I was really looking forward to this experience, after priming myself on the Shiro story on YouTube. Let me preface this by saying that this is not a bad review. The presentation was immaculate, the sushi was good, but having tried sushi in Japan, this was very average in comparison. There were notable exceptions like the Sawara and the Hokkaido scallop that were memorable, but mostly everything else was your average high end West coast sushi.
