The Suite Life -

Days before we arrived, after speaking with Matt (a "supervisor" I believe) at the front desk, I knew we were in for a wonderful experience. It did not disappoint! We booked a suite for a few days using SPG points (best hotel rewards program ANYWHERE), and decided to add on an extra night. He really took care of us, and the rest of the team kept the experience rolling.

Every person we met, from the smiling front desk team members, to the housekeeping staff who greeted me and my dogs by name, to the bellman, the facility manager (who chatted About GSD's with us), and everyone in between was wonderful and friendly.

Pros (non-exhaustive) -
1 - Staff, staff, staff!
2 - Best "pet friendly" experience we've ever had, and with 2 big dogs. (Dog beds, water and food bowls, and smiling faces and treats at the front desk. Never felt odd or unwanted - even for a second!)
3 - Great rooms, beds, and amenities.
4 - Plentiful free parking.
5 - Did I say the staff???

2 cons -
1 - No pool. I saw this after booking, and while it wouldn't have changed my mind due to the generous pet policy, it was a shame nonetheless.
2 - We didn't stay longer! My daughter said (through tears) "I wish we could stay here for TEN DAYS daddy!"

Long story short, we had a great experience and I highly recommend!

This location has good facilities. Conference rooms are well kept.

The room was sgreat as we're most of the employees, however one of the women, I am unsure of who exactly it was, was extremely rude to us our first day.

The hotel was generally nice and clean and the staff were very helpful. But we also had a few experiences that we didn't like. First there were quite a few ladybugs inside the first room they gave us, so we had to switch rooms. Second, the breakfast at club lounge was kind of lousy. The lounge did not have enough space for sitting at the tables, and some had to sit on sofas to have breakfast. Furthermore, the buffet constantly ran out of a number of items like juices and yogurt. And you had to ask the single attendant to bring more. By the way, he was also very slow at cleaning the tables, so people couldn't even use the very few tables that were there.

Near the highway but service is good and front desk is friendly. Room is comfortable.

This hotel has the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. The location is very convenient and easy to get to. Even though it is right on 494, we heard no traffic noises. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

Clean rooms, friendly service and definitely worth the money.

Very nice and clean hotel. The bathroom is very large with a wonderful shower. I will visit regularly.

They had amazing service and had a welcome kit for my puppy too

I stayed here for a convention taking place at the Doubletree next door. The staff was nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and modern. The pic in our room creates a debate about whether this woman was sinking in or coming out. Very entertaining

This hotel is beautifully renovated and very comfortable. We are always treated very well by the staff, and thoroughly enjoy our stay every time.

Good hotel with nice facilities. There is an excellent gym with several treadmills open 24/7. The breakfast in the restaurant is on the good end, though a bit small. Their espresso is mean. Good service and quick service.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton Bloomington hotel. We chose to stay there because we had our two dogs with us, and they were so accommodating! They provided us with a special door tag to alert fellow guests and employees that dogs were present in our room, as well as complimentary doggie bags for when we took them outside. They even gave us a room on the ground floor so as to make it easier for them to go outside. They were very kind and thoughtful. As a dog owner, I would highly recommend this establishment, and we will definitely stay again!
