Huge water park! Bring water shoes to move around the park as the pavement gets extremely hot. Single tubes can be rented for $8 and Double tubes are $10. Plenty of places for you to seek shade too.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Please be advised before you waste your money and time that they now have weight limits for rides! If you are even a pound over, you WILL NOT ride any rides. I was weighed and denied rides in front of everyone! It was absolutely humiliating! I have never experienced that kind of embarrassment in my entire life (mind you, I am only 3lbs over the "limit")!!!! My husband and I drove over 5 hours to come to Hurricane Harbor. We paid 75 for tickets and another 80 for fast passes and couldnt ride anything!! It is minblowing that we could not ride by ourselves (weight limit 250lbs), but there is a two person weight limit of 400lbs on the same ride! I asked management to explain the logic and she had no answer! So 400lbs is ok but 250 isnt??? On the same ride?! I wouldnt recommend this park to any people on the larger side!! Please save yourself the complete humiliation and waste of money!
Went there 7/5/17 and will not be back. Rides are advertised as awesome and awe-inspiring thrill rides . When I walked in, I was immediately disappointed by the (non) helpful attitude by the park employees in directing me where best I could use a locker and if I got a discount being a membership holder .
They said they didn t know. I had to find out for myself that I got my first locker rental for $5.
The park itself is smaller than I thought it d be. Slides are outdated and lines are very slow moving.
Stayed here from opening time (10:30 am) to about 1:30. Checked into our hotel and spent the rest of the afternoon and night across the freeway at Six Flags Over Texas and had a great time.
Great Waterpark however bad with all the smoking areas. Even though they are assigned areas the wind carried the smoke to where we were with our children. Even though they are a small park they do need a map still. Long lines for food, drink refills and slides. Still had a great time since we was with our family.
I bought the elite diamond pass so we could visit all that six flags owns and this water park ran by there owns rules. When talked to the manager of this park he said its his park his way not six flags. One time around in the lazy river no float devices in the wave pool even for kids. Wearing masks while wading in the water or walking from one ride to another. very harassing and horrible experience will not come here to this park ever.
The lines were too long and the food was terrible. The staff ignores everyone and just exists. Spent an hour and thirty minutes to wait to get on a ride. Over priced and not worth it.
Great place to have fun with your friends and family! The big issue usually they have, that is lack of PARKING, specifically on weekend! And low quality fast food!
It's a great place and I had a good time but the ground was hot I wish there was something they could put on the ground to make it less hot and if they could clean the pools more that would be great because when I go under the water seaps into my mouth and it tastes bad but other than that than that the slides were lit and the wave pool was awesome.
It would be nice if the park stayed open later. It's always so crowded. I don't know why they allow big tubes in the lazy river when it's crowded as heck.
Sucked. Went today, July 3rd. Took an hour and a half to park. They let entirely too many people in. Was trying to get a couple burgers and fries took 40mins because the girl making them was smiling, joking, and playing on her phone. All the people taking orders besides one was on their phone fiddling around on their phones, some food was prepared just sitting there. The worst place I have ever taken my family to. Couldn't even walk around the park without bumping into someone. Overall worst experience. Food is crappy, recommended eating McDonald's.
Went to HH today. Had alot of fun! I would suggest probably going on a weekday thats not friday as it was pretty crowded. Went on the slides with a friend. Lines were really long but thats due to the weekend im sure. Loved the lazy river after all those slides. Nice way to relax. Only real complaint i have is of the flash pass. Dont waste your money on it like me. Shelled out 65 for a platinum. Used it on one ride. The system for flash pass is not very efficient at HH like it was at six flags. Oh and if you can dish out the $$$ get a cabana! We got the premium so we had drinks in a fridge waiting for us and food and drink wait service! Its nice so youre not fighting for a chair or shade especially if you go with people who cant handle the sun very well like i did. It was pricey but worth it! Overall it was a good trip! And make sure you apply that sunscreen lots and lots throughout your day. Easy to get burned to a crisp if youre not careful
Very long lines, the worst is concession stands where these people are not motivated at all! Free drink refill cup? Plan to stand in line for 30-60 minutes to get your "free refill"!
