My review is more of how Hurricane harbor handles ...

My review is more of how Hurricane harbor handles a mess up on their part more than anything. To make a long story short. I spent $300 on one of their big cabanas. They send people to your Cabana to take your order. I gave the girl my credit card, she left with it and didnt come back. I asked another attendant where she went and he said he would look into it. He came back and said that she had went to lunch and must of still had my card in her pocket. Come to find out, she actually completely left the property. It took almost 2 hours for me to get my card back. I asked for management clearly upset because my card had been removed from the park. I explained that I was going to have to cancel that card that I used for all my bills. Management told me not to worry that she was trust worthy and that I wouldn't have to worry. I tried to explain that their trust in their employee wasnt reassurance enough for me. I requested a refund on the cabana because after dealing with the card being gone, and then management, I spent most of my day away from my family and enjoying the park. They refused my refund but told me I could get a free Cabana next time. Upon going back, the cabana manager said he had not been notified of the free cabana so I would not be getting one.

First visit here. We went as a family of 4 from 11am-4pm. We bought our parking pass online. When we arrived it says form 2 lines which then randomly split into 4 lines at the ticket booth. It's quite a bit of a cluster. Don't get in a hurry or you'll get frustrated quickly. Our ticket was scanned and we entered. We did not upgrade our ticket for closer parking which is $15, I believe. The signage is minimal and figuring out where to go when you haven't been there is a bit of a guessing game. We found a parking spot that was quite a bit of a ways out. I think we will upgrade next time so we can get to and from the car easier.
We bought our tickets online, and I highly recommend doing this since there was a very long ticket line. They inspect all bags for outside food & drink. I had some granola bars and 4 oranges in our towel bag. The kind young lady checking our bag said something, but we couldn't understand her due to her quiet tone and accent, so I turned & put the oranges in the trash beside the table. She then said "oh no no no, it's okay". I apologized for not understanding and we moved on to the entrance.
The gate attendant scanned our tickets and we walked in to see which way we needed to go. We asked an employee about lockers and were pointed in the right direction. The lockers come in different sizes. We purchased a large for $16 for the day. It easily fit our towel bag, clothes & some shoes.
There are no maps of the waterpark. There are maybe 2-3 signs that have arrows with slide names on them, but that's it. It's confusing figuring out what ride is what and how to get to the slides you want. The signs for the slides do not include a picture of the ride and since a lot of entrances are side by side we ended up getting on the wrong ones a few times. There are rules posted for each ride. Some do not allow footwear at all. That was a huge turn off because I won't walk around barefoot at public areas, so I sat out on some fun looking rides.
Each lifeguard we encountered was pleasant and nice. We watched one jump in 2x in a row to help a little girl then a grown man who couldn't swim in the 12'. She jumped in a 3rd time but the boy could swim, her adrenaline was just going crazy still.
We ate the family chicken meal of 12 tenders fries and 4 drinks & an order of ranch bacon fries. It was $50. Didn't taste bad but not $50 good, but I know food prices are always high at entertainment places.
After 1:30pm it began to get extremely crowded. The lazy river was full of people & floats shoulder to shoulder, you couldn't enjoy it because you had to keep from getting hit or hitting someone beside or in front of you. The wave pool was the same. People & kids in floats wouldn't go out far enough to not be a problem for those without floats, so when the waves came the floating people crashed into the standing peoples heads knocked them over & all kinds of nonsense. It became very very unenjoyable. When it was time for everyone to exit the wave pool for the break there were diapers, wipes with poop, bandages & other things in the water. I was thankful I did not get in when it was so full of people and I told my husband & kids we're going to do something else.
They have chairs, but you have to get there early and be willing to leave your towels & shoes or something on the chair while you're out so others know it's taken. There are tents & cabanas to rent. I don't know the price and if it's worth it or not.
We left a little after 4pm because it was so crowded you couldn't enjoy yourself anymore. The gift shop was okay, nothing very impressive. Cashiers were nice.
Leaving the parking lot was simple, but we had no traffic since we left before closing. I can imagine it's a nightmare trying to get out with all the cars. People were still coming to the park when we left, so we're very glad we left when we did.

We love water parks and this ones got amazing pools and rides but the lines are ridiculous. I had to wait an hour and 45 minutes s to feed my family. We rode one ride and that was all. The lines were so long and the place was to packed so we didnt go back. I doubt we ever will. To many people.

