It was raining, no lighting and the lines were short. My daughter and I had fun with out long waiting

Great place being water shoes though. Otherwise your feet will legit suffer.
This place needs to hire more people. I didnt pay for a Diamond pass to wait 30 minutes to get in the damn park. They had 1 person at the parking entrance at 4pm.... then they ran out of cotton candy. And the lazy river was disgusting. Do better Six Flags. We expect a lot more from you
Lines are so LONG! Lots of fun, use the bathrooms on the far side of you don't want to wait for someone using a stall for a dressing room!
The people keep trying to take my stuff and its gross
Fun rides but park is always dirty and the lines are always way too long.
Make sure you eat before you go. 12 dollar hamburgers.
Did not like that we could not bring anything in drinks and lunch, the 2 special needs kids we have cannot eat anything with gluten and charging adult price for anyone over 48 inches is ridiculous, how do you charge adult price for an 11 child
Great place to go, but best time is from Monday to Thursday not near a holiday or a day weekend because it's packed horribly.
We had such a great time at this park. It was very hot and this is exactly what we needed to cool down. They would have recieved a 5 star review if the staff were more friendly and spoke better English. There were a few things that were closed but for the most part we had a great time. The lines weren't very long and the food was good. We plan on going back before summer is over.
I love the park. They really need to get more attentive concession stand though. There is zero customer service since we've been going, on more than one occasion.
Get here early. Lines tend to get long later in the day.
Overcrowded on weekends but my kids love coming here
I have a love/hate relationship with hurricane harbor, my family and I have had a membership/season pass every year for the last 11 years! Some years are better than others. The food service should be a review it s self. The employees are not in a rush. They will throw your food back and forth at each other And completely ignore you. And the dinning pass has so many rules that six flags over Texas doesn t have That HH employees just make up to avoid helping you. Everyone acts like they hate their job. And have no shame in talking bad about other employees and supervisors in front of guests. but besides food services. We love hurricane harbor!
They treat there staff so bad I wouldn't recommend anyone to eat there or visit its a complete rip off
Very fun. Went on the weekday, so the lines weren't as long. Bring flip flops or watershoes!
Fun time with the family! The lazy river is honestly still one of my favorite things to do, but the big thrill rides are also awesome!
Was fun. Loved the shotgun slides the most. Funnel cakes were awesome. Food sucked though. Went on a Friday, wait times for the attractions weren't that long. Had the most fun hour before closing= less than 5min lines.
Finally Hurricane Harbor completed much needed renovations in the kiddie area. No more kiddie pool with cracks. Hurray. The place looked clean. A big improvement from years gone by. The only issues that they have no improvement is food and customer service. The food is way to expensive. Not many heathly options and the prices are outrageous. The staff is not properly supervised in the park and come across rude and lazy. The staff at the gate on the other hand is awesome. They are polite, curtious and will keep the line going. It is obvious that whomever is managing the gate should train all the staff to be as polite and efficent as possible. This weekend was only a trial run
Favorite summer spot! Season pass and food pass is a must! This place is pricy, so expect to spend big bucks if you are bringing your family without planning ahead. Tourist, do your research for best deals before visiting. I have a season pass, and food pass. I also live near by. I enjoy the park regularly. So overall, it is a great place to visit and stay cool in the summer.
We had a good time. But we had problems with the very rude staff on a rental cabana. The day ended up wonderful, but the lack of professionalism haunts me.
I feel this place is a little overpriced and not to mention the food is trash. They also removed the kiddie pool lounging area only to put a splash area for kids( which is not fun if your an adult waiting for your S/O to go on the dive bomb lol) it can get hot out there waiting. Also the lines to everything (food and rides) are always super long too
We used to be season pass holders but it's just not worth it anymore! Food quality and portions have decreased drastically, lines are far too long, and I am sick to death of the general undertone of "I hate this job!" from all of the employees! God forbid you ask for help!
Fun and worth it if you have a season pass. It is a bit run down .
The rides are lots of fun but the food lines were extremely slow and the food was expensive (as was everything else). To save money, take an empty water bottle with you and fill up at the water fountain. Also, take extra cash. Several places didn't take credit or the machine was down.
We got the combo gold season passes...totally worth it! We visited all the Texas parks! Great deal, great family fun!!
