Clean hotel. Friendly staff. Nice rooms on the club level. Lela Restaurant's food is very good.

We got to our room and there was no fitted sheet on the bed, only 2 sheets and the comfortor/cover. We called the front desk to see if someone could put a fitted sheet on out bed for us. 20 minutes later, no one showed up, so we went down to the front desk to ask about it again. The person at the front desk said that the guy said he had already stopped by our room and dropped off the sheet (which he didn't). We were told he would be right up, and we waited a few minutes more, and we open the door and he gives us the sheet and walks away. I know this is picky, but we paid a lot of money to stay at this hotel and don't feel it's our responsibility to make the beds...
Attended a work event here. Experience was very nice. Location is right off of 494 very easy to get to.
Clean, easy parking, good location. Beds are very comfortable.
Not overly fancy, service is solid, gets the job done for large groups and corporate outings.
A fantastic hotel designed for the business traveller. Great work space atrium and anchor restaurant. Clean hotel rooms and an above average gym area.
Attended a panel for Convergence. Clean and attractive layout and rooms. Signage to find the panel room was poor, but hotel staff was very helpful.
Lovely clean spacious rooms. The hotel restaurant has an amazing chef so meals are very tasty. General feeling was if spaciousness and quiet comfort. Recommend.
Great location, clean, updated rooms. Great service!
Great location for work meetings in Edina. Accommodations and food are fantastic as well, Judy don't get the tuna sandwich
My stay was very nice and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and professional. The amenities are great. I love that booking was very simple as well as the check in process!
Fantastic room. Courteous staff. Accessible to the highway and easy to navigate. Lovely stay all around. Would definitely recommend to anyone else staying in the area.
Beautiful rooms and Hugh quality service. Love the Sheraton!
Beautiful hotel with comfortable beds. Was there for a convention and they treated us well.
The coldest nights in history; -51 wind chill temperatures for three days, and no heat or hot water. The temperature in my room was colder than the refrigerator which was 37 degrees Fahrenheit. I called maintenance three times. He came down and waved his device in front of the vent and told me it was working. I went through the night freezing. I removed all the cover from the other bed to put on the bed I was sleeping in. It was just that cold. The next morning I woke up, my clothes and shoes were freezing. I had to put on cold underwear. I left a water bottle out. The water was cooler in the room than the refrigerator which was set at 37 degrees Fahrenheit.
Service of the hotel is accommodating and up to standards.
Very nice place. Didn't do much outside of the ballroom. But no complaints
Up to date rooms were nice. Layout of hotel a bit odd I think, especially the lobby to the rooms. Staff pleasant. Location of hotel isn't the best. No microwave available in rooms due to being "against fire code." Probably wouldn't stay again.
Lovely! New and renovated and totally worth every cent.
Stayed here for the first time. Made a great impression. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast was definitely worth it!
After staying at multiple hotels in the Twin Cities we have finally found our hotel. Not staying here constantly has us saying "We should have stayed at the Sheraton". Never had an issue with this hotel. Truly top notch!
The hotel is fantastic! Plenty of power outlets for business travelers, clean and comfortable rooms and a very pleasant environment.
We were here for business meeting and had a great time. Rooms were very clean and updated. I always check the covers and sheets for bugs and I did not find not even a trace in my room. They served us breakfast and lunch between our sessions and I have to tell you the food was spectacular. I didn't hear any complaints from the rest of our group either so I am assuming they had as a delightful experience as I did.
Quaint, accommodating, and nostalgic. Was originally the Sofitel, and it's integrity has been maintained.
Stay here every year for the Anime Detour convention. Excellent and prompt service all around. Not a single complaint!
Attended for a convention, but stayed in another hotel. The Sheraton was very clean and orderly and all facilities were in very good shape.
I like to try local beers while traveling, and this bar had lots of local, unfortunately the bar tender was unknowledgeable
This place definitely very good for any concerns. Nothing wrong, and I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for the hotel in Bloomington.
Extremely slow service. Unclear wine prices. Would not recommend considering how much it costs for a meal.
The lobby bar closes at 9pm which is pretty early. There were no toiletries in my room at all when I checked in. However, the room was big and the desk staff was really nice.
Sheraton overseas is way better than the ones in the US. Called in ahead of time for a request and staff told me it was no problem. Got here and they seemed to have completely ignored my request. I suggest spending your money somewhere else.
My family were homeless when my husband accepted a chef position at Sheraton in Bloomington. The hotel owner allowed my family to take refuge in a spacious king sized suite. For a little over a month, my family lived there free of charge. I will forever remember this tremendous act of kindness and am eternally grateful. Thank you so much!
Great newly renovated hotel, only bad thing was not all of the rooms had a desk.
