Sheraton Colonial Boston North Hotel & Conference Center Review

Had a decent experience while staying here for a conference recently. Staff were very friendly. Room was clean and well maintained. I was excited that the room had a large screen tv. Most places have Tv s way smaller then the one that you would have at home. Other reviewers are correct that there are no outlets near the nightstands with open spaces so you do have to charge your phone/laptop in elsewhere. Also, I too was surprised that there was no fridge or microwave. As someone In the healthcare field, I know firsthand that people need fridges to house their medications etc. There is a sheet at the desk in the room that does explain that the pool, sauna, and Gym, are 2 minutes up the street at the Boston Sports club. They are contracted with them and all guests have access with their room key. However, as a friend pointed out, if you have to go outside and it s cold in New England, it s less likely that you will be motivated to go. Overall it was a decent experience.

Excellent location. Desk staff very friendly and accomodated our early check in. Decent breakfast buffet. Lots of areas in lounge and lobby to sit and hang out. Good experience.

Good place for a quick drink or a late dinner. Friendly staff. Very convenient to the Lynnfield Market place. It can be a little loud in the lounge. The seating is very comfortable.

Great service front desk representative was very helpful and friendly. The location is about 25 minutes from Boston MA.

Very nice. Wonderful view. Restaurant waiter not the best when we had dinner. Got our meal and never saw him again. Did not come back and offer me another beer. Had to get bartender to get our ticket and cash is out.

The mall is walking distance and they have plenty of spots to grab a bite or do some shopping. Also not a bad drive to the city to catch a game. Staff has been great, rooms are clean but a bit dated. The hotel bar is steep ($12 for a whiskey) but I don't know of any hotel bars that have decent pricing.

We stayed here overnight during a trip to Boston, much cheaper than staying IN Boston. Don't know much about the location or service, as we didn't need much. I will say the room was...okay, at best. There was clesr water damage on the ceiling/wall near the window and AC (could be from condensation, maybe?), they gave us ONE washcloth for 3 people, and there was NO shower gel so we needed to use the facial soap to wash in yhe morning. But the room was reasonably clean and the beds were comfortable for a one night stay. But, I probably wouldn't stay here again if given the choice.

Ok stay at hotel. Hotel could use an update. Staff is nice and good location with a mall nearby. Breakfast buffet wasn't great as they were slow to replenish thr dishes.

Here for Covid-19 isolation and the people here are very caring and hospitable. Lovely people true humanitarians.

When I was here, I witnessed unpleasant features in the hotel room. For instance, I saw a noticeable stain, which might have been urine, on the floor. In addition to that, I witnessed mold in the bathroom.

Booking was an absolute hassle. I never got a confirmation email, and they had absolutely no idea about the wedding block I was trying to book under. But once I got there, they were mostly great. Though they didn't offer us the voucher for not getting housekeeping during our stay.

This is beautiful hotel! It looks newly renovated and they welcome dogs!! Super friendly staff and made me feel welcomed! They even gave me a bag of treats for my puppy!!!! The only negative I would say was that the pillows had a weird smell, it smelled like wet clothes. I asked the receptionist for new pillows on my way out for dinner and came back to find new pillows on the bed!! I will definitely be staying here again! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Bathroom is a bit small and the shampoo provided is pretty bad quality. The closet door is also really hard to open. Everything else is fine I suppose.

This is our second stay here for PAX East. It's a little out of the way from the city, but the complimentary shuttle takes you to Wakefield Station where you can catch the Commuter Rail into North Station and get anywhere from there. Staff have always been friendly, and it has been a great experience and value for my fiance and I. Highly recommended if you don't want to pay all out doors in the city, yet stay at a comfortable place!

This place was wonderful!! The bed's are heavenly. I did not want to get out of it. Very clean, great service. Continental breakfast. Very beautiful and quiet place. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. 10 star's

The Four Points by Sheraton Wakefield Boston Hotel offers a comfortable stay with ample parking, restaurant and a small shop. The rooms are updated, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are small but they work well and the work area is acceptable. To this hotel if it lacks plugs to connect the electronic devices; They just do not have enough. I think the most convenient thing about the Hotel is that it is located next to a shopping center that has several interesting shops as well as delicious restaurants. One of the striking restaurants is the hamburger site called Wahlburgers. That restaurant is part of the empire of the singer and now actor Mark Wahlberg. The burgers are delicious. There is also a pretty good restaurant that offers sushi. The hotel is recommended.

The difference between a suite and a regular room is a chair. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Maybe it will be better after the upgrade.

The only good part is the lobby. In my room the Aircondition was very loud and I could not sleep unless I shut off completely. There is no frig and microwave . The window curtain can not move and cover the window. Very disappointed.

The Buffet restaurant has a good service attitude and the lady s smile is unforgettable.
Simple and clean, and all kinds of equipment are available, there are some, but they are basic models. Not big, not gorgeous, well managed, typical American restaurant.
Wi-Fi is in good condition and does not require a password. Hot water pressure is strong. The mattress is comfortable.

This place is super good. I have stayed at many hotels. However, this hotel has given me a refreshing feeling. From the exterior design of the building to the interior decoration is very end. There are also many parking spaces. The service attitude is also very good. The favorite is near a lake where you can enjoy the view.

