We were coming in to see family and needed to find a place quick. We got in late and would have loved to tried the food. Sadly They don't serve after 11 pm. The price was very affordable for the ammenties. And we are looking forward to coming back very soon.

This hotel is conveniently located, but in desperate need of renovations.

Seems to be a victim of Marriott buying the Sheraton group, no money left to renovate the places that must have been marked as such.

Sharp glass edges on broken table tops in the room - room in general is pretty run down with pealing wallpaper and squeaky mattresses. It's clean, though and the linens are suitably comfortable. Frustratingly spotty wi-fi performance. I upgraded to the premium speed and was varying wildly between no internet, .25 Mbps down and 10Mbps down. The technical support that the front desk connected me to was worse than useless - told me there wasn't an issue and wanted to troubleshoot my devices despite the symptoms being identical between them and also impacting the smart TV in the room - clearly reading from a script with no actual training. Food is average and hotel staff are prompt and polite. Probably a 3 star experience if not for the terrible internet.

TLDR: The staff don't clean well, help their customers, or care at all and that ruins a hotel where the discount rate is almost 250 a night.

I was incredibly shocked at how horrible my stay was at the Boston Sheraton hotel.
To start with, i set up my stay almost a month in advanced. I set up the days, I asked for a few things under special request (early check in at 12 which is an offered option, feather free room, low floor, and near an elevator) to accommodate my 7 months pregnant, disabled wife, and i put in my company card as payment on their website. Turns out that it was all largely ignored, including one interesting thing of note, which is that they will not charge your card at the time of entering it, or when you arrive at the hotel. I asked them to when i arrived and they said they wouldn't. It seems they will only use the info you take time to enter if you don't show up at all, an inconvenience to the customer for nothing but their personal gain. The fun has yet to begin though.
My wife and I arrive at 12PM and I had a business meeting at 1PM and wanted to have my wife settled in my room before i had to go, which did not happen. Instead they made her wait for 4 hours in the lobby and even then made her trade off so we did not get a feather free room to get a room at all. just to clarify, normal check in time was at 3 and when we arrived at 12:00, they told me our room was not ready but that it would be moved to the highest priority and should be ready within half an hour. Half an hour later I checked again and they said "Oh, i'm sorry, but your room isn't ready. It should be ready in an hour and a half". That did not make me happy, but there was little i could do. So my wife checks an hour and a half later(2:15 roughly) and turns out that our room wasnt ready, but they said it should 'only' be an hour or so and they would text her when it was done. An hour later (3:15) there is no text. So my evidently very patient wife waited a bit longer before going up and seeing them at 3:50 and asked when our room would be ready. Turns out there was still not a feather free room ready, but they could give her one with feathers immediately(this was after the current attendant was slightly shocked at her waiting so long for our room). So we got our room finally.

I think that being lied to on repeat and made to wait 4 hours longer than originally requested to just get a room at all shows the quality of this hotel and their staff already, BUT THERES MORE.

I get out of my meeting at 5 and am displeased by our treatment already, but then i get in the room. I mean i didn't think small green tribbles existed, but i found one in our AC and it smelled like mold. But there is still, somehow more.

If exhausting my wife by making her stay in the lobby 4 extra hours wasn't enough, they went ahead and made it worse by not allowing her to sleep it off the following day. So i go away to my second business meeting at 7:30 in the morning the following day and my wife tries to take a nap to make up for the previous day. After breakfast, she puts out that do not disturb placard on the door and goes to sleep a bit after 8. Then for some unknown reason, a cleaning person knocks at about 9, comes in and sees my wife who just got woken up by a random stranger entering her room with a DO NOT DISTURB placard on the door, and backs out of the room. Ok, fine, one inept cleaning person at a hotel, it happens. Except guess what happens an hour later. The exact same bloody sequence. So now my wife is really not getting the sleep she needs, and finds the other placard they put in the room, the one that actually says "Do Not Clean" and guess what happens one, bloody, cursed, hour later. Some apparently idiotic, apparently inept, apparently ILLITERATE cleaning moron knocks on my room door, comes in, and finds my exhausted wife startled awake by the third idiot to try cleaning a room with a person in it.
To sum up, don't go here if you have self esteem of any amount, or dislike being screwed over. Also if you hate tribbles

Room was nice. Definitely the worst bar service I've ever had. Took forever to get a beer, the bartender would look right at me then walk away to talk to females. Be prepared to show some cleavage if you want to be served. Food at the in house restaurant was not good.

