Went for anime north, very beautiful hotel and very well kept and organised
Very nice hotel. Stayed there for the weekend. No free wi-fi was a downside considering the price, but everything else was great!
Went for the anime north conference and it was great! They really catered to there guests even if it was a rather strange conference.
Expensive, in my opinion. Clean but older and a little tired. Good bed. Example of expensive, $50.00 for buffet breakfast for two. Parking for week stay handy, just a few steps out back entrance.
Was at a conference and it was well organized and breakfast was great
Great place for social events, as long as they are small. All the staff where great, hotel was nice and clean. Our room was nice and clean. Good food at the restaurant too.
Since this hotel is close to the airport, the sounds of planes landing and taking off kept me up for a large portion of the night. Shuttle bus to and from the airport is available every 30 minute's. Breakfast is expensive, I have a cup of coffee, french toast and sausage for just under 22$.
I did not book here. Air Canada had maintenance issues with a flight and missed my connection.
Very good experience check in was easy and room very specious and clean
Good place, good location, and good food. Lots of potholes in the parking lot though.
The food in the restaurant was very good. Service was good, very friendly.
Other than the airplane noise until 11pm the establishment was top notch. Very nice staff and food was great.
Good food and a somewhat convenient location which was 1 TTC bus from Pearson. Many people mistook the other Sheraton at the airport for this one though.
Arriving late at 10:30 pm for a short overnight stay since I have a conference starting at 8am which means I would likely leave by uber/lyft by 7am or so to be a little early to find the conference area in a large facility..
When I arrived checkin was okay. I heard from a couple of guests in elevator that they were without electricity on several floors so their rooms were hot. Room was recently renovated but saw a huge crack/break on the top of toilet tank that was glued together.
The issue occurred when going downstairs to checkout. There was a sign saying elevatorwas out and it seemed to point to elevator on left. After waiting for close to 10 mins and despite call elevator being on but not coming I walked down to check put. I mentioned it and the person said I should have used the service elevator around the corner but the notices were not clear. When I brought that to the attention of that staff the attitude was close to could not care less... very poor customer service..
Set overnight by Air Canada and hastily overnight.
It was fun to see the plane passing right above the hotel! The restaurant and the room were both comfortable.
My experience was excellent! Rooms very clean, with several amenities. Staff very friendly with a nice attitude. Hotel near the airport with a large parking lot. Price is fair (in my opinion) according to the hotel. I didn't order any room service or meal so I cannot talk about it. It is a very good option if you need to stay near Toronto Pearson airport. It is highly recommended.
My review is ONLY for the restaurant. I went for dinner during the holiday. Butternut squash soup was sooo spicy that it burned my mouth. Horrible! The turkey dinner for Xmas was very good.
However, I was charged for asking for extra gravy, which is outrageous, especially given that I spent over $80 for ONE adult meal! Then they gave me AU JUS, NOT GRAVY. I told 2 waitresses, neither of whom fixed the problem, disgraceful, and bith FALSELY told me, yes, it is SO gravy. I should have demanded a manager.
Never again.
The dessert buffet with the chocolate fountain was SUBLIME.
Attended for the Anime North convention and was treated courteously and with respect. Very accomadating.
Every detail was wonderful. Only one thing I would like would be more wash cloths. But otherwise the staff, room, restaurant/bar etc was great.
Great facilities team. Very rapid changeover. Comfortable room with loud airplanes overhead.
This hotel does as much as possible to accommodate guests needs.
Perfect service. Had to stay here because of delayed flights. Luc at the front desk made the stay extra comfortable. Offered complimentary snacks and drinks because the restaurant was closed. Really nice of him. Will defenitaly stay again. Highly recommended.
I was at this hotel because my original flight was delayed and I ended up in Toronto overnight. The people at the front desk when I arrived where very helpful and nice. When I went up to the room they assigned me in I found used tissues in the side table and went down to request a new room. They were very accommodating in getting me another room and moving my wake up call and they apologized for the inconvenience. I would have stayed in the room but I was concerned that if they missed some tissues right beside the bed that maybe they didn't clean the bed either, overall a pretty good experience other than that one incident.
