Great amenities, great service staff, location, etc. Only thing keeping it from a 5-star rating were multiple issues with the front desk staff -- including a "don't bother me now" attitude.

Filling out a Google survey because Google thinks I stayed here...but I was just a temp worker for banquet set up. This place has really nice employee accommodation. And there is an entire world of behind the scenes corridors that guests will never know exist.

perfect. However, I came in wearing street clothes and I might have well came in as a homeless guy with a sleeping bag over my shoulder. They refused to check me in, even though I had a reservation. I look like I had just gone to the club or something I was not in rags, however I did not have a business suit on. It took an hour of actual phone calls and also calling the very rude and argumentative lady at the desk to finally check me in. Got to my room it was classy and I slept in my $350 room. Woke up walked out of the elevator and the security guy is giving me a death glare even though it is evident I came from my room. I politely checked out and began to walk out and he is glaring at me and approaching like he is about to attack me. Note I never raised my voice or said anything rude upon check in. I have never had an experience like this, and never will again as I am never staying again.

The service and management is amazing and go above and beyond to make your stay great! Dinner and drinks was epic and right now all dinner entrees are only $22 regardless of the menu price. Can't beat it!

This hotel is the best one in the city and their amazing staff is the reason behind their success. I was very pleased by the hospitality they gave me. I'll always be thankful to them for giving such an incredible service because of which I had a good stay.

Would have rated higher but the 5pm staff ruined it. I was told about the shift change and staff interactions that had nothing to do with my question of airport transportation. Felt as the manager was giving excuses for being treated poorly from my initial call with Gary. On top of it they continue to wake me up asking about check out time. Other then that, the late night staff were helpful with questions. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Location seems to be wonderful. My first visit to Phoenix

First I would like to point out we are a very high scale real estate company bringing over 5 million in profits every year, we hold these events 4-5 times a year and always have an amazing turn out. We work solely with Marriott Brand and bring in tons of revenue and traffic to the brand. We are already planning 4 more events we want to hold at the same hotel. THEY KNEW THIS AND WE WERE STILL TREATED HORRIBLY.

Morgan let us know the Sheraton could not hold our entire party due to the fact there was a medical conference in the area and all the hotels were booked out. She stated that the Sheraton only had 100 rooms total available before they reached 100% capacity and that they were going to give them to us. Her solution was to have us book our overflow at a sister hotel called the Weston, walking distance from the Sheraton so still convenient for our guests. She also stated that Weston only had 100 rooms to there 100% capacity as well and again they were going to be given to us. They made it seem that both hotels were at 100% capacity including our rooms and that is why we had to split our rooms. They also stated before signing contract they couldn't give us our requested 40% attrition due to the fact they were the LAST rooms. Now just keep this in mind as I continue on the story of our experience. We sadly believed every word because Morgan was so amazing.

Fast forward 3 months and we are a month away from the event. We meet with them again for lunch to go over last minute details. During this lunch is when our experience goes very sour. In our line of business we have a lot of last minute bookings and ticket sales. At the time of the meeting we were only 20% to our room pick-up FOR JUST THE SHERATON, Weston had not even been touched. We get a preliminary bill from both hotels at 25k + each for our attrition for the rooms not yet booked.

From here we asked them to work with us to balance since we will be holding 4 more events with them, they refused. We asked them about the attrition, that if the rooms were booked to public that we would get a refund, they said no! This is considered double dipping, they will get the money from us as well as the public rooms booked! OUTRAGEOUS!
They said if we talked about attrition before signing the contract they would have said yes and would have honored it, well we showed them emails proving we asked for it and they still didn't honor it. 10 minutes later we were told that what they could do for us is if the the hotel reaches 100% Capacity we will get our refund of those rooms. This was a step forward until, Nicole our event manager, who we will never work with again, proceeds to tell us that not only is the hotel not even near capacity but they dont recall telling us anything about a medical conference. Neither hotel is even close to capacity and Sheraton proceeds to tell us they had enough room for our ENTIRE party, and we shouldn't of gone with a different hotel for our overage.

So we were tricked into booking two hotels due to 100% capacity, not given attrition requested because of 100% capacity and 3 months later Sheraton is not even close to 60% capacity and now we have to have BOTH hotels to book out to get any money back.

Not only did we provide all email correspondence and I sent multiple emails to the GM of Events, They kept refusing to do anything for us, to make it right since we were lied to the entire time, knowing we had no other choice then to keep our event with them. By the time we had our event, we had filled our complete order of rooms minus a few, had 500 attendees at our event, and had dinner and lunch and networking drinks at the hotel every day for 4 days bringing so much revenue and traffic to the hotel and the brand. We still ended up spending 25k with Sheraton for the event room, lunches for our VIP for two days and our Employee Room Bookings.

A place that stands out from the competition. I came to this establishment to a convention with over 1500 visitors. The staffing at the Sheraton was prepared! A process was agreed upon and systems were put into place to ensure the fastest possible check ins. The staff was excellent and even accommodated with upgrading me to a larger bed because of my height without me even having to ask. Highly recommended!

Room key for elevator has failed on every trip back to room requiring a lobby desk visit each time, which requires waiting in line. My understanding is the elevator pass was put in place to prevent homeless people from entering floors. Maybe Shareton should have worked to create homeless shelter nearby rather than this extra key entry solution.