Nothing was wrong with the hotel, I just didn't spend much time there! I only stayed for a few hours after weather forced a missed connection at MSP. I got there around 11, and left around 9 the next morning, so there wasn't a lot of time to explore. But the room was very clean, and the bathroom was really nice too. All in all, I would stay here again, if I was spending some time in the area. For a quick overnight stop between flights, it was probably a little far from the airport.
Attended a work event in the public space of hotel. The room was clean, the staff were nice, and overall the hosting seemed very professional.
Clean rooms. Restaraunt in hotel is expensive, so we never went there for food. Pool and/or hot tub would have been wonderful.
Very disappointed that the Sheraton has decided to become generic and discontinue the fabulous brunch they inherited from Hotel Sofitel. What a shame.
The sheraton in Bloomington is nicely appointed and conveniently located near the airport. The hotel has business suites as well as a restaurant and pool. The restaurant has a fairly nice menu and works very quickly.
Nice hotel, pet friendly, I like the Lounge, drinks and appetizers and breaksfast.
Lovely hotel overall despite the dated exterior. Interior is well appointed, very clean and comfortable rooms, staff were polite and helpful, main bar staff were a bit slow, but catering bar staff were on point. Would enjoy returning!
Very clean, organized, and prepared for event traffic!
Good clean room, excellent service. Sad no pool, but oh well. Tis a business hotel.
Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Easy check in
The lobby and conference rooms are quite classy and comfortable.
Wonderful guest service staff, well-kept rooms, and great food. Thanks for the great stay.
The hotel had been upgraded. This used to be the Sofitel. Rooms are comfortable. Lobby has been upgraded. The new restaurant Leela had a very good breakfast and we received a discount coupon upon check-in. There is always lots of parking space. Front desk staff was very friendly at check-in.
Great place to stay. Entire hotel was very clean and the beds were very comfortable.
The outside of the property looks dated, so I was very pleasantly surprised when I walked into my absolutely gorgeous room the first time I stayed here, but it's been hit or miss since. Sometimes they put me in a bigger room with an armoir, robes, etc, and sometimes it's in a very basic room. Also, the bathroom layout is always different.
I don't want to sound pretentious or over demanding, but it looks like I'll be spending a lot of time here in the months to come and would love it if they delivered consistent value to make it feel more like home.
The breakfast is outstanding and the staff is so friendly. My only complaint there would be that housekeeping always forgets to replace the breakfast card (the thing you hang on your door if you want breakfast in your room), so I usually have to call in the middle of the night to get a replacement brought.
The gym is incredible.
I loved my stay here. Amazing food from their restaurant, great customer service, and beautiful rooms.
My favorite Minneapolis area hotel. Rooms are super clean and comfortable. Beds are in great condition. Staff is very friendly. The on-site restaurant, Lola's, is not what you'd expect in a hotel. The food and atmosphere is terrific! I spend 180 nights a year in hotels, and this is one of my absolute favorites.
They had the dealers room for convergence in there. I thought It went very well, much less crowded than in previous years.
The remodel looks great. Everything looks modern and it's in a great location.
I was there for a wedding venue rehearsal. The space is very open but there seems to be limited seating and it's not private; it's an indoor "courtyard" space viewable by hotel room windows and accessible by all hotel guests because it's a space just down the stairs from the bar and hotel lobby. The hotel itself is bigger than it looks from the outside. It actually has five floors. There's also plenty of parking spaces.
We stayed here while attending a nearby convention. The hotel is quiet and beautiful. We stayed on the club level that added extra amenities that we greatly appreciated. The beds are particularly comfortable, I should mention. I have a bad back and some beds make it worse, these were perfect! I will definitely stay here again.
Convention option not too far from MSP. Rooms incredibly spacious and clean. Modern lobby more akin to a Westin. One of the better Sheraton properties I've experienced.
Nice large and clean room. We did have a AC problem the first night it was extremely hot. Told the desk about it and they fixed it in a reasonable amount of time.
Awesome place to eat and stay. Went for 20th anniversary and may go back next year if we get same red carpet treatment in October!
Came to see the merchandiser room for a con that I was attending. It was very nice and seemed accommodating.
Rooms are nice, spacious, with rainfall-type showers. Only downside to rooms were low ceilings that made them feel cave-like. Didn't eat in restaurant but event was catered by hotel and was really good. Hotel looks like it's been recently updated.
Well appointed rooms, nice amenities, friendly staff, decent rates
Great Hotel. It has an amazing bar and a restaurant. I found bar tender and restaurant manager very helpful and customer oriented.
Good hotel convenient location and great amenities. Very close to mall of America and outlets. Good in house restaurant
I ate at Lela. This was a good place to entertain for a business dinner. The menu was very solid in terms of choices and quality. The atmosphere was a great contemporary feel. This place is easy to get to and it's easy to park. The staff was very accommodating and nice to work with
Very nice hotel, perfect for business travel. The on site bar and restaurant are great as well.
Wonderful staff and great restaurant. Hotel rooms are very nice too.
