The hotel is slightly older but the staff is very responsive and helpful and it has a great location. Parking is free in the hotel's underground lot. There is an equipment rental shop under the hotel to cover all your rental and demo needs. The hotel is billed as ski in-ski out and it is that way. The entrance to the gondola and chair lifts is about 10 yards from the hotel.

Ehh, don t think we will be coming back. We got to our room last night so they had plenty of time to clean the room since we were late to check in. We went to find an ice machine in response one of the workers said they clean the machine in our room every visit but the reason why we went to find one was because it was frozen with old ice because it was left on. I went to the bathroom and realized there was no toilet paper on the reel. I went to find a bathrobe and I didn t have one. I thought it was unusual because a hotel with that standard normally has one. I called the front to get two of them and it took 2 HOURS TO DELIVER A BATHROBE. I ended up falling asleep before they got there. We checked out the next day and got an Airbnb with a hottub for 25 dollars cheaper. Next time we will be doing our research this sucked.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The proximity to the gondola was super convenient, and the area you could check in/out your equipment was very straightforward and fast. The hot tub had an amazing view. My only criticism is the front desk person could have explained things a little more clearly, but overall I was very happy with the experience.

The hotel had many great amenities such as an outdoor heated pool and hot tub, work out Center, and knowledgeable concierge. Our room was clean and tidy upon arrival. The staff were very helpful and opened doors for us anytime they were near.

Most luxurious ski trip I've been on I'd say. The room was so nice, we booked it twice just to come back the following week with more family.
And if you sleep on the roof hot tub after a full day of hittin the slopes you'd do yourself a great disservice

One of the beat Sheraton hotel that I took l have seen. Very neat and clean rooms. Direct access to the ski resort. Nice suite which has view of mountain with nice and fashionable appliances. Go there especially in winter and try its whirlpool which has a great view of mountain and ski resort. The restaurant serves quality food with reasonable price.

This was such an amazing place to stay in Steamboat! We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite with a balcony and kitchenette. Very clean, comfortable and modern. The views of the ski slope and mountains were stunning! It was the perfect location and picturesque! The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. I loved that they served Starbucks and had breakfast sandwiches on the first floor, it was convenient for us early in the morning. There are other restaurants in the vicinity and ski/clothing shops. Overall, it was a wonderful stay for our first time in Colorado. Glad we stayed here! Highly recommend!

One of the best places we've ever stayed. Everything was clean, and everything we needed was provided. So convenient to the slopes, so that we could just walk right out and get to skiing.

So sorry to give this location a 1 star. We've stayed here several times in the past and have always had amazing experiences. We are timeshare owners within the "Vistana" family of timeshares (for years) and have only had wonderful experiences up until this trip. There seems to be a huge breakdown in communication at the present time which affected us (and from what I understand, many others) in a huge way. My husband booked (from what we understood) a 2 bedroom villa at the Sheraton which we've stayed within in the past. The "villas" now include converted hotel rooms and are literally less than half the space from the "Morningside Villas" which we've previously stayed in. We booked this venue SPECIFICALLY for the size of the 2 bedroom villas. This was our first family vacation including our one year old grand daughter who is not a good sleeper.... we assured our son and daughter in law many times that there would be more than enough room for Jane to have her own space. Unfortunately there was not any space available for the crib and we all had very difficult and sleepless evenings and nights. My husband and son even departed here 2 days early because of not being able to sleep. My biggest disappointment once we saw the difficulty of accommodations was the lack of the support and validation from the staff here. While we were here I met several other families with similar scenarios who were equally disappointed.

I only hope that there will be much better clarification on the future re the new villas and that the staff can take on greater concern and responsibility.

Newly renovated rooms and suites are fantastic. Service is pretty good. Location on the Mountain is awesome. Reasonably priced every time I've visited. Highly recommended if you stay on the Mountain.

The hotel had amazing amenities, the room was spacious and clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

COVID review: this hotel is top notch especially during covid. From the way they cleaned the room and public areas, the ease of making reservations in gym and pool, but also enforcement of all guests and staff wearing a mask. As an example, when I was in the gym there was a guy that kept taking his mask off his nose and staff came in multiple times to ask him to wear it correctly so that they could stay open. Every time they were polite, even though this gentleman was difficult. End of the day, no matter how you feel on the mask situation, we all want gyms and pools to stay open and this resort was doing everything they could to do so.