It's an older park that needs renovations. The parking is quite expensive and so is the entrance in comparison to other water parks such as Hawaiian Falls. However, the kids have lots of fun here and it's the largest water park in Fort Worth, TX.
The park wasn't very busy today which was nice but the lines for everything, rides and food took a ridiculous amount of time due to the young staff not doing there jobs. Everyone my family and I encountered had a terrible and unprofessional attitude,... even bragging about the things they do to break rules, how hard it would be to get fired and taking bad about guests in front of other guests, ect. I went with my family of 6 and spent an absurd amount of money for a really bad experience. I will be contacting management regarding further details unmentioned...
I hate going ,the food is nasty, there are 4 of us who have season gold membership and dinning pass, this place has the most rude people working for them. One lifeguard almost allowed my 8yr old son to drown in the wavey pool. All she could say when my 13yr old asked for help to save his brother was get back to the front. Here is my son unable to touch and drowning and screaming for help but the person refused to do her job. My 13yr old had to risk his own life to save his brother.
Yes I reported her to the front desk but I already know nothing happened. I only come back because my kids want to but after this summer I refuse
I wish more people would share their experience at this establishment... it was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. So beyond dirty. We paid all this money to swim around and walk around in filth. You couldn't pay me to go here again.
Super busy. Long lines. Prefer my local water parks.
Overcrowded and overpriced. Will not be returning with my kids.
I USED TO LOVE THIS PLACE..UNTILL ME & MY HANDICAPPED SON WERE ATTACKED BY A MAN IN THE LAZY RIVER ..I WILL NEVER WANT TO GO BACK THERE OR TAKE MY SON..NOT GOOD SECURITY..
I loved all of the ground-level activities (wave pool, kids area, etc). They have tried to provide shaded areas and mist machines and sidewalk sprinklers. Plus, they let you bring your own inflatables. BUT, the lines are just too long for the slides. It can get really hot waiting in the sun and fighting some big tube on 10 flights of steps for 45min to an hour or more. In some cases, all they need to fix the issue is to increase the number of workers. If four slides drop into one pool, there should be multiple workers to allow multiple sliders, rather than a single worker (limited to one active slide at a time).
Too many people the lines are unreasonably long and when you first arrive nobody tells you which line to get into to buy a daily ticket
I luv everything six flags. Especially Hurricane Harbor. It a good place to fo during the summer.
It's a family safe place, and the staff is really nice. I trust this place because the lifeguards are always doing their jobs and never take their eye off of the children. The slides are really fun and safe. The waves in the main pool are my favorite and I love them. Although, the rapids are my least favorite because the water is always warm with pee but again, every pool has pee also, the rapids have a slimey feeling in the floor, there are sticks and bugs floating around and it's always crowded. A thing they need to work in is on making the place easier to get around so that whenever a child gets lost they can find their way around. The food whatsoever is very good but at the same time very expensive! I always get the yearly pass so that I get access to free food and a pass to this place any day. I would really recommend coming here, especially over the summer so that you can go during the week when it's least crowned.
If i could give 0 stars i would. Me and my family have come to this water park with season platinum passes and meal passes for 6people for 5 yrs. Yr by yr for the last 2 yrs has gotten worse between security at the front to the concession stands to the cleanliness. Its just ridiculous. Im so Happy for EPIC WATERS IN GRAND PRAIRIE they have BETTER SEVICE BETTER PPL THERE. I WILL SPEND MY MONEY THERE FROM NOW ON I SUGGEST EVERYONE TO DO THE SAME. EXAMPLE OF LAST VISIT. Walk through security want greeted no smile no nothing, i said hellp several times no nothing i then asked where's his customer service does he speak. He says no i dont speak. I told his manager the manager had nothing to say about his behavior or give an apology. Next, i stand in line for 5mins not because busy or understaffed but because had a bunch if snot nosed high schoolers playing around slans giving attitude to every customer and being slow. I AM COMPLETELY OVER THIS PLACE AND WILL NOT BE GIVING MY MONEY TO THEM AFTER THIS SEASON.
Today was a total disaster i wasn't 3 o'clock and the run out off coke and ice.Waiting just for hot soda refill was about hour wait plus rude service.
