Sheraton Steamboat Resort and Conference Center Review

The staff has been very friendly and helpful during the course of our stay. The room is very nice and has plenty of room. The on site activities have been an added treat.

Friendly staff, smells of new carpet and updated facilities. A good place to be!

Very nice breakfast, the rest of the hotel is what you would expect, similar to a holiday inn. No shuttle to the mountain, but the city bus picks you up near the entrance.

The hotel is fantastic. There is everything you need in the room - utensils, cups, etc. Even a washer and dryer! My only mild complaint is that everything was under construction and it didn't look all that great. But the room itself was great and the bed was very comfortable. I found it weird they didn't have anyone at the front desk, but once you dial the phone, they come out right away. Overall, a great stay.

Every detail was taken care of. The resort was beautiful and the Concierge was super helpful. I would definitely love to go back during Ski season

I talked to David the operator asking about what type of mattresses the resort uses and he was so incredibly rude to me. My family and I stayed there for TWO WEEKS. I don t think we deserve to be talked to the way we did. He kept referring me to the manager and said he could not help me. I said, All you need to do is having someone lift up the sheet and tell you what kind of mattress it is! And he kept saying, we re not staffed for that and oh well, you re going to have to wait. I can t believe the conversation I had just had with him. We won t be returning.

The suite we stayed in was very nice. The new remodel was done well.

This has been the worst experience with Vistana ever! This is NOTHING more then a mediocre motel with grossly understated construction. BEWARE if you are expecting more.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! Loved being right on the slopes! We booked the same room again for next year! Can't wait to enjoy the mountains!

COVID 19 has made traveling a less rewarding experience. As an owner, I'm glad we are open but not glad services are so limited. This ia a wonderful facility. I hope we return to normal soon.

These folks give Marriott a bad name. The service is better at a super 8. Somehow shutting down the pool & the hot tub, not cleaning rooms and treating guests poorly will make Covid go away I guess? I called Down to the office when we got there to tell them they had water all over the floor, that the water was running down from the room above in the kitchen. She told me they wouldn t come look at it because of Covid. I told them it wasn't something they would want to ignore, she just told me it was Marriott policy and hung up the phone on me...
They have just used the current environment to totally give up on anything that even resembles human decency. This isn t a Marriott issue, it s the attitude of the local management. I stayed in a Sheraton in Juneau Alaska just 2 nights earlier and had a great experience...

The rooms are beautiful and spacious. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Love the shuttle that takes you wherever you need to go. I had a facial at the spa and that was very good too! Great Location.

We had a beautiful room complete with a full kitchenette, washer and dryer and a beautiful view of the gondola! The reception staff were exceptional. They gave us a detailed explanation of the sights, food and expected costs and marked them on a map for us. First class service and a great experience.

We stayed in the new building which was really nice. The lobby and other areas are under construction which wasn't a big deal except to try to check in. Not enough area for incoming people to park and check in.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful. They always had a smile. Patty, at the concierge desk was such a joy. Her laugh is contagious! Thankful she recognized and always greeted us. Lots of clean towels in the pool area.
One inconvenience is the shuttle doesn't start until 12:15. Most other resorts we stay at, the shuttle starts at 9am. We just ended up using our car more than we wanted since walking to town was an hour walk.

Beautiful villas, excellent amenities, friendly staff. Little "extra" charges add up but otherwise fantastic stay

All I can say is wow. The accommodations were amazing and the hospitality was even better. This place was a 10/10.

I have nothing but good things to say about this property. It has gone through some major renovations and looks great. The lobby has been transformed into a useful space equipped with a market to by groceries and bar area to have a drink/bite Apres-Ski. I was there during their busiest time of year and the staff was fantastic. Everything went smoothly and efficiently from check-in to towel service to ski-check. My room was a fantastic 1 bedroom villa with a separate living room and a well-equipped kitchen. I was able to cook breakfast and dinner with ease. The outdoor pool facilities were clean and always stocked with fresh towels. the shuttle service to town was perfect. Always on time and very accommodating. All in all, this is a fantastic property with great staff. They did a wonderful job at keeping up with the crowds over winter break. Well done!

We arrived late, 10pm and the staff was extremely courteous. The main desk clerk was on a restroom break and the doorman didn t know how to check us in. He quickly called the lady at the gate house and she literally RAN down to the lobby to make sure we were checked in quickly. The facility was clean and the room was nice. The concierge had a great breakfast recommendation and gave us some good advice on visiting the hot spring. He even encouraged us to take the hotel towels and robes because the hot spring charges you if you need some.