This place was disgusting. Could have been a little more themed as a six flags water park but is still just wet and wild. But wet and wild would have kept it looking better. Rge lazy river water was cloudy and dirty. Obviously poor filtration system I've been to some of the Disney water parks and their water is crystal clear constantly there's no excuse. It is obvious with the Texas theme park of four six flags and their water park that they are letting it run down and not dumping any money into it to fix up areas the entire Hurricane Harbor needs a complete overhaul and is a really really poor reflection of Six Flags entertainment
Had a blast it was cool especially if you have a member pass you get good parking and good sitting area for your belonging. Hated the fact the wave pool was open until towards the end of closing but other than that had a blast with my wife and kids
The park is great. When u eat make sure u eat at jbs they have the best turkey legs and chips. all the water slides are good and the kids water park is very great to take the kids to. But make sure before u leave to refill up on drinks.
We are six flags members and go often to Hurricane Harbor. Like any theme park there are good and bad employees. Fortunately at this one there are more good than bad. If there is a negative thing I would say heavier people over 250 have a few rides that they can't participate in. I am just shy of 240 so there were no problems. The lines get long on the weekends. So if you can go on a weekday, choose that. The food is good but not as good as Six Flags. The tube rides are fun. The splash pads are awesome.
What you would expect from a large water park in the middle of the Metroplex. I would give 5 stars if the parking set up was better. You enter on one end then funnel everyone to the opposite end. If you don't get there early you'll have to walk pretty far (for little flip flopped feet). Maybe provide a little shuttle??
All the rides I was able to go on in a day was fun and thrilling. Yes there is a wait but thats to be expected. "Good things come to those who wait" And the rides where indeed worth it. If you're stressed out and just need a break from your day-to-day activities this is the place ya needa be.
I was sitting on my rollator seat ( Walker), waiting to get into the Diamond Oasis reserved seating area,. They didn't open until 3 pm. And one of the workers there told me I couldn't sit (with my rollator ) there. I wasn't trying to sneak in. I was just waiting patiently until they opened. It really hurt me, what she said. Bc I am disabled. I can't walk far or stand very long. So. I left and waited at the end of the ramp. My family lives in Oklahoma. We specifically came to Hurricane harbor today. And Six flags yesterday. So, everyone could experience fun and relax. There are 22 people in our group, including small children. This is the second vacation we've taken together as a family. The last one was 25 years ago. Even though I can't get in the water I enjoy watching my family have fun. I FEEL AS IF THIS EMPLOYEE TOOK SOME OF MY JOY AWAY FROM ME. . I wish there was some training done regarding visitors with handicapped devices . I'm rating it 2 stars bc of the initial employee contact. It should be noted that another employee came down the ramp and tried to help me. THANK GOD FOR THAT SECOND EMPLOYEE. I'm still waiting. We'll see how that goes.
You can tell they're really trying to squeeze every dollar they can out of this place at the expense of the customers actually enjoying themselves. A few years ago this was a fun place and the longest I ever waited to get on a slide was a little less than 30 minutes. Now the wait for the rides is separated into 2 lines. If you purchased a "speed pass" you can skip the first line, which makes those in that line have to wait that much longer. No coolers or even your own water bottles are allowed. Food and drinks have gone up astronomically in price. My kids waited 2 hours in line just to ride the Black Hole. The staff is also rude and apathetic. Most of them look bothered just to have to refill your drink. When this park was still Wet'n'Wild it was a fun family experience. Six Flags made it just another giant cash register.
Long lines, slow moving, horrible service. Kids there (not all) don't care. It's very dirty, especially the men's restroom. Cold funnel cakes! We have the Platinum pass, but we can not use the prefered parking there. I only go there for the kids. These guys need a new boss that can coach them in guest services. Lots of money is spent there and guest should be treated much better
Awesome place to visit. Today I took my family here and we all had a blast.. Just make sure to take water and some sandwiches because it's very expensive. Won't let you take it inside but can come out to your car and drink water and food..