I think they should be more prepared knowing that it was going to be a busy hot day.
really bad place and very very dirty place and also expensive so if you think to come to this place you're only lose your money
this place is fun and all but I hate waiting 2 hours for food. They need a new system so people can spend more time on ride and having fun rather than waiting a line for a slice of pizza.
Always a good time at hurricane harbor. Only complaint is they should monitor how people are dressed/what they have on. People go in the water with socks, that s disgusting. And girls leave their hair extensions/weave all in the water.
Had a great time... I thinks foods are very overpriced..
Need better food selections, and possibly healthier.
It was my first time there and it was a Saturday so I expected it to be pack full of people. We had fun in the wave pool and the lazy river. But what I didn't expect was that I would have to pay for a tube to use at the park, and then guard it so no one walked off with it. For the price guests pay the tubes should be included and there should be enough for all. What happened was that we were the only ones that rented 2 tubes and we were surrounded by people who didn't and they just pushed us out of the way. If you dont get there right when it opens don't expect a place to sit, and parking was almost half the price for admission. Please pay for more people to sell tickets at the entrance, so others don't have to spend almost an hour in line, and must you charge almost an additional $5 for each ticket to buy it online?
Waste. Of. Money. BIG. TIME. Save it and go somewheres else. We called right before we drove all the way across Dallas and the lady who we spoke with was incredibly rude and said they weren't busy whatsoever. 30 minutes later we pulled up and there was absolutely NO WHERE to park nor was there a single locker available so we had to make several trips to and from the car that was at the other end of the park. That in itself was a fifteen minute walk there and back. It was unbelievably crowded, we literally rode 2 rides before they closed.
My family of five visited the park this past weekend (Saturday before Memorial Day weekend). We had a fairly good time. Probably not a place we will visit again. My kids were happy to try it out, but not really needing to visit again.
The fried food was not good. We expected the normal park food like you get at Six Flags. We discovered it's not really the same. The problem was the french fries and chicken strips tasted like they were fried in very old vegetable oil. They were really nasty. My teen boys that eat everything not nailed down couldn't even manage them. I got a grilled chicken salad and surprisingly it was good. Lettuce was fresh and not wilted.
Suggestions to maybe help your visit be a little better...
Definitely pay the extra $ and park in the prefered parking lot close to the gate. Then, bring a cooler of food, and pop out to eat from your trunk. Our meal inside the park for 4 inedible chicken strip meals with fries and 1 grilled chicken salad was $67. Definitely cheaper to pay for convenient parking and eat good food from home. The outside picnic spots looked unclean, and a little scary. Eat in your car. Ha!
Definitely bring lots of sunscreen.
Get a large locker. Bring your OWN FLOATS, or pool noodles from home, or pop by the store. We brought our pool noodles from home, and were able to twist them up enough to put in our locker when we didn't need them.
Do not try to bring in food of any kind. We didnt bring in food, but saw lots of people having food taken. Even simple things like animal crackers, apples, etc.
Nothing is allowed and they check all bags and purses .
Shoes are must. Concrete is very hot, and you definitely want shoes if you are going to venture into the bathrooms. They were clean when we first got there in the morning, but really nasty by the afternoon.
Something we accidentially discovered..we brought our 2017 refillable cups from Fright Fest. We were not able to do refills of soda in them, but we were able to have them filled with water and ice for FREE. So, that saved a bit of $$.
Go early..lines are short and park is cleaner in the morning. Lines get really long around noon and definitely longer throughout the afternoon.
All good auke bathrooms are not used for what they are and they pee inside the water
Some computer issues but a good time clean with many choices.
Better now that they have sprinklers keeping the concrete cool in certain areas while you walk around.
Always love going to Hurricane Harbor! Love the wave pool and lazy river. We ride a slide then hop in the lazy river to another.
Extremely bad experience this place is literally dirty. The food grossly expensive and they didn t even have any napkins and straw the ride look like they never clean them. Bathroom was extremely dirty. Don t waste your money for that go to Orlando Florida
Great time with the Jordan family at Hurricane Harbor!
I always have a good time...just expect to spend money
I probably visited this place like 10 times in summer, love it!
Great place during this 105 summer. Got a basic cabana it was like a hot box for $200. Wished we got the upgrade you gets a fan and refrigerator and service.
