Looking for a romantic getaway, this is the only place which offer you all your needs built on the shillimb hill and surrounded by Goddess nature and the breathing views you just cannot miss place. Spread across 320 acres the beauty of this property cannot be defined in words, awarded with the world's best spa hotel now you can imagine the vibe of this place
Villas are just huge enough to fit a family and the open air bathroom is the best thing I've ever seen.
If you want to forget the polluted, busy and unhealthy city life for few days, this the the place where you should visit!!

The property is in a Beautiful location and rooms are nice. We are visited there every year with friends and family. All the staffs are supportive and friendly nature. We went there on 17th August 2019 to 19th August 2019 with a group of four persons. A mouse came in my room but the problem was resolved very quickly due to their house keeping staff with the supervision of Mr. Amit Kalia (Senior House Keeping Staff). Overall had a great experience and will recommend people to visit this place.

The location is very nice. The service is very pathetic. For each thing we have to remind them atleast 2 to 3 times. Very big resort. For going on one place to another they have car pick up facility. The food is good only the hospitality is very poor. Hope they improve being a 5 property

Property is good but experience with staff( magic, reception, welcome desk, security) was really bad. Shared same with duty manager too. Very bad experience and never expected this from a brand like Hilton. I am sure, its a great hotel but unfortunately my 3 days experience was bad. Would rate 5 on food and property but nothing positive on services and hospitality.

This property does not believe paying their vendors on time, we are struggling to receive a paltry amount from them since the past one year, all of the staff has a very very casual approach towards this. Wondering how is such a poor service attitude is acceptable in the hospitality industry.

The place is really good, little expensive but worth visiting once. The approach road which goes thru village is in bad shape, but the resort premise is awesome. U get the earthy feeling, if u didn't had an experience of visiting a typical village.

Service was not good. Cars were not on time. Food was not proper as mentioned accd for Jain. Hardly indoor games options to play. Not a good experience. Will not recommend to go. No privacy at the room security gauards come through balcony. Please these issues to be corrected. Worst experience and one of the staff member Mr Ninand talked rudely with us.

(Late review) It was an amazing experience. Staff took care of each and every small detail. At the Bar Mr.Das attended us and let me confess he made us some amazing cocktails. I highly recommend Das if you want to taste something new + he was very polite and even extended his shift only to attend us. We also opted for privet dinner. They did the arrangement very well + we got exclusive menu prepared only for us. Our overall stay was fantastic. If you like to stay in luxury, Hilton is for you.

Horrible experience at check in ... no vehicles for 45 minutes.

Even worse as we entered a room that was stinking due to a dead rat or something similar

Have asked for a change .... no response yet

Hilton shillim is a beautiful, well maintained property offering great views n cozy villas.Refreshing location n worth visiting the place. The staff is very very welcoming n helpful, specially Mr sunil n Mr rohit frm the front desk are extremely supportive. So supportive that firstly they upgraded my room n secondly gave a villa close to the restaurant with least steps upon my request as i had my mum who was unable to walk. And how can i forget Mr Amol who drove us continuously for 15-25mins to show the whole property with detailed explanation.Really appreciate! Food overall was gd but on an expensive side.

Simply wonderful. Very relaxing, nature all around, the rooms are tastefully done. Good place to unwind and spend time with family. It has all luxuries but in the lap of nature. There are some activities which are available for family and kids including kitchen classes.

The food was terrible! The food quality was bad. The food was stale and contaminated. Gave me stomach infection. The retreat was very understaffed for the number of guests, the staff was overworked and everything was a mess.