We had a TERRIBLE ride there, gps was working awful bringing us all over the place, and kept making us get lost. So we finally get to the beautiful hotel but they tell us their pool is under construction for a few days! The only reason we were staying here was to get a night away after this horrible year we have been having and to bring my 2 year old swimming. So at this point we were very upset. I asked for a refund and Olivia the supervisor said "of course I understand" being very nice, but since I booked through Expedia, she couldn't do it her self. So she told us she could get us a shuttle to take us to the holiday inns pool down the st, there and back whenever we wanted. And that she would get us free dinner and breakfast. She herself honestly saved our weekend and made our experience amazing. All food was 5 star, delicious!! Every staff member was extremely friendly. Staff was overall amazing, especially Olivia. Every time I saw her through my stay, even just passing by her.. she would talk to me and just be the sweetest. Every time I saw her, she was helping somebody in someway. Awesome staff/clean nice hotel/delicious food, I will definitely be coming back. And will recommend to everyone! Thank you so much for our great stay Olivia and all the other staff!!

Not sure how this hotel received ANY positive reviews. Descent lobby area but the rooms are dingy, stink and old. Gives you a dirty rundown motel feel. Just bad! Don t recommend at all.

Really surprised me. For the price I expected way lower quality, but the hotel is really nice, and the staff is exceptional. I travel a lot for business, and these folks were some of the nicest I have encountered anywhere. I would highly recommend it, and I'll stay there again when I'm in the area.

Attending a professional event, we used one of their conference rooms. The room was very well set up for our needs, they also provided us with ice water to drink which was refreshed several times throughout each day

The staff was absolutely some of the nicest people I d ever met. Although when we stayed the pool and stuff was not opened. The second time I stayed at the hotel they provided me a bottle of champagne and a nice note . It s little things like that. The rooms were super clean .

The lobby is beautiful and inviting. They are always friendly. I have attended many events and professional meetings. The food had always been very good and the staff 8s top rate.

Nice hotel although my room had one of the smallest bathrooms of any hotel I have stayed in. Tough location for traveling north or east in the morning but very convenient to market street area.

Our tour bus had a buffet dinner there with other tour groups. Buffet was very good and entertainment DJ was excellent.

As a typical wedding guest the wedding I attended would have seemed amazing, and like they did a great job. But having been a bride here in the past, and a bridesmaid this past weekend, I can tell you that if you have your wedding here, you will basically be alone. The wedding coordinator turnover is ridiculous. When I booked my wedding we booked with 1 and she left, the next one was fired a week after my wedding. The next one my friend booked through less than a year later, went MIA (was fired?) 2 days before the wedding with zero notice. The day of the wedding communication between bridal and groom parties were disastrous. I used to recommended them due to the affordability and thinking that my experience was a fluke. Well, that opinion has changed and caution anyone considering then for their wedding.

The hotel was nice but the staff was not very helpful when it came directions, even to its own pool. It was also strange when room service came in on us and made us rush out even though it was before our scheduled check out time.

I love this hotel. I've stayed here on 5 or 6 occasions. The last time I was here the staff recognized me, and remembered my name. That evening I ordered room service and when the food came there was a note on the tray thanking me for choosing their hotel and letting me know that this meal was on them. I was impressed and if you are a frequent traveler in the wakefield area I would suggest this hotel. I know I'll be back when I'm down that way.

I do not recommend this hotel at all. Let me start bu saying the hallway and room smelled like pee, but that wasn t even our biggest issue. We stayed here at the beginning of August, temperature highs in the 90s with 90%+ humidity, so freaking hot. We get to our room and turn the AC down then went down to the hotel bar for about an hour and a half. We came back up and the room was still very hot. We call down to the front and they said a man named Drew up. He messes with the AC for a minute then tells us I am going to see if we can fix the AC, if not we have other rooms available so we will switch you guys. I ll call you in a minute. After roughly 30minutes we call the front desk and Drew tells us that the engineering people have gone home for the night and all rooms are sold out. At this time it s about midnight so we don t have any choice but to stay in the hot hotel room. We ask if they have any fans at least to keep the air circulating and Drew tells us he will check then call us. 30minutes later we call them and he tells us theres no fans. Their customer service is the people saying they will let you know and then never letting you know, their hotel smells bad, and honestly its not worth the $150+ a night. Take your money else where.

The inside of the hotel was beautiful. I did not stay at the hotel, I was just there to attend an event. The staff was very pleasant and there was very little to complain about. Everything was very clean and tidy as well. Would absolutely recommend it.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. We chose it specifically for its location near Salem, Wakefield, and a short drive into downtown Boston.

Great stay here. The breakfast staff is hilarious. Staying in from out of town and they make it a grrat stay.

I spent two nights here and the experience was very unlike Sheraton that I have come to expect. First off with two adults they didn't have any queen beds available and we had to cram in a full size space. The online booking guaranteed a queen minimum so there's that, rooms are small but clean and chic the bedding was wonderful, we slept really well. House keeping was most disappointing our room wasn't cleaned all day and when we got back later that day the staff seemed clueless on why it wasn't done. They did an impeccable job afterwards but the experience was a first in this hotel class. Final thoughts, for a similar price point you will find better accommodation else where with a gym and pool included and better service overall.

The Four Points by Sheraton Hotel is modern and well-decorated in an old-fashioned atmosphere in the East. At breakfast, the boiled egg is tasted like sour, and it is said that it puts a lot of vinegar to boil quickly. It is long in the side. important!! Information.
