It should be a well-received, well-rated sushi restaurant in the local area. Basically, you must make an appointment, and I will make an appointment at 10 o'clock in the evening.
If you want to sit on the bar, you must be a chef. If you know what you are going to eat, you will have to pay a lot of money. So you can only sit on the table and have a specific price. You can order the Premium Sushi Course, $75, and have 18 sushi. , divided into six courses.
The whole sushi is wrong, fresh and .
The most expensive restaurant in the restaurant is sometimes a drink, but it is a sip of sake and a slap in the face. The whole system is satisfied with a meal.

I was not impressed with the level of knowledge from the waitor; nor was I impressed with the Shushi Assortment platter. The poke was good and the tempura rolls were good buy it's hard to go wrong with these. There was a large variety of tuna and types of tuna cuts but the taste was not expected. Sorry Shiro, this was not for me.

One of Shiro's two restaurants. More affordable than Kashiba, but just as amazing. The omakase was exceptional, and just the right amount of food to leave you satisfied and happy. The waitstaff were very good at their jobs, they checked in enough to let you know you aren't forgotten, but they didn't hover. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable when explaining all the food. Money is well spent here, I have not one negative comment about my experience here. I will definitely be coming back.

I was quite determined to get a seat even though they were booked for days. I called and the very nice lady said that if I waited early before they open I might be able to grab one of the open seats at the bar. I went an hour early and it worked! Sean was our sushi chef and he was friendly, engaging, and very helpful with his recommendations. One of the best in the country for sure.

Had a bad experience here. We had ordered the assorted sushi which came as a platter. We found a long strand of black hair in our rice underneath the Unagi which we wouldn't have found if we hadn't split the sushi open. We asked to get it replaced so they replaced our sushi. We then found another strand of black hair in it again! And so we had to complain once more. It feels like for such an expensive restaurant we expect better quality than that. Not a fan of the lack of cleanliness at the sushi.

We've eaten at Shiro's Sushi in Seattle on vacation. I had watched videos about their restaurant prior to travelling there. I knew that you had to have reservations based upon their website, but to sit at the sushi bar it did not require a reservation. The restaurant opened around 5:30 - we got in the door at exactly that time and had the last two seats at the sushi bar. This place has fish flown in from Japan within 24 hours of serving and has a fabulous "omakase" menu - or as the chef likes it. Our chef Aaron was an amazing host. We learned about every bite and came away feeling the most satisfied from any other meal I've ever had in a restaurant. It wasn't just a meal - it was an experience. Totally worth the almost $400 tab for two.

Every time I walked past this restaurant I saw a queue and I figured that supposed to be a good restaurant. I was wrong, it's an excellent restaurant in the least detail.
The waiter was very attentive and very knowledgeable about all the dishes, all the ingredients were incredibly fresh and the dishes very well executed, I can not say it is a cheap restaurant but really worth the price.
Best Sushi Ever!!!!!

This was the best omakase experience I've had in Seattle. Jun was my chef for the evening. Everything was prepared and presented with a deft skill that showcased the flavors of the seafood in the best possible manner. I just couldn't stop eating as you can see from my photos of all the sushi I ate. Jun will feed you until you tell him to stop. One indicator that this is master level sushi was that the rice in the nigiri was squeezed together with just enough pressure so that it falls apart in your mouth to distribute more flavor. It was interesting to converse with Jun as well. Shiro's gets about 70% of its fish from Japan. Also if you're going to have fine sushi, men shouldn't wear cologne and women shouldn't wear perfume as it detracts from the subtle flavor of the fish. A great dining experience. But prepared to spend a significant amount

Omakase! Sit at the bar, and watch as the chef shows off his skills to the utmost with round after round of top-quality sushi. Shiro himself only works Tuesday, Thursday and Friday but the sous is very competent too. The best way to enjoy Shiro's is to go in a small group, spend a leisurely three hours at the bar, chat with the chef, and never add soy sauce! For the range and quality of the sushi, including abalone, geoduck, sea urchin, etc. $110 is so worth it - outclasses all other sushi I've had, and even ends beautifully on the omelette featured in the film Jiro Dreams of Sushi, Shiro's mentor.

One of my favorite spots for quality sashimi and sushi. Reservation process was easy. I arrived early and was given a cup of hot tea to drink while I waited for the rest of my party.

The sushi and sashimi were fresh and delicious. The service was super friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!

The premium sushi omakase is good value for money and generally quite good. The service is excellent. Every piece of nigiri was lovingly and patiently described. The only thing that was a downer were the desserts.

I've travelled extensively and had high-end sushi in many, many cities in North America and a couple in Japan. This is easily one of the best that I have ever been to when it comes to the quality of the fish. Interestingly, sitting at the sushi bar in front of Shiro is the best way to experience it. I honestly believe that he supplements his mastery with the best and highest quality cuts.
I have literally dreamed of his sushi on nights before trips to Seattle.

It was absolutely delicious, we got there early enough to see the line crowd behind us, and luckily we got a place at the sushi bar. We went with chef's choice, which did turn out to be quite expensive. If I had a lot of money to spend freely, I would definitely come here everyday. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with great, efficient staff and fresh fish.

Having dined here a few times, I will say that it is one of the nicer sushi restaurants in the area. But If i am truly being honest, it's still not the most amazing sushi I have had, considering their reputation. I think their offering is basic and lack luster. The fish is fresh, but so are the one from Uwajimaya. If you want decent sushi, come here. But dont expect anything crazy. The negitoro is also super disappointing. The tuna used is not fresh at all, to color is grey and dry.

