Wanted prezel dog was told they only took credit cards I had cash so that was out , Margaritaville restaurant said it was going to be a 30 minute wait even on something as small as a salad, and if my Plane was departing in 30 minutes that would be pushing it close plane end up leaving later than scheduled I hadn't eaten since breakfast, the service from what I experienced was extremely none customer service oriented. Silver airlines was hot and very stink. We was only going to TAMPA FL IT TOOK OVER AN HOUR. I WOULD HAVE RATHER DRIVEN.

Thursday Jan 4 2019 complete chaos waiting for rental bus!!!!! Line ups 200 people and more unbelievable very unprofessional for an international airport!

This airport is nice in some terminals, but dirty and old in other terminals. They are slowly updating it. But it's taken them since 2014 to get half done. We fly in once a year to this airport. The workers are not very nice, and just do as they please with the customers. Because we aren't "their" customers. We had an issue with spirit this trip, but I understand their reasoning so I am not rating this based on spirit. It's not the airports fault.

Everytime same story..this place the worst of all...plaine on time...but u have to wait over an hour to get a gate...and then one hour for laguage...this is ridiculous..shame of you guys..a stupid joke for Hollydays..thank you

The car rental returns is somewhat shambolic. Allow an extra 10 - 20 minutes if you are returning a rental car.

The shuttle buses to terminals are also a bit annoying. It would not seem too difficult to create much quicker walkways from/to car rentals.

When we travelled, they body scanned every passenger through security which is quite slow. Most airports have metal detectors and scan a lot less people.

All in all, it took nearly an hour from joining the car return queue to get to the gate and so had little time to do much else. The airport terminal is spacious, clean and tidy with a wide range of food retailing. Didn t see any duty free shops.

I ve been to many airports in my time and can say this one isn t that bad. They re working on renovating it and it s easy to navigate, clean and comfortable.

This airport is horrible. The flow of passengers just to get people bags are horrible. I left in ample time to get food after returning from cruise just to stand in another line for one hour. The delta attendant that was directing the flow was very unprofessional and rude. If you are even considering flying from here word from the wise pay the extra money and fly from Miami. I will never fly from this airport again. Come early to ensure you don't miss your flight and stand and wait while they put you in extra long lines off to the side of the original line that you are supposed to be going through. Horrible experience. You live and you learn....never again and i was so displeased with Delta.....delta needs to retrain their unprofessional staff.

The airport is not equipped for large crowds. If you are flying home after a cruise do not fly thru FLL. They do not have enough seating, very few charging stations and only a couple of restaurants.

Add to this dirty bathroom's and disgruntled staff and this one of the worst airports I have been to.

Worst service ever. Waited an hour for my bus and almost missed my flight. Never coming back here again. Would give 0 stars if possible

One of the worst international airports I have ever been too. Restaurant choices are slim to none and every one worth going too has a line with 50 people or more that has no intention of moving. Even the designated smoking areas are sub par

Very efficient and friendly airport. I drive from Miami to fly out of here, because they offer better domestic destinations and better prices.

Baggage service sucks. Shuttle is the slowest ever. And people.....

The airport was clean and beautiful. There are limited services due to COVID so customer service seemed strained throughout the entire airport. Everything was fine until I attempted to board and encountered Spirit Airline's Baggage Police=( Double check their policies before booking tickets so you're prepared and your flight is enjoyable arriving AND departing.

If I could give 0 stars you bet I would. Worst airport I've ever been forced to travel through. Avoid at all costs.

I fly every week out of south Florida to all over the country for 21 years

17 years ago I switched from MIA to FLL due to their extreme inefficiency

FLL was amazing until a year or so ago

They must have hired the moron that messed up MIA

During peak hours there are bottle necks all over

Clearly no one who is in charge ever shows up to airport during peak times to fly or to work

Even to enter clear tsa you need to get in to a line with 100 first time flyer

It takes your uber 30 min to even get in to arrivals Thursday s after 9

I approached the disability person's service desk for assistance because apart from the airline desk, there was no other help desk in terminal 4. The two ladies on the desk, one of whom was too busy on her cellphone chat, were dismissive and rude. I asked for a senior member of staff and they laughed and wished me luck, before turning their attention back to their cell phones.
Poor customer representation is not acceptable in any airport - and certainly not in the USA

Inside of the airport is pretty bleak. No water filling stations and a small bottle of water costs $5 dollars. Airline staff were nice and professional, though.

