazy River bc they made it a ride so you have to be in a tube. Then if you buy flash pass they overlook you and not even acknowledge you are there.
Life guards are nice but the really thing I don t like about this water park is that when I was in the lazy river somebody in the picnic area from the second floor threw a burger and chicken nuggets in the lazy river and that was really disgusting here s another they don t clean the park there s trash everywhere, the park is so full you ll wait in a line for about 2 hours for a ride that is just 40 seconds long doesn t make sense why you would want to stay there for more than an hour to ride a ride that wasn t half that time but most of all the service is good the slides are fun and I love the wahoo racer that ones my favorite ride it like 30 times on opening day of hurricane harbor
Love thus place..My girl's have the time of their life there and makes my family very happy
It's okay for what it is.
Several rides to choose from and arts for the kids but it's always busy. Flash pass it's outrageous. And lines get to long and makes it not fun.
Can't get ahold of anyone over email or phone for anything.
Everytime we went this summer, a significant amount of children's rides were constantly closed.
When we bought passes they talked it up about how we get to bring friends for free. We got ONE email stating we get a friend for free. We have 4 passes, but only received one pass for free. And it was only valid one day the whole season! A day in September when it's colder and only open 11-5! And they sent an email Thurs! How can we plan to bring one free guest with 4 of us with two days notice? And only for 6 hours
. Not happy!!
Would give this place a 5 star review, but it just seems like something cold be done about the 300 degree concrete. I would never walk around the park barefoot for fear of foot fungus or such, but around the pools and such its unavoidable. Otherwise, very fun time, and when purchased with 6 flags tickets, its a nice escape from the heat and exhaustion of the theme park.
Great places to visit with your kids and food is great
Busy lines were crazy long to get in. Kids loved it
Way to overcrowded, restrooms stink as soon as a you walk by, under-staffed. To much to mention. Ugh
I think they're doing an awesome job with the social distancing and trying to keep visitors safe. I would rate them 5 stars but I'm not happy with an incident that happened when we went. We are members and I completely understand that while getting a drink they won't take our member cups and put the drink in a paper cup but the whole thing is completely pointless when an employee is not wearing gloves and places a lid on top of the cup with bare hands all over it. I was very upset about that.
Food is to damn high other than that we have a great time everytime we go. (we are members)
Great water park, just with there was a place to actually swim
The rides we're okay. But there were no employees monitoring the lines which caused chaos. The other problem is you can't bring in food and it took 50 minutes in line to get chicken strips. This is why I will choose another water park next time. Goods rides but poorly run.
My kid loved this PLACE, my advise for whom have littler ones 10:30am until 2:30pm after 3:00pm it's became to busy and hot :)
I love six flags over Texas and I lover hurricane harbor I just wish that they would add more rides to it
Great place to go if you have kids and catch there season passes on sale, which will allow you to go to both hurricane harbor and SixFlags over Texas all year long!
Can get crowded but is still very fun. The season pass is definitely worth it. If you get the combo you can do Six Flags as well. With the pass you can just go for a few hours and not worry if you got your money's worth.
Renovation needed!!!! From the water park to the parking lot ughhhhh
If you have a child with Intellectual Disability such as Autism or even a child with a physical disability that can not wait in the long lines and are not allowed to use fast pass without paying extra fee..Do not bring them to this park. They offer no accomidations for Special Needs unlike the Six Flags amusement park. We went to park on a Friday. They did not have enough employees managing rides which made wait time alot longer. The food lines were hideous. The workers were standing around eating while preparing food and I waited 35 minutes in line to order.
Some if the staff went friendly, but we understand bc it's HOT! but overall a great first experience.
Best place to hang out in the pool while the kids go crazy! Their lack of energy afterward is amazing.
Fun water park for the whole family. No outside food or drinks allowed. They have life jackets for ur convenience. Also tube rentals are available.
Fun place to go with the family. Just have to make sure the car is secure and no valuables in sight.
Mandatory mask for the restrooms, but not in line for a slide. No social distancing. No one attemping to keep the crowd compliant.
We had a,wonderful time. The lines were not long at all. Nice Park, beautiful landscape. The staff was very friendly.
We have season passes to Hurricane Harbor, and have been three times so far this season (2019). This park has TOO MUCH PARKING, that allows for overcrowding. When I say overcrowding, I mean you are touching everyone in the wave pool, in the lazy river, and walking around the park. Shoulder to shoulder at times. Someone knocked my 7 year old daughter down the stairs making her bleed. I was trying to put a band-aid on her toe, and other people kept knocking us down. While in the pool, other people are swimming on top of other people and just have no regard for anyone's safety. The park needs to be responsible, and enforce a capacity limit to keep everyone safe. I let them know this as well.
Had a great time. Lots of rides for my son who is only 42" tall. Lines weren't too long. The kiddie area was crowded of course. I didn't like that the kid's slides ended in a 3' of water. They did have lifeguards at the end to help some of the weaker swimmers. The lazy river and wave pool were extremely over crowded and wish that was controlled a little better. Don't waste your money on tube rental unless you plan on spending a lot of time in the lazy river or wave pool. The tubes were too big. Bring your own. We will definitely return this summer.
