Sheraton Buganvilias Resort & Convention Center Reviews

Beautiful view, beautiful heated pool. Stayed on time share side and if you thought you were staying on the 13th floor it will only be the 3rd! Rooms are a little dated but clean. Go to Pepes tacos for tacos al pastor!!!

Sheraton Buganvilias has spacious clean rooms and a nice pool area with swim up bar. The beach is a little rocky, but has a nice view of the coastline. The all inclusive package seemed rather expensive for the restaurant selection. A 15 min walk or 5 min Uber ride from the hotel there are plenty of options. Just know that there isn't much in the immediate surroundings. Overall, it's a good value for the price, given the limitations.

This one is tough. This hotel has all of the fantastic features of a nice resort: great facilities, great location and clean open spaces. I just can t help think they believe that s good enough. The staff was not very helpful and their pool staff was down right rude. This could be a top notch place with more effort.

I would likely not return. There are too many places who appreciate great service to go back. Everything else was good, though.

Very good service in the events of conventions held in this hotel

I don't know what happened to this hotel but the quality of service and food (Buffet) dropped a lot.
They made the reservation wrong for us (a certain Melecio Mariscal) and above all they do not notify the changes that the packages suffer. Some very bad-faced waiters.
We stayed for 4 days and the Italian restaurant was always closed.
In the gym you have to "dial" in and out.
It must be said that Restaurant Gaviotas continues to be the best of the hotel. Excellent food and attention.

Lovely place for a destination wedding, outdoors, waves crashing in the background as the sun comes down, superb dinner and dancing. What more could you ask!

I am visiting Sheraton every yearsince 1998. That last few years it is really too crowded. Too much people around the pool and restaurants. So it's about time to visit other places

Amazing!!! My husband and I spent our honeymoon here. It was so gorgeous. View from our room couldn't get any better. All of the staff was spectacular, so kind and friendly. I really felt like we got the royal treatment. Everything was clean and neat. All of the food was so great. We loved our experience! Highly recommend.

Rosa at the front desk was a wonderful help to us on our recent trip to Puerto Vallarta. She was an example of exceptional customer service. She exceeded expectations as she helped us with transportation, restaurant suggestions and reservations. Rosa is a great employee who really went the extra mile to make our stay the best it could be.

Very large hotel and very comfortable rooms, the service is good I put a tache because they do not comply with what was promised when booking but they take pains to repair the faults, I went with everything included and when I left I got a bad taste in my mouth because he beat at 12 and I was checking out

The remodeling was very good. The all-inclusive did not suit me and I did not buy it but to stay all day at the hotel if it's convenient. Highly recommended. Ask rooms of lower floors, have a balcony although the superior ones have a better view.

Beautiful resort. Rooms are lovely and the beds are so comfortable. The pool can get very crowded but it is still fun.

The hotel's location is good and our room had a killer view of the ocean. That's the best it had. The view came with a price, not monetary. The Sheraton hosted live music at the pool which blasted the entire area with music-much, much too loud for a hotel. With our windows closed it felt like the band was actually in our room. Repeated complaints to the front desk and a request for the duty manager found no relief. The Concierge actually chuckled when I called because he was logging calls from guests complaining. He could not control the situation, just took room numbers.
On a second topic, there is an outdoor restaurant which is a buffet. The food prepared at the evening buffet was very bland. I don't think I've ever experienced hotel food so lacking in flavor and identity.
Unless you're in your early twenties and plan to be awake the entire time - stay someplace else, this isn't worth your hotel points or money.

It is not a good Hotel. The facilities are very old and lack of maintenance. Nothing to do with the other hotels in Vallarta. They charge for the use of the internet. If you go to any Starbucks coffee, for $ 30 you have all the time signal and here you pay a fortune for the week of vacation.
