Beautiful hotel!!! They make sure you are well taken care of. Had to call in the middle of the night due to noise and security came up and dealt with it. Needed a steamer for clothes and the had one I could borrow. So many great ameneties!!! Loved my stay!

We were here for a wedding. It is convenient to the airport, but not to any of the attractions in Tampa and surrounding area. (Go to hotel website and click "area attractions." None are close and the traffic takes getting there much longer than the mileage would suggest.) You can walk to the bay via a boardwalk, but there is no beach.. We had lunch-1823 and dinner-Oystercatchers, both were fine, but not great. There just isn't much to do here without going somewhere else. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. We rented bikes, facilitated by the concierge. He was uninterested in helping us, hurrying so much that we had to ask for helmets, then locks, and then directions, which were not clear. Google let us down and did not give us the best route, but we asked a local biker who did help. You can ride over the causeway, but it is 18 miles to Clearwater Beach. The wedding venue was next to a pool and it was hard to hear the ceremony with children playing right next door. We have been to a few destination weddings. I would select one on a beach where the setting and activities are better.
Stayed on the Clubhouse floor and for some reason i was expecting "MORE" BUUUUT.....It was just your basic hotel room bed, tv, desk, small chair for sitting, and a small fridge. I guess based off experience with other hotels like Twelve at Atlantic Station in Atlanta were we had a full kitchen, living room, a larger bathroom, and a balcony i was left a little disappointed. The staff was very friendly and there was always someone to open the door for you, fruit infused water in the Lobby, and cookies in the morning. The room alone is what gives this hotel a 3 star as it is very lacking. We always stay on Clubhouse and Penthouse floors so again I just expected more.
Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay is right on the Bay. Waterside hotel rooms have a great view of Tampa Bay and the sunset. It has a bar and restaurant. They also serve a full continental breakfast as well as hot breakfast menu items. Stayed there on a Friday evening and the lounge and restaurant was busy. It has a gift shop that caters to both tourists and as well as the business traveler.
Fantastic hotel! Great service, everyone was so nice. The room was very clean and we were upgraded to a water front view. Even has a nature trail! Would definitely return again.
I was at Grand Hyatt to pick up potential clients in order to take them to dinner. The hotel was extremely clean, and the bar was well placed as you entered the lobby. The bar in the lobby was busy. I also noticed the nice pool area that seemed a bit small for the size of the hotel. The location of the hotel is fantastic as it's just a few minutes from the airport, but due to it's location on the water, it feels extremely secluded.

The people here are fantastic. We came for our anniversary and when we came down for dinner our server must have been informed because he congratulated us and bought us our first round of drinks. Room was clean and to our liking.
Beautiful grounds and building. Room was comfortable, quiet and roomy. Staff, especially the bell staff, were very friendly and helpful. The pool was smaller tjan it looked in the picture on the website, but still lovely.
Armani's restaurant was wonderful. Great good, wine and service. Loved the view!

But, bad front desk workers. They stare and makes comments while you pass by.
People really who work at front desk should be polite and respectful to their guests. Regardless of how big/good your hotel is your employees can totally bring you bad reputation. Every time, I had to pass the front desk people, I felt they were laughed at my back.

Beautiful hotel! Had a great stay and the rooms are really nice. The view from Armani's on the 14th floor is awesome.
I attended a business networking event there. The appearance and atmosphere seemed great.
People are friendly and helpful. Shout out for the lady at breakfast and valet guy Gerald. Super helpful and respectful. Casita suite was amazing with high ceiling and Balmain toiletries. Not Ferragamo at other G.H. Which smelt too sweet.
Amazing hotel. Sooo clean and the bay view rooms are totally worth the extra money, its gorgeous! Will be coming back here next time I'm in Tampa. It has been remodeled recently and so the furniture and bathrooms look new and very modern.

Excellent location. Trails and walkways next to Courtney Campbell Causeway leading to Cypress Point Beach Park. Service was second to none. I will definitely go back and highly recommend.
The location is centered between Tampa, St.Pete and Clearwater. Great for conferences and more greater towards business travelers. Staff here are very professional and accommodating.
We love it every time we go here. The service and food is fantastic, and we sometimes visit oystercatchers as well. Overall a great place.

The location is perfect for a quick getaway as it feels like you are secluded even though you are minutes from everything. Armanis is definitely one of the best restaurants in all of Tampa to watch the sunset. If you can I would definitely spring for the Grand Club level room, it comes with access to the "Grand Club" which also has an amazing view of the bay. Definitely a good to spot for my next staycation!

