I'm sorry but Schlitterbahn is just so much more fun in every way. The lazy river here was just sad and the lines for the rides were all 30 minutes or more... And the rides were a good 10 seconds!!

regarding the review about long lines, overpriced food and screaming kids.....you apparently don't get out much. Any theme park has high prices, long lines and is tailored to families that have children. Children equates to little people that are predisposed and lacking emotional developmental maturity resulting in screaming, crying, yelling, overreacting. I have been twice this week and have had a wonderful time. It was alot of fun, lines weren't bad and you meals are enough for two people to eat. Great family fun and fun for any age kids or not. ONLY COMPLAINT--they need to fix cosmetics--bottom of pools and walking areas that are coming apart due to age.

The park hours were total let downs this year, in years past the hours have not only been slightly longer but the food places served lunch and dinner at better schedule as well feel like I wasted money on my pass for the first time in 5 consecutive years being a pass holder

Very good water park with good rides for all ages and for all 'skill' levels.
Facilities are alright but the food and drink is expensive (from Texas standard) and outside food drink is not allowed inside. Parking is $25!

So cool!

This is our second year with passes. I've learned that going early on weekdays is better than weekends. Even weekday nights are better. They have movie nights but the screen is facing the sunset so you miss half the movie lol. I have dining passes also which saves money it includes snacks and free refills if you buy a cup. Instructions on how to use your passes and dining pass should be less confusing and easier to access online.

GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO GET TREATED LIKE TRASH! Kids kept spitting on my family from high places, I almost got a broken arm and drowned because the lifeguard was ignoring my, one of the lifeguards had even laughed at me and said I deserved it! So much for a play for families. Kids we're crying because they wanted to a to Bahama Beach and parents almost pucked to the fact some used diapers we're on the ground and floating in the pool. This place is horrible and I wish I could rate it 0 stars

Nice place with lot of activity. Food price is very expensive without any sence. Also arrangements were not upto the mark. Very few maps that too also far away. There were no or minimum shades to go out of this heat.

Hurricane nachos only had one table spoon of meat. Went back to ask for more manager Lola sd she couldn't put anymore meat w/out charging me or exchange it for anythg else. She also sd she couldn't put it back on my dinning pass.

Hurricane Harbor is really worth a recommendation. There will be a large number of different slides. There is also a large wave pool. A circular whirlpool. An artificially produced wave and various lying options. The only negative points are the expensive entry and the amount of visitors. Sometimes you had to queue for a long time to slide.

Clean water park, but I only expect the best from Six Flags. The staff is generally nice and approachable. The lines for food need some better managing though as I spent 20 minutes waiting for a burger with only 2 people in front of me. Can't tell if the staff just doesn't care and works slow in the kitchen or what.

A+++

We've always loved Hurricane Harbor, but the quality of service has gone down hill. We've been twice this summer and experienced cashiers who do not speak English well, to dirty looks from custodial staff when asking for soap, and incredibly slow food lines with very few people in them. Hurricane Harbor needs to get it's act together.

Too crowded. Can't get on rides or get food not enough time because lines don't move fast enough and staff is not on the same page. Huge disappointment for a family of Diamond Elite Membership holders.

The place was a mad house. The parking lot was an absolute disaster. People seemed to be very, very rude. The amount of unattended small children running around was beyond belief. Not sure if we will be returning after today. Very disappointing.

We love the park. But it is disappointing that there is no way to contact costumer service (to get human on the phone). On FB page messenger I've got automatic response in Spanish something about "go to website"...

We came here for the movie night where they show you a movie and you hang out on a tube in the wave pool (no waves). It was a unique and fun experience. The park itself is cool and has a lot of options for rides, slides, and a lazy river. You can rent a tube or bring your own here. Also, if you bring an empty water bottle, they will fill it for you at any of the concession stands which I thought was really nice. We have a membership so we will be back for sure.

Overpriced food and drinks. The music is obnoxious and way to loud. There is no escape from it! You cant even tell when people are talking to you. You should be able to at least bring drinks in....

This place is absolutely wonderful I would recommend it to anybody and everybody the only thing I would suggest to them if they need to add a few more wheelchair friendly places and add a few more ramps here in there that does not look like mountain tops

Rides were nice we had fun BUT the service there Slow and Expensive $6 large drink $5 for 2 20oz. waters food is ok Burger & Fries $13 if you can smuggle in food and drinks do it. Concession lines are long the workers practically felt like I was hated for ordering anything. I am very polite to the people that are handling my food and drinks because well bad things can happen. Sad thing is we live close and thought about buying season passes after our visit I will not be giving them any of our hard earned money anytime soon

Me and my family get season passes every summer and love it. It's the best water park I've been to, and I've been to a few! Prices are high but you can always get stamped, go eat somewhere cheap, and come back. Love it.

went on a Monday and there were still alot of people there, I definitely wouldn't have wanted to be there on a weekend. We showed up about 9:25 am to get a parking spot. They opened the lot at 9:30. General parking was 25 preferred was 35. The website said the park opened at 10:30am but they opened the doors at 10 am i thought it was just for season pass holders and members early entrance but they let us in too. We were able to grab some chairs we left our towels there all day and no one ever bothered them. The rides weren't that busy for the first hour but about noon there would've probably been at least a 30 to 45 min ride for most rides but we got 2 flash passes and I rode 21 rides it probably could have been 40 but we kept switching the flash passes between the 4 of us. The way the flash passes work is you reserve your ride at the flash pass kiosks there pretty close to the rides. But the one by the black hole was a good walk but the scanner was broken at the black hole so i only reserved it once and was able to ride 4 times in a row without going to the kiosks again. The flash pass only lets you cut in front of the people on the bottom of the rides, the people waiting for tubes. I don't know how the three really tall body slides work with the passes because I didn't ride them. But I feel like the money was worth the flash passes. I never had to wait longer than 15-20 mins to ride. And alot of rides it was 5 minutes, the blue raider was basically just walk right on over and over. The staff didn't seem very friendly but I would be bummed if I had to work when so many people are having that much fun. We ate in the car so i didn't buy any food or drinks. I never smelled a bad smell like most people commented about. The park wasn't really dirty either as other reviews said. Overall it was a blast. Don't go in expecting everything to be perfect, and you'll probably enjoy yourself. And get the flash passes if you can. Well worth it.

