The term "Spa" is misleading . The outdoor Jacuzzis are both barley lukewarm. I complained twice, and got excuses ( "too hot outside", "propane tanks not working properly") and promises to "have the engineers look at it", but nothing was done during my 7 day stay. The steam room and sauna at the Aji Spa next to the fitness room are only accessible with an additional $210.00 spa package fee. Nice setting, but if you want a hot soak under the stars you will be dissappointed.

The conference rooms are very clean and spacious and have an elegant southwestern design. They also have ample facilities for large gatherings. I have attended two work functions here, and both times the staff was very courteous, and the catered dinners were excellent.

Second time staying at this hotel. Super nice grounds, great walking trails and fantastic pool. The rooms are very nice and the staff is definitely very friendly and helpful. The two negatives to this place is how far and long you have to drive off the highway to get to the hotel, and along the same lines: how far you have to walk to get to your room. Some of the rooms are such a far walk from the lobby/pool. But I don't hold that against them too much as I have stayed here before and will probably come back again.

We booked a vacation to get away on short notice - Dec 25 - Dec 28th, then stayed 3 nights in Scottsdale. The room was spacious, the shower and tub terrific, the bed was comfortable. Our only grievance was the pillows were much thicker than we are use to which left us both with tweaked necks the next morning until we showered them out. We used their "green" option, since we don't require our towels changed, everyday. We were very pleased with the hotel's support staff on all counts. Compared to other places we stayed and check the value of this hotel seemed good to us in retrospect. The hotel reserves the rooms with the best views for their premier customers, which was not us. Hence the view from our balcony consisted of two trees with no foliage and patches of walkway, river, bridge and desert beyond, which we enjoyed immensely. There were plenty of other relatively quiet areas to sit and chill or just chat with great views. They only had three fireplaces going in the evening often occupied by football watchers. They also had an outdoor firepit which was burning every night next to the pools. We really liked sitting on our room balcony catching up on our reading. Quite a large number of Kansas football supporters were in town for the bowl game and watching all the purple shirted people walking around was amusing. There was noticeable but not annoying background noise from the near-by motorsport which could be heard lying in bed between 7 - 9 AM as the cars raced around the track. Primarily you could hear it in the distance because it was otherwise, really, really quiet. That is, the sound of the cars was lower than someone talking on the ground below.

Most folks appeared to hang out by the plethora of pools, and even though the kids slide was not suppose to be working during our visit period, there were a few dad's with tiny kids slipping down it like sea otters - probably enjoying the lack of competition for the resource. The place is surrounded by golf courses, and we observed a consistent number of people on the courses. Didn't get to the casino. In one of the reviews, someone mentioned hiking, which for me would involve some vertical elevation. We wanted to "hike" their trail, which is basically a really sweet path that rambles through the desert on the very large grounds around the hotel and I think covers a two mile stretch. I use the term hike loosely here because it doesn't involve more than about 36" of vertical from start to finish. The hike does pass by a number of water areas and there appeared to be drinking fountains spaced along the trail for those water buffalo individuals among us.

We did not use the spa this trip, however, the gym was very good. They had (don't quote me on the numbers) 3-4 nordic style machines, 3-4 tread mills, a full circuit of other machines, kettle balls, full rack of dumbells, full weight rack, towels service, TV's on the machines, pull ups, pull downs, half a dozen TV's overhead, full mirrored wall, rubber mats and plenty of floor space. I'm still sore. If you can't get your burn on at this place you aren't trying very hard. The place was virtually empty from 7 PM to 10 PM most nights. While I did not go in the morning, we saw a small number of the purple people headed that way each morning.

Parking was free with plenty available, although it is a definite walk to your room if you don't use their valet service at the front door. If you aren't someone who deals well with walking more than 100 yards you may want to mention that when you book. We rented a car and you can get from the Wild Horse to anywhere in Glendale, Phoenix, Scottsdale and Chandler in roughly 30-40 minutes on the highways.

Very beautiful, elegant hotel with a calming atmosphere. The surrounding area gave a feeling of isolation from the city rush making for a peaceful stay. If staying at this hotel/resort, I would recommend a stay of 3 or more days to allow time to check out all the hotel really has to offer. There is a 18-hole golf course, a spa, inviting pools, boat adventures, tennis courts, and trails to hike on. The property is surrounded by a shallow stream that incorporates waterfalls that lead to a huge pond/small lake. The rooms are nicely set up and even have a separate shower and a larger than average bathtub. The beds are super comfortable and the staff was amazing and helpful. It is pretty high priced, but the environment reflects it so feels worth it.

Purchased resort room off of Trivago. Was advertised as "all included". You get there, and it's out in the middle of nowhere, and it's a big cash grab when they "have you" at the resort. There is no free wifi; they require almost $13.00 per day for Internet access. They leave out that it is $25.00 to park your car overnight. This is a typical "advertise one price" and then "fee the marks to death" when you "have them" at the facility. Beware, the rooms are nice but it's a big cash grab perpetrated on the guests when you are there.