Hotel roo.s are clean and modern.
Hallway smelled like a wet ashtray.
Parking is laborious and expensive.
Valet is $33 a night and is forced upon you as they to not have enough self parking spots.
Valet says the the are much better now. But has the distinction of once crashing my truck into a yellow parking pole and then trying to claim my truck came in with the dents and yellow paint scraped into the truck.
I wouldn't stay here. Because of the parking, if you can avoid it.

Love this spot. Close to everything, the rooms are huge, and the gym is big and nicely situated close to the pool action. The staff here is almost always super cool and friendly during check-ins!

Writing from the hotel room right now. Woke up this morning with the room freezing code. Called front desk at 7. The lady offered to send someone to the room to check. I refused because neither I nor my wife was properly dressed. Then she basically said she can t help us. During this whole exchange, there was not a single offer of apology. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and was told no one was available. Called back later and talk to the front desk manager, Zach. After I complained about the attitude of the previous lady, I was offered one sentence of apology, and then he went on to lecture me about why there is nothing they can do, and seemed to imply it was all my fault. As a guest, I understand equipments sometimes malfunction. If it can t be fixed immediately, at least be respectful and apologetic. This confrontational approach to dealing with customer complaint is completely uncalled for.

Clean and beautiful. Management was very attentive in an emergency situation. Thank you SGP staff. Also, I was there during a Rock n Roll Marathon day, and the desk had road closure maps pre printed upon check-in: very considerate. $20/day to self park, $30/day for valet. Garage a little tricky.

I enjoyed staying at The Sheraton Phoenix. I experienced no problems only that payment from my credit card was not processing at first. However the issue was resolved. The rooms are spacious clean and fancy, with spectacular views. Everyday the room was cleaned and toiletries repenished. Great amenities including comfortable bed, large television and large toilet and bath. It was a great stay.

The Sharaton Grand Phoenix has a nice modern asthetic, two bars with excellent bartenders, fine dining, and rooms that are very welcoming. The service-people were kind and courteous. The woman who checked me in helped me greatly by taking off a charge that I would've had to pay because of a mixup from my college, who booked everything for my travel to Phoenix.

Two complaints I have that keep my review from having 5 stars are a little nit-picky, but after a couple of days became a little annoying.

The two sets of elavators were finicky, in that you had to use your room key to use the elavators. This wouldn't necessarily be such a problem if using your room key worked every time you had to go from floor level to floor level. Most of the time I had to work in tandem with other guests using their room keys to eventually get to my floor level. In fact I went from the ground floor, all the way up to the top floor, then all the way back down to the ground floor because my key wouldn't work. This is a problem I hope the Sheraton addresses.

My other gripe is that WiFi isn't free. Yet, I've been to plenty smaller hotels that offer free, high speed internet. As entitled as it sounds, its something that I think would really make patrons and guests feel more appreciated, and certainly help those watching their mobile data.

Absolutely spectacular hotel. The Location is in the middle of the city with tons to do all over the place. Literally in front of a plaza. The lobby is massive with huge ceilings. The elevators offer added security with key card only access to the Room floors. The gym is probably the biggest I've seen in a hotel before. Tons of cardio machines , separated with views of the outdoor pool. This is connected with a weight room with machines and free weights. The pool is almost Olympic sized with great views of the city. Would recommend this 4 diamond hotel.

Jeff Youngblood has such a bad attitude and is having a little fit at the pool while I'm writing this. Kasey, who isn't wearing her name tag, is working at the pool and wanted to refuse my state I'd because it's the old version. That's when Jeff decided to give a lecture on the law. Very rude and I'm sure it's because I'm young. Heather who works at the pool bar should be there all the time.

As far as the room goes. It's all very cheap. The tv is very small and the bathroom is very low quality. After staying here for a week I would not stay again. Next time it will be the Hyatt

10/10 would stay again. Our conference was at the Sheraton Grand Phoenix, for few days, so there was ample opportunity to Dr a myriad of services. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Food was great at both the 1st floor restaurant and at The Overlook on the 4th floor (catered taco bar reception).

Over 20 minutes to check in. Tried to give us a hospitality suite with a sofa/convert a bed. Shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold, no power outlet in the bathroom and coffee maker didn't work. Don't recommend them at all. Not much better than a Motel 6. Oh they did offer to comp me $100 room service. I was at convention where all of our meals were included and they knew this. Hey let's throw them a bone we know we know they won't use. Thanks but no thanks. Here's your review......

This Hotel is simply beautiful!

This Hotel is simply beautiful!
Soft, lush beds.
Sparkly bright bathroom with sharp mirror and an amazing hot shower.
Courteous, helpful customer service.
I needed some more towels, and they came really quickly, with large warm towels.
The light fixtures were modern, new and bright.
In addition, this great hotel is in a very central, good location.
The front desk was really helpful and efficient.
I wanted to extend my stay and they asked me what room I was in, when I old them they said "Oh! That rooms air conditioning doesn't work so well" I didn't even notice.
The staff were super accommodating and gave me an upgraded room for the price I would have payed for that room.

I really enjoyed my stay!

I would definitely come back!!

Convenient location to downtown Phoenix but the only problem was, there just isn't that much to do in downtown Phoenix, unless you have business there. Nice hotel. Could have used a nicer lobby/bar area to hangout at night.

Excellent hotel, very clean rooms, everything in order, very comfortable bed, good air conditioning. There is iron, dryer, coffee maker, water, a mini refrigerator and closet to hang your clothes. Just one detail, I do not remember that we were specified that we were going to pay 25 dollars for each night of parking, of the rest, fair prices!
