The building is dated but has been updated in modern, sophisticated way. The room is spacious and house keeping is impeccable. The only negative I would say is that there is no casual dining for a quick, inexpensive meal at the lobby bar. Brand new TV in the hotel room has a very nice picture.
Was at a small wedding reception. Food was excellent, especially the prime rib and gnocchi bar. Staff was welcoming and accommodating.
The room was very clean and comfortable. It was a bit interesting that the interior rooms faced the lobby area, but it didn't bother me too much. The location is excellent - it's close enough to the highways and is only a 15-20 min drive into downtown Minneapolis. I would highly recommend staying here.
Too fancy for my taste, order was messed up, ordered a steak sandwich, instead got a 40 dollar steak. Had homemade gnocchi, which was clumped up, and way undercooked

Conveniently located by the 494 freeway, spacious and great looking rooms, main lobby as an amazing interior and ambience, staff was friendly and nice as well. I would definitely go stay here again but for the right price.
Freshly renovated, this hotel was great. The food options were great. They could be kinda pricey, but delicious. The rooms were also updated and the location is close to food and shopping. I would stay here again.

The conference room was well stocked with everything we needed for our meeting. The catering crew was efficient and friendly, and the food was top-notch. Super easy to get to from I-494.
Staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel cam be a little hard to navigate but it's clean and has a pool.
Have stayed here a few times now for work in the area. The hotel structure is a little bit older but they have done their best to stay up to date ascetically. Per the high Marriott standards, the rooms have always been clean.
The biggest downside, in my experience and personal opinion, to this hotel is the interior facing windows with large event conference hall below. If you are unfortunate enough to cheap out or get stuck with a room facing the interior atrium, expect zero window privacy and consistent noise from the conferences/meetings/parties below.
Pool and closer ice machines would be nice. Some random mechanical sounds but the room is nice and the staff it friendly.
The room was beautiful and the bed amazing. Try the eggs Benedict and coffe in the morning for the best way to wake up!

saw two dogs urinating out the front door, fridge did not work sent a total of three to our room. no movies pet friendly we were not informed of that my girlfriend has allergies staff was rude and didn't seem to want to help much. our food and treats were ruined one staff member agreed with me off the record he said he sees animal urinating in front lot almost every day disgusting!!!

Check in was a breeze; we were asked our room preference (and received it!). We were on the 5th floor, expansive room facing inwards. Most friendly service from all staff- front desk, housekeeping, baristas! 10/10 best hotel in the area

The location was nice, right off of 494. The rooms were very nice but dimly lit. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was good. We requested early check in but still had to wait a while for our room. Overall, it was a good place to stay.

Excellent hotel and even better staff! I was hosting a bachelor party for the weekend. The location was easy for everyone to get to, and there was plenty of parking. I purchased 3 rooms on a third party booking site. I stopped in the day before, just to verify the reservation was all set before the rest of the group arrived. At other hotels, when they find out you booked through a third party website, they don t offer the best customer service. Not at the Sheraton! The gentleman I spoke with at the customer service desk was friendly and very helpful. When we showed up the day of our reservation we were slightly early. I was informed one of the rooms was ready, but not the others. The customer service representative was apologetic and promised to call or message me when the other rooms were ready. This was great! We were able to drop our things off in one room and head to our dinner reservation. While we were out the hotel contacted me and asked if I needed anything else. I needed a roll away bed and they took care of it before we were even back. At other hotels they bring a roll away bed to your room and let you figure out how to set it up. Not at the Sheraton! It was all set up with bedding sheets and a pillow! It was perfect! Check out was a breeze and the staff was amazing! Thank you Sheraton! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond and were very professional. Highly recommend for top service and comfort at a great price!
We booked a one night stay near Christmas.The location is a bit desolate (it's in sort of an industrial area) but that means it was easy to get in and out. The hotel lobby is gorgeous and large. Rooms were very nice, great bed and really great pillows. Shower was killer (standing with an overhead head). Very pet friendly! We brought our golden retriever with us and they gave us a Sheraton branded poo bag dispenser. Concierge gave treats to our dog upon arrival.

Well lit and comfortable hotel with an impressive lobby. The toilet made a loud noise all night but the staff was attentive to our needs. Lacking a pool, hot tub, or sauna. Above average fitness center. Food and drinks are expensive, but high class!

I paid over $230 for a Monday night (July 13, 2015) with AAA and was supposed to receive wifi, club access and breakfast - I was given none, even after asking.

The hotel accepts dogs that weigh 80 pounds or less. A Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Dog Bed, Sheraton dog bowl and mat, "dog in room" sign, and a pet welcome kit are all provided. All guests with pets will need to sign a liability waiver upon arrival.
I received NONE of these items, nor was offered any of them, but did have to sign the liability waiver - so they knew I had my dogs with me, plus they physically saw them.
Room location was awful, overlooked the middle, inside of the hotel, no privacy, no sunlight and it was right over where the renovations were, so we woke to the sound of the beautiful jack hammer and drills, at 7 am, after driving 16 hours straight, prior to arrival.
Doorman was afraid of dogs, refused to open the door for us or to carry our luggage to our room.
Way toooooooo long a walk to take the dogs from your room to outside the hotel, where there was no pet area, tables or benches.
I would absolutely NOT recommend this hotel, with or without pets. I travel extensively with my dogs and it was the worst stay we have EVER had it...
JUST DON'T DO IT, plenty of other pet friendly hotels, close by, who are better equipped for pets and much less expensive.

Booked this hotel across from the venue of an event I was attending. Excellent customer service, nice clean room, lovely comfortable bedding; everything was perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

Poor air conditioning due to which didnt sleep 3 nights straight.. changed room once but the prob didnt go away. I would not recommend this place.
Love this hotel! We came without a reservation and in less than 10 minutes we were in a gorgeous room. Extremely pet friendly. The desk clerk gave him a treat and said hi every time we passed. Even gave us free potty bags. I would say the only downside to this place is the restaurant attached is way too expensive.

It's been years since I had been back to the Twin Cities. The hotel looks good still and is well kept up. If there's anything I could recommend is changing would be the entrance/exit. It took about 20 minutes to get out of the parking lot during rush hour. Next time I have to plan more time so I can try the restaurant out.

Loved it!!! This hotel was absolutely fabulous!!! from the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with smiles and excellent customer service from front desk person Carissa. My king size bed was big and comfortable with plush pillows I didn't even want to get out of bed lol. the hotel is spacious and beautifully decorated with amazing artwork. Excellent food from the restaurant and room service. It was a little pricey but it was worth it. I loved my rain shower head in my bathroom. I enjoyed my Starbucks coffee in the morning. Convenient location right off of the freeway. When it comes to hotels I highly recommend this hotel. I am a level-7 local guide for Google. My photos and reviews have been viewed over 500000 times and I am in the top 1% of local guides in Minneapolis Minnesota. I took a lot of photos for everyone to view. Every time we have a special visit to Mpls.We stay here.We will spend another Thanksgiving at the hotel,except this trip we shall have our 2 standard poodles Looking forward to our gracious stay.