97% of staff exceptionally nice and helpful. Facilities looked clean. Microwave was dirty, coffee creamer in room curdled, prev used products in bthrm, hot water please!, and not all offerings readily available in Club Room. Pita for a short stay .'. not address all while there. Served the purpose for our larger concern.

Our room (437) looked like a motel room. Concrete slab ceiling. Unfortunately unlike a motel, no free continental breakfast. There was a hook missing in the bathroom. The water did not always get as hot as I would have liked. Parking was free. There was a safe in the room for valuables.

Clean quiet rooms. There is a pool and gym on the premises but didn't have a chance to try them. Sandwiches from the restaurant were tasty. Small parking garage to park in. Not a very scenic area but it's close to highway and lots of restaurants.

Nice hotel. Housekeeping was near non-existent. They did the bare minimum when it came to cleaning the rooms. We ordered a drink from the bar on our first night at the hotel and my wife brought her drink up to our room. The same empty glass was left in our room for the three nights we stayed there. Additionally, the floor wasn't vacuumed during our stay.

Staff incredibly friendly and accommodating, as we were traveling with a toddler. Rooms clean. Access to fitness center and pool. Close to Newton and Main roads into Boston. Mattresses a little stiff. Toilets are loud. I could hear our neighbors toilet flush and I thought they were being catapulted over the highway. Easy access to garage.

Everything was great about the hotel except for the front desk staff. When we checked in the lady was short, cold and seemed bothered. But I thought maybe it was just the evening staff. Turns out the morning staff is just as bad. We have been here for three days and have yet to see the front desk staff smile or say hi if we walk by. And they really seem annoyed if you go up to them for something. I can honestly say this is not a hotel I will return to. I expected a lot more from a Sheraton.

Worst night ever! Thin walls and loud neighbors are a bad combo. I was afraid to call and complain from my room that my angry and door slamming friends might hear me, I got up and complained in person. Manager Micheal Smith was no help in the morning. Stay away!

Average Marriott hotel with an indoor pool and hot tub. The mattress was not comfy and may be time for a renovation. Excellent service and staff. They are and they to make sure you have a great experience.

I have been to every single hotel in Boston (except the castle) this has been my absolute worst experience. Unhelpful night staff! Booked a last minute room a few hours before a late night arrival. Looked specifically for a hotel that had a king bed room type. This was one of the places that had multiple types of king bed rooms. Confirmed the reservation and check-in online immediately. Arrive at the hotel at 1:30 AM and the person at the front desk hands me a pre-made key to a room. Once I get in to the room I see that he gave me a room with two double beds, he did not mention anything when he handed me the key. When I approached the front desk, the response was It s the same price for double beds and we only have so many king beds . Checking online, the app was still showing availability for King rooms but the person was not going to budge. I have elite status with both Marriott and Hilton and this was very disappointing with Marriott. Avoid this property!

I stay at this hotel frequently, and I always enjoy my stay here! Everyone is very customer-focused and goes out of their way to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable. On the rare occasion that an issue arises, they promptly address the problem. I recommend you give them a try!

From check in to parking to sleeping this hotel is a total let down.

They let people smoke in the breezeway so be prepared to walk through a stinky smokey gross entryway!

I literally could have ordered and received a meal at subway before the clerk had me checked in (not including any line, I'm referencing from the point my service started). The clerk was friendly but I think needed more training on the equipment. However the other clerk made some rude remark to my agent as she was checking me in, totally unprofessional and rude.

I also noticed several event signs in the entry way

There Is no noticable person to leave luggage with while you park, so your forced to tote luggage up several flights of stairs from the garage.

The hallways are dated and "grungy" looking.

At first glance of my room I thought I was going to be pleasantly surprised at the spacious room. However the uncomfortable bed, constant noise of flushing toilets and kids screaming/running around in the room above me made this a sleepless night.

To top is all the Marriott app says this hotel is 11 miles from the airport and it is 20! 30 if you want to avoid tolls.

