I stayed at this hotel as part of my company's convention. The staff was amazing, especially the banquet staff. Josh K and team took extra special care of everything that we needed. I have stayed at a lot of hotels for conventions and this banquet staff far out shined any other!
Wonderful resort, beautiful pools overlooking the Gila River
Beautiful Hotel, amazing service and delicious food!
Stayed here overnight in a beautiful room. Also did a spa treatment. Very relaxing experience!!
Excellent hotel and resort. We only stayed one night but it was really beautiful and the staff was very friendly
Great convention space, food is excellent, spa is excellent, and beautiful golf course. Casino is a shuttle service away and provides fun for the night. Kai is one of the best restaurants around. This is great spot for a wedding, work event, or a couples vacation.
The layout required a lot of traveling between floors to get from the rooms to the conference area. Bar is also very small and was not able to accommodate the evening entertainment after the conference
Ok, kinda run down. Needs a refresh. Isolated from everything, you better have a car.
Had a birthday party here for my daughter. Pool was warm, environment was great, and the breakfast the next morning was good for the kids. Being vegan I only had a smoothie and potatoes and it was very good.
I came here for a corporate convention and it was phenomenal. The lobby has an amazing rock centerpiece with a small bar on the lower level. The ambient music playing in the hallways are soothing and fit in perfectly with the Indian reservation. They also have a convenient business center should you need it. The rooms were well kept and had a balcony which was great for relaxing at night.
They also have a pool with water slides and a spa, but I didn't have time to try those out. Lastly, the have shuttles to the casino of the same name.
Pretty nice place, great view of the Estrella Mtns at sunset
We had a very large group we had 4 double rooms and stayed two days. It was a beautiful place but the food was way over priced $14 for 3 Chicken strips and a hand full of fries. We accidentaly locked our key in the room and we asked for help getting it they treated us like criminals scared our kids by the way they spoke to us. It took over 20 min to let us in to get the key. Once the kitchen was closed at the pool our group was hungry so we called to order pizza. The pizza place told us they could not deliver there it was forbidden by the hotel for any food from anywhere to be delivered there. We went and picked it up and brought it down the managed followed us and told us no outside food allowed. Ridiculous treatment for all the money spent eating all our meals there and drinking.
Went on a beautiful site visit of the property. It was great and will definitely meet our needs.
Pretty good hotel, the rooms are nice, spacious, great water pressure. The bar and restaurant downstairs have good food. The only reason why am not giving it a five star is upon checking in I didn't have the greatest experience with the person at the front desk but other than that it was good all around. The rooms do not come with fridges but they very quickly bring you one at no charge if you ask for it. On a side note, the gym is nice but it's quite a bit of ways away, which isn't that big a deal, but if it's raining you'll need to drive to it.
Staff was extremely helpful and nice. Just a little pricey for what you get. It may be that I could not check in until after dark and had to leave by 5 am. Didn't really get to see the property or use amenities. Paid extra for property credit and was not able to use that. Requested to not be charged for it but was told my payment already went through and could not be be refunded. Asked if i could use it at a later time and was told no.
I was here for a professional HR event and this is a beautiful resort! All of the staff that I encountered were very friendly and helpful. I didn't see any of the rooms but I would definitely return!
Nice place for pool and view of pool, pond/stream or golf course is recommended if you like that. Rooms have a athentic native American theme, that cool. We stay in the deluxe king or double which has a standing shower and good size deep tub. Also this room come with a balcony. There is currently construction by the pool that has been going on for a while so might not want a room close. Can be a long walk if you stay on the east side of hotel but the views are nice from there maybe the best. Beds are comfy. There is a few restaurants on site but we found that the food was to out there for us and not a big menu. But ended up leaving the mid level restaurant and getting food by the bar which was actually really good even though it was a burger and fries and another simple dish. Small refrigerator in room. All in all nice place.
A nice property but the native flute music got tiring and the indoor fountain lent an unappealing odor to the lobby are bars.
Stayed here for a conference. Hotel over all is very nice. Didn't exlore the grounds or visit the pool so I can't comment there. The lobby music is on repeat of the same pipes over and over. Restaurants are just okay (slow service we we tried it). The conference center is nice, and well air conditioned.
