I left AW for a bit due to personal reasons... I have came back and plan on staying from here foward !! Jordan the owner as well , the rest of the crew are absolutely amazing to work for. I have been driving for 18 years and without a doubt there is no other company that treats you like AW does. Five Stars All Around!!!!
I love the atmosphere. They treat me much better than mega trucking company I started with. Do all they could to keep you rollin'. Worked with me knowing family member had health issues, and time when son was born. Nice new trucks w/amenities.
AW Transport is one of the best trucking companies you can work for. But there is a catch you ll need to have some experience to be considered for hiring. Newbies or drivers with blemishes in their record need not apply!
I like that you can always talk to the owner and get your issues resolved fast. Makes the job less stressful.
Best lease purchase program that you can find. Brand new trucks and full service warranty. After all truck payments and other charges I normally bring home 2100 to 2300 per week.
I have been so happy with the communications at AW. All other companies I worked I had to wait on hold, leave VM messages, wait for hrs, days to hear back. No matter what department I call here Dispatch, Safety, Accounting they either pick up right away and give me the answer on the spot or I get a call or text or email with the answer soon after. Early in the morning, late in the evening, on a weekend, on a holiday - you can always reach someone to help you at AW. This is very important to me because it reduces my stress levels a great deal, makes my job way easier.

If you re looking for a place to lease a truck and trailer come to AW Transport you won t regret it you get next day pay upon delivery by noon and asked for Danny to be your dispatcher it will be a life changing Trucking experience.
Worked here for years, never had any major issues. if you are out on the road for two weeks at a time you'll easily get to 250k a year. The company has good paying loads all year round, I'm always moving. When you need to get back home, they'll get you back home whenever you gotta be home.
It really is a family-owned company and they do make you feel like you are a part of the family! Great people to work with!
Coming from companies where I have been treated poorly, like I didn't matter, this company has made me feel like a valuable human being again. You can reach Dispatch, Safety, Accounting and the owner himself at any time you need them. Phone call, email, text message - no matter how you communicate with them, they get back to you ASAP. Another fact of great importance to me is that the owner Jordan is very understanding of your personal situation and always helps you financially when you need it. He has paid truck repairs worth over $20,000 for me and now I am paying him back little by little. I could have never continued doing this job or continued taking care of my family, if it wasn't for his generosity and compassion. If you have ever been treated poorly at other trucking companies, AW Transport is the one for you! You will feel heard and understood, you will feel taken care of.
Don't do it! Every driver I ran into while I was on the road chuckled a little when they saw who I was driving for then tried to warn me to run away fast because things Will only get worse (which they did)! I wish I'd listened sooner... So my warning to you is Don't Trust these FAKE reviews! If there was a 0 star option or better yet negative star then I'd put that because you will be in the hole & your bank acct will be negative working for this company!
This company has no line to where they park their vehicles or let you park. I emailed them and they pretty much blew me off. Not good ownership
I thoroughly enjoy running for AW. At least for now, it meets all of my needs as a driver (personally and professionally), provides an opportunity for flexibility, variety of work assignments, I am not treated like a number, and I have a voice directly to the owner of the company at any time.
Seems like a great company to work for. Post on craigslist almost everyday. Submitted my application about 6 weeks ago. Drug their feet with employment verification till I started staying on top of it. Told me everything looked great after that. Now I haven't heard from them in 2 weeks. Calls/text and voicemails to recruiter and owner.

I can t say how thankful I am for the entire AW team! Dispatch goes above and beyond to find the best paying loads out there. Accounting is always helpful with any questions and concerns I may have in regarding my settlement. The owner Jordan is always available and I can t thank him enough for everything he has done for me and my family. This is by far the best company I ve worked for over the last 20 years!
I like that AW is not a huge corporation and that you can actually talk to someone at any time of the day or night. There is no sitting around, dispatch keeps you moving and if you stay on the road for two weeks straight, you'd be able to cover all your expenses as an owner-operator AND make a meaningful amount of money to support your family. That said, drivers who are looking to stay home 2-3 days out of the week will probably make minimum wage. Not worth it. That's the nature of the long-haul trucking business. You have to keep moving to make enough money for your family to live comfortably. And AW definitely made that possible for me.
I've been in trucking 35 years aw transport are they car haulers are they van haulers so they only got one power unit for safer web. Well how they get by with that. Maybe that's why you should open your eyes and read what I saying I've been in trucking you look at your safer web your website says your car hauler are you a car hauler are you a van haulers,? You guys are out. Illinois. Safer website listed just having two drivers that you was a car hauler. So what you're saying is the government must lie
There is really no forced dispatch - you call the shots. You are the boss. AW works for you.

