If I could rate this a zero I would. If you pay $250 for a Cabana and the associated service that goes with it as advertised, I expect a certain level if service. Today I paid for entry, VIP parking, top of the line cabana, top of the line flash passes for quick entry to rides..in short I paid a lot of money for me and my daughter to have a fun day at hurricane harbour. I received none of the associated services linked to the Cabana, in fact one if the chairs were broken, I got an attitude from the kids in charge of the section when I dared to complain and ask why nobody was playing attention to the flag I and other cabanas had out up to ask for service . In short, do not charge a premium for a service you are not willing to provide. I could stay at just about any 5 star hotel in Dallas for what I paid for a few hours today and receive 10 star service at those hotels. Today's service was unacceptable and very disappointing. Paid for 5 star service, got kids who didn't give a damn or know a damn about customer service or providing a service that us advertised by hurricane harbour. Total rip off.

Let s just say this place is full of people with no manners. I ve had a season pass here for over 8 years. The combo one for both parks. The last couple of years the clientele has changed very much. Rude teenager kids, rude grown men and women. Once you realize where the park is located you will see the kind of people that go there. Food is ok, a little overpriced but it s expected like other places. A group of teenagers kept splashing us and I had my 6 month old child. I asked them to stop and they laughed and they wanted to turn it into a fight. The lifeguards saw this and did nothing. We let them go by in the lazy river to avoid confrontation with teenagers and they passed us but would slow down and laugh and want to fight. Ghetto is the word I m looking for. We were in line to get food another day, the people in front of us rude and loud. Speaking way too loud and saying bad words not taking into consideration this is a family water park. Finally after waiting about an hour in line, they are next to order. Well they decide to let their friends cut in line. This added about 20 minutes to our wait time. No one says anything. If I were to have said something it would turn ugly because again, all the bad words they were saying as loud as they were talking. You tell me how these ghetto people would react if I kindly ask them to get to the back of the line vs cutting or to please not say any bad words while waiting in line. They jump around in the pool and I have to constantly move our kids from getting hit. They think the park belongs to them. I tell my kids, let s stay here and don t move when I m the wave pool. Here we don t bother anyone and no one is close by. Yea that lasts 5 minutes and then they come and jump, push each other, push people and kids with their floats and we can t say anything because again, when we have they always want to fight or use nothing but profanity to my family and me. I m not renewing my passes once my year contract is up. They have lost business of my family of 5, 8 plus year season pass holders business.

My vehicle was burglarized, talked to security they didn't seemed concerned or cared. Nobody was seen driving around in the parking lots. Such a active business and no concern for customers property. There is no way to talk to anyone in park by phone either. They transfer and send you all over the place to different directories, but no live person to talk to. Terrible customer service!!! They take the money for parking and park and really don't care what happens after they do with the customers. A very disappointed summer experience at this park. Your own your own once you pay!!! Ive been suggested Hawaiian Falls am going there from now on!!! Time for a change, management has gotten worse.

Overpriced and falling apart. Paint chipping off all waterways and in the water, safety jackets had torn and broken straps, wooden benches and picnic tables were cracked and splintered which damaged
kids suit bottoms, bathroom floors damaged and were dirty first thing in the morning, employees were rude, no gloves worn when employees handled food, and there were many inappropriate bathing suits worn. Not a family friendly environment. The bottles of water were cheaper at Disney! Do not waste your money on six flags parks in Texas.

I find it ridiculous, a place opened during the blazing hot summer, won't let you bring a water bottle filled with UNCHARGED, UNPAID FOR (bills, only really) water. Is it that hard to proof for Alcohol?

Liked: How it was before regulation
Disliked: No water from your own fridge allowed on a hot, horrible day

The water is so nasty in the pools and lazy river the longs lines and waits for rides and food are so unnecessary long... Impossible to have a good time for the whole family and need better water purification... Ill take my family to other places like pirates cove.. Much much cleaner no unnecessary waits and you can enjoy the whole park with the entire family!

I always give it a 5 but this last Sunday 7/21/19 the water and bathrooms were disgusting. It seems it could have been an off day for the park, it won't stop me from visiting with my family or change my rating based from one bad visit. I hope Hurricane Harbor does a better job at sanitation.