Would stay again, though Phoenix isn't my normal destination when traveling
Very nice conference venue. Food and service both excellent. Sound system needs attention however.
Was a good hotel, close to the Decadence Music Festival I was working out. Stay here on the regular and always have a good stay. Decent restaurant and shopping in the area, for any supplies you may need. I will be back.
Amazing resort , beautiful installations , flawless areas beyond clean good staffing
Always a great time at the Sheraton Grand at wild horse pass! The facility is incredible and the staff is very friendly we come here a lot and will of course be coming back soon!
We went to Ko'Sin for the first time recently. The food was quite good and reminded me of Kai. This restaurant is more casual and a bit cheaper than Kai. Our experience was very pleasant.
Very nice resort. Rooms were clean, modern and we'll kept. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food from restaurants was excellent. Recommended.
The spa fabulous! The restaurant is outstanding! The property was clean and quaint. The staff was pleasing. What a nice place to stay/relax at. Thanks!
Beautiful resort. Quiet and peaceful. Three pools and great food.
My husband and I were looking for a special get away to celebrate my birthday, We made reservations for 11/27 thru 11/29 but as sometimes happens medical problems get in the way, I was diagnosed with narrow-angle glaucoma and had to have a procedure to correct it,, Because the second treatment and due to the holiday will be on 11/24 we decided to reschedule the dates to the following week. I was told that we had to pay $243.97 for cancelling and full amount to reschedule and that is their policy and they had to stick to it. Seems unfair, they charge 1/2 price for cancelling and full price to someone else therefore making money. Very disappointed !!!!
Nice digs...stayed here for 3 days for a work meeting. The conference facilities were nice and the staff was very friendly. The food was fantastic compared to meetings I've attended at other hotels. Rooms were nice but no mini fridge :(
Nice hotel and good service. Was there for a conference. They did a good job taking care of us. Wife loved the spa. Pool service was a little slow and had a small wait when I got there and when I left. Nice fitness center and walking trail.
We went to the Mother's Day buffet. The scenery is beautiful. The food, not so much. It was not fresh and there were flies everywhere. Even with the few requests we made of our server, (since it was a buffet), she either forgot or didn't care. Pretty disappointing for the cost and occasion.
Well the story starts like this.
I get my room everything goes fine.
It s a cold day my heater didn t work, so I ended up turning it completely off.
When I finally went to sleep I put my hand under the pillow and found a black hair tie which was not mine.
I went out to get some food and when I came back they had people in the parked lot checking in guest, one man was extremely rude acting like I was trespassing. Felt more of a interagation than a check in. If I m paying this much for a room I expect to be treated with respect.
Finally, I called the hotel to ask where precisely the shuttle pick up was, they said they didnt know exactly, due to being a subcontracted shuttle pick up.
So might as well stay at the holiday inn lol
Very nice resort, the pools were awesome. The food was pretty good at the poolside restaurant.
Sheraton should be embarrassed to put their name on this. There were empty Bud Light cans and trash all over the place. Must have been nice in 1990, but it looks like they haven't done a renovation since and everything is ripped or stained or broken. Chewing gum littered the hallways and stairwells. Trust me! Stay away from this place.
This is a super nice resort. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Everything is spacious and immaculate. The pools, other than being very shallow, are expansive and delightful. We also ate at several of the restaurants in the resort and all of them had excellent food, although all of it was a bit pricey.
The room was super nice, the bed was incredibly comfortable. Our room had a view of the parking lot, which wasn't great but the resort is so nice you shouldn't be hanging out in your room anyway!
The bathroom was very nice, with a huge shower and a separate bath tub. Water pressure and temperature was excellent.
So, after all that, why only four stars? (I do wish there was a 4.5 star option!) A number of reasons:
One, although there was a cabinet built for one, there was no mini fridge - the cabinet door was actually screwed closed.
Two, in this era of hotels, at this star/price level, I expect a plethora of outlets and USB ports. I had to unplug the bedside clock to plug a surge strip in so that I could use my laptop and my daughter could use her tablet.
Three, we never went to the gym because A) it was at least a half mile walk from our room and B) they expressly ban children. We travel a lot and I have never been to another hotel or resort where children were banned from the gym. (It isn't like I can just leave her in the room by herself.)