Nice

Man this place was absolutely disgusting.

Man this place was absolutely disgusting.
Six Flags has become a vile company indeed.

I hope none of us end up too sick, but it looks like my daughter is ill after less than 2 hours at this overcrowded and disgusting place.

This place probably needs to be shutdown.
The sights and smells of this place literally almost made me vomit. I had heaves.

Wave pool was closed after a small accident in the shallow end was announced over the speakers.
I m 99% sure that accident was excrement in the water.
The kiddie area with spray guns was closed and the lifeguard tasked with keeping people away said I don t know when asked where I could take a little one. He really just wanted out of there.

The ground everywhere felt covered in wet grease.

I used a urinal once and it had a lugi sitting on top of the supposed to be dry part. Parking and parking lot traffic was chaos.

Without a doubt this was the grossest thing I ve seen in my life.
Six Flags is circling the drain and good riddance is not too far away.

Hurricane Harbor = truly awful.

Our family visited here over the Labor Day weekend...

Our family visited here over the Labor Day weekend. We prepaid everything online and everything went smoothly getting into the park. We originally bought the shaded lounge chair package but was told it was only for 2 people. Meaning literally only two people would be allowed into the area so we upgraded to the next level cabana and it was nice. The free seating was plentiful when we were there so it s not always necessary but the shade was nice to have. We didn t receive our free water but did get a two tube rental with purchase of the cabana. We also bought the fast passes and they were definitely an added bonus. Allowed us to ride all the rides in the park within the first hr and a half of being in the park. The food service was pretty quick. The bar service was inconsistent though. We were interested in the Jell-O shots but none were prepared at 12 or at 4pm when we checked back. I had two of the same drinks while there and both were different. Not sure how that happened. The bathrooms are as expected in a water park, dirty and generally gross. The rides were great though. The lifeguards are hit and miss as well. Some are on it. Others watch kids wrestling and dunking each other and being rough around smaller kids without acknowledging any of it for their safety or others. The wave pool was nice but again some life guards let people hang out in the entry and exits causing unnecessary crowding and issues. Overall everything was fun and we definitely made the most of our time there.

Scream your lungs out and be ready to be tanned.. If visiting this place and have one day to cover, flash pass is what I recommend.. We were gang of 5 and flash pass helped a lot to finish our rides in a day

My husband and children are season pass holders. They went to hurricane harbor in Arlington today. The employees there were EXTREMELY rude. One working a concession stand told them F**k you dumbass. When they couldn't get their order right and they asked for a manager. Then said here's my badge, shoved it in his face and said f**king call my manager. Security showed up and somehow they made it out to be my family's fault not theirs. Also they tried talking to multiple lifeguards, just being nice, and the first one said AWFUL GO...when my husband said hey how's your day when he was getting ready to go down the slide. The next one was on the tsunami surge. My 8 year old son was on the tube with my husband and as the lifeguard gets ready to push them down he says "hey try not to die!" Seriously!!! My son was completely freaked out because of the kid that died at schlitterbaun that he's seen on the news. He was crying and screaming the whole way down thinking he was going to get hurt or die. This is absolutely not acceptable!!! Also the grass and trees were so bad that u basically had to push crap out of the way to get to some rides. We have been gold season pass holders for several years. After this we will be cancelling the hurricane harbor portion and will NEVER BE BACK. Also when the security issue referenced previously happened your manager and security tried to tell my husband not to curse because at this point he was pissed at how this employee acted to him in front of our kids. However, they NEVER SAID A WORD to the employee!! So it's obviously ok for your employees to treat people like pure crap and talk to them like their crazy but customers aren't allowed to get upset in return. I planned on buying 6 gold passes for my nieces and nephews for xmas but that will NEVER happen now and I will take my money to another park.

My kids always have a blast here and 6 flags the lines are a bit to long tho definitely are unable to get on more than like 3 or 4 rides per visit but the lazy river and wave pool area make up for it.

I went to hurricane harbor with my mom. I bought a butter pretzel. I had to wait 20 minutes for it to cook. Once it finished I was handed the pretzel in my hand on a yellow sheet of wax paper. The pretzel was so hot I had to ask my mom for a towel to hold it. The pretzel along with the butter burned my hands while I pleaded for a box or tray to put it in. Long story short I was given a fresh pack of napkins un opened while I managed to earn near through the pretzel to my mom. The park security Aid finally came after my mom insisted some one give me ice and wrap my burn. The biggest problem I have is the White people ahead of me recieved their pretzel in a food tray, I didn't after requesting one more then 3 times. I was almost begging. Please dude I need a box. My visit was cut short, i didn't get to ride on the rest of the water rides and i didn't enjoy my pretzel. What a hassle! My hand still burns from the butter dripping and hot pretzel given to me. I give this visit 1 star. I wouldn't give any but that was not an option.