I will be recommending this hotel to anyone going to the area.

Apart from the location, which is definitely great given the direct access to Christie/Gondola, I would say many things ruined the experience. Firstly upon arrival I was waiting to check in and the front desk clerk was on the phone, no problem. However a manager walked up and called for the next person, as I approached he told me to wait for the clerk and proceeded to help the gentleman behind me while I waited another minute for the clerk. That was highly unprofessional. Additionally, the beds were not comfortable considering the extreme firmness coupled with pillows that were so flimsy they were essentially blankets. To top it all off the quoted check-out time from the hotel was suddenly changed upon arrival and no extension was offered. I'd suggest considering one of the equally well located establishments instead.

Its location is the best. Close to downtown, 2 grocery stores, the gondola, and offers a peaceful view. The water features are soothing. Adirondack chairs places around them are whimsical and functional. This is our third stay in in villas and we love how spacious the condos are. The hotel is undergoing major renovations right now and anticipate the re opening to offer better amenities.

As soon as we walked into the building we were rudely addressed by the girl at the computer. No how are you, just instantly bombarded with ignorance. You can not walk in and get a room you must book the room on the internet first and even if you social distance the hostess literally attacked you about how you wear your mask, mine was just over the tip of my nose because I wear glasses and they'll fog if I don't leave a little bit of a gap but the lady was so rude that we booked another hotel next door at the Steamboat grand and once again we were proven right that everything happens for a reason the Steamboat grand hotel was fantastic and the staff were great.

We are so happy we chose Steamboat Springs for our summer vacation destination this year. We usually head to a beach destination but decided to try something different. We've tried so many activities and have so many more options. The Sunset Happy Hour last night was amazing!!

Power went out in the middle of the night and I had an early flight, so of course I was on the 8th floor and had to walk down 8 flights of stairs with luggage. Now that wasn't the bad part, that was when I was told I could not use the elevator but the staff did. Oh the bbq area was a mess and the 2 of the 4 grills didn't work. Nice rooms though.

The stay started off great! Front desk was awesome. Food was okay but very limited. My issue was when I picked my vehicle up from valet... the driver was acting very strange. Later when I opened the door for my wife I noticed a large scratch on the rear quarter panel. Someone at the resort hit my vehicle. Going through the process all they want to do is push it off on the insurance company. Trust me, not worry the stay after having to deal with insurance and paying a premium to stay at the hotel.

Amazing access located right on the square. August rates were dirt cheap compared to season and the summers are beautiful there. Nice and spacious room with excellent view. Loved the new surprise juiced water in the lobby each morning.

Fairly nice and helpful staff. No food room service. Kitchenette though. I come on vaca to order in and go down when I feel like it, so had I known a about room service I may have found another hotel. The restaurants serve pretty good food at a reasonable price. The food is local so it s healthier and fresher.

Ski in ski out with rentals on site is quite helpful. Not sure about 4 star due to the room service. No water: bottled water in room. Would have been a nice touch as skiing dehydrates you.

Internet goes down a lot. Yikes!!!!

Bathroom floor needs updating. Chipped/stained. Overall good experience so far. Will update after checkout. Patty the conceierge is excellent!!!

Horrible wifi. I feel bad judging a hotel by their Wi-Fi but this is such a basic essential in today's day and age and many people need to do some work when they are away on a trip. Internet was so bad that everything kept timing out...it's just not slow it's utterly bad. The convenience of the ski in and ski out is awesome but the inconvenience of having to look for a location with better internet to get basic things done was bad. Also if you are a bonvoy member none of your perks count, no free room upgrades and no free breakfast because this is a timeshare type of hotel.

Beautiful views, great location, and comfortably modern rooms. We will return! The staff is very friendly and helpful too. The shuttle ran every 30 minutes to downtown and we just called to request a pickup when we were ready to return. That was very convenient.

My wife and I stayed here the weekend before July 4th...and loved it! I would have given them 5 except there was construction going on at the hotel and that made for some minor inconveniences. The staff was outstanding, from the front desk to the rental shop to the servers at the outdoor bar, all were great. We are already discussing a winter visit and back again next summer.
