EXCELLENT HOTEL: excellent location, excellent attention from most of the staff (only 3 negatives haha), spacious, clean rooms and without any setbacks in their operation, wide variety of food in its 6 different restaurants, although without a doubt "Las Gaviotas" takes the award by far! Although the beach does not have much sand, it looks like a glass mat and the sound is 10! The talk about the timeshare is long but hey, you already know what it is about. I went on a long weekend from 15 to 20 and although there were many people, it was easy to enjoy the stay.

Of course, if you don't take care of yourself, you run the risk of not enjoying Vallarta because this hotel has everything you need for an excellent stay !! : D

An excellent resort to rest and forget about everyday life, work, schools, etc. Excellent facilities and first class services, is easy access to the main road in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. There are shopping centers very close to its location, as well as places of leisure and entertainment. Highly recommended Greetings.

I really enjoyed staying here in past visits to PV. One aspect of the area I really enjoy is how inclusive it is. I was very disappointed to hear the hotel refused to allow a gay couple to get married at the resort. I won't be back.

WiFi is promoted at part of the includive option but not free. You can only use wifi for free in the lobby otherwise it is $15 a day. You are also grilled for 45 upon checking in about a timeshare. The hours for the bars are not ideal and the included food is mediocre.

The most dangerous beach in Puerto Vallarta

The most dangerous beach in Puerto Vallarta

The sea urchin infested beach. Attempt to swim and you will End up 40 or more inch-long poisonous needles. The hotel doctor will charge you $US50 for (a rather unprofessionally) attempting to remove some of them.

No lifeguards on duty in either swimming pool or beach.

The hotel s first-aid kit consisted of a backpain ointment and six pairs of expired rubber gloves. Not sure if similar maintenance standards apply to the fire and other safety measures. In my professional experience it s usually the case.

All other hotels and public beaches are perfectly safe. So, if you are looking for a beach holiday, give this hotel a miss

It is very disorganized , when we arrived we were taken to the wrong side, I think trying to sell some time shares, we declined the pitch so that was fine. Then we were told kids club was open by 4 people, when we to the building the sign on the door said they were swimming, great so we walked through all the pools in the hot sun. Then we were told no they are open so walked back. Then we were told oh the caregiver had left so maybe they will be open tomorrow. I have very low expectations on it being open or anyone knowing what s going down. The service was fine not extraordinary but average. The rooms are average a little dated and no balconies. The Westin andMarriott are much more beautiful and efficient. It s tired and dated and just kinda blah. The shower rain head didn t work so you only got a jet to the face. On a plus lovely water view from windows and clean.

Uncomfortable

Uncomfortable
I get to the room and 10 minutes later my luggage
5 min later the maid arrives to deliver the slippers
10 min later the supervisor arrives to check if she is busy
10 min later they come to check if the bar is full
1 later the maid arrives to see if I have towels
They don't let rest

The service is indeed a nightmare, waiters always denying service or letting you wait more when you ask for something. Vacation club sales team are harassing you every time you get out of the elevators. But rooms are just hilarious, narrow bathrooms, no area or anything for hang your wet clothes, mo working coffee machine, service not picking any towels, a dripping water in the bathroom , and a long etcetera. Indeed not a nice experience.

Impressive how rude and poorly attended we were by the waiters on the pier. I understand that it is all inclusive, but even fear gave us ask for more ... Pessimistic attitude, glasses of plastic, and closed ahead of time.

Beautiful property. Food was overpriced and decent. To get internet and 20% off everything, you have to listen to the timeshare presentation. We are a young couple so they didn't even try to push us past 30 mins, but others were there for more than 4 hours. You do get a free buffet breakfast out of it. We stayed in the timeshare 1 bedroom unit and it was awesome. It was a great deal through the company Global Discovery Vacations, but there are many RCI owners and other companies that qualify for the same deal. I really liked that within walking distance we could go to a grocery store and street tacos. If you don't like that, the hotel is pretty enough that you could just stay there and then take a taxi to town or nice restaurants in the area. Also, beware of the beach. Wear sandals or you will get cut!