I wasn't a guest my car broke down and I got towed from their parking lot
The rooms are newly renovated and quite nice. A lot of small touches like extra charging ports and a nice chaise lounge make it very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Good place to watch planes coming from the east land
Great service , rooms are nicer than avg for category 3. Great location
Not the newest place in town. The hosts were very polite and professional. Really have to say, the two gentlemen behind the desk were extremely helpful from the beginning to end.
Exterior looked dated. But interior was decent. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Professional setup and support.
Hotel staff was friendly and rooms were clean. Surprised to learn I had to pay $20 per night for parking. Also, hotel is directly under the flight path (landing) for a runway at the airport. May not be the best place to stay if you're a light sleeper or don't like the noise.
Older hotel in desperate need for renovations. The staff was nice, and it s relatively close to the airport, but other than that, this hotel has nothing going for it.
Came for a conference and had fantastic food. A little chilly in the large open areas so bring a sweater
Room was fine, super hot and the pillows were not very good but friendly staff and we had a nice view of the airport.
The room and the building in general was very clean and fairly new. The facilities were also nice, including a fitness centre and indoor pool. However, the service was not great, with our towels not being replaced and our body wash/shampoo not being replaced either. Bathrobes were also left out rather than put away. Overall, great hotel but subpar service.
Nice, clean hotel. Good for having a good night's rest before a flight out in the morning. The airport shuttle was on time and very quick to get to the terminal.
It has free airport transfer service and friendly staff, just missing a bit of remodeling in the rooms.
we had requested a wheelchair accessible room. Well, it was, but just barely. The doorway to the room was quite narrow difficult to maneuver, I wouldn't have been able to do it myself. The beds are also very high. Also, the shuttle from the airport to the hotel is NOT wheelchair accessible and again, the steps to go up on the shuttle are high and steep. Most of the other hotel shuttles are accessible, you'd think with the Sheraton name this one would be too. The bathroom is very accessible though. It does seem that they have done the bare minimum to classify themselves as having ADA rooms.
The pool is nice, it was nice to be able to swim in a warm pool. No hot tub.
The Toronto Sheraton hotel was a wonderful experience while I attended a major convention. The convention had over 10,000 attendees with all local hotels very booked and busy. The Sheraton staff were very pleasant and patient throughout the entire weekend with every guest, some of which spoke limited English. The room was an excellent size with modern decor and large windows. There was strangely no bar fridge as I usually expect in hotel rooms of this size however. I did not eat on site as there are multiple excellent restaurants within walking distance and even more when driving. The pool was large with ample room even with the hotel so busy. I will be staying here again.
The conference center is perfect. Great staff, amazing food and clean, safe location. The hotel is directly in line with one of the landing/takeoff and you hear and feel planes going by all day and night.
Bar/lounge was beautiful and the staff attentive and friendly
Nice and run well. Staff was helpful and they had ample parking.
The bar was decent, the food is great with a few good options. Service is ok.
I didn't stay at the hotel but eat at the restaurant and it was the best experience that I've had in a very long time. the service was great and the steak was to die for.
It has like big rooms for conventions and parking for thousands of cars, and it's not far from the airport. It kind of fulfills the basic requirements of an airport convention center. It is neither especially beautiful nor especially ugly, but it works.
Rooms were nice and clean but I left a pair of trainers and a plug in the room. We called the hotel multiple times to be told that the cleaners had looked in the room but this is hard to believe when we weren t told this information until we rang time and time again. I m led to believe that my items have been stolen or the hotel cannot simply be bothered to look properly in the room. I would leave a better review if Sheraton improved their service
Good hotel. Not the most modern hotel around but it's good enough for a quick stay.
Stayed on the Club Floor. Sheraton really does know how to do it right in almost every conceivable. Literally the first time in history a hotel has provided shaving as part of the toiletries package. Got an early check-in for a business meeting. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was great.
Beautifully decorated restaurant and very good service.
Love it.. confrence rooms are pretty good for seminar.. food serve is very good quality and healthy options
Lovely hotel. Comfortable beds. The staff is wonderful.
The reservation site I used included breakfast. The said "Continental breakfast" was an expansive and beautiful buffet.
Staying on the 2nd floor near the 30s is over the kitchen. It is a bit noisy in the evening and early morning as it should be. Just a thought for others staying here. Was told to stay on the lower floors perhaps due to the planes flying over. They stop near 10 pm and start near 6 am. Not a problem for me.