Lastly, the resort is set far away from everything on a very long road with poor signage. It is very easy to get lost, particularly at night. Also, if you don't have a car, you will have to eat in the resort, which is expensive, although the food was all very good.
I came to dinner at the Kai restaurant, it had a very good atmosphere.
Amazing is what I think about the place , the views, the aromas (inside hotel & out) and the food was the best in Phoenix Arizona. Costumer service was amazing as well great information about the tribe around the hotel. Overall I would recommend to stay at the Shereton Wild Horse. Please! please! please! try the fruit parfait coffe shop down stairs it's so fresh.
Pool is old and needs updating, slide has no staff watching it, 10+ Kids coming down at a time, not super safe. Rooms all had fridges removed, you have to ask for one, food is overpriced. However rooms are clean and staff are very friendly and helpful.
Our company has winter party here every year in one of the ballrooms. Pretty nice spot!
Beautiful place! Truly everything you'd need in a hotel and the food options are superb!
Proudly themed, amazing service and attention to detail
Beautiful location and wonderful golf course. Bar staff could have been more friendly
Reserved a king bed room, got a room with two doubles, we let that slide.
Checked in on Saturday, pool was so packed with locals it wasn't relaxing at all. Pool area is small and pools are shallow. Lot's of dirt and debris in and on top of pools. Hot tubs were disgusting, luke warm with lots of dirt and debris floating. Loungers are packed in really tight around the pool. Not relaxing or comfortable. Maid service is really late, 5pm or later. Except on the morning we were checking out they were at our room knocking on the door at 9:30a.m. They would leave 2 bottles of water in the room each day but be careful and look closely because ours had been open and drank out of. Dirty water glasses served to us down in the lobby bar. Stained sheets on our bed. I could go on and on. I have never wrote a review because I have never had this type of service before.. This hotel is rated 4 stars. I beg to differ. So not worth $200 a night. We will never return..
What a great place to relax and unwind. A perfect place for a retreat. The staff was helpful and definitely made me want to come back!
Great friendly and helpful staff. Love the showers and local art work. The views are breathtaking, the pictures don't do it justice.
Pools, trails, golf, horse back riding, kayaking, musician, restaurants, all on site. Plenty of room for massive groups.
It was very nice to look at but it's like a maze. Makes it difficult tp find your way.
The rooms are a little outdated however the nicely manicured lawn and landscape make it a very special place. Great mountain views.
This place is amazing , it's a must see bring your family out for kayaking on the river come play 18 rounds of golf on two of are exclusive courses one scene on the PGA tour!
Nice facilities and very good food. The servers, housekeeping and valet were 5 star!!!! However, middle management left my girlfriend in tears and created a horrifying experience from the moment we checked in until we checked out.
Clean facilities, nice staff, and lots of amenities. Especially like the water slide.
The hotel looks lovely as did our room, and the food and service has been good so far. I am rating it a three because our room looks over the pool and it is WAY too noisy. Yesterday (Friday) there were kids screaming in the pool pretty much all day. They were having a ton of fun and that's great, but if you want a quiet place, this is not for you! Today (Saturday) we returned after an invigorating walk at South Mountain and there's music is literally blasting across the entire property - 80s pop music - seems like an over exuberant disc jockey at the helm. Ouch! I was so looking forward to sitting on the balcony and reading or visiting with my husband, but no way can I stand it out there. We had to close the slider and read inside. I have been to many, many resorts and raised three boys who we took on many vacations at resorts. They definitely played in the pool and were rambunctious and sometimes loud, but I have never experienced LOUD music blasting across an entire resort for hours on end as though someone rented the place for a wedding.
Had an amazing stay, exceptional service. The hotel is amazing with amazing views. The hotel has a beautiful pool with pool side service. Its great for meetings and conferences. The environment is soothing and relaxing.
This is truly a special place, and has quickly become my special place. Every member of the staff understand the importance of great customer service and the importance of having a space for quiet reflection and relaxation. The grounds are beautiful, the hotel smells amazing. I wish I could bottle up that fragrance that they waft through the halls. The ambiance is just what I need when I come for my mental health, renewal staycations.