I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone that wants easy access to logan, sleep, or a clean atmosphere.

When I checked in to the hotel, the room that I reserved days before was "overbooked" and instead of getting a king sized bed I had to settle for a room with 2 beds. It was inconvenient because it was Valentine's Day weekend and my reservations were made in advance for that exact reason, so my boyfriend and I were not able to enjoy our time there due to someone else's mistake. There was also a fire drill at 4am in -8 degree weather and there were no staff in the hallways or anywhere in sight to direct residents on where to go or what to do. I understand that fires are not in anyone's control but no one knew where to go or what to do and it was unpleasant. They also took $50 from my debit card for "incidentals" and did not refund them to me until I called and complained. I'm very unsatisfied with the service and will not be returning to the sheraton ever again.

Home away from home is what you look for when spending time away on the road

The staff here Nicole, Allison, Chantrelle, et al do just that. Their personalization makes this big brand seem personal. On my stay here they were more than willing to shuttle me around, make suggestions and help me get home to my family.

Always a good feeling seeing familiar faces on the road. Till next time!!!!

Attended a wedding and reception. The staff and the food was excellent. The hotel and areas we visited while there appear to be clean and we experienced no issues. The location of the hotel was easily accessible from Route 95. We didn't visit much in the area other than our visit to the hotel itself.

A bit dated BUT rooms are clean, quiet and adequately equipped. Bathroom is new clean and everything is working the way it should. Beds are nice and soft. All in all despite the fact that the hotel shows its age it's a standard good place to spend the night.

The location of the hotel is not ideal if one wishes to roam around in the town of Needham. There are 5 floors in this hotel with about 70 rooms per floor. My room that I stayed in was very comfortable, yet the fan was loud and annoying when I tried to sleep. The room had enough space to have a pull out sofa. I only stayed there one night and I did not encounter room service. Though, it seemed like the room service staff was friendly when I passed by rooms they were cleaning. They spoke in a different language when communicating with other room service staff members. I checked in at approximately 11 am and I checked out 11 am the next day. The reason for stay was a wedding to attend to. The hotel does have a pool and fitness center.

Great staff that was pleasant to talk with. Nice rooms that are pretty quiet. Near I-90 the hotel is minutes outside of Boston making ideal to use Uber or Lyft if you don't want to drive or use public transportation.

This hotel has an interesting parking/ entrance set up. It s on a hill and the parking is down the hill. There s no easy walking path immediately out of the entrance of the garage so you have to walk on the drive portion then up the hill with your luggage. The hostel itself has nice, friendly staff but smells of stale smoke (though it is non smoking). The food wasn t the best but the wine choices are decent and well priced. My room was a good size but by an outdoor sitting area that held receptions with echoing talking, music and such. Normally that wouldn t be a problem but I had a severe headache and just wanted to sleep. My bed had a rock or something attached to the mattress cover so I had to do some investigating to figure out 1 what it was (no clue but it felt like a rock and didn t move and I couldn t get it off) and 2 how to change the set up and move things around so it wasn t on my foot. The largest surprise is having to pay for parking as a guest. I have NEVER had to pay for parking at a hotel anywhere in the US until now. I won t be back.

I stayed there during a weekend and got stuck in a Blizzard. The staff were definitely doing the best they could with a bad situation, I know the people working the kitchen/bar were exhausted by the end of the night, but they made my stay as good as it could be.

We stayed overnight for one night, and it was an overall Good experience. The beds were very comfortable, and all the amenities, including a pool prom, were present. At the time, however, there was a wedding going on so things were loud at night, which got a little out of hand, but it was bearable with the help of the comfy beds

We stayed at the Sheraton Needham for one night, the location is great, it's right off the interstate, and is close to a couple of restaurants. Service was good everyone was very friendly, especially the bartender. The rooms were nice and clean beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean and the shower was pretty good. However the elevators had an odd musty smell, and so did the stairwell. Pool area was very nice and so was the outdoor courtyard. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

This is classic Sheraton, by which i mean if you like your hotels brown and gold with a hint of 90s nostalgia in decor you'll love this. That said, the rooms were good, clean and comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was disappointing but for the price expectations should not be that high anyway. I would return but probably not the place to spend a week with the family.
