Sheraton Colonial Boston North Hotel & Conference Center Review

I was there for a work function. The place was ok. The staff was somewhat rude, not very helpful.

Have stayed here numerous times. The hallways and rooms are a bit dated, but they are always clean, the staff is always great and the location is conveniently located off I-95. They have a well stocked bar, decent food and plenty of places to eat near by. If your looking for a snack they have a nice selection in the lobby. Parking is free.

Nice hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and well decorated although showing some signs of wear.

Restaurant /bar is not that good.

Nice place to stay north of Boston while not having to pay Boston rates. I would stay here again.

Visited for a conference. Facilities were nice, and very nearby an excellent outdoor mall. Fast Internet.

I was only a few days and it was spectacular. It has a beautiful view and the rooms are very comfortable.

I made a last minute stop here due to being snowed off the roads. The staff was super helpful, friendly, and kind. The rooms were clean and modern. Overall a great stay!

Welcoming staff but I was disappointed with my room. Functional but that's about it.

Stayed there twice. Both times, they assumed I was with the Chinese tour bus (I'm Asian American)

Lobby and grounds are nice. Room was comfortable but not at the level which my room rate was priced ($296). Expected much better for the rate.

The beds were very comfy and the service was great but the soap and shampoo attached to the wall in the bathroom was awful. The soap wouldn't even suds up in my hand it just slipped off like slime.

This hotel was fine, but not great. Basic accommodations. The strangest part is that they partner with Boston Sports Club for gym access. When I checked in, the front desk said it was "next door" but it's actually across a small bridge and across the street, a several minute walk from the lobby. Given the size of the hotel, it would be nicer to have a gym in-house, especially if you're time-constrained.

The room was clean but smaller than I expected for the price

DO NOT STAY HERE! Over priced and staff is extremely unprofessional! The front desk made us miss our shuttle to the event and were extremely unprofessional. After the experience I had i'll never stay at a Sheraton again.

Nice hotel, but room smelled like smoke. They tried to spray it to cover it up, but didn't work very well.

Nice Sheridan hotel. Great location along Route 1 and Route 60 for quick access to Logan Airport without the high price of a Boston hotel.

The room looked very clean, but I slept very uncomfortable, because the sheets didn't feel clean, the skin was itchy, I don't know if there would be bed bugs, I left the bath in the morning, because I was afraid to take the dirty things home, very Uncomfortable, as long as the companion lying on the bed feels that there are bugs on the body, room number 604

Bathrooms were well maintained and had more than enough toiletries supplies for us. Would highly recommend

Liked this place. Comfortable atmosphere. 5 mins walking distance to shops bars and restaurants.

Just that the room i had was a lil smaller plus the bathroom was Handicap accessible. I believe i should have been told before hand at check in but oh well. Overall the hotel isnt bad

The very nice hotel. The staff has everything. The lady in the cafeteria a charm. The drivers that take you to the mall nice. The breakfast staff a little edged.

Dog friendly and wonderful! Staff is accommodating. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a hotel in the area.

Attended a company meeting. Room was good, but screens hard to see, too low.

We be over this hotel (by mistake) via British Airways Holidays, however even down to its location the hotel is actually a very good base for visitors to the city.

The hotel offer a shuttle which will take you to the local train station. Alternatively it's a 30 minute drive to the city.

Not only that but you have got lots of facilities close by... there is market street with shops, a supermarket and lots of nice food places. You also have use of the pool and gym across the road.

The downsides, food in the restaurant isn't so good and quite expensive. Get yourself to market street for a better meal. Drinks are reasonably priced and the staff in the bar are lovely.

Rooms feel dated but for the money you can't really argue. Rooms are equipped with tv, shower and a coffee machine. We couldn't get the air con to work properly and despite asking reception twice, we couldn't get use of the safe.

Really good choice for a stay in Boston

We had an excellent meal for our conference. Staff were very accommodating and cheerful.

The service was very fast and friendly. We attended the mother's day brunch and our party was seated as soon as we checked in. The food setup was amazing, a ton of food. Bagels, omelets, French toast, waffles, roast beef, chicken, salmon, pastry, breads and soup. Everything was delicious I would definitely recommend to friends and family. We will be back.

I was there for a wedding. The bar has very effective alcohol and the breakfast buffet is unlimited. I don't remember a whole lot other than that.

We'd booked a room for a weekend...well....where should I start??
We walked in the 1st thing we saw was the lobby & the walkways to the rooms reminded us was a nursing home..
The 1st room we got smelled horrible.....we went ,complained than we got an other room
...was better but not much. Way out of date....so if you wanna fast forward your life and get a feel of a nursing home..go ahead and book it !!!

