First time I've been in over 20 years. Was much better maintained and didn't show its age like it's sister property across the street. The staff seemed happier to be there and was eager to help. Food was average quality and overpriced. We got there when it opened and it wasn't busy. That changed by 2:00. We left shortly after that but had a good time. Will go again soon.

I am in the park right now, we have been here since they opened. There has been no food or drinks throughout the park. I've heard several guests approach supervisors and security and they have shrugged and walked away. The guests aren't being rude, just wondering why everything in the park is still closed or out of items and still open. Come on hurricane harbor.
I went shopping at the gift shop 3 employee at the register line to the entrance omg lost my patients, I asked the employee if they could open a other register stated yes never happened their loss I threw everything down walked out very bad atmosphere noone cares customers saying that noone cares they have reported them and no one ever called to explain so sad such a historical place millions of people look forward to come visit prayers for everyone
They obviously don't have maximum capacity rules, can be WAY overcrowded. People steal your chairs and look through your stuff, so watch out for that. Kids have fun though, which is all that matters. Lots of rude people, food is overpriced but nachos are good. Got there at 10 since they let pass holders in early but the concessions didn't open til almost 11:30, so it's 100 degrees out and can't get anything to drink, great plan.
My family always has a great time! I really enjoyed the lazy river, it's controlled how many people enter due to social distancing, makes it a lot more relaxing...no kids jumping all over you as u try to relax. The loaded curly fries are sooo good!
The smallest most boring water park. Did Six Flags forget this is the metroplex? I've been to way better parks in smaller areas. This place needs serious upgrades.
This is a good getaway for the summer. I wouldn't go if it wasn't for our membership passes. The membership is truely the best option if you have the time to use it frequently. Take your own tubes and bring a picnic lunch in a cooler in the car because the food is greatly overpriced.
Me and my family have traveled to seveveral Great America Parks during our summer vacations. We all have a great time, but at Texas ,the staff and people makes us feel at home,it's awsome !!!!!
My son got lost as i turned my back for a quick second. As i ran around frantically looking for him and asked a life guard for help she looked at me with not a care in her eyes and told me she couldnt help me i had to go lost parents center and get him when he cant even read!!! I told her that with no help. There needs to be better protocols for this it was y Terrifying i found him with no help and he was so scared when i found him.
DO NOT RIDE THE BLACK WHOLE WITH ANYTHING LOOSE ON. THE MOTOR UNDER ME SUCKED MY SWIMSUIT AND COVER UP IN ITS MOTOR RIGHT AS WE TOOK OFF. THE SCARIEST EXPERIENCE. I WAS LEFT WITH A LARGE WHOLE IN BOTH SWIMSUIT AND COVERUP..AND MY BUTT OUT. GUEST RELATIONS SAID THEY'LL CHECK ON IT. THEY BOUGHT A NEW SWIMSUIT AND COVER UP FOR ME..BUT MY DAY WAS RUINED SO I LEFT.
It's a ok waterpark but for some reason you are not allowed to change your clothes inside the public dressing room I started to take my street clothes off and some guy started to go off on me at for undressing in it there was just me a kid his dad and another guy I sat on the bench to take my clothes off and this guy just went off on me for taking my clothes off told me I'm supposed to undress in the shower stall but at Waterworld in Denver I never had that happen to me before now I'm a bit nervous to even go back there if people there are that crazy think I'll just take my business some place else
Staff under trained. For a water park you would think the path ways would be free from rocks and debree. It wasn't. The restrooms were Not cleaned from the day before. We got there when it opend and the main bathroom had 4 toilets out of six. That were full of fecies. Very disappointed. Especially after How much they charge at this establishment. Its just a reflection of management..
It is what you make it and for us it was a great time. Prices are like most amusement parks. But some of the food booths were very slow. Should make some lines just for refills. But overall a great time.
Personally I'd say don't ride The Joker, the joke will be on you lol. But a lot of the rides are really fun. I'm scared of roller coasters myself but i really enjoy going. The Batman, The Titan, New Texas Giant, and Magic Mountain i believe are alot of fun but extreme lol
Social distancing was being maintained. Rides seemed clean. Attendants were disinfecting tubes beaten each rider. Food ordering by app is also very convenient. We spent three hours there. Very fun.