It was my busband s birthday and I decided to give him a surprise by booking a stay at Hilton Shillim. To begin with this is one of the best resorts I have visited in India. This resort is spread in many acres of land and it is completely lush green. When we entered the gate of Hilton Shillim we were sure that it will be our best experience here. The staff is very co-operative and friendly. When we reached the reception, we were welcomed with a very refreshing drink and one of the staff member took us in a nano to our king valley view cottage. The cottage was huge and it had an amazing balcony with a sofa and a table. The bathroom was so big that we felt like a king and queen there. The resort has many restaurants inside, the valley bar, the mountain bistro, the green table and the terrazzo. All of them are equally good and the view from all these restaurants is just perfectly magical. The food is very very delicious. The breakfast buffet was so hige and they had amazing varieties of shakes, juices and cuisines. They also had so many in-house activities. Just one thing is this place is a bit too expensive. But it leaves a beautiful memory behind. Overall it was a magical experience. I would highly recommend this place for atleast a 2 night stay.
If I have to rate this place then it would be 5/5.

It's an amazing property, and so huge that you can spend days exploring it. Go there if you love nature and, of course, if you have enough money to spend. But if booked in advance, you can get lucrative deals. The downside is that the approach road to the hotel has a broken stretch of about 4 km (the road is almost nonexistent). Both from Mumbai and Pune, it takes about 3 hours to reach here.

I went there on my motorbike (Z1000SX) on 27th April 2019. I intended to have lunch or brunch over there. It was about 41 degrees Celsius, and at the gate they just told, that you are not allowed to get inside unless you have a room booked. How ignorant and unconcerned, they didn't even offer a glass of water. Business must be going extremely well for them, they have no need for additional F&B business. Good to know, I recommend to avoid this hotel.

The location is great and the rooms are perfect but the property is too big because of which moving around is time consuming. You cannot take your cars in. They send their cars to you if you want to go from one place to another. Waiting for the car to come wasted a lot of our time. We also saw a venomous pit viper just outside our room on one of the nights.

The view, the location, the property is out of the world but I'm giving them 3 stars is because of the service. Service is what they should improve on, it's not bad but when you are paying so much you need good service too..

1. Good scenic location. Very quiet and secluded. Ideal if you need a silent retreat.

2. Nice architecture. Well made cottages. Extremely simple yet very clean, hygienic and well kept.

3. Huge property. Acres and acres of land. Rejoice if you like walking. Ask for a ride in a Nano if you don't.

4. Pool.

We had an amazing experience a few years back at the property, when they were still getting their bearings so to speak and had had an amazing experience. We were actually floored with their hospitality at that time and hence, when it came to celebrating a special occasion, headed back to the place. Only this time, it was all the awesomness sans the hospitality. So here goes nothing.

Property - 5/5
You can't really beat them when it comes to the property - the location, the rooms/villas, the spa, everything. It's just spellbinding and amazing. The approach is actually better than what it used to be though there is quite a lot of room for improvement. Last time we had stayed at their pool villa and this time, were not expecting much since we had taken a deluxe room. But we were pleasantly surprised at how big the room actually was and how well laid out. The pool area is amazing and an infinity pool overlooking a valley is just brilliant.

F&B - 4/5
This would be a perfect rating too but for the options. They basically have one restaurant which is essentially the proverbial cafe. Other than that, there are couple of bars with finger food but not much else. When you are boasting of a secluded location and all, one expects to have variety in food choices - not just the food, but also the location/setting. This is where they lose marks.

The food itself is nothing short of lip-smackingly good. Anything and everything is just pure gold. The chefs deserve special thanks from us on this part. The breakfast was a nice touch with loads of freshly made stuff. Kudos!

Infra - 3/5
Starting to go downhill from here. The big issue everyone had (no, not just our party), was the huge wait time for the Tata Nanos which is basically the only means of transport. Walking is an option, but given the distance and terrain, not super feasible. The 'excuse' provided was that they are struggling to maintain the fleet and are in the process of replacing. Well, when one pays a bomb, one can't really take such excuses - it's not as if they reduced pricing because of the pain caused. You can expect to wait as much as 20-30 mins in peak times - just infuriating and super frustrating.

When you pay 18-20 grand for a room, if you see a INR 2 coffee waiting for you, that's a big mood spoiler too. Get your act together guys - this is not where 'cost-cutting' should be done!

Service - 1/5
The service was really pathetic. At the restaurant, everyone made it a business to ask our room number - as if we were running away? We were asked that at least 4 times in one meal; four! And when told about it, the person was just smiling - either they are putting dumb people or too smart; either ways is not nice at all.