Premium omakase good for sushi beginners like me. It offered a wide variety of sushi from white fish to red fish with a sweet finish. The server would brush on soy sauce or ponzu sauce as needed, although I was hoping the sushi chef would take care of that. I did like the brush method though, as it offered just the right amount of sauce. My favorite course was the local geoduck and the shrimp, which was sooo sweet and creamy! Then they served the fish head fried, which was so tasty. I don't normally eat fish head, but this was really delicious. One of the tuna pieces had a bit of fiber in it though and it was served a bit torn in the middle. The shari on one of the sushi pieces was also a bit too vinegary. Subtle inconsistencies is why I docked off one point.

Unfortunately I didn't get to sit at the bar since the wait was around an hour on a Friday night. I think if you get there early it might only be 20-30 mins though. They only allow reservations for tables while the bar is first-come first-served.

You can also order a la carte which is nice if you just want to get some high quality pieces. The sea bass, sashimi plate, and the rainbow roll looked pretty good.

All-in-all, a pretty good experience.

Delicious. While I dined on things other than sushi, my friend enjoyed the tasting menu of sushi. It is one of the best in the city. Make a reservation or get there early because they're always busy. Service was accommodating, polite and knowledgeable.

Based on reviews we expected a lot more. The sushi was very good, but nothing out of this world. The black cod The NY Times raves about was very good, as was the seaweed salad - super fresh. Also excellent were the eel nigiri, the yellowtail nigiri and the salmon sashimi. The crab tempura roll was very special as well. Service was fantastic from a staff who is also a professional soccer player. Explained everything and made sure every need was let and attended to. 5 stars for his service!

Very very disappointed. I thought the Japanese foods in Seattle is one of the best. And Shiro s sushi is also renowned for its reputation. However, after all, I can only say I had a better one. The sushi is not bad, and it s authentic, I just can t feel the surprise. The most disappointing thing is the Uni. To be honest, the worst Uni I ever had. I had many good unis before so I know what upper-quality uni is. I was told the uni is from the US and end of the season. I got 2 Japanese Uni as compensation (taste much better). However, in my standard. The unfresh and low-quality seafood is unacceptable in a famous sushi place like here.

Ordered sushi via Uber eats -1 small set and miso soup - $50 total. What arrived was literally supermarket-grade sushi. No value or quality, felt ripped off. One can find better rolls at a gas station.

Damn, this place was good. I've never had the money to try a tasting menu before but decided I should treat myself to this for my 25th birthday. Highly recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before opening to stand in line. A few plates are not pictured because I'm terrible at remembering to take photos. Full belly, satisfied, and the customer service is phenomenal. Oh, and absolutely worth it.

Average at best. Not sure alotnof these people been to many plsces. Maybe it was that I sat as a table. But it was average at best. Not a sushi vibe to this place at all. I feel I am being fare with 3 stars. Can find just as good sushi for a lot less money any were in the city.

I was really looking forward to this experience, after priming myself on the Shiro story on YouTube. Let me preface this by saying that this is not a bad review. The presentation was immaculate, the sushi was good, but having tried sushi in Japan, this was very average in comparison. There were notable exceptions like the Sawara and the Hokkaido scallop that were memorable, but mostly everything else was your average high end West coast sushi.

Good sushi! Large selection with high quality! If recommend sitting at the bar table if you want a better experience (interaction with the chef) and a higher bill (you're likely end up eating more!)

Enjoyed our night out here. They had a set menu but were kind enough to do some veggie rolls for the vegetarian in our party. The nigiri was delicious and very flavorful and the staff was wonderful.

LOL. Why do I come to this place after Shiro has left???? If you are expecting high standard sushi, you will feel disappointed. Definitely, this place has better sushi you can get from Wholefood market. But if you are fine with sushi prepared with cold rice, you won't notice the quality difference. They named the restaurant as Shiro's Sushi for a reason! Since Shiro is not here any more, they should rename the restaurant as "Previous Shiro's Sushi".

Bad experience today. This was my reference restarance in seattle during 3 years, ten years ago. Today I cameback to seattle I try dinner and it was not possible and i have a bad experience with staff. Siro's loose a prescriptor.

We did the sushi omakase, which was totally worth it. Fish was incredible in flavor, texture and temperature. Did get some sweet shrimp and uni which are not for everyone, but overall it was delicious and lovely.

Expensive but really amazing food! We chose the $75 tasting menu and not a single person from our 5 person group was disappointed.

Servers were great - knowledgeable and polite. We were explained every dish that came out and attention to detail was amazing.

The dining room area could be updated to feel more cozy but that is the only thing that was slightly lacking.

The sushi here is excellent. My gf and I got the omakase at the sushi bar.

That said, the ambiance here left a lot to be desired. It was very loud in the restaurant and the omakase was very impersonal... Especially for edomae. I could barely here our chef when he was telling us what each piece was. Even when I asked twice, I ended up missing about 1/3 of the descriptions. Also, the omakase at the sushi bar is different than the omakase you order at the table. The table omakase is $75 but the omakase at the sushi bar is open ended and you can spend unlimited dollars. This is not communicated on the menu AT ALL...nor did the hostess or sushi chef tell us this when we sat down.

Still, the sushi was excellent and they bought our bottle of sake to make up for not telling us about the omakase differences. Just don't expect an intimate sushi experience that you might expect from an edomae style sushi place.

This is the place to go for sushi on the west coast. Impeccable presentation and coursing, top quality fish, and delightful service. Whether you select your own or go omikase, you will have an incredible meal.

The sake selection is also excellent and the staff very well prepared to provide recommendations.
