This place is way out in the middle of nowhere but by a couple of casinos which is the only positive, very high prices for the hotel stay. Can find much more reasonable prices elsewhere. Room service is very expensive with a 22% gratuity added. They charge you for every little thing.

Love this place. Stayed here due to my ac breaking down in 115 degree heat. I needed a dog friendly place to stay. This was the best for my dog. Breakfast the waiter brought my dog water. Everyone loved my staffordshire terrier Ted.. I ended up spending 2 nights there.. The grounds were awesome.. Staff was super nice.. The place was clean.. I loved it and may just go back for breakfast one day soon

The Sheraton Grand hotel is located at the Wild Ho...

The Sheraton Grand hotel is located at the Wild Horse Pass area in the East Valley Phoenix along the Gila River with a population known as Indian Community. The community was established in 1859 and was formally recognized by the congress in 1939. It is an Indian reservation in the state of AZ within the Phoenix Metropolitan Area in Pima (Akimel O'odham tribe) and Maricopa (Pee-Posh tribe) counties. The largest communities in Gila River are Sacaton, Komatke, Santan and Black Water. The community operates its own telecom company, electric utility, industrial park and health care. At one time they were facing water shortages because of diversion structures and dam by non-Native farmers but that improved by creation of a reservoir and plans to establish an irrigation system to provide for running water.
As one of enterprises at Wild Horse Pass the Sheraton Grand hotel is owned by the Indian community. The hotel is a 500-room resort and is designed to represent the heritage and culture of Gila River Indian Community. The hotel has a 36-holes golf field, a spa and an on site horse back riding center. It also offers the services of four restaurants, swimming pools with water falls, water slide and river boat cruises for visitors.

A hotel with a background history.

#SheratonGrandWildHorse hands down is my favorite ...

#SheratonGrandWildHorse hands down is my favorite resort in Phoenix greater metro area. It's 20-min. from PHX and on an Indian reservation, quiet desert setting with loads of amenities.

Including #Whirlwind within walking distance, #SheratonGrandWildHorse has 5 dining options, one of which is the highest rated full service restaurant in Phoenix greater metro.

The decor is Southwest, homey and comfortable. All rooms have sitting balcony. West mountainside rooms naturally have better view but East side rooms also have distant mountain view was well, comes down to preference of sunrise or sunset. East rooms are cheaper.

The resort pool is great for family and adults. Kids tend to stay by the slide pool while adults closer to the poolside bar.

For non-golfers and pool people, there is a Spa and 2-mile walking trail on premise, a horse riding ranch/trail, a cowboy town, outlet shops, and casino nearby, all within 5-min. drive.

The only downside to #SheratonGrandWildHorse is no coffee maker in room. There is Starbucks in the main building but for those wanting to relax in PJs, options are either room service or flipping a coin with your loved one. This is a big deal as from end rooms, it's a long walk indoors, a pleasant walk outdoors.

1. Paid for a room with 1 King size bed we got a room with 2 full sz beds it's okay for me and my husband however why did this mistake happen in the first place.
2. Pool is a good size however no music playing so you hear everyone's conversation and some people are playing there own music on there phones, not good.
3. Expensive room with no small fridge or coffee maker, I would have rather paid $99 for a hotel down the way instead of $199.00 for a night. Customer service by the pool is amazing plus cocktails. The wild horse pass casino hotel is better than this place.

The pool has a water slide that is so much fun. There are 5 pools, a hot tub, and a kiddie pool next to the water slide. The pool area is surrounded by water stations with ice cold water and cups. They will even bring you drinks and food to you. Including drinks poolside! Also you can go down the waterslide however you want which is a big positive considering all the water parks are very strict about how you can slide down, probably for good reason. There is no lifeguard on duty however there are employees walking around the pool area to serve drinks. I was here visiting family so I can't say much more about the other facilities.

Exactly what one would expect from a hotel in this class. Great service. Costly food. Amazing property with tons of things and a super pool. Kids could have a great time here. They have all kinds of things. However, keep on mind it is a hotel of this class so everything costs $$$. Want to hit some balls at the driving range? That's $25. No complimentary breakfast. Plenty of options are available to buy your breakfast. No free HBO or movie channel, but you can get movies on demand that are still in the theater. Great place, but the nightly rate is just the start of your expense here.

We ate at Kai for our 1 year anniversary and the food was amazing. Really fancy; we almost felt out of place. We got the buffalo tenderloin with the fois gras appetizer; all amazing. They gave us a free souffle for the occasion which was also tasty. The price was on par for the amazing quality of food; I didn't feel like I overpaid. Their coffee was awful, though.

A beautiful venue. I've never been so relaxed as I was the whole stay. The faint Native American flute music that permiates the grounds is so lovely, it's very conducive to relaxation and meditation. Very nice pool and pool side area with drink services will have you feeling like a celebrity. Bring your lap top or leave work behind, you'll have what you need for a great weekend.

Great place to relax, far enough from everything to enjoy peace and quiet, but close enough to entertainment to have fun. The hotel even has a shuttle that will take you to the casino, the golf course, and the spa that is nearby. The rooms were cozy and the beds were comfortable. My only complaint is that the bars at the hotel close early and the shuttle from the casino stops running at 2 AM, so if you want to drink, you have to break into your wet bar in the room or bring your own liquor. That being said, the overall quality of the hotel was excellent!

Every person on the hotel staff I spoke with was VERY professional and customer service focused. I called guest services 4X the first day for a variety of questions and the operator was never openly annoyed and always provided me with the answers I needed.

Good location for the kids who spent most of their time at the pool. HOWEVER, the service was abysmal. Maids, concierge, poolside, front desk service, billing were all far below expectations of such a high end resort. The maids never came to clean and when we called they failed to show. Finally they rolled in at 7pm. Poolside service for food and drinks was terrible, we had to wait, along with several other customers. It took almost 1/2 hr for drinks to be delivered. The Rawhide restaurant was absolutely terrible. It literally took over ONE HOUR for 3 families to get our food after ordering. By then the kids were starving and going nuts, our food was cold. The moms finally spoke with the manager who had an unbelievable attitude as if we were bothering him. I mean an hour for food??? Bottom line.....there is NO WAY i will ever spend my money here again. Almost $2000 for 4 days. Pretty disappointing.

I had an accessible room and it was nice. But there were problems. The toilet kept running when flushed. My husband fixed that. Then we found a dead scorpion. The refrigerator didn't keep our food cold so we had to toss stuff. They advertised some cultural activities but those were only on the weekend. Lastly, they have peddle boats and were open 3-7:30 but there was no one available at 6 when we arrived
