This place has the worst service. Staffs are not well trained specially the front desk. The lady on the front desk, i forgot her name but she is the one with shaved side hair, was aweful. She's not even the manager but she will interupt my conversation with her co-worker. She cannot even help me. I booked for 2 queen beds but when i got there, its not avail. I tried to be patient but still not get any good solution from them. They even offered a a super small rollout bed which looks like a ward hospital bed which was not even set up. Went back to the lobby, We have been circling around and i was waiting if she'll get her manager as she is so bad in handling this but didnt think of it. As she thought she is doing good service. They should have gotten their manager at the very first place to handle this. After long talk and having my husband to step in to conversation, Manager didnt even show up to talk to us. Good thing they were able to get us an extra room. Where do they expect the other people to sleep? On the floor? Being in service business, i can say they have the worst employees or training for service ever. If not for it being in the downtown, it wont even get a star. If i were you guys, ill consider going with other nearby hotels.

I admit it has been two decades since I last stayed at the Sheraton (how time flies post University). However, knowing the age of the hotel located in the heart of downtown . Toronto I choose the Sheraton for convenience and location over modern amenities. I admit, I was incredibly surprised when I walked out to my hotel room.

The room was modern and bright with an amazing view of iconic Toronto City Hall and Nathan Phillips Square. From my room I could easily see the festivities and finish line for the Toronto Waterfront Marathon and the half-Marathon, and the reason I was in town. The room itself was well equipped with a large 46 or larger flatscreen TV, multiple USB power plugs at the bed and the desk, and a ensuite that made me jealous. The bathroom itself was ultra modern with a bathtub size walk in shower, modern two headed shower fixtures, a quality hair dryer, and spacious.

Came here for a conference. Great staff and customer service. Needs better signage for conference rooms and location as its a big place. This would be an area for client relations or corporate services should work on.

Perfect location in the heart of the downtown Toronto. Exceptional service, friendly stuff, lovely onsite garden with waterfalls and rocks. Lot of eatery choices to satisfy very demanding and spoiled food lovers.

Nice Hotel in downtown Tortonto area. Close to City Hall, parliament buildings and shopping at Eaton center. Could walk underground if in bad weather. Easy path to subways and go train.

I helped out with an event here and had a great time. The venue space was big and the hotel has a path going to a variety of shops. We checked them all out when we left. Overall, seems like a place I might enjoy staying at at the very least a place to hold a large event.

We have requested our car for almost 2 hours using their app. We missed our breakfast appointment and our 4y/o and 2.5 y/o hungry waiting. Same issue happened yesterday and no one apologized or cared to explain. Last time. Never again this hotel.

AMAZING!! I brought my daughter in law here for her 30th birthday to take in the Toronto city pass events, and the Sheraton centre made our stay so much more of an event then I could ever have asked or expected. George was above and beyond helping us with our luggage and our vehicle. His kindness and humour started our trip off amazingly. Then Marc B. checked us in, very helpful informative kind and went above and beyond as well, by surprising my girl with a birthday cake slice and fruit delivered to our room. Absolutely amazing wonderful people!
The room is beautiful, our view of the TORONTO sign and city hall is gorgeous!
I truly can't express how kind the staff are here, how nice the atmosphere is, and we're only day 1 into our trip. Thank you so much!!! Tina

Where do I begin? The last time I was at the hotel was in September 2014 for a real estate conference, and I had hoped that things would have gotten better on this trip, also for a real estate event (March 2016), but I was disappointed.

While the look of the property has improved with more rooms renovated, the service and quality has stayed the same or gotten worse. Some examples:
- Employees never seem to smile or really care that you're around. I don't expect to be waited on hand-and-foot, but a simple smile and hello would be nice from time to time.
- One of the employees taking payment for drink tickets at one of the conference events appeared to be asleep, so I bought my tickets from the next employee over.
- A bartender in the hotel bar/restaurant: again, no smile, no hello. I asked if he could put a hockey game on the TV, all he said was "No." Barely acknowledged my presence sitting just in front of him at the bar.
- Coffee break on the Wednesday was woefully under-supplied - the coffee ran out very quickly and many conference delegates went without. How hard is it to provide enough coffee when you know how many attendees are going to be there?
- Many delegates I talked to that arrived Tuesday had to wait well into the late afternoon or evening for their rooms to be ready. One man I talked to was given a suite because his room was unavailable, but it was a hospitality suite and thus had no bed! The solution was a tiny cot.

- The fitness facility is nice, but there are buckets and towels catching leaks from the roof. The hot tub is barely warm enough, and the jets don't work very well.
- When checking out - the man at the front desk seemed annoyed that I asked for a print-out and was upset with me that I couldn't hear/understand him ask for my room number.

This is just a summary of the many small things that add up for not such a great experience. Don't even get me started on the wifi prices. At least it works.