Me and my family are Elite Members. I m giving this place 3 STARS because IMPROVEMENTS NEED TO BE MADE. 1st) the Kids Water Playground is becoming more and more crowded. Grown adults with NO children are using the area. Because everything else is a long wait. I get it, it s a water park. But when you have GROWN ADULTS CUTTING THE LINES when children have been waiting to ride 1 of the 3 slides it becomes a problem. 2) Whatever lifeguard is present at 1 OF 3 slides at the Kids Water area would let you ride with small children. They need to make it PERMANENT if a child can t swim, they can ride with an adult. 3) The water IS very cloudy. Again, I know it s a water park, but whenever you can hardly see (in the kids' area) it s time to be changed/shocked. 4) It seems some people do pee in the water. My wife and I have come across the water in random places where it feels, how it s supposed to and then we would move where a person/people are and it s very hot. PLEASE ADD PEE WATER DYE. Would greatly appreciate it. 5) Someone needs to clean the tables after someone is done eating. People can be lazy and not clean after themselves and it attracts HONEY BEES/FLYS. Been seeing a lot of BEES lately. And to SOME people that can be extremely deadly for them. 6) PLEASE ADD MORE RIDES to decrease the overwhelming crowdedness. 7) UPGRADE ALL RESTROOMS. That s a must. 8) KIDS AREA FLOOR NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. Whatever it may be tile etc.. It s coming up badly. And needs to be SLIP RESISTANT!! Seen too many slips and falls. And it s a must in the kids' area. 9) MORE AIR CONDITIONING AREAS. It s TEXAS. It s HOT as heck. And lastly 10) PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF THE LAND HAVE PARENTS BRING SWIMMING DIAPERS. How disgusting was it for cotton from a normal diaper floating in the water. If the parents can afford a ticket/season pass/membership.. They CAN AFFORD SWIMMING DIAPERS FOR THEIR CHILDREN.
Everything was great except the new lines & waits for lazy river & No Wave pool after a certain time...
Best water park we've been to in Texas hands down. The slides were awesome and both my 6 and 8 year old were tall enough to ride all the slides. Staff is also super friendly and helpful. MAKE SURE YOU KEEP YOU SANDALS WITH YOU. I ditched mine in the morning but was running from shade to shade by the afternoon until I got my sandals back. But favorite slide is probably a tube that dumps you out the end 8 feet in to a pool. Fun, fun, fun.
Horrible for this season !!!! The number of people is exaggerated, it is not regulated for access to the park so there is an overcrowding, very dirty and the rows for the attractions are incredibly long, there is not a single table to sit down to eat because people appropriate them not to use the lockers, and the parking lot is not enough for the people who arrive at the place. Nothing recommended. Also many people do not dress appropriately to enter the pools.
Had a stuation there with racesisom n it was address thank you.
Great family place kids loved it and reasonable price
Love all the slides , the tornado , everyone was friendly there and they have all the stuff u need can't wait till next time , which will be soon ,lol!!!!!
Pool and lazy river were very crowded, and the lines for slides were very long, same with the food, but that's not their fault. It was a good park
It was fun. . Food wasn't great. . Over crowded.. but it was fun what we did do
Horrible experience once again! We pay all this money for season passes, and they have no parking whatsoever! The lines are never ending now, an so overcrowded it's impossible to enjoy yourself nowadays! The dining lines are so long, and the employees are so slow, you end up spending half of your day in line! They employ young thug punks, that were so rude to my kids and made my little girl bawl! I will not return!! Total Mex-Fest...
Used up the last 2 hrs of our night here for our first try. It was nice but packed and so many rude people there but the staff was friendly
Love water, love smiles, security is good and helpful, love running laps in lazy river , so may hear Passing on Left
Love the water park. The food is outrageously overpriced.
Not as fun now that I'm an adult but still a great water park to visit.
I do hope other Six Flag parks across the country are better kept up than the two in Arlington. I know the one in San Antonio is well maintained, but the two in Arlington worth writing home about. The both need maintenance, are poorly managed, and they hire mainly high school students to work with the public. Which should be taught basic, and common professional communication skills.
I've come to not have my expectations high when visiting Six Flag parks.
The water level on the rides was so low that we got stuck on some of them. Not at all a good day. Other times have been ok, but not that day. Also food way overpriced and teenage boys observing women changing clothes in changing room
It will always be wet and wild to me. Needs major update but stii a great time
It has great rides, It would get 4 stars but it's too busy and you wait an hour or more for each ride. If crowds don't bother you then by all means go it's worth it just for the lazy river and wave pool. Foods really expensive but you can leave and come back with your hand stamped. However you will loose your parking spot and have to walk forever when you get back. You can have just as much fun at Hawiiaian Falls or other water parks for less money.
