djibouti palace kempinski Review

It was a memorable and hospitable 2 weeks experience for me at Kempinski Hotel Djibouti. I had the opportunity to try out new cuisine I have never tried before.

This was 2 years ago when I was in Dejbuty the hotel is the best in Dejbuty 5 star hotel with a fabules view of the Bab elmandeb streat that joins the Red sea and the the Arab sea

Its amaging to find hotel like campeski in d jibouti. Its real 7 star

Rather dated in need of modernisation. Food and drink expensive

this place is a rip off, $10 for a beer, $23 for cheap whiskey. anyone that pays that is stupid

The bad thing is that there is nothing better, everything is expensive compared to Europe and above all it smells bad even inside the hotel.
How positive is that the rooms are large and comfortable although the cleaning could be improved.
Breakfast has been losing quality but it is still acceptable.

Ip blocked by the reception because i'm just using the swimming pool and not a room... No care, I reboot it haha. Try again.

This hotel is less then 1 star all the staffs are not happy to work. The biggest problem is the price this is crasy. Next time if I come back I'll go to other hotel save your money.

Beautiful pool available to non-guests for 4000 DJF. Expensive drinks. Sunscreen costs 8600 DJF in the spa.

The staff are fantastic, in special fikri, nice Guy and nice friend.

Getting a reservation by email takes too long. Two days for you to get a reply!!

Worst stay ever! Night manager is very rude and unprofessional. people will wake you up early in the morning just to check what you have consumed from the minibar but will refuse to refile it. Night Security humiliated me every time I tried to enter the hotel and asked me to go trough the medal detector and refused to let me go up to my room unless I get cleared from the reception. I didn't get housekeeping service for two days either. It was a nightmare.

Not nice staff it seems to disturb once at the pool it remains to fix you.
No opportunity to access the gym unless you register a month at 75000dj!

It's a beautiful setting and decoration inside, with cheerful helpful staff. A change from this air conditioned environment is easy enough with local taxis into town.

Sadly, this is the best hotel in all of Djibouti. Rooms are decent and so is the spa and pool area. However don't expect much from the food and be prepared for major communication issues with the staff (try speaking French). Also you might get eaten alive by mosquitoes so bring repellent!

This hotel is really brilliant and very luxurious. Enjoyed my stay few years ago.

Hotel looks very nice. If your primary language is english there can be a very complicatied language barrier. I lived in one of the apartments and its very pricey but also exquisite. You pay for a 5 star service but you sure dont get it. I have had lizards and gnats in my room often and I dont leave things out. Sometimes I have to call receptionist 2 or 3 times for them to come fix a problem or bring something. The bed is very comfortable. Majority of the time the cleaning room service does an excellent job, but I have had snacks, make up, and clothing stolen from my room. I had my make up opened and put back in its case upside down. Food is expensive and is not that great. Its a very nice hotel, nice decor,atsmophere, and view to be in Djibouti but its service is just not 5 star.

Used about 10 years ago.
At that time, I was able to spend it slowly. We are also happy to have a good time at the casino. If there is another opportunity, thank you.

Very good facilities compared to other hotel options in the place. Only flipside is the high prices.

Very nice hotel and the staff could not be more helpful. Thank you to the whole team at the Kempinski in Djibouti. I was very impressed at checkout when the manager asked me very carefully how the hotel could have improved my stay. He seemed to genuinely value my comments about better coffee in the room.

Fantastic amenities and service. Prices are high for the area, however it's pretty much one of the best kept grounds in the country.

Great hotel, even excessive display. Impeccable service and fantastic restaurant with local and international specialties.

It's been a while, but In still have the Djibouti Palace in good memory! I stayed there for a couple of days during my trip to Djibouti! The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was as well big and good equipped! I slept very good in this Hotel, the bed was very comfortable! The breakfast was outstanding and all other meals in the Restaurants were delicious! I stayed a couple of times at the smaller pool, it has a roof that provides shade during the day! All in all of was a good stay in this Hotel ! In case of coming back to Djibouti the Palace will be my 1st choice!

Like home ! This is the first time that I have visited the Tantazioni restaurant, but how can I say more in front of a nice word other than a big thank you to the team working with more love and warm welcome. You have perfectly understood the meaning of customer satisfaction which I consider top ... and I would like to thank the staffs of course impossible to forget to mark how much I appreciated the service and the surprise obviously that the team offered me Tantazioni (john and keyseh) as well as the best of Ayanle !!!
Thank you to all of you for an anniversary spent with you that will remain anchored in memory.