Hotel was nice as always and the staff was very nice

Doors were splitting, hair in the shower, no hair dryer in the room ( they did bring us a new one though). Temperature control did not work at all. Also found leftover food in the room from previous guests! Never staying here again, probably never stay at any Sheraton hotel.

It should be as expensive as it is. The rooms are horribly dated, the wallpaper and tubs are old and gross. I walked in and was highly disappointed with this place. The pictures are quite deceiving.

Great breakfast but I don't think the room was worth that much. Bathrooms way to small.

The Four Points was incredible. The staff was very nice and accommodating and everything was very clean.

It's your classic two bed one bathroom closet with a small safe room with a nice tv and desk. My only real complaint is that with most hotels they have the pool and hotel as one building but the pool is across the street and a little ways up at the BSC which isnt that far to be honest, havent tried the food or anything yet but staff are nice.

5 star staff and service but 2 star rooms. Wait for renovations to be done and this facility will be worth every $$ you spend

Beautiful classy venue, extremely courteous staff. Director of Catering Tamara seems to be very passionate about her work and helps your ideas take shape while planning an event.

The room was a decent size. The location was very nice. The beds were kind of small on the other hand.

Staff were friendly but didn't seem to understand how they were supposed to give out the gift bags to wedding guests. The rooms themselves were clean and adequate with nice new and large lcd TV s. Bathrooms are on the small side and feel cramped. They have a decent bar and restaurant that is accommodating and open late.

I had a problem with my air conditioner. I called the front desk and maintenance came over and checked it out. It turns out they took it apart and oreplced the whole thing in a matter of 20 minutes. Soon my room was cooler and was much happier. Thanks.

Walls are a little thin. Bit shabby wallpaper. But I liked it!

Rooms were slightly outdated but customer service made up for it. If it wasn't for Clay I would have rated less but he made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to make our stay one to remember. I'll definitely be staying here again.

Great Staff and the room was great! My issue lies with the room location. I was located in a room with a view or two dumpsters and piles and piles of trash out back. I've attached some photos for reference. I am not sure if this is a normal thing for the Four Points or what but it was terrible to look at.

Dropped off friends who were staying there. Bathrooms are clean.

Hotel service is good, breakfast is good, there is a small mall behind the hotel, you can stroll

It's right of the highway, which is very convenient. The staff were all very friendly and polite, from the people working the front desk to the cleaning staff, everyone treated us a valued customers. The room was immaculately clean, well stocked and even had a pleasant smell. Our tv was large, not sure of the exact inch, but large and I was able to hook my roku up to it. With a little trick on the laptop to clone the mac address I got out to work.

My family and I were very pleased with our stay and would be happy to stay again.

This hotel have many services such a shuttle (free in a radius + tip if you want), restaurant (not so expensive) free teas/chocolate making it different from the rest.
Is not so far from Boston and has a big Shopping Center near (you can go walking or in the shuttle).

Stay was good, the rooms could use better window shades.

Attended a work event. Overall the colonial room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly.

I think the reception lost my favorite glasses! I will call them to find it, if they really lost it I will ask a compensation.

Very clean and modern. Our premium room was surprisingly a great value. The staff is great and very accommodating, we even received a complimentary bottle of champagne.. We would definitely stay again.

It's a business style hotel. Lots of conference rooms.

Room was not cool enough, very small but clean at least. Restuarant is nice and food was good but pricey as is expected in a hotel and breakfast was good too but pricey but convenient and tastey. Would stay again as location for my purpose was good.

The pool is not Advertised it is down the block , it's in Boston Sports Club. NOT CONNECTED TO THE HOTEL!!! Hotel only gets 4 stars is because the people who work there we very nice. Hanna at the front desk was very friendly. I wish I knew her name. The waitress at breakfast needs her own comedy hour. She was so funny and very friendly

Nice staff, nice lobby, rooms are standard hotel rooms. Shopping in the area is great, many shops within walking distance. I would stay here again.

I was in the Wakefield room and it was nice in there. Very soft carpeting and sturdy architechture.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The rate was reasonable, especially compared to hotels closer to the convention center. There was free WiFi, which is always nice.

I found it interesting, however, that such a nice room did not have so much as a mini-fridge. It would have been nice to be able to put a bottle of milk in the fridge. Also there was no free breakfast, which was surprising; almost every place I've ever stayed has at least oatmeal packets and muffins. But there is a Dunkin Donuts just a couple blocks away.

Altogether I thought the room was very nice for the rate.

The whole experience was wonderful. Well kept, clean rooms, friendly staff and great area for shopping and eating only half a mile away. Not to mention the complimentary access to the gym/pool with a room card.
