Beautiful luxurious hotel. Has a sky bus stop which is really close and convenient. The only short coming is that pickup/drop off is confusing and my Uber is unable to come pick up me and my luggage directly outside the hotel.

Staff, hotel, and room was all excellent. Stayed at Four Points in Brisbane and this one in Auckland was SO much better from a service perspective. The service during the morning breakfast was incredible!

This is the worst service I've ever received from a hotel, totally ruined our stay.
We were there on business and had 3 rooms being paid for online by the company that was putting us up. They asked for my personal card for incidentals which was fine but they ended up charging 2 room rates plus incidentals on my card as soon as I handed it over even after explaining right from the start that the rooms were already paid for by the company. Was disappointing to have $834 charged to my personal credit card when I really needed the money on there for my stay in Auckland. But the person who booked me in assured me that it would be "released" back on to my credit card that same day. That was Saturday, today is Wednesday and it still hasn't been refunded after talking to 7 different people assuring me it would then take 3 business days from the Saturday. Another phone call today and it's now "3-5 business days" to refund. Plus if we want to hear from the manager it will take another 3 business days to hear back? Why so long?? They just keep fobbing me and my husband off - not impressed!!! I do not recommend staying here, many other hotels in Auckland cheaper and better service! We run a business, I know how long it takes to refund someone's credit card. Definitely not 5 days! They now have double the payment for those rooms and no one seems to really care to sort it. If I don't have that money back on my card by Friday I will be taking action.

This is the nicest larger city 4 Points I have ever stayed at. VERY friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff.
Great location on the corner of Mayoral and Queen Street. Hotel has the highest Rooftop Bar in the city.
I easily would rank dinner in the hotels restaurant as good as any St. Regis, Ritz Carlton, Luxury Collection, etc I've stayed at and I am a Lifetime Titanium member with plenty of experience.

By bus all participants of the International Event were brought to the conference hotel SHERATON Auckland Hotel. As a German expert in the dairy industry, I was very surprised by the various colleagues who had served for a long time and who were very open-minded on an international level.

Best beds ever! Staff were great! Breakfast staff were wonderfully accommodating with allergies.
But seriously- we both slept all night, each time we stayed there, on a long around the world trip.
Wonderful places to eat close by.

Nice hotel conveniently located by the Skybus and City Center. The main entrance is a bit of a hassle to get to but once you've checked in, you have a key that will allow access from the side which is much more convenient. The staff was helpful. The bathrooms were clean. Strong WiFi signal if you need to catch up with emails and such. We got a corner room with a view but there were so much construction going on, there was no point of getting a view.

Lovely little hotel, staff were a delight. Would have been awesome if I could have got a room with a bath, but the shower was fantastic so I'll let that slide :)

The only downside was that when I arrived late on Saturday night the bar had closed, but don't let that tarnish the place.

Nice and fairly new hotel close to the university and other hotels. Lots of parking and food choices nearby. About a 15 minute walk to the water so it's not too far. Keep in mind that walking back to the hotel means walking uphill. Could be a problem to some.

The staff at this place was so amazing and helpful. Very convenient downtown location. There was always a taxi cab waiting outside the hotel door.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Loved staying there!

BED BUGS!

BED BUGS!

Yes that is right I stayed here for 2 nights, at around 0200 on the first night I woke up terribly itch on my forearms which I had under my pillow.

I tried to get back to sleep then felt another bite on my stomach. I managed to turn the light on and kill one of the bed bugs (photo attached), and ended up with multiple bites on my arms and torso.

I went down and got a new bed bug free room, but this is hardly what you would expect from a Four Points by Sheraton. I did get 25k points on checkout as compensation which is enough for 1 night at this property, but I have been 3 nights since I haven't woken up with itchy bites on my arms.

The hotel also accused me of infesting the room by asking where I stayed previously, then answer to this was my bed bug free house. Luckily I had my single bag on the desk and at no time on the bed, but would have hated to have brought these back to Sydney with me.

If you have never had these before they remain itchy for 4 days after biting, so far 3 nights of bad sleep and itchy all day.

Breakfast was very good. Drain for shower was too skinny and allowed water onto the bathroom floor. Room was nice size and very clean. 20 minute walk from the port and the SkyBus stop is in the same building... very convenient

They took great care of us even though some of their floors are just coming on line. Much better restaurant amd breakfast than US standard. Also right in the middle of the university district so many restaurants within 2 blocks. Excellent choice in downtown Auckland

Horrible customer service, really rude stares given towards my way when trying to organise outcomes. When there was problems they were dealt really bad they looked frustrated and super annoyed with me which is no customer service values at all if actually studied on their values and reception did not nearly even receive near what I expected at all.

Nice new Marriott group hotel. The room is decent (we got upgraded), very clean and modern.

The hotel itself isn t huge, and we had dinner at one of the restaurants. The hotel is still in its soft opening period, you could tell as it was lacking some finishing touches. The waiters were a little fresh and still need some additional training. There were plates and left over room service in hallways - which was quite gross. We had to notify housekeeping to come clean them up.

Overall the room was nice, but the restaurant food was a bit of a let down. One of the main meals was very unappetising (don t order the Vietnamese beef salad). The dumplings also looked like frozen ones heated up you buy at the supermarket.

The location of the hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from all the action.

