Very nice place to spend the weekend , but way expensive !!!

Due to the hot temperatures we went here at 2:00 getting all wet made the hot day perfect. We enjoyed all the slides. It was busy but the linens were not terrible on most slides. Again the park seemed to slow the use of the slides a lot and some slides were not even used so 5hat is my only complaint. They were being safe but i cant imagine the wait times with longer lines. Some of the wait lines also needed more shade.

So completely overpriced! Just make the tickets $80 dolllars per person, so that way I know the true bare minimum I'll be spending. Tickets are $45 at the park, parking is $25, renting a simple locker to hold your stuff is $17!! They don't have inner tubes on any of the rides, you have to rent them for ANOTHER $20. Worst experience of my life, I felt so ripped off I couldn't enjoy myself.

Regardless of the COVID 19 it was all controlled and has less than the capacity. So ot wasn't packed as usual

The food is good there are lots of water slides and a lazy river but the best thing was the wave pool

Great family place. Great place for my daughter's to enjoy water and some waves they're under 10 so yeah they have a kids area. Having a membership is the best highly recommended. Good is also pretty good kind of high price but if you get your self a membership. You don't have to worry about it

I like the park...but the people who make the food at sum of the spots there are rude and obnoxious...I'm paying for a meal and i expect it to be fresh and not been sitting there forever and be cold the cheese wasn't even melted on the burger it was horrible!

Very packed so prepare to wait in lines. Has a little for everyone in the family. You can bring food and water into the park but not in coolers is what we were told by the front staff. Food and drinks are overpriced and the lines are super long so we will bring water and food next time. Its worth coming back.

Love this place except for the stairs.... but they are worth the rides.

Life guards are to scared to follow rules! Sign says no profanity! Right in front of two life guards little girl not more than 12 yelling f. This and you got me f.d up and I want my f.ing momma! They did nothing! If that was my kid I would have washed her mouth out with soap!

Great place to spend the day with the family! Relaxing ,if you want to just lay out and tan, or a little excitement, great water rides or spend time on the last river or in the wave pool!

Different choices for all ages. The food is not good and overpriced. Clean and good personnel.

I've been a fan since the place was wet and wild. There are slides and features for all ages!

The wave pool was just on for 20 minutes per hour and also started late almost only at 12pm. Looks like they started to save power than entertaining the guest.

Cant provide anything as a storm interrupted the entire day of play.

First time there. It was an "OK" experience. A lot of people, and hard to get parking.

Our favorite go to on summer. We have annual pass and it's worth it.

What a filthy, filthy place! The bathrooms are nauseating. The food kiosks are running with soda spills, reeking of rot in scorching sun, attracting multitudes of flies... It stinks, everywhere. People with open sores, oozing, covered with viral papilloms are allowed to enter water. This is the most unsanitary, filthy place and I do not know how they are allowed to operate. These greedy people could quadruple their cleaning staff and still have long ways to go.

Loved the park and so did the kiddos. However, kids section is small, good park for pre-teen to adults.

Fun place, get the flash pass if you don't wanna wait in line, food lines are slow and the food cost allot

Terrible experience. We completely hated our visit to this money minting park. They just want the money without the service. The lines for rides were super duper long, it was hot as hell with very limited covered seating, the entire water park has concrete floors and it becomes unbearably hot, they do not have directions from one spot to the other all over the park, there are no drinking water fountains neither would they allow water coolers- the only thing you can do is buy super expensive water bottles from the stores insides, the changing rooms and bathrooms extremely dirty with hair everywhere and no one cleaning them, and they are so understaffed.

We bought the season pass thinking we would have so much fun here. We were just annoyed and agitated at the mismanagement and the discomfort they had to offer for everything that we wanted to do.

Fun water slides and such for kids and adults alike.

Great place for family's. Love to relax in the wave pool. The food is expensive as all parks are we bring our own and have a picnic outside.

Amazing experience!! Must visit place if in dfw area

The only thing I didn't like was the $50 price tag for a cheeseburger, chicken fingers and a drink.

Good amount of rides. Some of the lines move pretty slow. Eat before and after though. Food service is ridiculously slow with food overpriced and of fair quality.

Over crowded, dirty, only water park I've ever been to and saw two grown men fight. Ghetto!

They are doing so much to improve this place. The employees are friendlier than ever before. They even let my independent 3 year old order and pay for his own food. They were so nice to him. Security is really making their presence known to. I am not worried about stuff coming up missing. Had lots of fun with the family.

Crowded for a place supposedly "limiting" entries. Yes, you have to make an appointment and there are limited slots available. Unfortunately there is no time limit on how long you can stay so even after waiting for our appointment the park was still pretty much at capacity. Other than that pretty standard Waterpark fare.

water slides are great! Park is great. The food lines and how they do things are just dumb. We have season passes and every time we go we go to fill up our cups or eat food and they lines are just stupid. each person ahead of you takes 5-10 minutes each because the staff will take the order and just stand there until the food is done. they have no system. like maybe take a number or call the name. no they literally stand there looking at you until the food is completely done then they move to the next person. If you want to refill your cup that you paid a lot for expect to wait min 15 minutes. I hate it! Six flags isn't like that i don't know why hurricane harbor is.