Not sure why there are all these high ratings for this airport. Employees were rude and the signage was very poor. Not to mention the design of the terminals is very poor and causes the only hallway to access the gates to be extremely crowded when people are lining up to get on a flight.

The curbside luggage employees are rude and have a eyes half open look about them. Inside the carpet is worn, they have one bathroom, there was a bird living inside the waiting area and was pooping all over the place. This place needs much better management.

FLL airport is overall decent. Parking, rental cars, and various shuttles are strategically placed throughout the property. The bathrooms are dated however they have a lot of electronic ports that makes recharging a breeze. A better food variety of resturaunts would be a nice addition too.

The first TSA agent I interacted was very nice and made a few jokes with my kids. He gave my daughter clearance and directed her not to take off her shoes. When I got to the 2nd checkpoint the rude agent directed her to take off her shoes (after being cleared) and told my other daughter, "Wow, she has the nerve to come though the line with her cell phone in her pocket! In a very condescending sarcastic tone.

I do realize the overall culture of FLL/Miami residents are blunt/rude/pushy/snobbish in general but TSA agents are there to perform a job. Travelers from around the world should not share the same experience. Customer service training is desperately needed.

I had a lay over that almost ruined a vacation but the locals are great in most cases. Had a good time at the local restaurants and malls as well

Clean and efficient with desks and electrical outlets good for getting work done at JetBlue terminal.

One of the clean and nice airports in US. But, employees at the entrance to the terminal need to learn politeness. They know how to spoil a good mood after a rest.

Not a very nice aorpirt to arrive . Departure is ok but arrivals generally late (due to gate availability ) very slow baggage and immigration . Worst than MIA if that's even possible. Over 2.5 hrs from landing to exit .Avoid when it's an option .

Easy in and getting out a little slower but that's how dropoff and pickup usually goes. Never that bad always moving.

No Verizon signal in baggage area other than across the "street" under a ratty umbrella, unless you want to help the smokers with their bags, etc. I also could not find any restaurants outside of security.

Told to get here 2 hours early and there weren t even any gate agents at Delta and the line was through the terminal. Then only one coffee shop open and over 50 people in line. Very poor customer service here

It was a great experience for me. I don't think it's of everyone's like because of the weather, it rains regularly but I don't mind it. The places I visited were all awesome. You must have a car to be able to visit the many beautiful places there are. I loved it and am going back in a month for a longer stay.

it takes them twenty years just to take bags from a plane to a belt. airport is not that big, and I have received my bags faster at a larger airport. They need to do better. Than they keep changing the belt your bag is on.

Who knows an agent name working at the FLL airport United checking point , he looks like 60s , with gray hair and black skin , dark blue and gray suit , about 5 8 or 5 9 height , He has very bad altitude , this is my first time saw a person work in our company with this kind of rude altitude , I was helping my parents checking their luggages, I only asked him one simple question just want to make sure their luggages will go all the way to Beijing China , he said with a very bad altitude You work for this company too , you should know where your luggages go , you should read on the screen when you check you luggages! I was carrying my baby standing in front of him , talking nicely to him , I wish there were cameras record how bad his altitude was! I don t think anybody deserves this kind of rude altitude to start a fresh day .

The washrooms are not as clean as I expected, they were stinky and thw soap was so cheap you could not do any foam with it in comparison with the Midway airport

Excellent location, very friendly officers and very efficient service.

Horrible experience getting to and from rental cars pickup/return when flying delta. When we landed the car rental center signs just ended outside and we had no idea where to go. Finally we went back in terminal after walking outside for a while and had to go up the elevator then down another elevator to get to the rental car walkway. I prepaid Alamo to go to straight to the car and they did not have the car ready...so i had to settle for lesser car than what I reserved months earlier. Then returning the wrong rental car was even worse. To get from the car rental return to terminal 2 where delta is you have a take a shuttle, problem is the shuttle line was over an hour long wait and outside in the hot sun since we had kids we didn t want to wait that long. I asked and no one knew for sure if you could walk to terminal 2 so we just started trying to figure it out and after getting pieces of information from multiple people we figured it out. we had to go down to floor 1 in the parking garage then up to floor 7 and walk across a car only bridge to get to different elevators to go back down to floor 1 and there sits 3 trams with no one on them and no line of people. At this point we had already walked half way to terminal 2. Bottom line is their setup is horrible.