I have been in Auckland a few times over the last 2 years and this is my first time at this hotel. It is currently being renovated so that is warning number 1, my 2nd warning is after doing four laps around the block there is no parking and you have to park in public car park across the road (when raining like today it means you get WET!) 3rd warning the breakfasts are pricy for what you get and service is a bit patchy, I waited 20mins then I had to ask for tea and coffee.
Rooms are really nice, not very big but they have everything you need. They clean them well and I think that is great given the lack of time they give people to service rooms these days. My room had a lightbulb out and for three days it didn't get fixed, I didn't mention it as I wondered if their processes would find it.
Overall nice hotel but I didn't like the lack of front entrance and valet parking option.

What a great hotel! My GF found it and it was the perfect spot for our first time in Auckland. The SkyBus stops are right outside the door on Queen Street. So easy and cheap ($36nzd r/t) to and from the airport. We were on the 18th floor and the views were incredible. TV was good, room was clean. WC was nice and big. Small coffee press in room, so if you like coffee, you'll need to get used to pressing a few times. Or go find drip/pour over (but that's hard to find). Bed was comfortable. Friendly staff. We had a great stay. I would certainly stay again and hope to.

I was very disappointed with the lack of communication offered, which is unlike the other Four Points hotel I have stayed in while visiting Sydney. I privately requested a contact email address for Four Points Auckland management team. They offered me a reservation contact address, when I let them know my query wasn't in relation to a current booking they simply stopped responding, and ignored my follow up. This issue has not been resolved.

Beautiful, newer modern hotel a few short blocks from the Central Business District. Rooms are well designed, very clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a great selection of omelets, cheeses, breads, fruit, muesli and muffins. Service is excellent. We would definitely recommend and stay here again in a minute.

Hotel is beautiful and so clean. Staff are wonderful and friendly. Only issue we had was paying for more when we arrived and not being warned through website or anything that ontop of your room price is a bond and without that bond you cannot stay. Thankfully we could pay it and we even got upgraded. The rooms are new and clean and sadly no city view but still amazing big windows which help the smaller rooms feel more open.

Great hotel with friendly staff. One of the best Four Points hotel I've been too, very modern and functional rooms. Good view from the rooms. Breakfast spread is very good with quality and fresh. Good location as is close to the CBD and tourist attractions. Around the hotel there are lots of different type of shops and eateries. Generic amenities of the hotel is good.

Great place to stay in Auckland, centrally located, friendly staff, top notch Buffett breakfast. Reasonably priced rooms. Was upgraded to a balcony suite and you can t beat the views! Simply spectacular Rooms are functional with a modern design, free movies a plus when unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. Would stay here again even if I got a better deal somewhere else.

Super nice, new hotel in the heart of Auckland. The room was really nice and because if my husband's status we got a lovely free breakfast! I was particularly excited because they did me an iced coffee (which I've been missing since moving to NZ.)

Worst Hotel Stay EVER.

Worst Hotel Stay EVER.

I am a Spg platinum member and travel a lot and I've stayed in many hotels. But I haven't had any experience like that and this stay was awful in that hotel!

The location is good but THERE ARE A LOT OF INCONVENIENCES.

First of all, the room service is terrible!!!!!!!! For any of my orders, I had to wait a long long long time and can say that certainly that for anything I had to call at least 3 times to room service. Just for a pack of milk I called them 5 times and waited 2 hours!!!

After their services, the worst thing is the food!! After a long time, they bring to you an inedible food! It was really weird!!! BUT I FOUND SOME STONES IN THE FOOD (I'd ordered Te Mana lamb).

The staff was unprofessional, even I talked to Paul (one of the managers) and he just made excuses for the problems.

I had to change my hotel after 5 days and will not be staying at Four Points by Sheraton in Auckland again.

Great Hotel, enjoyed staying here, got a nice small gym as well. Good room service, I got every day 2 bottle water for free, also the refill for the nice coffee bar. Had some nice view from my room. The bed was cozy and I slept quite well.
Best part was the electricity, there is a main switch for all lights close to the bed and the entrance, so smart!

No sleep. We were put in different accommodation to our usual due to renovations, and although it all looks nice enough it was not very sound proof. I swear I heard every door close but the road noise was the worst, a bus every 5mins. How is it possible I can here street noise from lv 7, no double glazing? Having usually stayed on Queen street I can tell you this is not normal, you're usually oblivious to noise outside. I asked for a different room but was advised it would be no different. Do not recommend.

We book a room to celebrate the NY of 2019. The room and bar can see the sky city fireworks directly. The service is great and facility is new. Room size is a bit small bit bathroom is great. We enjoy our stay here and the breakfast is exceptional even the choice wasn't a lot but the quality of each dish is so nice. The hash browns is freshly cook on order. It would be nice to have the flat white included as part of the breakfast.

More like a higher end butique hotel than the Sheraton economy properties we see in the US. The is a restaurant and bar on the lobby level and a bar on the upper level.

We were upgraded to a corner room which was really nice and spacious.

Good stay with great location. This place is located right on the end of Queen street in downtown/cbd. You can walk to most places in the cbd and the harbor from here.
The staff was exceptionally friendly and accomodating - all around. This is also the only Marriott (as of 2019) property in all of New Zealand - status gives you discounted breakfast which was pretty good with good variety and made to order items. The rooftop was good as well.
The only caveat that comes with the location is that the rooms are kind of tiny, and parking is pricey (valet is $50nzd /day).
But overall thanks to the staff and location, loved the place.
