We stayed here on our wedding night and I'm fairly certain they upgraded our room for free. Check-in was fast and painless, the room was gorgeous and huge, the lobby is beautiful and open. Overall, this is my favorite Minneapolis hotel. Just be aware the floor-to-ceiling windows are not totally opaque from the outside when you're standing right in front of them. ;)

It's definitely not the Sofitel. It's a step down, in every area, from what it once was. Still a decent hotel but I don't feel like it is worth the price.
Great location, clean, quiet rooms, plenty of parking. Staff was consistently friendly and helpful. Matt S. was the MAN at the front desk, extremely helpful, concerned and attentive to our family's needs. Wilson was another fantastic staff member whose positive and friendly attitude made our stay super-enjoyable. Exercise room was clean and all machines in working order. Love the pet-friendly room and attention to our dog Sophie's experience. Kudos also to the Sheraton on a sleek, thoughtful makeover (previously Sofitel) We'll be back!
Most of the rooms do not have fridges or microwaves, so there isn't a good way to provide yourself food, aside from the attached restaurant. The rooms are spacious at least, but the bathrooms also have folding closet doors that don't actually close or lock for privacy.
Best service, helpful doorman, great food. You can't go wrong staying here!
Problem with reservation & objection to undisclosed " add on " fees that amount to required deposits. We never agreed in advance of arrival at the property
These are sneaky and fraudulent consumer business practices.
All guests should not tolerate these high handed price jacking efforts. Rates need full disclosure.

Good location and great bar. I haven't done dinner there, but it looks nice. The standard Marriott Club breakfast sucks.
Here for a nerd convention and the staff is much kinder/relatable than in previous years. The renovation seems nice and if I could find the breakfast I'm sure it would be lovely.

Nice room, smaller then you would expect for the price. Very quiet, thick walls. Did not hear anyone else and that is nice. Very friendly front staff.
Only 2 issues that I had. 1) No refrigerator in the rooms. So if u want to keep food/soda cold, no go. 2) Also the in house restaurant will not deviate from the menu at all. How it's listed is how you get it.
Have attended a few events during Convergence here at the Sheraton and have been impressed with the AC rigidity in this hot weather. Much appreciated! Signage for different events could be clearer though.
Staff is incredibly helpful, room is very nice, and dining is of high quality.
It's gorgeous inside and I only attented a covention here, but they provided very nice ice cold water.

Nice rooms. Booked a single and requested a romantic view. Was given a double, and a view of the Hotel next-door.

We had a double room on the main floor that was very comfortable and clean. It had a couch, chair, and large TV. The amount of space we had was about 50% more than the average for a double I've stayed in, which made it very nice for convention room parties.
One of your FD staff checked somebody in my room and under my name before I arrive. Had to stand in lobby to wait more than half an hour after my 8 hrs driving @ 2:00 am. Yes, after half hour they found out who in my room and give another room to me, but this kind of mistake shouldn t happen in this high end level of hotel like yours. I gave my credit card info when I make reservation, and I m still worried is that room still connect to my credit card?
quiet and nice hotel. rooms are large and beds are so comfortable. food in the restaurant is awesome
While the rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable.. the fact that even in a club king room (premium) there is no microwave or fridge is somewhat disappointing, especially in an area with such few late night food options

The inside is so beautiful. I love the Sheraton. The views from the room were nice too. I came for a convention and surprisingly our room was next to friends- unplanned! Was a good time and the staff are friendly and professional.

Very nice and modern hotel. The restaurant attached looked good but did not eat there. Even though the fire alarm went off at 2am in the morning, the night staff did a good job of informing most of the people of what was going on and assured us we had nothing to worry about. Note to residents: smoke outside. Otherwise you'll force 75+ angry people outside at 2 in the morning.
I was quite impressed with this hotel. The outside of the building looks a little rough, but the inside is great. The room was well appointed and very clean. The only reason that I didn't give my stay five stars is because the room I stayed in (in the 540s) had a pulsing, whirring noise for the entire time I was there. It was like the room was right under an AC compressor.
Went there for a conference and got free bananas. What a deal. Tammy, for goodness sake go to Disney for a vacation, not 494 and Normandale!

Great location, fantastic looking indoors with a Starbucks on site. The building itself looks a little dingy from outside but inside is a different story. Public Access to tablets, laptops, on site bar and lounge. Couldn't ask for more.

Room service is too slow, quality of laundry is bad.
We had a horrible experience at another hotel nearby so we checked out and moved to the Sheraton. We were glad we did. The property was impressive. The staff was friendly and courteous. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The hotel restaurant was very good. We ll stay here in the future.
Newer, nice hotel - inside and out. Friendly staff all round, day and night. Rooms a good size. Price point good too. Would definitely recommend and rebook.
The people at the hotel are great. Very helpful with anything you can think of. However, it feels like the Sheraton wants to ring every cent out of you. Instead of earning it from you.

Excellent rooms. Couldn't get out of bed. Great place to recharge over the holidays. Got 12 hours of sleep each day I was there. Awesome
We were here during the day for a week of meetings and had our meals catered by the hotel and the food was superb.