My friends and I went into the waiting room, we had a British cat, a black man in gay pants and rubber boots runs to us and picks up the cat, then he takes out a bag of sand and spills it on the cat and starts yelling at the whole room: " Russian Schweinhunt! "
I had to shoot a Negro with a tranquilizer, after which we were fined $ 2,500 for violating personal space and racism ...

BEWARE the RED STRIPE restaurant They will rip you off

The food wasnt very good I overlooked that until we got the bill for a 17.50 mojito I ordered it without knowing the price thinking the average price is 9 to 11 dollars.They dont care about you they just care about you money beware. If they charge this much for a little drink they are not worried about the quality in your food or service.

Awesome airport.. very easy to navigate around. Just don't get intimated by the map. Everything is very nicely marked.. so dropping people off for flights.. car rental and return is very easy to get to. Excellent food selection. Changing ports for phones etc all over. Very friendly yet very professional employees.

I was impressed with the service at the airport. I would not have enjoyed my trip if I hadn't received the assistance.

Terminal C is clean, airy, Free High Speed WIFI, seats are with electrical outlets.

Alright, so first off the employees need an attitude adjustment. I understand that not everyone genuinely enjoys their life, but come on have to courtesy and respect for your customers. Secondly, compared to other airports...on an overall level this airport is like Ryan leaf and all the other airports I've been to are Peyton manning. My buddy and I paid 25 dollars for TWO SANDWICHES AND A WATER. I can get an entire meal for my family for 24 dollars at McDonald's or Wendy's or even like 2 pizzas from Pizza Hut but no I had to suffice for two poorly put together sandwiches because it was the only kind of food place in the whole airport! We're already paying you a crap ton for the plane ticket but I have to pay 25 dollars for sandwiches also? This airport is a disgrace to the city of Fort Lauderdale. The whole city is very nice but this airport is crap. 25 dollars for sandwiches. Bs

Unfortunately the Duty Free is still being built. No bathrooms in the lower level where Gate C is located which is annoying. All in all it's a nice and easy airport. When they complete the construction it should be a small, nice and convienent airport to travel through.

Horrible airport their staff is horrible they don't know how to explain anything they made me lose my damn flight I had the worst experience ever.

Well it was a bit quiet. Lots of things closed. Limited options due to the pandemic. Staff very patient. Also seemed to be working on a lot of different projects around the airport. The terminal I was in (B) had 2 fully working womans bathrooms for my 6hr layover. They were fixing plumbing in one of them.

It was fairly clean and people were spaced out. They had limited places for congregation and also had lots of signs reminding one socially distance.

Good clean fast airport. As usual TSA staff with attitudes. No respect for travellers. Heard giving their attitude to fellow travellers for no reason.

I was just here passing through for two hours on a connecting flight, but I HATED it. It's small and crowded with not enough seating. Everyone crowds around the outlets, so I didn't get to use any. Any outlets I found were all NOT working.

For the most part an organized airport, would be nice to have more people working the bag drop counter. The line for bag drop was super long.....

Ft Lauderdale airport immigration is so disorganized. It took over an hour to get through immigration, waiting in 3 different lines. While waiting in line, airport reps informed us that we would all probably miss our connections. We had a 2 hour layover and barely made it to our connection. Very stressful. Will never fly international through ft lauderdale airport again. Stick with other major airports that can handle the amount of people flying in internationally.

Unfriendly staff. Unable to complete global entry interview as promised.

It was a good experience until waiting for my ride. Deputies were parked every 12 feet or so, about 6 feet from the curb, making it very hard for passengers to get their ride, pack their luggage and leave. They caused more congestion than safety. Groups of deputies talking to each other doesn't exude safety.

Very very very filthy and smelly. I do not think they have any cleaning staff. If it is a contract cleaner, they should loose their contract. I wish could post pictures.

TSA security person checking ticket and ID tonight 12/8/19 at 7pm was QUITE rude. First time at this airport and will be my last time.

Miserable airport. Not enough seats at gates, when busy, you have to stand around or camp on the ground.

This is the worst airport. If you fly Spirit out of the country and return here customs will take hours as there is not enough people working. The terminals do not have enough seating, outlets are severely limited, and the food options are deplorable. I will avoid any layover or travel from here at all costs.

Staff are the most rude I have ever encountered. There are long lines for everything. There is very few dirty and expensive restaurants. So expect buying food from a vending machines if you are caught in there. No comfortable place to sit either. I have seen bus stations in third world countries much better than Fort Lauderdale airport