Was VERY busy! The park was nice otherwise. I can definitely tell it was once a Wet-N-Wild. I ll update more when we experience more of the park we got rained out and the park closed early.
Half the rides were closed, long concession lines. Visiting from okc and my dining plan is NOT valid at this park. Therefore didnt stay as long as I would have liked because I refuse to pay the prices they charge for food when I've already purchased a season dining pass.
My family and I arrived just as lunch was ending but if we are in line before 2:30 for food it's OK... or should be. I moved to a faster lane but it was still 4pm by the time I got to the window. The SUPERVISOR there said that "since it was already 4 they were not doing lunch but rather the dinner (for the pre-paid meals) we raised a stink, and I head to the customer service center. While I was there my wife was able to get our special needs son his lunch but she was unable to get ours. I informed CS about this and they were able to get the lunches for my wife and myself. The drama does not end there because as my family and I are eating our food two grown men start arguing and cussing LOUDLY, with many small children around. I speak up stating that I don't care what the argument was about but they should be more mindful of the surrounding children, and then one has to turn to me and start with the name calling and further foul language. I go to the food counter once again telling them that they need security there. Suffice to say, neither one of those "men" were asked to leave. My family and I have had good experiences at this park in the past (and no doubt in the future too) but today has to be one of the least enjoyable visits to this park.
My young kids loved coming but I gave it 1 star because the food lines have been a long going problem and need to be fixed. I was in line with only 3 people in front of me and I had to wait more than an hour just to order something to eat. oh.. and something died in the lockers. everyone could smell it.
On Tue. 6/23/15 I had taken my family. With signs posted all over the park that dinner was until 7pm. We made our plans. At 6:40 we tried to get in line to eat and we're told they were closed. I had spent thousands of dollars on park and dining passes. After getting customer services involved, we were allowed to eat. But forced to listen to nasty comments from the staff. I was so embarrassed. This will definitely weigh on my decision to get passes in 2016.
Enjoyable, fun, busy! The employees that man the rides I noticed there was ZERO communication, you'd think they'd explain things as you're standing in front of the ramp to actually get on the rides. Very rude, unsafe practice. I hope you read the directions on what to do and how to ride the ride, their employee isn't going to explain anything! Other than that the lazy river is where I found refuge!
It gets 3 stars because of the over populated days of customers because they made getting season passes easy for everyone and their momma to get. The more people attending, the longer the lines and the less you get to do.
You all should be ashamed of yourself for asking a breastfeeding mother to leave. By law, a breastfeeding feeding mother may do so anywhere she has a legal right to be. You should probably train all your employees on the law and how to have some compassion.
Typical water park fare, though can be a bit expensive if you plan to get any food or souvenirs. Additionally they have flash passes for certain rides to schedule line jumps, for a per-person fee. Fairly accesible for patrons with disabilities, though many rides require you to climb stairs to get to the starting point. Most rides which require a floatation device also require you to carry it to the top of the ride. They have added scales so riders may weigh themselves to determine total weight before boarding rides, and some rides require all riders to be weighed before boarding. Please note, this weight will be measured at the top of the ride just before you get on, so it is recommended to "know your limits" before making the climb. Plenty to do for a few hours if you are not riding rides. Wait times for rides vary, but plan for 20-30 minutes or so.
Best Time is during school hours lol.. Fun for the whole family and so big in much to do. As well they have great packages as well to Six Flags and Hurrican Harbor..
Too many people and not enough food station. We are on the food plan and it took us 1 hr 1/2 to get drinks and a snack. And the lazy river and the wave pool was elbow to elbow! I except crowds and long wait but that was the worst I have ever seen. But the water ride were awsome! And the waits for that was not that bad!
Horrible staff customer service is rare and no way they are following safter standards did not enjoy the first trip nor have I any time after that. If it wasnt for my kid and wife wanting to go to get our the house would waste my time
Would be a 5 star if it wasn't for the EXTRA LONG and SLOW food lines!!! They really need a better system ASAP!!! They should have a couple of food lines specifically for food card holders and others just for cash/debit. Awesome slides!!!! I like the fact that you can bring your own floaties. Lazy river is great with a floatie!!! We are season pass holders and have food cards which was a great price and more than pays for itself.