I had to leave due to health issues and not being able to be an OTR driver any longer.

I have been a part of AW Transport for 5 years now. Great place to work and evolve. Treats their employees extremely well and are very encouraging of personal growth. Employees are some of the best in their field and work in excellence who are always willing to help and push you towards success. I recommend for anyone, that wants to see a fully functional company, with consistent and dedicated business to expand and grow your professional career.
Couldn't be happier with AW. They pay you within 24 hrs of delivery and they always call before sending you the pay settlement and the money, to make sure you are on the same page. They promptly correct any issues. If I have a car payment or a mortgage payment coming, I would ask them to leave my truck payment for the next pay settlement, so I could get a bigger net check this time, and they would agree. Very understanding, always trying to work with you to make you happy. Once I got charged for a repair I didn't think was my responsibility, I explained why the repair should have been covered by the warranty, they disputed it with the truck repair company and got my money back. They saved me so much time and unnecessary stress!
Applied a week ago and still waiting for the response
Despite their size, AW runs and feels like the family operation they are. They keep in touch with drivers, and I always feel they are looking out for me. Pay is above industry average, as long as you stay on the road for two weeks straight. I'm in a new truck and trailer. I feel I have a personal relationship with my dispatcher, which is a very rare thing in the business.
Really enjoyed my time with AW, very responsive to driver requests, a great experience overall.

I got a 2015 KW on a 2 year lease to own, the truck runs great. They treat you as a person and not just a number, you always have access to the owner of the company. Jordan would never turn you away if you need help.
I grossed 246k last year on ELD, dispatchers are great, everyone in the company is there to help me when I need help and most importantly I never have to wait for loads.
AW is a great company to work for, I've been here only for a few months and already made more money than I did with the old company all of last year. I leased a new truck and that's helped a lot. My revenue stays in the 25k - 28k a month range, no breakdowns and no downtime.
Awesome company to work for. I have been here over 5years and for a moment haven't thought about leaving. Great place for people who want to succeed.
I worked at AW for years. I Loved it. They treated me very fair - even got a brand new truck. I never had a late load or a damaged load. I took care of them and they took care of me. I stayed out 2 months at a time but that's what I wanted to do, they always asked me to go home for a few days and rest but I wanted to make money so I stayed out. And I got rewarded with a brand new truck and great pay for doing a good job for them. And it was well worth it. THANKS Jordan!! The BEST!!

My husband has been working for AW for 2 years now.
Plenty of work- He always has a load right or soon after his breaks and he always uses all of his 11 or 14 hours.
Nice Truck- Well it probably won t make you feel at home, but the bed is adequate enough for 2 people and a nice size of space. The seats are comfy and everything runs pretty good.
On time pay- He gets paid after every delivery and the pay is never late.
AW Transport is by far up to my standards dispatch always gets me the best loads and gets me home when i need to get home everytime. Jordan the owner is very true to the game his word is bond and you can believe what he say he's going to get it done. I am here to stay 6 out of 5 stars
The Lease purchase sounded like a great idea, but It only took one week for me to see that this was a big mistake. I ran three loads in a week and received three pay checks , but the only problem was the first load paid 2100.00 I get 85 % of load and after all there deductions I was left with 370.00.
The second load paid 1600.00 and after they took there deductions I was left with 104.65
The last load which was my last paid 994.00 and after the deductions on this load I was left with 65.00. Now how in god s name can you make it off of this. I hustled like I always do and made chump change. Also before they deposited each check into my account they would call and ask me how much I needed out of each settlement, Who does this!! Give me what I made. I basically hustled for 500.00 for the week.
The trucks are Ryder rentals with no fridge or inverter.
This job was just not for me and I wish a driver would have taken the time out to advise me of the situation at AW-Transport.

I've been in the trucking industry for almost 10 years now, never had a better company. Everybody makes you feel welcome and important from the get go and they are always available to help with anything you need. Highly recommend for drivers and dispatchers!
