Awful service! Wish I could give it less than one star. Went here with my family and consumed quite a lot. Stayed to eat and was so uncomfortable because we kept getting dirty looks by who I believe it was the owner of the place. She then approached us to let us know that next time we should take our food to go since we were "such a large group" and they "lost business" because we were taking over the tables. It's not my fault your place is so small. But don't worry! You won't be getting any of our business anymore! It wouldn't surprise me if there was racism involved in this incident.

Their food is fantastic. On fridays they specially make a potato leek soup that is delicious. You must also try the shrimp santorini, also fantastic!

Solid take out. However, some Greek staples are not offered. Not a sit down place so wouldn't come here for lemon potatoes or grilled halloumi, but the take out we did get was pretty darn good.
It was a great place. I would give 5 but it's just so tight in there. Overall the food was good. And the location isn't bad at all.
The decor is a bit drab and off-putting (although they have a few tables, you can see that it's primarily a take-out place), but the service was very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. I would definitely return for another meal next time I'm in the area!
I ordered dinner from the Mediterranean Express for years with good results. Always satisfied with my order. Yesterday I picked up a pre order for 10 chicken Slovakis with all the trimmings, salad, rice, pita etc for a party. I was so impressed with the food! We picked it up at 1pm and had a friend pick it up as I moved 50 miles east. We, did not eat until 6 pm, I just popped the trays of chicken and rice in the oven covered for 15 minutes and created a buffet. Everyone loved it, the food was moist, perfectly cooked and delicious!! Seems like a stretch to have food from 50 miles away but it was worth it. I was also very happy to have a friend in the area that was willing to pick it up. Thank you for a great dinner!

Overall, amazing Mediterranean food. My favorite items: - Chicken Souvlaki is perfect...seared/flavorful outside and tender/juicy inside. - Falafel is excellent. - The rice pilaf is the best I ve ever had. Every to-go order takes at least 15 minutes because everything is made to order.
Ample portions of beef and lamb on a gyro for less than $10. This small restaurant only has a handful of tables so if you plan to dine in, don't bring a group.

This place is fantastic... I just ordered my usual... Chicken Souvlaki with a side order of fries... Also, a Greek salad... The chicken is large seasoned cubes of white meat and it's cooked perfectly... I can't think of one single time that i was unhappy with the food... I would give it 10 stars if I could!!!

They're food is pricey and sometimes they charge you for the wrong item, so always check your receipt, but they're food is DELICIOUS!

The gyro did not have a nice balance of ingredients. Too much meat with too thickly cut tomatoes and a few red onions. If I cant get my mouth around it, then it's just an overstuffed piece of pita.
I have been going to this place for years and I took a break when I went down to Delaware I've come back and it peers to be under new management and they change the recipes even the French fries I am not looking forward to my next trip if there's even gonna be one
I've had good food here in the past. However, it seems the "chef" has stepped away from operations. The pea soup was like a gloppy , gluey, bowl of cornstarch . Thats not home cooking. or even mediocre cooking. When I asked the counter person for something spicy for my hummus, baba, she looked dumbfounded and said we have pepper...oy voy! Bring back the delicious food PLEASE.

Just picked up a gyro and a small greek salad to go... gyro was very good BUT the greek salad was definitely soggy from sitting in dressing. Very disappointed, I called to let them know. They said it's made to order. But I know, as a avid salad eater, and someone with basic common sense- there was NO WAY it was fresh... not with all those soggy wilted lettuce leaves. They were like- oh well, thank you. Completley unapologetic . Never going back again.
Anyone who thinks this is frozen food, you are wrong. The gyros are outstanding, the tyropita and spanikopita are out of this world! You basically can t go wrong here soups to desserts all awesome! Enjoy your time at this incredible find.

I have had the gyro salad and was satisfied with the first time. The prices are reasonable and worth every dime for your food. They also have friendly and efficient staff. If your a meditarranean food lover this is the Choice.

Been going here for a while now but the only critique I had was that the chicken chunks were a little too big, as there's only 4 huge pieces in their Soulvaki. Today I asked if they could just cut the chicken into smaller pieces and was told they can't do that. I'm not asking you to shred it, I'm just asking you to cut it down a little. Last visit for this guy...

The food my girlfriend and I got it was over cooked and no where near what Mediterranean food should be...whatever, we paid we should still eat right? We found MULTIPLE pieces of hair! Fine we go back to get a new plate or refund. The cashier brought the food to the chef and I can hear him bad mouthing my girlfriend and I... very disrespect, horrendous service and quite frankly terrible food... if I could I would give 0 stars