Well upon arrival to the Hotel we found out that are rooms were not in the main hotel, they were at another location which where Casitas. The person who took our reservations didn't make it clear when we booked our rooms what a Casita was. However, the rooms were clean. Saw a lot of little lizards. A big hissing cockroach got into my room, which we freaked out and a big lizard got into the other party's room. We had refrigerator, coffee maker yet no microwave in the room. So don't save any leftover food you can reheat it up. No complimentary breakfast. We really didn't feel secure/safe, so we put stuff in front of the doors, in case someone tried to get in, while we slept. It's like being in a bungalow. Rooms service was very nice, greeters at the main hotel were nice too. However, our stay was peaceful, but I rather been in the main hotel.

The rooms are clean and nice, the view of the bay is unbelievable, and the service is great. The only reason I dropped one star is because I was not impressed with the breakfast.

A beautiful hotel, the rooms are wonderful. I was here for a conference and it was a great location. The food was a bit sub par but otherwise I really enjoyed it. The property is in a great spot. Airport and freeway are very close. And it has some stupendous views.

Wonderful hotel with all the amenities one would expect from a Grand, luxurious facilities, multiple locations to eat, a wonderful secluded beach Cabana (restaurant/bar), with lots to explore. Be sure to check out the path down to the beach, you will not regret the short walk. Spacious rooms, polite staff.. an excellent home away from home.

So what if the staff here provides better service than many Ritz Carlton, it's only here where you find the 2 best restaurants in the Tampa and St Pete area in a single location... Unbeatable and flawless stay and dining since I started staying here and eating here in 1995. The were a couple of off years around 2010 when Massimo , the chef at Armani's left to start his own restaurant but Armani'squickly recovered and is once again the best dining experience in Tampa. Oyster Catchers , the other restaurant has hands down the best Sunday brunch in Tampa. And the second best dining behind Armani's...

This is a really beautiful hotel. Recently renovated. I stayed in the casitas and loved it. It is the nicest hotel I found in the immediate Tampa area.
Really nice larger Hyatt and the "casitas" on the bay are nice larger places. They do a great job given their location which is really just wedged in between TPA airport, highways, and the bay. Bay is not really that scenic. Great for a few nights, but definitely not an extended stay location-- BUT a nice nearby refuge better than most "airport hotels" by far. Great service!

Enjoyed Diwali celebrations yesterday. Strategically located; with quick and easy access to all the local highways. Abundant parking, very efficient valet parking. Clean, airy with great views. What is there to complain about?
I love it here. Probably the best hotel in town. Rooms with airport view or nay view are available. Rooftop restaurant and patio is awesome. Rooms are big and clean and staff is nice and helpful.
Ok tried not to be negative...BUT stay elsewhere ! We have experienced such a bad experience. The pool service is terrible. Order something and and hour later you get it ...and by the way 20% is added on so be careful. We requested turn down service - it never happened.
Had the Sunday brunch. Excellent seafood selection; loved the caviar and oysters. They also have an omelette bar and pasta bar. Has a great view of the bay.
People always write bad reviews to warn other people about a place, but this place was amazing. From checking in with Jesse, to having drinks by the pool with Leann and excellent service from Taylor at 1823. We were pleased our entire stay. The whole staff was so nice to us, we didn t run into one person who wasn t helpful. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel! The hotel is away from everywhere so you do need transportation but besides that it was a great weekend!
Oystercatchers is by far the best restaurant for it's price and service. The staff is always attentive, sweet and knowledgeable. Order the freshest fish you can and sit back and enjoy.

Nice clean hotel, if you are on a business trip I would recommend this place. It is pricy for the area so it not a place I would recommend for a nights trip if you are paying out of pocket.
This hotel is so great! We went there for our honeymoon and we couldn t have been more happy! The view is beautiful and the 24 hour room service is great! The rooms are so clean, so modern and beautiful! Can t wait to go back!
The staff were very nice and helpful, and we had no issue when asking for more clean towels. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. They also have a nice path to walk on in the back of the hotel which lead to gazebos and a relaxing ocean view.
We were very pleased with excellent guest services, great food in the 1823 Kitchen & best ever cocktails in the rooftop Armani lounge.

Very clean hotel, staff was very welcoming, attend as part of a conference would defintely come back on my own. Parking was a little confusing could use better signage for infrequent guests.
I was not a guest, however we were dropped off by an Uber at the front to eat at their oystercatchers restaurant. It ended up being a 10 minute walk down the path and it was pouring rain. The staff was nice enough to drive me and my colleague neither of which were guests down to the restaurant for no charge (we did tip). The food was excellent at the restaurant. I had blackened tile on a bed of goat cheese, jalapenos, peas, and creamed corn. Highly recommend
