Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Review

I stayed four nights at Sheraton Grand Phoenix for a conference at the Phoenix Convention Center. The hotel was fully booked due to convention. Generally friendly staff; room was clean and service was okay.

Beautiful hotel and meeting facility. Second floor had amazing renovations and felt very modern.

Our yearly banquet last night. Beautiful hotel, phenomenal staff & fantastic food for 300+!! The staff was so attentive we were able to relax because we knew things would get done. Our event went without even a hint of problems!! A HUGE thank you to Susan, Pamela, Chef John and all the staff!!

Things were a bit cramped at times but seeing as how it was a convention going on it made sense. Most serivce was very good, but some was a bit lackluster.

The staff was amazing, the valets so helpful and cute, the room tranquil and serene, the bed/pillows/comforter we're heavenly!

I had a great experience. Got a complimentary upgrade to a suite. Can't complain.

I only parked here but the inside of the hotel and the parking garage was wonderful.

Decent price for location. Parking cost as expected. Very nice rooms and facility. Definitely will stay when I return. Plenty of locations to eat.

Even though under construction this was my first time to Phoenix and location was easy to get to my eventual destination the Phoenix Convention Center. Beautiful new rooms well appointed, service was attentive. Front desk personnel seemed new or lacking in that little extra of trying to figure things out. Once the kinks are worked out I think this would be a destination to stay at once again.

Went down for the Bruno Mars concert and stayed at the Sheraton Grand Phoenix. It was clean, beautiful, and the staff was professional. The location is 4 blocks from the arena. We walked to and from the concert and avoided the traffic. There are many places to go within walking distance. We will return soon.

I m rating this not from a customer point of veiw but a visiting worker . I never stayed here the people who I seeing when Go there from time to time to work seem to like it! Logistics nightmare for loading in and out for event set up. (Big Trucks)

Wonderful rooms and great service. Second time staying here and they are all very nice and accommodating. Love the location and consitent cleanliness.

Great venue for conferences, awesome bartending at either bar. Breakfast buffet is good, but a bit overpriced.

Overall wonderful experience. One night turned into a 4 night stay. Front desk staff was wonderful as were the room service attendants. Only complaint is the lack of outlets in the room. A nice place like this really should have sone type of bedside plug

Great central location. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Beautiful rooms that are very clean. Friendly and professional staff. I only stayed two days so I didn't see much of the property. I would come back again though. Just for the bed. Lol

Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to staying again some time. very nice and she kept asking us if there was anything we needed.

Nice hotel with beautiful lobby. Asu right next door so can be pretty lonely when everything closes for breaks. Rooms are nice but not the most up to date. There's no power on the nightstand or alarm clock in my room which is standard nowadays. Very clean with nice amenities and a shopping centre next door although it is still under construction.

Beautiful hotel with great event spaces and shops and restaurants close by. Wish that the pool side bar was open later!

Was a guest here for a wedding recently. Room was quite clean and the staff was very accomodating.

Staff was great at any accommodation. Parking was easy even when self was full, they allowed us to valet at no extra charge. Rooms were clean, smelled nice, and everything is close to downtown, as it is in downtown.

We attended an event in the bar area that we had reserved for our group. The wait staff and bar staff were very friendly and accommodating. There could've been more servers since we had a larger group but overall very nice location

This has just become my new favorite hotel downtown. We were staying downtown for a convention and made the most of it. The rooms were clean, crisp and the bed was super comfortable. The staff was very attentive to our needs. They have done a lot downtown to expand the night life, so there were several options of different things to do. Definitely will be staying and the Sheraton Grand again.

If you love there uppity you will love this place. Oh Muffy! The Rolls, no The Rolls.

Saboten con was being held here. They made sure we were safe and were able to showcase all the hard work put into costumes.

Among other things, the hotel that was the best in business use. Good service, good service, quality of the restaurant and everything else. I stayed for about a week, but I felt no inconvenience at all.

The food in their restaurants is phenomenal. Wonderfully quick and friendly service as well. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Interesting hotel, can access rooms via escalator or elevators.

The meeting space here is very well laid out and suits our needs well.

The stay at Sheraton was good. The room and bathroom was clean and the staff was courteous.

Rooms are spacious and nice! Beds are comfy and not too firm. All the hotel staff are very friendly and willing to help with anything. The location is good, but isn't great for food options. Phoenix downtown in general isn't great for casual food options beyond 10pm. But we managed with food delivery services. I'd definitely come again!

Friendly, helpful, efficient staff. Close to lots of places. Especially if you are moving an ASU student into Taylor Place.

My SO had a marathon near the Sheraton Grand Phoenix, so we decided to spend a tiny bit extra and just stay here. The place is truly beautiful, with exceptional staff to match. The view from our room on the 24th floor had an incredible view, which is something we didn't even know we'd appreciate as we weren't expecting it. The checkout of Noon is generous when most places need you out by 11. We loved our stay and will definitely return the next time we're in Phoenix!

I stay at 5 star resorts nationwide and this is my favorite place. Every employee and every detail is perfection. It s nature yet next to shopping. The spa is a top rated Forbes spa. I was dehydrated today and they cared for me in the utmost possible manner and went over any expectations. The food, the room, the smell, the bed, the incredible cushions in lounge chairs, the natural habitat and sounds of nature - it s just the best deal I ve experienced from LA to NY and to the keys. It is underpriced (thankfully) and the staff is just the best in the planet. I can t imagine ever looking anywhere else when I return.

Rooms and Staff were fine. Ate dinner and breakfast at their restaurant, The District, overdone steak and overpriced. $30 for oatmeal and side of berries delivered to my room.

So overall my stay was great except...I don't think they clean the bathrooms at this hotel (see picture). I mentioned this to a concierge at the hotel and he assured me it would be cleaned...it wasn't.

No complaints other than the parking fee. fantastic stay during a major renovation....

The location in relation to the convention center made this a convenient stay. The lobby area is very nice. Unfortunately there were makeup marks on the bed spread and the iron was full of gunk. The hotel service to replace these items was friendly and quick. The bed sheets seem old . Overall, I would rate the value low as I expect more for the price point.

I attended the anime convention here. The space provided for the convention was very roomy and upscale. It had good traffic flow and made the event very enjoyable.