The hotel itself is a nice clean hotel, central and conveniently located to pretty much whatever bringa u toronto in the first place. Despite the positives that the building may offer, its ran by some racist security who made it their objective to find the one black man in A general common area , with and made it out he was trespassing although he and many other guests there were not guests that were stayinh. Called the cops on jim and had hin abused. I holld hold Sheraton as a whole responsible for this unacceptable behaviour. Id never go back and encourage all to do the same.

Nurses, Physicians, and other healthcare workers: they will deny you entry to the hotel facilities for being frontline.

Standard hotel rooms, nothing too special

It was an incredible place to have a conference. Rooms comfortable for social venues, the ballrooms spacious with a good sound system. Liked the lounge with chairs and couches to relax and enjoy a latte.

Nice hotel centrally located downtown. Walking distance to markets and tourist areas. Good rooms but HVAC makes the room temperature bounce between too warm and too cold in the summer. Head one floor below the lobby for access to the vast underground walkways snaking throughout downtown Toronto.

Good hotel in a decent location. Decor a bit aged but service are friendly and helpful. If you are bonvoy platinum with access to lounge is certainly a plus where I was delighted by the view. Lounge breakfast is simple but adequate to get you started in the morning.

Appalling for "4 star" hotel in the heart of downtown.

So aside from the filthy hand-towel and stained floor-- which only bothered me because this is supposed to be a four star hotel--our room backed against the hotel's turbo-powered elevators. I seriously couldn't sleep all night and was woken up first thing in the morning. I've stayed at airport hotels in Orlando that were quieter under a Christmas vacation flightpath. The only reason I didn't demand to switch rooms was because we got to the room late at night and my wife fell asleep. When I was woken up at 7 a.m. on the first weekend away from our baby in 1.5 years I visited the front desk. They told me there was nothing they could do regarding a refund/discount because I booked through a service (yeah right - you could have comped us a future stay or something!) They did, however, give us a complementary continental breakfast. You know, like the one that is included at every other hotel on the continent. Also, parking is $50. Maybe this is normal in New York, but not in Toronto. Finally--and this is a problem congenital of the "4-star" hotel system-- any hotel I stay at gets an instant fail rating if internet is not free (I believe 25 dollars). Internet is a basic amenity in 2018. Having a room without internet is like having a room without pillows. Could you imagine checking in to the Waldorf Astoria and being told in a staunch condescending manner " welcome, Sir and Madam, the valet will help you to your room, pillows will be an extra 25 dollars a head, if you require a down, down-alternative or cpap compatible you can visit the price-list from the discomfort of your bed. To access the site, there is a nominal $50 fee. Enjoy your stay."
I mean are you kidding me. Every 1-3 star hotel on the planet includes parking and wifi and usually, pillows.

So as I couldn't sleep I decided to buy a movie. I turned on the tv. After a seven minute load time I found a movie to watch: 24 dollars!!!!!

I'm already paying a small randsom to stay at a "4-star" hotel. After parking, internet, and fast and furious 17, I've shelled out another 100 bucks - I could have stayed at a two star hotel for about that price - which would have included internet, parking and breakfast. Plus, usually no filthy towels. I haven't ordered a movie in a hotel in 15 years, so maybe 24 dollars is the norm, but literally there is a movie theatre down the road. I could have gone to an IMAX 3d for less!!!!

Someone needs to give "4 star" hotels a serious millenial reality check. In the past, a 4 star hotel was the lap of luxury. Simply charging for basic amenities does not make you 4 star. A towel at the Waldorf would never be left hanging in a customers room with a stain (hell, I've never had that at a highway Holliday Inn), nice wallpaper does not make you a 4 star hotel and granite in the bathroom does not make you 4 star, and certainly a $50 continental breakfast tells me nothing of a hotels quality-only their pretention. Vegas does it right, go to the Bellagio and see what their all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet is like - we're taking fresh crab's legs, cocktails, gourmet waffles/crepes etc. The Sharaton had hard pancakes for the price of a filet mignon at Ruth's Chris. Steer clear of this mess -if anything, on principal.

You know what? This place just screams "home away from home"! It's just that good! The location, I mean what's not to beat about that? It is single handedly THE BEST situated hotel in the city, hands down. Like come on, go ahead and beat the location, I dare you. The atmosphere you ask? Astonishing! As soon as you walk in, the simple elegance hits you like a ton of bricks. Huge, high-ceilings in the well appointed lobby, minimal check-in lines and the service? Oh the service is fantastic! Like being pampered at the finest, five-star resort you can find! And this hotel was like this before Marriott acquired starwood! It's the property management and staff that keep this gem sparkling!

Friendly staff. Great location. Cheaper self parking across the street that connects underground to the Sheraton. Nice beds and lounge. Room was next to the elevator and could hear it all night.