We were told a nice cake and were given a stupid pastry. No, we don't expect free cake but if you say you would, do it right. No five star has ever given us this poor cake - it's a joke and essentially a way of saying, back off, we don't care for your special day! The in-villa service took 45-60 min when they woudl say 15-25 min. Nobody cared basically for anything - and why would they for they are doing brisk business irrespective. But still, something's gotta give guys.

When brought to the attention their front office manager Mr Ameya, he patiently listened to us and essentially gave us one sandwich as an apology - when we had to basically postpone our lunch by 4 hours (and we had a baby) because of the delay these guys did.

So sad to see such a nice place (of which we have a dearth of near Mumbai) go to waste really. It'll be pretty disappointing to not go here again; but then, not as if we've been left a choice.

Go here for the property and be blind to super incompetent service.

A quaint, serene place. Good for relaxation. Not much there for kids/ young children - better avoid taking them during vacations, as they might get bored. Yes, there are a few activities for children, but physical activities are restricted during monsoons. Cycling throughout the hotel spread (390 acres) is a good option during non monsoon. The wellness centre is excellent. The pools are lovely. Bars have an excellent collection of different wines too. The buffet spread, surprisingly, was limited and the taste was good (but not outta this world). The good thing is that they don't use any preservatives and therefore everything is farm fresh and has to consumed in a day. They don't use sugar (they use jaggery and natural honey). To top it off, they don't serve sugar even in your room's coffee corner. The toiletries are good quality. The open air shower within the villa is an excellent way to be one with the nature. Bathrooms are very big, with separate enclosure for commode and wash basin (very thoughtful). Oh yes, on thoughtfulness, there is a torch and umbrellas in each villa. Take in the nature around you and you'll feel meditated. Of course, it's a jungle_ forest, so you might expect a few crawling living things - but isn't that why you're here? To add to it, the pleasant chirping of the humongous variety of birds will keep you entertained. All in all, a pleasant experience. Keep your expectations limited and you'll thoroughly enjoy this calming experience. Not to forget the helpful staff, ever so ready to serve and take care of your needs.

From the word go experience was bad. First they deducted double the amount from our credit card saying they heard we need two villas. Whereas we clearly said we r only two which means only a couple.
For ppl who don't eat garlic they gv the routine which we mk at home too. It is only on food channels we see variety of dishes.
Swimming pool area has not been designed properly. The changing room is pretty far from the pool. One has to walk from the cafeteria where ppl r sitting nd eating.
Villas r the only plus point. They r big , secluded nd v neat nd clean. Roma r big with balcony where one can sit . Bathrooms r v big nd nd properly planned. Toilet, Washbasin area nd bath tub r all segregated.

The facilities at the resort are reasonably good and generally well maintained. Once inside the resort you are in the middle of a hilly forest with nature. Forest treks organised by the staff are noteworthy. The approach road to resort is extremely bad. If one is coming from lonavala almost 5 km of road is in such condition that the average speed of vehicle goes down to as low as 3 to 5 kmph. Their hotel rates charged are exorbitant and sometime you feel whether there is value for money or not. The spa offers variety but many of the therapist are not well trained. Net net you feel there is no value for money.

Excellent place. luxury with nature. nice villas, very helpful staff, good food.
Enjoyed a wkend except few things such as stone flooring in villas.(wooden would-be best option). Distance between rooms and other activities. You get car pickups but need to wait for 15 mins. pool location is excellent.
Dont miss the hiking n spa facility.
Quite expensive but worth it. Will visit again if get discounted rate

Beautiful resort, however the approach road is not that great. Good place to have a break with family. Villas are spread all over the forest and one has to call for resort cabs for taking you around.

First off, we visited Hilton Shillim not for its wellness programs but for a peaceful relaxing time off. So my review will not account for the quality or efficacy of the wellness program.