Amazing hotel within walking distance of Rawhide Wild West World. Huge hotel with a relaxing pool and super fun water slide! Highly recommend for vacations, staycation and even just a lovely dinner at Aja. Highly recommend around holidays and especially New Year's Eve. Brandon and Nick in the Lobby Bar are so friendly and fun to chat with over a drink at the bar. Would go back just to see them again.

Want your girl to be treated like a princess, this is the place. They didn't nice and dime every little thing and the set up in the room was perfect. I had a great night with drinks, walking the grounds and alone time together on the 4 the floor in our room. Room service in the middle of the night as well as breakfast served with all the little things that make it so special. We spent the night not worrying about the bill and was dreading the amount in the morning. I was so surprised when the bill came. We didn't even go over our budget. Will be back for date nights again. She will love all the attention you get from the staff here. Perfect night out!

Great hotel, great service, and great food.

What more can a guy say?

Don't expect budget anything, however... but it's a decent place to stay in the desert!

The service was exceptional from EVERY staff member we encountered. The room was very clean and had all the essentials but the bathroom was a nice surprise - large and had a separate shower. For those of us who struggle to get in and out of the usual tub/shower combo and then hang on so we don't slip, this was a very welcome option. It also had a large soaking tub for those that are so inclined. The focus of our visit was the pool and given it was the July 4th weekend we were concerned that it would be crazy busy. The size of the pool area combined with the availability of 3 pools resulted in a very comfortable experience - we did not feel like we were stacked in there. The staff engaged the younger guests in several pool games and everyone received a prize. We ate two meals at the pool restaurant and we were very pleased with the quality of the food presented. There were ample staff available in the pool area to meet our needs. The pool area was clean and we appreciated having a choice of pools along with the waterslide. There was even a live band playing which added to the party vibe of the day.
We had very young children in our group so we didn t want anything that was too wild and overwhelming. The poolside activities were just the right level of fun and happy!
Again the staff was outstanding and made the difference between a great stay and an exceptional one. Highly recommend this resort for families.

Nice and comfortable stay here. A bit removed from everywhere but then again it s Arizona. Loved the fire pit outside and the little coffee shop on the lower level has excellent breakfast food. Stayed here on a business trip and was still able to enjoy the pool and facilities.

We are spg platinum members and travel agents had a hard time booking in advance adjoining rooms, suites are kinda small for the price in comparable places we have stayed... People at front desk at times have attitudes...best crew they have are bellhops, valets and cleaning crew and shout out to maintenance for going on the roof in the middle of the night to shut off our bathroom fans they were noisy... We will stay again! It was nice and quiet! And the restaurant was good.... Menu a little weird but edible!

A very large resort. Rooms do not come standard with a microwave or a refrigerator. The pools were very clean and are salt water. They had water cups outside for convenience in the hot weather, but there were never any cups. All of the hallways were carpeted. Very hard to push a wheelchair through. The rooms are far away from most of the facilities especially the conference area. The hotel had a Southwest Native American motif and had Indian artifacts spread throughout. I would stay again, provided I could get a close room and a refrigerator.

Beautiful facility, amenities plentiful. Golf courses were awesome.
Food and drink a little pricey, but no big deal.
The only negative was the maid took about $3 of loose change from the desk one morning.
Good thing we had our expensive things in the safe.

Nice looking resort with a nice menu, very good pours, friendly accommodating staff.
pools are ok for kids, not adults, and the place is too isolated for my taste. You can't just walk across to another restaurant or Gas station as it's way off and outside the huge desert premises. Just some things you should know beforehand.

I stayed at your hotel through the Dec 30- Jan 1 . I m reaching out today do to the bad experience I recently had. Once going into the room I look around and notice a used bandaid on the wall and ductape on the side other side of the wall. I called in and asked when the room was last cleaned but I was told it was cleaned previously . Not to mention when I was checking the patio door the whole thing fell down. Then while taking the shuttle New Years Eve to get to the casino we waited in the rain for 30 min to get on. Plus on top of that the shuttle driver was very rude. I ve been staying at your hotel the past 3 years for New Years and this has to be one of the worst experiences I ve had. People pay great money to stay at your establishment and having the experience we had with a dirty room, broken door and keeping people in the rain instead of making adjustments has just put a bad taste in my mouth. Thank you for your time and consideration.

This resort is beautiful. The location is a bit obscure, but you certainly feel like you've been lifted out of a metropolitan area when you stay here. The rooms are nice and very clean. Staff are very friendly and the food resort-wide is incredible. I've also hosted major events in their conference center and have had incredible experiences. Again, top notch staff, excellent banquet food and very nice facilities.