Went there for a late lunch after taking wedding photographs. Location is fantastic, right at the base of the slopes and near the gondola to Thunderhead. The menu at the restaurant was a bit lacking and we ended up just going with a few orders of somewhat bland and boring nachos.

We really like this hotel overall and have been here a number of times. Staff and all accommodations are great. They are doing a great job managing COVID as well. One star off just because as is the trend, they charge $20 per day for parking...even when there s tons of open space and the lot we have to park in (height restriction) is a far walk. I just really don t go for the pay to park trend at hotels, especially one like this where 90% of all visitors have a car. Reminds me of when hotels used to charge for Wi-Fi.

BEST SERVICE EVER!!! Hunter was such an amazing host at the front and the valet service is top notch. We were greeted with smiles and good positive energy. Book the slope-side rooms so you can enjoy the crisp fresh mountain scenery. Three thumbs up!!!

Customer service is superb. Location is amazing for skiers and snowboarders and the spa is excellent for those who want to relax. Food is good. Feel is friendly. Decor is lovely and they simply make your trip easy.

Great location, clean rooms. Lots of construction going on behind the building (an eyesore), but not bad.

Great place to stay with excellent amenities. Comfortable and friendly service. Staff extremely helpful with offering recommendations and were responsive to requests for extra items. Kids club was closed and it didn't offer board games/cards or many entertainment options. The room was a bit dusty and required a wipe down prior to unpacking. I would definitely stay again!

We have a 2 bedroom condo for the week. It is nice, but the kitchen/dining/living room area is much smaller than in other condos we have rented. The refrigerator is smaller than a full size fridge. I was told (per phone call) that in the kitchen there was a microwave, 4 burner stovetop, small dishwasher, & fridge, but no oven.i thought that was strange, as it was advertised as a full kitchen...it should also have an oven.

The front desk ckerk did not tell me that the microwave is also a convection oven. So if you are reading this, & you cook meals in the room, know that there IS an oven as well. Kitchen has a few plates, cups, stainless steel cooking pans, but not fully stocked with utinsels for cooking. Beaitiful setting, condo is right at the bottom of the ski slopes.

Tough time to be a hotel these days.
Sheets were clean.
Elevator worked.
Staff did their best.

Best place to stay if you are skiing or snowboarding at Steamboat.

Very convenient for easy on and off the mountain.

Balcony let's you enjoy the motion of the cats working on the mountain at night, enjoy the half pipe, watch the active slopes during the day

Stayed in the 3 bedroom villa top floor...beautiful view. Though we are just passing through on our two wheeled trip, this would be an amazing place to stay a while. Wife and I rode the mountain coaster...littke pricey, but fun ...

The only negative I saw was the apparantly new "no dog" policy. Other than that...great spot!

Awesome hotel with nice, spacious rooms right on the slopes of Steamboat. Great views of the slopes and easy access to slopes. Saddles market on the lobby floor is also a convenient place to buy snacks, drinks, and other necessities. Overall a great place to stay when skiing at Steamboat! Definitely a bit expensive but well worth it!

Amazing deals on gorgeous two-story villas in the spring time! They are like roomy condos! Service is great too! Will definitely be back!! Parking is a little extra, but you can leave and come back whenever you want. Great restaurants within walking distance, and one on site as well. Outstanding location and views! And even a well-equipped gym. Loved it!

We visited during "mud season" which was fantastic for us. The accommodations were amazing, and the concierge Mathew was by far the best concierge we've met with at an SPG property. We stayed in the Morningside tower and it was spectacular with amazing views of the mountain. Will definitely return to this property.

This place is GREAT. I booked last minute and paid for my procrastination. But it was worth it in my opinion. We stayed the last weekend in March. Upon arrival we we're upgraded from a 1 bedroom Villa to a 2 bedroom Villa. Thank you Sheraton (baring I don't get a charge on my bill for it). The 2 bedroom villa fit my family of 4 perfectly. The room was very clean and beautiful. Huge flat screen TV's in all rooms. Mostly full kitchen minus the oven, by no means a complaint. And washer and dryer IN ROOM. The gondola is a very short walk from hotel. I hope to return in the future as long as prices are reasonable. I haven't done any rate checking for further out dates.

Newly renovated with a prime location to the slopes. This hotel has several different rooms to choose from. They have small kitchens in them with a microwave and two top burners. There is a full size fridge and a sink as well as a small eating table and chairs. The rooms are a good size and the bed was very comfortable. Downstairs is conveniently located to the parking garage and also the ski shop where you can store your skis. There is a bar and a restaurant to get breakfast and all meals. Overall a great place to stay.