Way to crowded, they need to limit the number of people. I have been to more expensive water parks that were way better, mostly because of crowd control. I have a season pass and wont be back.
I absolutely enjoy coming here on a hot summer day as there are plenty of rides and fun things to do here and the life guards are well trained and on point . Now I hope that Six Flags reads this next part because this place needs a bit of a face lift. When you go on their website it will tell you the year all of their rides were opened and I have to say the age of these rides is definitely starting to show. Don't get me wrong, everything looks safe and fun but when you compare it to the water parks in say Florida, those places seem to be on another level. I'm not asking for there to be a giant volcano in the middle of the the park like Volcano Bay but some paint, better landscaping and some new asphalt in the parking lot will really make this place more appealing to the eye.
Everything is great. Lockers are a bit pricey, the cheapest is $16. The food is pricey, but expected for an amusement park, expect to spend anywhere between $4-6 for a meal. The staff is always nice and the park is clean. They do need to work on being better prepared in the morning, such as parking and having an attendant at the rides once the park opens.
I would suggest coming as early as possible (9:30ish) for best parking and earlier entry. Expect long lines and wait times during the peak of day, anywhere between 20-45 minutes or more.
I've found Tuesdays the best day to go as typically the park doesn't get over crowded until around 1ish.
If you're not ready to carry inner tubes up flights of stairs don't expect to ride the slides.
And please for your safety bring water shoes! The park does it's best to keep the ground watered down but the concrete WILL burn your feet!
Edit (6/6/19): Due to the incident with the woman who got injured at Six Flags Over Texas they now weigh you at most rides to ensure that you do not exceed the weight limit. Most double riders max weight is 400 lbs combined, the 4 rider is 700 lbs and the Sea Wolf is 600 lbs.
They provide weigh stations so you know which ones you can ride on before waiting in line.
This place is so nasty. The bathrooms are nasty. The ground is nasty. The lazy river is nasty. Like seriously the water is filthy. The oarking is outragiously expensive. 25 dollars to park? Thats insane. And its hard to enjoy the lazy river when all you smell is raw sewage all around. Its just nasty. Its just not worth it. Save your money and go to one of the many other water parks around DFW. Most of them are even far more affordable than this dump.
Clean water and genuine fun; Hurricane Harbor is an all around good time! Every ride is a thrill, and the lines typically aren't long enough to dampen your spirits. The lazy river makes for a fun way to get around the park, and even serves almost as a ride itself. This park has some great amenities: large bathrooms, food stops, lockers for your belongings, etc. A great place to spend the day with the family or with friends. Don't forget the sunscreen!
This workers here are so lazy & young. I had a complimentary ticket for food & she was like where you get this? I'm like from here. She didn't even knew how to use it. I'm like scan it. Pow done! I go for a refill & he sees me & walks to the back for about 5 mins. Worst customer service.
You will never get tired at a water park. Down to the lazy river, to the highest slide. It's such a huge park but alsp grab theyr Dining Passes. You have literally countless dollars if you love to eat like me the Dining pass is amazing.
Totally awesome experience for the whole family!!! Even for me being due to have a baby in 3 weeks I still had a great time... will most definitely be coming back
Place was packed!!!! Super long lines, even the wave pool and lazy river had a line because of Covid. Park I thought was supposed to be at half capacity and it didn't seem like it at all. Dosen't make any sense that you have to have a mask on when entering the park and while in line to order food, but you dont need a mask on when standing in line to ride or on while walking around the park. Spent most of the day standing in lines.
This dump deserves zero stars! Filthy with garbage everywhere - even in the water! Staff is rude and doesn't care! Ride restrictions are NOT clearly posted on ALL rides. Over priced. Zero organization. DON'T GO HERE!
To make it clear, this is not a rating for the park but the e commerce platform. How on earth do you justify a benefit of "Buy Now" online ticket where you charge Subtotal $36.99 Tax $2.96 Processing Fee $8.99 Total $48.94 vs Buy at the gate $42 Where on earth is the benefit ?????????????????