It was crazy crowded (as expected on a Saturday) but quite a few young couples were getting way too freaky in the wave pool and a few people were smoking cigarettes. The lifeguard in charge of announcing in the wave pool was incredibly condescending and spoke to adults like children, while doing nothing about the other highly inappropriate behaviors. The food service was very slow for compared to my other six flags park experiences. I thought the exchange program for employees was really cool though.

Great water park but it certainly leaves some to be desired in the summer with the wealth of kids and long lines. Go in the off times though and you'll be impressed! Get a dual ticket for six flags over Texas too!

I go to get food and find myself waiting in the line for 1 hour and 30 minutes. The line wasnt long at all. Just terrible service in general. Over 20 people working and they just moved as slow as a sloth. When we were ordering our food the worker didnt even know what she was doing. Everything took forever and we waited that whole time to pay $40 dollars for two people and recieved cold terrible food. How in the world do you mess up chicken? Several of friends that came all had the same terrible service. I wont ever be coming back. The line can be as short as 5 people and you will probably be there all day. Dont waste your money. If you re deciding to go here, I can say I told you so.

Hurricane Harbor is a great place to cool off especially during the hot Texas summer days. I like hanging out the Lazy River. It's so much relaxing. I also do the rides because some of them have really short lines. I avoid other rides that are high and fast. They have cabanas for rent right next to the wave pool. You can get food delivered in those cabanas. It's just so convenient!

They need an adults only night on a Friday or Saturday. Also an adults only hour in the lazy river for at least a half hour every couple hours. Too many kids everywhere without parental supervision.

This place is a nightmare. Always packed. Max capacity of people and full of children with no manners and just gross people. I did not enjoy it one bit. Which is sad because it was my favorite place as a kid.

If you have a family that is local, purchase a Season Pass and possibly a Season Meal Plan as well. Visiting 2 or 3 times will more than pay for it. Going during peak times, there will be long wait times and not enough time to visit all the rides.

Went during COVID-19 pandemic. They had safety measure in place through out the place including social distancing, face masks in food lines and stores, hand sanitizer through out the park.
In general, great park. Love water parks and this is a good one if you can make the trip. Some suggests before visiting though: mind your weight and those you plan to go with because tube rides have weight limits (both individual and combined), pack a towel for each person to use to shower off before leaving (if wishing to shower before leaving), have water sandals for one side of the park where it's hard to get shade or water as the concrete is very hot (the side with the lazy river); the other side if the park may be okay but be mindful and most rides you need to take them off as well.
Again great park, cant go too wrong with water parks. Six Flags has great parks.

Having diamond elite passes allows you to reserve parking near the door and reserve seating in VIP section which is fantastic!! You don't hafta worry about renting lockers and the seats are shaded or in full sun directly at the entrance of the wave pool. There definitely needs to be more than one attendant for this area because the one attendant that checks your name on the list and gives you your bracelet for reentry can't mandate all sides of this section. There are too many people that will sneak in through the ropes or are constantly cutting through the VIP section.

Lots of family fun for every age group. Extreme water slides and rides. Giant wave pool and lazy River. On Fridays in the summer they do "dive-in" moviesChildren's area with water slides, water cannons and extreme child friendly fun.

Lots of food options. Lots of lounging areas. Lots of storage lockers

Some of the bathrooms get used pretty heavily and are probably the least appealing part of this facility.

You can get a Gold Membership Pass that includes free parking, admission to Hurricane Harbor and Six Flags Over Texas theme park for as little as $6.99 per month per person! An extreme value for extreme thrills for the whole family!

Surprised at the renovated section for small kids/toddlers. Love the splash pad they created. It was perfect for my twins. The Prices, however, are tooo exorbitant. Burgers and fries 12.00 an extra 5.50 for a 21 oz drink...smh after spending 65.00 our fries were old and extra salty. Had to have them replaced. Thought about getting dessert because the kids were begging for a funnel cale and ice cream cone. When i saw that it would be at least 15.00 we left and went to Funnel Cakes and gelato down the street for much quicker, cheaper, and tastier dessert. I know this is an amusement park and your prices are expected to be higher than usual but this is ridiculous. And yes i attempted to purchase the platinum pass for my family of 6, but we had a few questions and when contacting great services no one picked up.

It was okay. Super crowded, very annoying having to climb so many ladders while carrying floatation stuff, looking at the tornado. Speaking of which, they need to give the handler at the top some kind of chain for that tube, she nearly got swept with us. I banged the heck out of my head on that ride and my fellow tuber hurt his wrist on it.