My family had a blast here but one thing that stood out to me the most was the around d the clock cleaning of the restrooms. It's very hard to keep a restroom clean at a public facility especially one such as this and many, many years ago I had to go to the restroom at HH and it was not the best experience,. It this time... I did not cringe! Amazing job to the staff. Being there period I. The heat, with so many people is demanding but everyone handle it so well. They were friendly, helpful, and made themselves a available.

Loved hurricane harbor except the food lines and the over priced food and $12 dollar bottle of spray sunscreen.

It was overcrowded and the lines tmfor food were over an hour long

We are season pass holders for both park and it is in my opinion well worth the small price for a season pass. Both parks have a great mix of rides and attractions from little kid rides to just about as crazy as it gets. Pro tip : if you plan on coming back to the park the meal plan and refillable drink cup are a STEAL. The only draw back I would say is the heat and the crowds during peak dates. Other than that we love coming back !

The place smells like someone threw up. This is also the first lazy river I've seen where they don't give you a tube.

Needs some new rides but all in all its worth getting a season pass.

If you are over 250lbs or look like you are over weight. Do not buy a fast pass. Do not attempt to ride any rides....even if collectively you are under 400 pounds. You will walk up all those stairs with an awkward tube...be put on a scale..then a siren and red flash will say you can not ride...then forced to walk your fat self with shame all the way down. Never in my LIFE have I been so humiliated.

Awesome water rides. Great areas to sit. The park looked a little run down upon entering, but I dont want to judge a place based on what their painted pavement looks like. Most employees were friendly and helpful, towards the end of the day the food workers got slow and less friendly, maybe just because it was so hot. All in all, a great place that we plan to visit again.

We arrived around noon on a saturday and it was pretty busy which was expected. The wait time was about 20 minutes. It could've been quicker if the lines were structured or if they had a line attendant who would assign customers to different lines. Instead the people were jumping lines, switching in and out each time another line got shorter.

Security line was about 10 minutes.
Bag check 5 minutes.
Park entry line 5 minutes.

Upon entry we headed directly to the locker areas with excitement. We were finally about to get out of the heat and into the cool refreshing water. Oh no. Locker kiosk says sold out. We quickly headed to another locker site and...there's another line. After about another 10 minutes of waiting for people in line to figure out how to use the kiosk we finally got a locker, put our things up and headed to the wading pool to kick back.

Walking around I noticed alot of empty plates, cups and half eaten foods on the ground. There were workers constantly picking up trash but they just could not keep up with the crowd.

We arrive at the 1.6ft childrens wading pool and head into the water. My kids were so excited. I dip my head in to relieve myself from the scorching sun. The water looked clean and smelled very strongly of chlorine but in my opinion over chlorination was a good thing. There was a large circular waterfall/fountain type of attraction here. You could walk through the waterfall and sit on a concrete slab that encircled it. My kids enjoyed that.

After the wading pool we headed to the lazy river. Everyone was piling up their shoes on the entrances to the lazy river. There was a really bad foot stench at the entrance we found. Nearly shoulder to shoulder we waded around the river. For some reason there are small drop off points here. You have to keep track of their location otherwise you'd miss a step and end up with water up your nose. I was along the outer wall and learned that the drop offs near the wall were jaggedy so If you dont watch the drop off point you could scratch your foot up. Which is what happened to me.

We left after one trip around the river. Got our things and sold our locker to someone for half the price.

OVERALL I HAD AN DECENT TIME but not worth the price, wait time or crowd. Especially if you have kids who are young and can't do the ride/slide portion of it. Probably won't be returning for a long time.

This waterpark is very fun! The bathrooms smelt HORRIBLE! The food is very expensive. I suggest bringing a cooler of sandwich stuff and a chip bag of your choice and re enter once your done eating. We went on a Tuesday almost had the whole park to ourselves! But this is a fun waterpark! I am planning on coming again in the future!

Great water park to go to during the hot summer days. Parking was horrible and extremely long lines for everything else. Plastic chairs needs to replace I see too many broken and cracked chairs being used.

Love it here but man it gets crowded. It is Texas in the summer.

Hurricane Harbor has opened back up after covid. They appear to be handling things fairly well everything actually made sense, and we had a wonderful time! Highly recommended if you'd like to get back to actually having a summer!

The staff is friendly but aren't informed. We asked directions... they didn't know. We asked how the flash pass worked ...they didn't know. Seriously - every response today was: "I don't know."

This place was packed . They had to shut down the lazy river and wave pool pretty frequently due to people dirtying it up. Lines were long. Thai was the last day of summer before school started though. It was fun, but would recommend going when it's not as busy.

I was there along time ago with my family when it was Wet' n Wild. I was only in grade school then and I'm now in my 30's so it's been some time ago. But I don't really remember much about the service, but do recall that the food was expensive and we drove from Temple so my folks packed food for us ahead of time. But we know all too well on how these theme parks are run now, and I do know that back then in the 80's there were older life guards and now they are getting younger and younger all the time. It's too bad that someone has to either almost lose their life or actually die to make people wake up. I also notice that some of the rides have changed. But I guess that too is to be expected when either new owners take over a water park or however that worked out back then.
I don't know if any of you Texan's have been to the Wisconsin Dell's but they have some of the best water parks around! If you are ever up in that area in the summer, check it out you won't be sorry! Everyone have fun, and be safe!