We went today & we did pre-pay tickets for $21.99/5 adults. It was laid out well & not too small. My only dislike that I have is that we didnt think they should charge so much on food & drinks. Its outrageous & insane! They had advertisements showing that you could buy 2 Dasani bottled waters for $5.00, not too bad. But when I checked out @ concession stand my total came to $14.00. (i thought it was tax, but then realized she had charged me the regular $3.50/ per bottled water) I asked her @ the 2/$5.00 offer & she said it must be somewhere else, I then pointed & asked her why they also had the sign. She said "oh yeah now I see that". Im sorry, but I have to wonder how many other people they overcharged???.....they need to train their staff better & also take the overcharged food & beverages into consideration, the food is not gourmet or chef prepared, it shouldnt cost $10.99 for hamburger basket (not including bevetage). I enjoyed the day other than that.

We would not be going if we didn t have season passes that came with our six flags season passes. The place has really been let go since I was a kid. There is a very musty smell throughout the park, maintenance has not been done on the walkways or the bottom of the kids play area and they have gotten slick, and the overall park doesn t seem to have been updated in the past 15 years. Prices are ridiculous, they now have found more ways to nickel and dime you by making you rent a float for the lazy river and wave pool. Food is overly expensive, but of course you can t bring any outside food or waters so what do you do? My two toddlers have a blast at the pirate play area and splash pad but could get the same experience going to a local water park for $3 admission fee and can bring your own cooler. Overall not worth the money.

A blast! But the hours posted on their website are not always accurate... Not good when I drive 200 miles to the place only to be told at the gate that they "decided to close 2 hours early today"... Seems like a place as big as this could use a real time update on their website, which clearly shows the hours for every day of the year in detail. Very misleading!!! -3 stars for such a dumb, needless ruining of our summer vacation... Paid around $100 for just one hour in the park! They had only two signs showing the closing time. Hand written on markerboard sitting beside the gate. A little late by that point Don't you think?!

Go during the work week and you don't have to wait in line EVER! Sat and sunday are super busy and long lines some 1hr wait tell you go on waterslide. If you want sun and dont mind standing in line most of the day go on the weekends. But if your like me and want nothing more then the rides i suggest going monday through Friday when everyone is at work.

I was a part of the Beach Within Reach band competition and we had the opportunity to come here. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of attractions and food. It was a fun experience overall and I do recommend bringing friends along if you plan to go here.

Very clean park, some issues from our Thursday trip. The lazy river was being cleaned and didn't open until noon, the lines were long, and the wave pool was packed. Otherwise it was a great time. The Park's bar was staffed by non bartenders that rotated, so the service was slow and the drinks were mediocre, prices were alright.

Covid has ruined almost everything, this isn't true with hurricane harbor! Except the lazy river, so go enjoy this park it is really an awesome water park for every age. We have a five year old and a one year old and they both have loved each visit!

Nice

Dont forget to visit Hurricane Harbour this season now open not only is it the funnest water park to visit but also the best to work at. I suggest purchasing a membership or season pass you save much more on parking and food and it completely worth it ig you plan to visit more than once a year.

Always busy on Saturday. Sunday is best weekend day. Staff was very friendly and efficient for the amount of people at park. I have been a pass holder for years. So I believe they're doing the best job they can!

Hate it

Sute it's six flags, but i feel like for the cost, neighborhood pools around DFW are much more accessible. Long parking lot walks, hard to find seating, over priced float rentals and purchases. As with all six flags places food was over rated, expensive and just not worth the price. Wave pool is fun for all, but felt crowded compared to going in at great wolf lodge. At least at GWL, you have a room, microwave, fridge, and can get local takeout without being forced to buy onsite.

I like water parks and I have to say this is a great one for family and friends. The lazy river is fun and the rides are great then only down side Is the same as in six flags prices and the staff. While the staff is somewhat helpful I sometimes get frustrated with them. They sometimes dont know what you need and last time I went there a cashier gave me incorrect change and said he couldn't do anything about it. Besides staff I would say this is a great water park.