Great location as lifts originate just outside the hotel, and the basement floor houses a ski shop for rentals etc. Rooms were spacious with kitchen facilities. The town itself is lovely in winter and the ski village is relatively new and pleasant

This is a hidden gem! Right at the base of the mountain. Great outdoor space, for families and adults alike! Rooms are gorgeous and the layout is great! Pool is slightly small but still enjoyed 2 time slots.

We had a couples massage today and it was amazing! Very nice and clean. Wonderful staff and absolutely the best massages we've ever had.

I booked and studio and they upgraded me to a 1 bedroom because I asked for a balcony, which was really nice. Ended up in a handicap accessible room with a bad view but was happy to take it. Place is really clean. Room had utensils cooktop microwave oven fridge, even a blender. it was like staying in a small apartment. Definitely recommended. Pictures of rom 212

Just visted Sheraton in Steamboat Colarado for the first time.Great location. was not impressed about the room or service..( we are owners) And have had better treatment staying in a hotel..

Horrible customer service, rude people. Horrible let breakfast, a half full cup of coffee and pre-made to go garbage. Can't check ski boots. There are way better options than this place

Whenever my family visits Steamboat Springs, we stay at the hotel. It is right in front of the ski resort and also close to downtown. Has a nice pool and spa.

great price and location, staff is super friendly and rooms are spacey. but it is very busy.

Room is very nice, recently updated and very comfortable.

Based on my rating system this place gets a five star review. Family friendliness gets a 10. Range of activities for adults and kids gets a 10. Access to restaurants during the day gets a 10 and late evening gets an 8, recommend dining early but if you have transportation this is not an issue as there are plenty of restaurants open late evening within short driving distances.
Cleanliness gets a 10 based on our wipedown test of bathrooms and counters. Location gets a 10, the view of the ski mountain stepping out the hotel is amazing, ski in-ski out full service a huge plus, all access to skiing is literally right outside the hotel doors. Spring break is a wonderful time to visit, was able to see plenty of snowfall and the skiing was amazing. For those veteran skiiers this place is a must and for beginners as well they have beginners classes as well as a full rental facility located inside the hotel to get you skiing in no time. A definite must return destination. By the way the staff gets a 10 for friendliness and going out of their way to accommodate our needs.Thanks for the great time!

Staff was great, location great. Full size refrigerator, washer and dryer in the unit. Very comfortable stay.

Receptionist on a front desk was very nice and polite. Smiled and explain all basic points quickly. We stayed in studio with king bed. Nice comfortable room with small kitchen . Restaurant in lobby - where we got a dinner in first day - was with poor menu- that s why we decided to make our breakfast by ourself. Hot tubs outside of hotel is good for relaxing. There are a pool as well but we didn t swim. Spa and massage we couldn t reach because everything was booked. In general good hotel with great customer service. Would like to come back

Nice place, but don't stay in room #220.<br/>The staff is excellent. We also were impressed by the quality of the remodel done in the rooms. Very nice finishes and quality furniture pieces. The hotel is in a great location, at the base of the mountain and convenient to lots of restaurants. <br/>Now the bad:<br/>Room 220 has no views and the water drainage is really bad. Toilet backs up and sinks back up. Never had seen a toilet plunger in a room until now......and yes, it's needed!

This has been the best hotel we ever stayed at. They are so accommodating here. We asked to be upgraded and we did with no cost to us. The Hotel has extremely friendly staff. The Hotel has Fiber wifi for free with over 50mb down load and 65 mb upload speeds. Everything is very clean and well organized. Rooms are brand new and very well planned. The ski rental place is at the basement and very well planned and easy access. The staff there are great and very knowledgeable. They are very helpful and you get 20% off rentals for staying at the Sheraton. The lifts are right outside the Hotel very easy access. Sheraton offerers shuttle service for free. The shuttle goes all over town. To and from the Airport you have to get your own transportation.

Love everything about this place other than the lobby bar. Easy to get to the slopes with free ski valet, Underground parking, 2 floor hot tubs, friendly staff, in unit washer drier, full kitchen, and a free shuttle into town! This place made of ski weekend perfect.

Friendly staff. Spacious villas. No magnifying mirror. Sheets to short, feet touch the mattress pad. TV was 30 inch in living room corner cabinet. Awkward location for all family members to watch. Decent furniture. Nice sized robes. Fabulous views.

High end hotel at base of Steamboat. Easy lift access. Full service hotel. Very nice suites with full kitchens. Can be very busy with lots of families. Underground parking available.

Beautiful resort and amazing location, skiing is a few steps away and enjoyable. Nice room with plenty of amenities, seemed mostly clean except for a few small specs. The food was good and quick. Service was friendly and pleasant to interact with.

The staff is wonderful and professional. The rooms are comfortable and come with almost everything I need. The location is amazing!!
