The sushi here is excellent. My gf and I got the omakase at the sushi bar.

That said, the ambiance here left a lot to be desired. It was very loud in the restaurant and the omakase was very impersonal... Especially for edomae. I could barely here our chef when he was telling us what each piece was. Even when I asked twice, I ended up missing about 1/3 of the descriptions. Also, the omakase at the sushi bar is different than the omakase you order at the table. The table omakase is $75 but the omakase at the sushi bar is open ended and you can spend unlimited dollars. This is not communicated on the menu AT ALL...nor did the hostess or sushi chef tell us this when we sat down.

Still, the sushi was excellent and they bought our bottle of sake to make up for not telling us about the omakase differences. Just don't expect an intimate sushi experience that you might expect from an edomae style sushi place.