The property is nestled quietly into the western ghats. Taking that turn from the road (or not?) into Hilton seemed akin to barging into the Harry Pottersque platform 9 3/4! The property appears out of nowhere almost against the run of play. The approach to the property is patchy and that would probably even seem like a compliment. If you're coming from Mumbai, I'd suggest you take the exit towards Varsoli Toll, head straight to Kamshet, take a right towards Kamshet Pawna Nagar and that should lead you to Hilton from around the Pawna lake. The roads are much better with a few rough spots hear and there but wayyyy better than the default shorter route Google will guide you through.

The hospitality and the beauty of Hilton Shillim more than makes up for the poor roads.

Surrounded by the western ghats, you'll see forests all around. You can feel and smell the greenery even during the dry months. The property doesn't tamper much with nature rather it has nicely tucked itself into it and that's what makes Hilton Shillim such a beauty.

The property is around 320 acres and the rooms, the restaurants, the clubhouse, the wellness center are all spread out. Easily a 10-15 minute walk from point A to point B. But Hilton has a bunch of our very own Nanos to move you around. The Nanos are literally available at your beck and call. They arrive within 5-10 minutes of your call.

The service was top notch! A few experiences I'd like to share -
On the day of arrival, my wife caught some kind of allergy and had a stuffed nose with a bad headache. We called the reception to see if they had a paracetamol. Within 5 minutes, a medical practitioner was in our room with a full kit of medicines. She enquired about the problem, gave an anti allergen and my wife was back on her knees in no time!
If you're traveling with a toddler, the property also provides complimentary kichdi and hot milk for your kid. This was a major plus for us since we didn't have to worry about carrying extra food and heating it every time. Our baby got to eat fresh 5 star food too!
I ordered a birthday cake for my wife. It was supposed to be chargeable but the hotel made it complimentary! And the cake was all fresh fruit and cream. One of the best we've had.
Another experience - at around 4am in the morning, we suddenly started hearing strange noises on the top of our villa. Seemed like someone was busy walking around and trying to play some mischief. We got a tad worried and called the reception. Within 2 minutes we got a call back saying that it was a langoor and that the security team is on its way to shoo it away. This was their response unit at 4am in the sub 12 degree winter of January! Impressed, we were for sure!

There were a few interesting activities scheduled too. Block painting, clay moulding, meditation, etc. Do engage in them to keep yourself occupied. They're fun too and give you a chance to interact with others and probably make a few friends.

But it's probably a place you don't want to bring your kids to. Besides the small play area, the resort is largely not welcoming for the kids. The wellness center and the cafes there are out of bounds if you're with a kid.

The food at the restaurants was run-of-the-mill. Nothing to write home about but was decent and most importantly, healthy! Loved the fact that the menu had calorie and nutrition data for most items.

Overall, it was one of the best resorts we've been to. 5 star service, 5 star property, 5 star experience!

Thank you Hilton!

Worst experience not worth even one star

Simply wastage of time and money poor service no pick up cars one hour waiting if you get ready and want to go out Not worth visiting or recommending .Are you listening Mr owner

Very poor service

To reach there from Mumbai is an ordeal, for guys coming in from Pune it's a breeze. But once you are there you forget everything else. Just mix in to the environment, the pristine nature around you. The staff is brilliant considering the distance between your villas and the utility areas. So don't be in a rush for room service they do take their time to arrive. However no points taken away from room service.
Villas are beautiful and done tastefully you won't feel like leaving them, I can tell you that. The beds, the balcony, the bath everything is a treat. By then the nature calling you outside the Villa is far more enticing and lots of outdoor activities to choose from. Variety of indoor games as well for the lil ones and even avenue activities like cycling the slopes of the property, Trekking, archery, etc.
The cuisine choices are limited to tell restaurants so not much to choose there. Having said that what is being served is good, the chef does take personal interest in your coffee likes and dislikes in both buffets and a la carte menus.
Lastly the price, for some reason I feel the prices can now come down. It's still quite uppity and not probably worth the effort unless you do the stay mid week. Offer the weekend it is totally prohibitive.
All in all an experience to be had, make sure you take your telling does and swim wear
